Abstract

The golden age of children, which is often called the Golden Age, is when children are between 0 and 6 years old. At this stage of development, children grow and change rapidly. The aim of this community service is to improve students' fine motor skills through origami paper folding activities, including eye and hand coordination abilities, finger flexibility, and accuracy in carrying out fine movements. This project uses the ABCD (Asset Based Communities Development) strategy or method, which is a community development approach that emphasizes the assets and qualities that the community already has. In general, the results of the activity of improving fine motor skills by using origami for kindergarten students at Dharma Wanita Association 3 Tambak Lekok, namely the target of solving the problem in using origami paper to make carrots, are children who have never previously known and make ornamental plants from the material. origami paper, but in the activity of Improving Fine Motor Skills Using Origami for Kindergarten Students of Dharma Wanita Association 3 Tambak Lekok with enthusiasm to follow and learn together in making carrots from origami materials. Because with this creative activity, children of their age become increasingly curious about what they didn't know before, thus encouraging and encouraging them to learn together in paper folding activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to increase awareness and ability of local communities in handling organic waste from homes to be composted. Waste that can be used effectively to reduce environmental pollution and improve the condition of agricultural land is called household organic waste. The method used is participatory Action Research (PAR) this activity is in the form of a field demonstration which takes place at the Green House of Bakungtemenggungan village by directly showing the process of making liquid compost in the field. The results obtained in this activity show that the community has increased its ability in terms of handling organic waste and making compost which is one form of organic fertilizer. Community service activities, villagers can reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the environment and increase knowledge and ability in waste management.

Abstract

Sampah adalah masalah yang sangat kompleks bagi masyarakat dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Volume, jenis, dan sifat sampah yang dihasilkan meningkat sebagai akibat dari pertumbuhan populasi dan perubahan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) digunakan, yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam proses pengelolaan sampah secara langsung. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Grogol, yang dikelola oleh Bank Sampah Macan Glowing, adalah untuk mengubah sampah menjadi cara yang menguntungkan secara ekonomi dan lingkungan. Memilah, menimbang, dan mendaur ulang adalah semua bagian dari sistem pengelolaan sampah yang digunakan oleh program ini. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif, Bank Sampah Macan Glowing berhasil menurunkan jumlah sampah yang dibuang ke tempat pembuangan akhir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pengelolaan sampah yang inovatif dan partisipatif membantu mengatasi masalah lingkungan dan menghasilkan nilai sosial dan ekonomi yang besar. Ini menunjukkan bahwa model ini dapat diterapkan di tempat lain.

Abstract

The Belaria activity, in the form of a coloring competition using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) empowerment method, aims to improve the creative skills and understanding of participants through a collaborative and participatory approach. The PAR method is applied to actively involve participants in every stage of the activity, from planning to evaluation, so that they can contribute and reflect on the coloring process. In this coloring competition, participants are invited to color pictures with certain relevant themes, such as plants and animals, with a focus on the application of basic coloring techniques. Evaluation is carried out through direct observation and participatory feedback, to assess the effectiveness of the method in developing participants' skills and measuring its impact on their understanding of the coloring process. The results of the activity show that this activity has succeeded in empowering participants, increasing their involvement in the creative process, and utilizing free time. This competition not only provides a forum for creative expression but also strengthens participants' ability to collaborate and reflect on learning experiences

Abstract

Marriages across religious organizations reflect the complexity of social and cultural dynamics in contemporary society. This article examines the challenges and adaptation strategies of couples in such marriages. With a focus on understanding, compromise, social support and family identity, the research highlights the central role of society and religious communities to shape family well-being. The analysis also shows that acceptance of religious differences, open communication and constructive conflict management are key aspects to building healthy relationships. The results of this study provide valuable insights for couples across religious organizations, family guidance practitioners, and religious community leaders to understand the dynamics of such marriages and strengthen efforts to support family well-being within the framework of religious diversity.

Abstract

Orphans often face obstacles in obtaining proper education. This program provides support through scholarships and participation in Qur'anic and Mathematics Olympiad competitions. Through this program, orphans can access quality education, increase their confidence, and develop their potential. The community service method was conducted through observation and documentation. The results show an increase in academic achievement and moral character development of the orphans. In conclusion, this program plays an important role in supporting orphans in achieving their right to education and developing their potential through educational competitions. The results show an increase in academic achievement, moral character development, and increased confidence of the orphans. This community service makes a positive contribution in supporting orphans in achieving their right to education and developing their potential through educational competitions.

Abstract

Hydroponic plants are plants that grow using hydro or water media. This plant is more efficient in saving space, soil media and fertilizer and so on. This community service research aims to describe strategies for improving the economy of PKK mothers by implementing the idea of hydroponic plants in Pertanmaduretno Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The author used descriptive qualitative research with observation and documentation data collection techniques at the research location. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data presentation, data condensation, and data conclusion. The results of the research show that the hydroponic plant strategy is effective in improving the economy of PKK mothers. The author participated in observing and playing a direct role in planting hydroponic plants.

Abstract

Along with the development of MSMEs in Banjarkemantren Village, it is necessary to make a breakthrough by increasing productivity. With increased productivity, it can directly increase profits. One of these breakthroughs is by changing the process of manually kneading bread dough into a bread dough kneading process machine in the form of a mixer machine that has a large capacity and is fast and is able to increase the viscosity / viscosity of the dough. With a simple concept of dynamo motor to gear box. From the gear box is connected to a 10 cm pulley and forwarded with a v belt to a 30 cm pulley, so that the dynamo speed can be lowered. The mixer can be modified from the old mixer by opening the other 2 sides for wider reach. From here a simple kneading machine was created that can improve the manual method with the machine so that the production of bread dough can increase.

Abstract

Kegiatan Implementasi KERBAMAS dalam Upaya Pencegahan Bencana Banjir di Kecamatan Tenggilis Mejoyo dilakukan pada tanggal 14 Januari 2024, dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat, termasuk anak-anak, remaja, dan orang dewasa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta mencegah terjadinya bencana banjir. Menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), kegiatan ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam membersihkan sampah yang menyumbat gorong-gorong, menanam pohon, dan membangun kali-kali kecil untuk memperlancar aliran air. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan menjadi lebih bersih dan risiko terjadinya banjir dapat diminimalkan. Setelah kegiatan tersebut, meskipun hujan deras mengguyur, tidak terjadi banjir yang menggenangi jalanan atau rumah warga. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kebersihan lingkungan, tetapi juga mempererat rasa sosial dan kebersamaan antarwarga, yang penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang peduli terhadap lingkungan mereka. Diharapkan kegiatan serupa dapat terus dilakukan untuk mencegah bencana banjir di masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan sharing yang rutin diadakan oleh Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama (IPNU) dan Ikatan Pelajar Putri Nahdlatul Ulama (IPPNU) memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat solidaritas dan kebersamaan antaranggota, serta meningkatkan semangat kepemudaan yang berbasis nilai-nilai Ahlusunnah Wal Jamaah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kegiatan sharing yang dilaksanakan tiap bulan dapat mempererat hubungan antaranggota IPNU dan IPPNU di Desa Karangpuri, serta memperkuat rasa kebersamaan dalam organisasi. Kegiatan sharing diorganisasi secara rutin dengan tujuan membangun komunikasi yang terbuka di antara anggota, memberikan kesempatan untuk saling berbagi pengalaman, serta mendiskusikan isu-isu yang relevan dengan perkembangan organisasi dan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan seringnya interaksi dan komunikasi antaranggota, solidaritas di dalam organisasi semakin kuat, menciptakan rasa saling mendukung, serta memperkuat komitmen anggota terhadap tujuan bersama. Dengan demikian, kegiatan sharing dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana efektif untuk memperkuat solidaritas, meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan anggota, serta menjaga eksistensi dan relevansi organisasi kepemudaan dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman.
