Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan pendidik dalam penyusunan modul elektronik dengan pendekatan open ended. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMA N 2 kota Batu yang terdiri dari 7 subjek. Permasalahan ini diperoleh dengan adanya kegiatan Forume Group Discussion yang mana dalam pelaksanaannya tersebut disampaikan perlunya pelatihan penyusunan modul elektronik guna menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran blended learning. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Dimana kegiatan pelatihan diisi oleh ahli penyusunan bahan ajar dan dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar elektronik setelah kegiatan pelatihan tersebut serta kegiatan evaluasi program yang diberikan melalui google form. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat antusias dari subjek. Selain itu juga terlihat dari hasil evaluasi melalui google form yang mendapatkan rata-rata 82,33 % dan persentase tertingga adalah pada penjelasan materi yaitu 86%. Pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan e-modul ini dianggap penting karena dapat membantu pendidik dalam mempersiapkan bahan ajar guna menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga semua peserta didik dapat mendapatkannyaAbstract: The goal of this service activity is to help educators enhance their skills in creating electronic modules using an open-ended approach. This exercise was place in SMA Negeri 2 Batu City and involved seven subjects. This issue was discovered through the Forume Group Discussion activity, in which it was communicated that training in the development of electronic modules was required to enable the deployment of blended learning. Training and mentoring activities are employed as the method. Where professionals in the development of teaching materials fill the training activities, which are followed by mentoring activities in the preparation of electronic teaching materials after the training activities and program assessment activities provided through a google form. The outcomes of the training and mentoring activities revealed that the training and mentoring went well and that the subjects were enthusiastic about it. Furthermore, it can be observed from the results of the evaluation through the google form, which received an average of 82.33 percent, with the highest percentage (86 percent) in the material explanation. This training and assistance in the creation of e-modules is significant because it can help instructors create teaching resources to support learning activities that are accessible to all students.

Abstract

The aimed study is analyzing the mathematical ability of students with relational thinking skills in geometry transformation material. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by giving tests based on contextual problems and interviews. The test result was used to measure the effectiveness and completeness of learning outcomes. Furthermore, the result of the interviews supported the data of test results and identified the problem that was faced during the process of the test. The research showed that the most achieved indicator is the first indicator which can write the important information and create the relation about the description of the problem. Meanwhile, the least indicator that has been achieved was the third and fourth indicator which analyzed the relation by using structures, symbols, and properties to find models and re-check in the form of sketching and operating matrices transformation.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu “mengkaji kemampuan matematis peserta didik dengan relational thinking skill pada materi transformasi geometri”. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskripstif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.  Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan soal tes berbasis permasalahan kontekstual dan wawancara. Hasil test digunakan untuk mengukur keefektifan dan ketuntasan hasil belajar. Selanjutnya hasil wawancara mendukung data dari hasil tes dan mengidentifikasi masalah yang dihadapi selama proses tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indikator yang paling banyak dicapai yaitu indikator pertama yang mana mampu menuliskan informasi penting dan membentuk relasi tentang gambaran sebuah masalah. Sementara itu, indikator yang paling sedikit dicapai adalah indikator ketiga dan keempat yang mana menganalisis relasi dengan menggunakan struktur, simbol, dan sifat untuk mencari model dan mengecek kembali dalam bentuk sketsa dan operasi transformasi matriks.

Abstract

The goal of the research to describe of development of card media with scientificapproach on mathematics lesson, and show the practical and effectivity of cardmedia with scientific approach. The research's model use Borg and Gall model.The steps of the research are : analyze of potential and problem, the collect ofdata, product design, design validation and revision of design. Trying of test wasconducted to know the effectivity of card media. The instrument use observationsheet, questionnaire, and observation sheet of test's trying. The design of validation'sresult show that media is valid and it can apply on the teaching learning. Theresult of test's trying show that card media is practical to use as mathematicslearning's media. Beside that, the student classical of total's percentage after do thetest show that media is effective to use as teaching learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills ofhomeschooling students in solving mathematical problems. The type ofthis research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Subjects inthis study were six students homeschooling is equivalent to junior highschool students class IX. Data were obtained through tests and interviews.Test are identified and described in accordance with the achievement ofstudents towards critical thinking indicators used in this research thatclarification, assessment, strategy/ tactics, and inference. The results of theinterviews are used to further strengthen the data on homeschoolingstudents' critical thinking skills. The results showed that onehomeschooling student is in the category of less critical, four students areon quite critical category and only one student in a critical category.This suggests that homeschooling students' critical thinking skills arelow. Low critical thinking skills are affected by limitations homeschoolingstudent learning of mathematics is done, students 'mathematical ability andmathematical learning processes that do not yet geared to developinghomeschooling students' critical thinking skills. So that based on the resultsof this study are advised to make the learning process of mathematics todevelop homeschooling students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop smart binoculars learning media for trigonometry material in Vocational Schools so that it can help and facilitate mathematics teachers in explaining one of the concepts of trigonometry material. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) while the development of instructional media refers to the modified Borg and Gall model, namely research and collection, planning, product draft development, expert validation, small-scale trials. The development has three criteria, namely valid, practical and effective. The results showed that obtained from filling out the validation sheet by the material expert and media expert validators were in the valid category. Furthermore, the practicality of smart binoculars learning media based on student response questionnaire the average student is satisfied with the learning experience using learning media and for the effectiveness of smart binoculars learning media get positive things because the evaluation of ten samples of students gets grades above minimal completeness criteria.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the pattern of learning communication in improving education quality in Senior High SchoolBinaKaryaAtambuaBeluDistrict. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach because of the aim to know a case about communication patterns applied at Senior High School Bina Karya Atambua. Sources of data in this study were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data include school principals, deputy school principals in the curriculum, deputy school principals in facilities and infrastructure, two teachers, and four students. Secondary data includes data taken from documentation data in the form of school profiles, facilities and infrastructure, student data, graduation data, education staff data, and other data relating to the research conducted. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques began with data reduction, data presentation until concluding. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results showed that learning communication patterns have been carried out, but in practice, there are still problems including much ongoing communication tends to be one-way, lack of relevant reference books, and there are still many teachers who have insufficient teaching experience. Efforts must be made to overcome existing obstacles through applying more varied communication patterns to produce communicative communication, procure reference books, and improve teaching experience and professionalism in learning through various educational activities and training.Keywords: Analysis, Communication Patterns, Learning, Education Quality Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ola komunikasi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMABinaKarya AtambuaKabupatenBelu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus karena bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebuah kasus mengenai pola komunikasi yang diterapkan di sma bina karya Atambua.  Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer meliputi Kepala sekolah, Wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, Wakil Kepala sekolah bidang sarana dan prasarana, Dua guru, dan Empat siswa. Data Sekunder meliputi data yang diambil dari data dokumentasi berupa profil sekolah, sarana dan prasarana, data siswa, data hasil kelulusan, data tenaga kependidikan serta data lain yang berkenaan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, sampai penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pola komunikasi pembelajaran sudah dilakukan, namun dalam prakteknya masih mengalami kendala diantaranya masih banyak komunikasi berjalan cenderung satu arah, kurangnya sarana buku-buku reverensi yang relevan, dan masih banyak tenaga guru yang memiliki pangalaman mengajar belum memadai. Sehingga harus dilakukan upaya untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada melalui menerapkan pola komunikasi yang lebih bervariasi sehingga menghasilakan komunikasi yang komunikatif, pengadaan buku-buku reverensi, dan meningkatkan pengalaman mengajar serta profesionalitas dalam pembelajaran melalui berbagai kegiatan dan pelatihan pendidikan.Kata kunci: Analisis, Pola Komunikasi, Pembelajaran, Mutu Pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract: School participation is integrally an effort to achieve quality education quality. This study aims to obtain information about (1) factors that influence the level of achievement and school participation rates, constraints in increasing enrollment rates. (2) the role of regional autonomy in improving the quality of education services. The approach used is a type of qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews and documents and observation. The results showed that (1) Factors influencing the low number of school participation in Merauke Regency were access to education that was difficult to reach in remote areas, limited availability of teacher numbers and uneven distribution, teacher welfare that was still lacking, educational facilities that were not yet adequate in remote areas, the level of public education, and the slow attention of the government. (2) The role of regional autonomy in improving the quality of education services has not been maximized. The principle of justice, efficiency, transparency, and public accountability in efforts to improve and improve the quality and quantity of education becomes the responsibility and concern of all parties, both the government, regional governments, and the community.Keywords: Participation Rates, Level of Achievement, Education Abstrak: Partisipasi sekolah secara integral menjadi usaha dalam mencapai mutu pendidikan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang (1) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat ketercapaian dan angka partisipasi sekolah, kendala dalam peningkatan angka partisipasi. (2) peran otonomi daerah dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan pendidikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan dokumen serta observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya angka partisipasi sekolah di Kabupaten Merauke yaitu akses pendidikan yang sulit dijangkau pada daerah terpencil, ketersediaan jumlah tenaga guru yang terbatas dan distribusinya kurang merata, kesejahteraan guru yang masih kurang, fasilitas pendidikan yang belum memadai di daerah terpencil, tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, serta lambannya perhatian dari pemerintah. (2) Peran otonomi daerah dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan pendidikan belum maksimal. Prinsip keadilan, efisiensi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas publik dalam upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas serta kuantitas pendidikan menjadi tanggung jawab dan perhatian bersama seluruh pihak, baik pemerintah, pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat.Kata kunci: Angka Partisipasi, Tingkat Ketercapaian, Pendidikan

Abstract

bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media space geometry flipbook (SGF) audio visual berbasis digital literacy untuk siswa SMP yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan research and development dengan tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation yang berorientasi pada produk. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP yang  berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi, lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan tes evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan  bahwa media SGF yang dikembangkan valid menjadi sarana belajar siswa. Media ini praktis digunakan karena siswa mampu mengoperasikan media dengan lancar, serta 74 % siswa dapat menyelesaikan soal evaluasi dengan ketercapaian skor minimal 70. Hasil observasi pada siswa memperoleh persentase 78,25% terkait ketercapaian digital literacy.   Abstract This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective media space geometry flipbook (SGF) based on digital literacy for junior high school students. This type of research is research and development with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation that are product-oriented. The subjects in this study were high, medium, and low-ability junior high school students. The instruments used include validation sheets, questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and evaluation tests. The results showed that the developed SGF media was valid as a means of learning for students. This media is practical to use because students can  operate the media smoothly, and 74% of students can complete evaluation questions with a minimum score of 70. The observation results in students obtained a percentage of 78.25% related to the achievement of digital literacy.

Abstract

Tujuan kurikulum dapat dicapai dengan cara mengimplementasikannya dalam bentuk pembelajaran di kelas melalui model pembelajaran tertentu. Rendahnya penalaran siswa SMP menunjukan proses pembelajaran tidak berjalan secara efektif dan efisien, untuk itu memerlukan pengembangan model pembelajarannya. Atas dasar itulah, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran model Group Investigasi berbasis penalaran berbantuan soal open-ended pada Kurikulum Matematika SMP. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dapat meningkatkan penalaran matematika siswa, adalah metode research and development (R&D). Sedangkan data diperoleh melalui teknik dokumen, observasi, angket, dan tes. Berdasarkan uji validitas, perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid/layak dan bisa digunakan. Sedangkan hasil uji coba dalam praktik pembelajaran di SMPN 3 Batu, Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia didapat bahwa uji keterlaksanaan dalam kategori sangat sesuai, sikap siswa baik, dan dapat meningkatkan penalaran matematika siswa. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan penalaran, maka menggunakan instrument tes berbasis penalaran yang sudah divalidasi pada pre-test dan post-test. Hasil posttest lebih tinggi dari pretest, dan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara keduanya, dengan t-tes = -10,54, dan sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran model Group Investigasi berbasis penalaran dengan soal open-ended ini dapat dan layak digunakan dalam Kurikulum Matematika di SMP.

Abstract

The study was aimed to produce an evaluation instrument in the form of a PISA problem type mathematical problem with a valid, practical and effective local cultural context to assess students' mathematical literacy viewed from the context of local culture in Kota Batu. The research method used is research design with the type of development study which consists of two stages, namely the preliminary stage and the formative evaluation stage. The preliminary stage includes analysis of student needs, curriculum analysis, and analysis of PISA evaluation instruments. The formative evaluation stage includes self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small groups and field tests. Data were collected through field test tests with three valid PISA problem type math problems at the expert review stage, practically at the small group stage, while effectively reviewed at the field test stage that was able to attract interest and motivate students so that they were challenged to complete the questions given. Students' mathematical literacy skills are found in developing strategies to solve problems.
