The equality of gender roles between men and women is a problem / polemic due to differences in gender roles. Social agreements place women to be regulated by men in life. This study discusses subordination of women in short story of Kompas newspaper on 2017. This is important to understand because understanding about subordination of women can be used as a standard of behavior to achieve harmonious and democratic community life. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis strategies. The research data was obtained from short story documents published in the Kompas newspaper in July 2017 to December 2017. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use library research techniques. Data validity uses theory triangulation. The results showed that the subordination of women in Kompas short stories in 2017 in the form of a decision to determine the number of children was a man's decision and the decision of a girl's mate was under a man's decision as the head of the family (patriarchal culture).

Study this aiming for describe the function from makyong theater is as Learning Literature in high school. This study uses descriptive methods qualitative to describe the phenomena that take place in the present and the past. The use of this type of research describes data with words or sentences that are distinguished according to certain parts of the elements to obtain conclusions. Data from this study are in the form of documents. The document used as a source of data in this study is a video of the performance of the makyong theater and the results of a document review from Malay royal library in the area of North Sumatra . The primary data sources in this study were (a) informants, (b) documents, (c) Makyong Theater videos "Cerita Putri Ratna" . While secondary data sources are relevant primary books, international journals, papers, etc. that are needed in the study of theory. Data analysis used is an interactive analysis method. Based on the results of the study there are five main discussions, namely (1) Media Function of Aesthetic Expression, (2) Propaganda function, (3) education function.

The purpose of this research is to describe the response action in Coklat Kita Humor Sufi entitled "The Wallet’s Health". The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. The data and data sources are in the form of words, phrases, or sentences found in the talk show video of Coklat Kita Humor Sufi. The data were collected by using the uninvolved conversation observation technique. The test of the validity of the data is using investigator triangulation. The analysis technique with three components, namely reduction, presentation, and data collection. The results of the data analysis found that the response strategies that occurred were (1) criticizing, (2) convincing, (3) sense of wonder, (4) agreeing, (5) clarifying, (6) blaming, (7) explaining, and (8) suggesting. The response strategy is dominated by direct explanation. AbstrakTujuan dari adanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tanggapan dalam program Coklat Kita Humor Sufi yang berjudul “Kesehatan Dompet”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis isi. Data dan sumber data berupa kata, frasa, atau kalimat yang ditemukan dalam program Coklat Kita Humor Sufi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak libat bebas cakap. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi penyidik. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah tiga komponen, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan data. Analisis data menghasilkan strategi tindak tanggapan yang terjadi yang berupa (1) mengkritik, (2) meyakinkan, (3) rasa heran, (4) menyetujui, (5) mengklarifikasi, (6) menyalahkan, (7) menjelaskan, dan (8) menyarankan. Strategi tanggapan yang dilakukan didominasi dengan menjelaskan secara langsung.

This aims of this research are : (1) Describe and tell the stucture of novel Sordam by Suhunan Situmorang; (2) describe and tell the characters of the main characters in the novel Sordam by Suhunan Situmorang; (3) describe and tell the relevance of the study of novel Sordam by Suhunan Situmorang with learning Indonesian in Senior High School. The conclusions of this research, namely: (1) the structure of the text consists of the characterization study with showing method that can be analyzed through dialogue and the character’s behavior. The second characterization study that is viewpoint technique using the third person who know everything; (2) the main character in the novel Sordam that is Paltibonar with ambitious character, tough, and has a high sense of social. The mother’s character is stubborn. Diandra’s character is obedient to their parents and less patient. Mary’s character is independent; (3) the relevance of study of novel Sordam with learning Indonesian in Senior High School is this novel, its contents suitable with senior high school students as well as the values that contained are taken as a lesson.

Javanese society was awarded a noble cultural heritage. Every Javanese tradition and literature always contains the teachings of the value of goodness in it, including Serat Wedhatama pupuh Gambuh by KGPAA Mangkunegara IV. Serat Wedhatama pupuh Gambuh contains the value of Islamic religiosity, which is very important to be studied considering the occurrence of moral degradation among generations of the nation. Weak religious values are one of the factors in this moral degradation. So that this study is important to do with the hope that it can contribute to the cultivation of religious and cultural values to the nation's generation. The results of this study indicate that there is a value of Islamic religiosity in Serat Wedhatama pupuh Gambuh. These values can be used as parameters and guidelines for life. This study can also be used as a solution to answer the condition of the people who are in the midst of deculturation and dereligiosity.

Writing is one of the four aspects of language skills. Writing is a form of indirect communication that expresses the author's intentions. In writing a drama script, there are 3 essential things that must be mastered. The advantages of writing scripts for children are not as real as the real conditions in the field. At least students write children's scripts, and it's not because they don't like children's scripts. But because they do not understand who the child is and how. To overcome this, the authors apply the IDCD strategy (Identification, Design, Change, and Development) and its implementation in Merdeka Learning. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method, based on a literature review. The results achieved by using this IDCD strategy are. This strategy has four main stages: defining, designing, modifying, and developing. This strategy creates a good storyline and is in accordance with the developmental level of the child, but for good results the time needed is relatively long term.

Youtube merupakan salah satu bentuk media komunikasi pada masa kini. Youtube sebagai media sosial masa kini memuat keberagaman penggunaan bahasa menjadi penting untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk dan fungsi deiksis sosial dalam vlog Upacara Bakar Jenazah Ngaben, Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis konten. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif berbentuk kata yang diperoleh dari analisis dokumen berupa vlog Upacara Bakar Jenazah Ngaben, Bali channel Youtube Dzawin Nur tayangan 19 Maret 2020. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah channel Youtube Dzawin Nur. Simpulan penelitian: (1) Dalam vlog Upacara Bakar Jenazah Ngaben, Bali ditemukan 19 bentuk deiksis sosial, antara lain: Coy, Gua, Aku, Saya, Ida Bagus, Dia, Gungde, Bli, Anda, Gus, Lu, Bro, Pak, Almarhum, Paman, Kamu, Jenazah, Teman-teman, dan Nyerot; (2) Fungsi deiksis sosial dalam vlog Upacara Bakar Jenazah Ngaben, Bali antara lain sebagai (a) pembeda status sosial dan konteks, (b) menunjukkan keakraban atau kekerabatan, (c) bentuk penghormatan, dan (d) bentuk penyelarasan aspek-aspek sosial budaya.

This study aims to describe directive and expressive speech acts that appear in the reservoir_njeblug Instagram account. The benefit of this research is to increase the diversity of language knowledge typical of the Tegal dialect "ngapak" which contains directive and expressive speech. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of text posted on social media Instagram reservoir_njeblug account. The results of the study in the form of directive and expressive speech acts amounted to 54 data collected for two months, namely January and February 2022, there were 26 directive functions and 28 expressive functions with the percentage of directives prohibiting 5.56%, warning 20.37%, suggesting 14.81%, inviting 5.56% and ordering 1.85%. Expressive function surrender 25.93%, pity 1.85%, disappointed 16.67%, satire 3.70%, concern 1.85% and criticize 1.85%. Posts with an expressive function of surrender can be seen from the data that the intensity is most often posted because the account seeks to invite readers to together see the real reality of life and to always be grateful and surrender to what has been outlined in their life.

Tradition is one of Indonesia’s cultural richness to preserve. Everyone should know and learn it, especially the younger generation. Tradition contains a wide variety of educational value. This research aims to know the value of education of Susuk Wangan to contruct characters in the millennial era. Susuk Wangan is one of Islamic culture in Wonogiri Regency. The type of this research is a descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the tradition of Susuk Wangan contains educational value, namely religious, social, morality, and culture values. These values can be embedded on the younger generation in order to have a good character in the millennial era.Tradisi merupakan salah satu kekayaan budaya Indonesia yang perlu dilestarikan. Setiap orang harus mengetahui dan mempelajarinya, khususnya generasi muda. Tradisi memuat berbagai macam nilai pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui nilai pendidikan tradisi Susuk Wangan sebagai pembentuk karakter di era milenial. Tradisi Susuk Wangan merupakan salah satu budaya Islam yang terdapat di Kabupaten Wonogiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Susuk Wangan memuat nilai pendidikan, yaitu nilai religius, kesosialan, kesusilaan, dan budaya. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat ditanamkan pada generasi muda agar memiliki karakter yang baik di era milenial.

Abstrak:Novel dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menyampaikan pembelajaran. Khususnya pendidikan karakter. Psikologi sastra dapat digunakan untuk memahami pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam novel. Tujuan penelitian ini pertama, menggambarkan struktur yang membangun novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. Kedua, menjelaskan pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatifdeskriptif dengan pendekatan konten analisis. Data penelitian ini adalah wacana atau kutipan dalam novel. Teknik analisis menggunakan teknik analisis non-interaktif dengan melakukan pembacaan hermeneutik digunakan untuk menjelaskan secara rinci arti dalam bentuk kebahasaan terhadap wacana dalam novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. Hasil penelitian ini pertama, struktur pembangun novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri ini, yaitu tema: perjuangan; alur: campuran; penokohan: Tegar, Darwin, Elang (aku), Waris, Senja, dan Paman Jono; latar: Bukit Bayur, Wogen Legok, rumah paman Wijaya, Purwokerto, kandang sapi, Universitas Gajah Mada, jakarta, dan Sttgart; dan sudut pandang orang pertama. Kedua, berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan 18 pendidikan karakter di dalam novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri yaitu: religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tau, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab.Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, novel Mahamimpi Anak negeri, Psikologi Sastra
