Abstract

This community service activity was carried out for students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang, Riau Province, where the purpose of this community service is to provide provisions in increasing understanding of the concept of Sharia Economics to the community, especially generation Z of students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang. The methods used in this community service activity are through counseling and presentation, discussion and practice (pretset and post test) for participants. The counseling method is used to explain the importance of knowing the concept of Sharia economics for students in order to become prosperous generations using sharia principles. The presentation method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of how we can become individuals who have a prosperous economy. While the question and answer method is used to give participants the opportunity to consult in understanding further the material that has been given. The practice method is used to see how far the participants understand the service before and after the material is delivered. The availability of adequate experts in delivering this material, the enthusiasm of the participants, and the support of the principal for the implementation of the activity are supporters of the implementation of this PPM activity. The obstacles faced are that the students do not yet have initial knowledge about the material of the concept of Islamic economics and limited time in delivering the material. The results of this service indicate that: The community service program can be organized well and run smoothly according to the activity plan that has been prepared, the results of this service concluded that: First, Most students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin do not understand the concept of Islamic economics well, Second, The achievement of the objectives of the community service program for students of SMA IT Al-Utsaimin Bangkinang, the entire program that has been carried out with collaboration between the school and the community service have been carried out all and in accordance with the event rounddown and the time that has been determined previously.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve public understanding of sharia economics through education conducted at Dhuafa Mart, Air Tiris. Dhuafa Mart is a sharia-based economic business that not only functions as a trading center, but also as a means of empowering the poor community. Through this education program, the community is given an understanding of the concept of halal transactions, Islamic financial management, and sharia-based business strategies that can be applied in micro and small businesses. The methods used in this activity are stages of socialization, training, and mentoring for managers and local business actors. Data and evaluation of the success of the program are carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires to education participants. The results of the activity show that the education provided has a positive impact on increasing public understanding of the principles of sharia economics and its application in daily businesses. In addition, this program also encourages active community participation in developing sustainable sharia-based businesses. As a recommendation, there needs to be strengthening of synergy between Dhuafa Mart and sharia financial institutions and local governments to provide further support in developing sharia-based businesses.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of coconut farmers in Kedabu Rapat Village to promote increased income and economic independence. Coconut farmers in the village have long faced challenges such as price fluctuations, limited knowledge of business management, and restricted market access, which have impacted unstable incomes. Through entrepreneurship training, farmers are provided with knowledge on managing coconut businesses, producing processed products, and effective marketing strategies. The service method employs an interactive workshop approach including counseling, hands-on practice, group discussions, and post-training mentoring. The results show an improvement in farmers’ understanding of entrepreneurship concepts and better business management. Farmers have also begun developing processed products such as coconut oil and nata de coco, as well as designing marketing strategies to expand their market reach. Thus, this training successfully increases farmers' motivation and independence in sustainably managing coconut businesses, while opening opportunities for more stable and optimal income growth.

Abstract

Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age is essential in shaping a generation that is independent, creative, and innovative. Junior high school students, particularly those at SMPN 8 Pelalawan District, require entrepreneurial training to help them recognize their potential and identify business opportunities in their surroundings. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of training in cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit among students. The method used is a participatory approach involving training sessions, discussions, simple business practices, and evaluations. The results show an increase in students’ interest and understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, as evidenced by the emergence of creative business ideas and entrepreneurial enthusiasm among most participants. The training also demonstrated that hands-on practical approaches are more effective than lecture-based sessions alone. The study recommends that schools continuously provide entrepreneurship training and incorporate it into extracurricular activities to support students' character development and independence

Abstract

The urgency of entrepreneurship training for women in the Ikatan Keluarga XIII Koto Kampar Sadayoung community arises from the need to enhance the role of women in family economics and local community empowerment. This training aims to improve the entrepreneurial skills of women so that they can effectively manage independent businesses and achieve economic self-reliance. The training method used is a participatory approach, combining material presentations, group discussions, and hands-on practice to sharpen participants' technical and managerial abilities. The results of the training show an increase in entrepreneurial knowledge, product creativity development, and improved self-confidence in running a business. Participants were able to apply effective marketing and financial management techniques, which led to an increase in family income. Based on these results, it is recommended that the training be conducted continuously and its scope expanded to reach more women in the surrounding communities. Furthermore, support from the government and related institutions in the form of capital facilitation and business mentoring is crucial to ensure the success and sustainability of the women's entrepreneurial initiatives.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the understanding and awareness of students at SDN 023 Sungai Geringging regarding the dangers of bullying, as well as to foster mutual respect and create a child-friendly school environment. The implementation method involved interactive socialization, delivery of anti-bullying educational material using visual media and storytelling, group discussions, and simulations of positive behavior. This approach was chosen to help students more easily grasp the messages conveyed and apply them in their daily lives. Additionally, teachers were involved as supervisors and facilitators to ensure the sustainability of the program at school. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ knowledge about the forms and impacts of bullying, the emergence of student commitment to refrain from bullying, and the creation of a more harmonious classroom atmosphere. This program is expected to be an initial step toward establishing a safe, comfortable, and bullying-free school culture.
