Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify students' writing skills in practicum reports based on scientific-based practicum manuals. This study uses a descriptive method using a sample of 38 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, State University of Medan who took the basic concepts of Biology. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that based on the identification of students' writing skills, students' writing abilities in terms of mastery of student material are obtained by 80% of students being able to manage information in paragraphs quite densely, developing, but incomplete, but still quite in accordance with substance, then the ability to write in the aspect of organizing sentences, it was found that 72% of students were able to express ideas in paragraphs although they were still a bit stiff and unorganized, and the ability to write in the aspect of sentence structure was obtained by 68% of students who were able to use sentences effectively. but have not used good grammar.Keyword: Writing Ability, Practical Manual, ScientificAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam laporan praktikum berdasarkan buku petunjuk praktikum berbasis saintifik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 38 mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekola Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Medan yang mengambil mata kuliah konsep dasar Biologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa berdasarkan identifikasi keterampilan menulis mahasiswa diperoleh kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam hal penguasaan materi mahasiswa diperoleh sebesar 80% mahasiswa mampu untuk mengelola informasi dalam paragraf dengan cukup padat, berkembang, akan tetapi kurang lengkap, namun masih cukup sesuai dengan substansi , selanjutnya kemampuan menulis dalam aspek pengorganisasian kalimat diperoleh bahwa sebesar 72% mahasiswa sudah mampu mengemukan ide-ide dalam paragraf meskipun masih agak kaku dan kurang terorganisir , dan kemampuan menulis dalam aspek struktur kalimat diperoleh sebesar 68% mahasiswa sudah mampu menggunakan kalimat yang efektif akan tetapi belum menggunakan tata bahasa yang baik.Keyword: Kemampuan Menulis, Buku Petunjuk Praktikum, Saintifik

Abstract: Student Misconception Analysis Using Three Tier Test Through Application of Sinectic Learning Model. The purpose of this research to analyze student misconception using three tier test through the application of synoptic learning model. This research uses one shot case study method pre experimental. The population used in this study is the students of class VIII SMP, while the sample of research taken at random, that is as many as 34 students. The research instrument used is a three-tier test consisting of 10 questions, questionnaires, and instructional learning sheets. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained that through the application of the synectic learning model can minimize the students misconception on Pressure material. Each stage of synoptic learning can be done well and students are very enthusiastic about the synoptic learning model. Keywords : sinectic, three tier test, misconception Abstrak: Analisis Miskonsepsi Siswa Menggunakan Three Tier Test Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Sinektik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan three tier test melalui penerapan model pembelajaran sinektik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode one shot case study pre experimental. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP, sedangkan sampel penelitian diambil secara acak, yaitu sebanyak 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal three tier test yang terdiri dari 10 soal, angket, dan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran sinektik dapat meminimalisir miskonsepsi siswa pada materi Tekanan. Setiap tahapan pembelajaran sinektik dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan siswa sangat antusias terhadap model pembelajaran sinektik. Kata Kunci : sinektik, three tier test, miskonsepsi

The purpose of this research is to apply the science process skills approach to magnetic material to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Mukti Lincir Aceh Singkil and to find out how the learning process is implemented using experimental methods on magnetic material. The method used in this study is a descriptive method to describe the application of the science process skills approach to the experimental method. Based on the research results obtained through experimental activities in class IV students, totaling 9 people consisting of 5 girls and 4 boys who were divided into 3 groups at SDN Mukti Lincir Aceh Singkil, an increase in learning outcomes, while the results of student responses were based on the questionnaire on the application of the science process skills approach showed a very satisfactory category was obtained by 93,4 %.Keyword: Science Process Skills, Magnets, Learning Outcomes Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains pada materi magnet untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN Mukti Lincir Aceh Singkil dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode eksperimen pada materi magnet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan penerapaan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dengan metode eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh melalui kegiatan eksperimen pada siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah sebanyak 9 orang terdiri dari 5 perempuan dan 4 laki laki yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelompok di SDN Mukti Lincir Aceh Singkil diperoleh peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar, sedangkan hasil respon peserta didik berdasarkan angket terhadap penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan kategori sangat memuaskan sebesar 93,4 %.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Proses Sains, Magnet, Hasil belajar
