Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model Using Brainstroming Methods Against the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model by using the Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is in the form of Experimental Design Tru. The population, all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau were 406 students and the sample was class VII.5 with 35 students as experimental class and VII.4 with 35 students as control class. Sampling is done randomly. Data collection in research using test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that There is an Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model by Using Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average value of the problem solving ability of the experimental class was 62.5 and the control class was 43.3.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau after the guided discovery method is applied. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a population of class VIII as many as 191 students and as a sample was class VIII F as many as 32 students taken randomly. Data collection was carried out using test techniques in the form of essay questions. The collected data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of data analysis on confidence level α = 0.05, it was found that t-count > t-table with a value of 5.18> 1.69 The average value of students before applying the guided discovery method was 21.83 and after giving the guided discovery method is 81.27 with the percentage of students who complete reaches 83.3%. Conclusion, the application of the guided discovery method in mathematics learning is significantly proven to be able to improve the average grades of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to apply the guided discovery method in mathematics learning for eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tugumulyo. The research method used was the quasi-experimental method (Quasi experiment) which was carried out in one experimental class without a comparison group (control group). The population is all students of class VIII SMP totaling 127 students, and as a sample is class VIII.b which is taken randomly by means of the draw. Data analysis using t test, obtained thit = 2.92> ttab = 1.69, so that students' mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of the guided discovery method is complete. The average score of students' mathematics learning using the guided discovery method is 80.80. Conclusion, the application of guided learning methods is very appropriate in mathematics learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik pada Materi Himpunan dan untuk mengetahui kualitas LKS dilihat dari aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tahap analisis meliputi (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) analisis kompetensi dan instruksional. Tahap desain meliputi (1) penyusunan rancangan LKS; (2) membuat instrumen penelitian. Tahap pengembangan meliputi (1) pengembangan LKS; (2) validasi LKS; (3) revisi LKS; (4) ujicoba kelompok kecil. Tahap implementasi (1) ujicoba kelompok besar. Tahap evaluasi meliputi penilaian kualitas LKS. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Xaverius Lubuklinggau. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas LKS yang dikembangkan meliputi angket ahli dan angket kepraktisan siswa. Angket ahli digunakan untuk mengukur kevalidan LKS sedangkan angket kepraktisan siswa digunakan untuk mengukur kepraktisan LKS. Produk penelitian berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik pada Materi Himpunan kelas VII SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualitas bahan ajar dilihat dari aspek kevalidan termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,08 berdasarkan penilaian tiga dosen ahli (ahli bahasa, materi dan media) dengan skor maksimal 4,00; dan (2) kualitas bahan ajar dilihat dari aspek kepraktisan dikategorikan sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,43 berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap LKS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on the ability to think mathematically creative in class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. This study uses a True Experimental Design approach. In this study the sample used were two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The average score of mathematical creative thinking abilities that have been obtained by students on the final test in the experimental class is 19.5517 and in the control class an average score of 14.44783 is obtained. Both classes are normally distributed and homogeneous both on the initial and final tests. The collected data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis obtained tcount = 2.5400 and ttable (at a significant level = 0.05) = 2.001. This shows tcount> ttable, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of problem-based learning models on the ability of mathematical creative thinking ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce discovery learning based on valid, practical and effective discovery. This research is a research development using a modification of the development model of 4-D (Four D-Models) learning tools, consisting of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The instruments of this study were the worksheet validation sheets, practical sheets, student worksheets and worksheet effectiveness sheets. Some stages in this research consist of the development study phase and the evaluation phase to test the effectiveness and test the feasibility of new student worksheets for use in learning. Validity category research results obtained an average of 3.7 with a valid category. In the practicality category the worksheets were developed based on student assessments with an average of 3.83 and based on teacher ratings of 3.63 by being in the practical category. The results of the effectiveness of learning obtained by the achievement of teacher activity with an average of 4.37 with active categories. For observations of student activities during learning takes place an average of 3.73 with the category is in active criteria. In conclusion, the development of Discovery Learning based on LKS is categorized as valid, practical and effective to be used by students in building material on flat sides, cubes and beams. Abstract

This study aims to develop scientific-based macromedia flash learning media on integer material for seventh grade junior high school students and determine the quality of learning media developed based on validity and practicality. This research is a development study using the ADDIE development model. The stages of the ADDIE development model consist of 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The results of the study, from the results of the assessment analysis by the three experts namely: linguists, material experts, and media experts, the learning media developed met very valid criteria with an average score of 4.24. The results of the analysis of the practicality of the user questionnaire (teachers and students) met very practical criteria with an average score of 4.37. The characteristics of the developed media are 1) The material is in accordance with the competency to be achieved; 2) The learning objectives are clear; 3) There are clear instructions; 4) Language that is easily understood by students; 5) In accordance with the approach used is a scientific approach; 6) There is a section to motivate students; 7) Clear learning flow; 8) There are practice questions and discussion as well as evaluation questions; 9) Interactive; 10) Easy navigation; 11) Images, animations, text, and colors are presented in harmony and harmony. In conclusion, the development of scientific-based macromedia flash learning media meets valid and practical criteria for use by VII grade junior high school students in learning integer material. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the improvement of students' high level of thinking ability through hots-based LKPD rocky mathematics learning. This research is a kuantitafif research with research design one group pretest -posttest design. This research instrument is a question of essays totaling 3 questions consisting of indicators of tingi level thinking, namely analyzing, evaluating and creating. The sample selection was done in cluster random sampling with the selected sample is class VIII-2 which consists of 22 students. The data obtained were analyzed using unilateral t-tests. Based on the results of data analysis at a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained ρ value 0.033 with an average high level of thinking ability of students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau city is 74.09 with a good category. In conclusion, there is a significant increase in students' high-level thinking ability after doing LKPD-assisted mathematics lessons based on HOTS. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on students' positive attitudes. The research method used is the experimental method. Sample selection was done by random sampling technique. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Terpadu Bengkulu City. The selected sample was class VIII-A, which consisted of 28 people as the experimental class and class VIII-D, which consisted of 28 people as the control class. The results of this study indicate that the result is F = 16.06 where the value of sig <0.05 means that there is a significant interaction between students' attitude questionnaire scores (before-after) between classes (experimental-control). The interaction showed that the scores of students' attitude questionnaires between classes were significantly different. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on students' positive attitudes. The effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on the positive attitude of students in the experimental class is 89.8% while in the control class it is 53.8%. Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on adobe flash by using the context of the Women's House Lubuklinggau City on valid and practical trigonometry material. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this study include validators (language, material and media experts), mathematics teachers and class X students in the one to one and small group test. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the analysis of the validation questionnaire assessment by the three validators, it shows that the learning media developed meets the very valid criteria with a validity result of 81.45%. While the results of the analysis of the practicality questionnaire assessment by teachers and students showed that the learning media developed met the very practical criteria with practicality results of 95.31%.
