Abstract

Amidst the onslaught of globalization in the 21st century, education must innovate in learning to develop problem-solving skills and foster a love of local culture. One way to do this is through the implementation of ethnomathematics in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of ethnomathematics in learning to develop mathematical problem-solving skills and a love of local culture. The study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method for articles published between 2018 and 2023 on the impact of ethnomathematics on mathematical problem-solving skills and a love of local culture. Fourteen national and international articles were obtained from the Google Scholar and Scopus databases. The results indicate that ethnomathematics learning can effectively help develop students' problem-solving skills and a love of local culture. Its implementation is used as an integrated approach in learning models and learning media. Therefore, the design of ethnomathematics-based mathematics modules has greater potential to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation from various cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) berorientasi pada kearifan lokal, menguji kepraktisan, kevalidan, serta keefektifan media LKPD Matematika HOTS berorientasi kearifan lokal di SD Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Populasi serta sampel yang dipilih ialah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Teknik dalam mengumpulkan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, tes, serta angket. Teknik dalam menganalisa data mencakup pengujian kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian menghasilkan bahwa dengan penilaian bahasa, media, serta materi memperlihatkan bahwa media LKPD telah memenuhi parameter valid disertai skor rerata 0,88. Sementara melalui analisa penilaian lembar kepraktisan guru dan siswa menunjukkan kepraktisan media LKPD dengan skor rerata 92%. Pada pengujian keefektifan, didapatkan N-gain (g) sejumlah 0,68 dengan interpretasi sedang, berarti LKPD Matematika HOTS berorientasi kearifan lokal mempunyai efektifitas sedang. Maka, disimpulkan bahwa media LKPD matematika HOTS berorientasi kearifan lokal dinilai, valid, praktis, serta efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika SD Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of the research was to determine students' understanding of mathematical concepts at SD Negeri 34 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model assisted by Audio Visual Media. The research method is Pre Experiment Design in the form of pretest posttest design. The data collection technique is in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using z-test. The understanding of mathematical concepts of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 34 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model assisted by Audio Visual media significantly reached the good category. The results of the pre-test calculation of understanding mathematical concepts obtained an average value of 24.21 in the very low category and the results of the post-test calculation of understanding of mathematical concepts obtained an average value of 79.37 in the good category. Based on the results of the z-test analysis at a significant level of α = 0.05, it can be seen that z_count (4.20) ≥ z_tabel (1.64), it can be concluded that students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model assisted by Audio Visual Media is significant reached the good category. Abstract

This research aims to determine the completeness of social studies learning outcomes for Class IV Students of SD Negeri 30 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Submission and Problem Solving (JUCAMA) Learning Model. This research method is experimental, with the design used being a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consisted of three classes, namely classes IVA, and IVB, and the sample in this study was 21 students class IVA students at SD Negeri 30 Lubuklinggau using random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses an essay test. Data analysis techniques use: t test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis with the confidence level obtained α= 0.05, the data = 2,460 and = 2,085, the data shows that the value of >. The students' average pretest score was 24,52 and the average posttest score was 76,79, so it can be said that a was accepted and o was rejected. The results of the research can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes for Class IV of SD Negeri 30 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Submission and Problem Solving (JUCAMA) learning model are significantly complete.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a valid, useful, and potentially beneficial student worksheet for class VIII students that utilizes the material of the Pythagorean theorem in the context of Lubuklinggau local wisdom and Indonesian realistic mathematics education. The 4-D development paradigm, which comprises of the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate, is being used in this development research project. This study involves class VIII students, math teachers, and validators (linguists, media specialists, and material experts). Techniques for gathering data include tests, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The generated LKPD has a language validity of 0.78 in the valid category, media validity of 0.83 in the very valid category, and material validity of 0.81 in the very valid category based on the research findings. Based on these data, the mathematics worksheet developed in this research using Pythagorean theorem material in the context of local wisdom in the city of Lubuk-Lingau is very valid and practical and has potential effects so that it can be used to study the Pythagorean theorem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan Media Leaflet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK), dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN 81 Lubuklinggau sebanyak 16 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik skor rata-rata atau presentase. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Presentase hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus 47% dengan kategori kurang, siklus I sebesar 60% dengan kategori cukup, kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan 69% dengan kategori baik, pada siklus III hasil belajar siswa kembali mengalami peningkatan dengan presentase 78% dengan kategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Leaflet pada mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy among university students remains low, partly due to the lack of contextualized teaching materials that support higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). This study aims to develop a HOTS-based mathematics module integrating the tourism context of Lubuklinggau to improve students' mathematical literacy. The study employed a research and development (RD) approach using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Participants included first-semester PGSD students at Universitas PGRI Silampari, comprising 6 students in small group testing and 31 students in field testing. Instruments included expert validation forms, practicality questionnaires, and a mathematical literacy test. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. Validation results showed the module was considered valid (content: 80%, media: 80%, language: 89%). Practicality assessments from lecturers (87%) and students (97%) indicated the module was highly usable. The module effectively improved students’ mathematical literacy, with an average score of 80.31%, classified as "very effective." All assessed indicators—communication, problem-solving strategies, mathematization, representation, and reasoning—achieved either effective or very effective categories. The integration of local tourism context within a HOTS framework offers a promising strategy to enhance students' engagement and comprehension. The developed module not only meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness but also serves as a relevant instructional tool for supporting 21st-century skills in mathematics education.
