Abstract

Keamanan toko merupakan aspek penting yang memerlukan perhatian khusus untuk mencegah tindakan kriminal seperti pencurian dan vandalisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring keamanan toko berbasis WiFi menggunakan IP Camera sebagai solusi efisien dan efektif dalam memantau kondisi toko secara real-time. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengirimkan gambar dan video dari kamera pengawas yang terhubung melalui jaringan WiFi ke perangkat pengguna, sehingga pemilik toko dapat memantau situasi secara langsung dari jarak jauh. Pengujian sistem dilakukan pada berbagai skenario untuk mengevaluasi kinerja transmisi data, kualitas gambar, serta kehandalan koneksi WiFi dalam lingkungan toko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memberikan pemantauan yang optimal dengan kualitas video yang memadai, serta memberikan peringatan dini melalui notifikasi saat terdeteksi aktivitas mencurigakan. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan toko secara signifikan dan meminimalisir potensi kerugian akibat tindakan kriminal.

Abstract

Motor induksi 3 phase banyak ditemui di dunia industri. Hal ini dikarenakan motor induksi memiliki bentuk yang sederhana, struktur yang kokoh, perawatan yang mudah. Namun motor induksi juga memiliki kelemahan yaitu kecepatannya yang tidak bisa diatur, dan kecepatannya yang turun akibat perubahan beban. Untuk mengatasinya banyak perusahaan yang menggunakan inverter agar dapat mengatur kecepatan, serta untuk pengasutan motor agar arus yang digunakan motor tidak mengalami kenaikan yang drastis. Sistem ini dinamakan dengan VSD (Variable Speed Drive). Penggunaan VSD dapat mengurangi konsumsi listrik motor sebesar 30 - 60%. Pada inverter terdapat display yang menampilkan data seperti frekuensi yang dipakai, tegangan output motor, arus motor, dan kecepatan putar motor. Kemudian dari data tersebut bisa dipergunakan untuk menentukan besar nilai efisiensi motor.

Abstract

Kedepannya kebutuhan listrik akan semakin meningkat seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi. Penggunaan listrik merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan, baik dalam bidang penerangan, komunikasi, teknologi, maupun industri. Di bidang ketenagalistrikan, instalasi listrik merupakan rangkaian perangkat listrik yang saling berhubungan sebagai bagian energi listrik. Instalasi yang baik adalah instalasi yang aman bagi orang-orang, dan sumber listriknya tidak berbahaya dan tidak berdampak buruk bagi manusia. Jadi agar tidak terjadi hal-hal yang dapat merugikan manusia maka seorang teknisilistrik dapat memahami instalasi listrik sesuai peraturan dan teknik pemasangan sesuai PUIL. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Avometer digital didapatkan frekuensi 50,00 Hertz dengan tegangan sebesar 210 Volt. Hasil ini didapatkan setelah rangkaian yang dirancang di aliri listrik dan diukur langsung menggunakan multi meter pada stop kontak.

Abstract

Upaya penghematan energi merupakan suatu yang harus didukung oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat khususnya dimulai oleh setiap instrument dalam anggota rumah tangga. Para pengamat dan pakar energi menyatakan bahwa kontribusi sektor domestik atau rumah tangga dalam program penghematan konsumsi energi listrik cukup signifikan karena persentase jumlah pelanggan rumah tangga yang relatif tinggi. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang potensi persentase penghematan energi listrik sektor rumah tangga terhadap penghematan listrik dalam kurun waktu perhari bahkan pertahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa energi listrik yang biasa digunakan pada rumah tangga masih memiliki potensi untuk dilakukan penghematan tanpa mengurangi produktivitas dari sebuah rumah tangga. Perangkat listrik yang sering digunakan pada rumah tangga dan memiliki potensi penghematan yang besar adalah alat pendingin ruangan (AC) dan kulkas. Bila setiap pelanggan rumah tangga melakukan penghematan konsumsi energi listriknya sebesar 10%, maka pasokan listrik yang dapat dihemat adalah sekitar 6.382 watt/minggu atau sama dengan 331. 864 watt/tahun. Upaya ini tentunya akan membantu pemerintah dalam pemerataan penyaluran setiap anggota rumah tangga di seluruh Indonesia

Abstract

Public street lighting plays an important role in enhancing safety and comfort in urban areas. However, the use of conventional energy for public street lighting significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. This research aims to study the optimization of solar energy usage in public street lighting systems to reduce urban emissions. The methods used include energy efficiency analysis, case studies of solar energy-based public street lighting implementation, and environmental impact evaluation. The results of the study show that the application of solar energy technology in public street lighting can increase energy efficiency by up to 30% and reduce CO2 emissions by 25% compared to conventional systems. In the case study of public street lighting in the city of Binjai, the reduction in carbon emissions reached 99.96%. Additionally, this study also identifies key factors affecting the success of implementation, such as technical design, initial costs, and government policy support. Therefore, optimizing solar energy-based public street lighting not only has the potential to reduce negative environmental impacts but also supports sustainable urban development.

Abstract

A parking space unit is an effective square measure for placing one vehicle (passenger car, bus/truck, or motorbike). This includes free space on the left and right of the vehicle meaning that the doors can be opened for passengers to get on and off as well as certain things such as space for special wheelchairs to park vehicles for people with disabilities as well as free space at the front and back. Parking Gate Bar, or by another name barriergate, is a device for restricting entry and exit of vehicles, the function of this parking door barrier or parking barrier is to indicate that a vehicle is allowed to enter or leave the parking lot, after passing through the parking guard post. Parking door barriers are usually operated using direct DC or AC electricity. , depending on needs and the price level which is adjusted to field conditions. The speed of the parking gate opening is one of the points that determines the price for the item, because the speed of opening will affect the overall parking service cycle, if the parking gate opens faster, more vehicles will be served. , whether leaving or entering the parking area, and ultimately parking customers will be more satisfied, if this speed reduces the waiting time of parking customers.

Abstract

Technologies a power transformer is a crucial component in an electric power system that functions to change electric voltage from one level to another. Reliable transformer performance is essential to ensure the continuity of electricity supply and prevent significant losses. One phenomenon that can affect transformer reliability is Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV). This paper described the reliability of power transformer performance against the influence of TRV through simulations and experimental measurements. The research methodology includes literature review, mathematical modeling, simulation using electric power system analysis software, and laboratory testing. The research results show that TRV has a significant influence on transformer reliability, especially under conditions of major disturbances. Recommendations for mitigating the impact of TRV include the use of additional protective devices such as surge arresters and improving the quality of transformer insulation. By understanding the influence of TRV on transformer performance, it is expected to increase the reliability and operational lifespan of power transformers, as well as reduce the risk of economic losses due to transformer damage. This research makes an important contribution to the development of protection and maintenance techniques for power transformers in modern electric power systems.

Abstract

Solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that has great potential to be developed, especially in efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. Bandar Selamat Village has geographical conditions that allow the use of solar energy as an alternative energy source. This study aims to analyze the potential of solar energy in Bandar Selamat Village and evaluate its feasibility as the main energy source. The research methodology includes a collecting data on sunlight intensity, incident angle, and cloud distribution in the area. The data is analyzed to determine the potential for solar energy that can be generated. In addition, this study also evaluates the efficiency of solar panels and energy storage systems that can be used in Bandar Selamat Village. An economic analysis was conducted to examine the initial investment costs, operating costs, and long-term economic benefits of implementing Solar Power Plants (PLTS). The results of the study show that Bandar Selamat Village has significant solar energy potential with fairly high sunlight intensity throughout the year. The efficiency of the solar panels used in the simulation also showed adequate results to support local energy needs. In terms of economy, although the initial investment costs are relatively high, long-term economic benefits such as savings in electricity costs and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions can provide substantial benefits to the local community. This paper described a study concludes that solar energy has great potential to be developed as the main energy source in Bandar Selamat Village. To realize this, adequate policy support is needed, as well as increased infrastructure and public awareness of the benefits of renewable energy. Thus, Bandar Selamat Village can be an example of the implementation of sustainable clean energy at the local level.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution, the use of technology to increase safety and efficiency in various fields is increasingly growing. One important application is an automatic smoke detection system that can prevent fires effectively. This paper described an analyze the performance of an Arduino Uno-based automatic smoke detection tool which can turn the system on and off automatically. This tool is designed to detect the presence of smoke using the MQ-2 sensor and provide a response in the form of activating the alarm and fire extinguishing system.This system consists of several main components: an MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke, an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main controller, a relay module to control external devices, and a buzzer alarm as a fire indication. When the sensor detects smoke, the data is sent to the Arduino Uno which then processes the signal and activates the alarm and fire extinguishing system via the relay module, also evaluates the effectiveness and reliability of the smoke detection system by conducting a series of trials in various environmental conditions. The test results show that this tool is able to detect smoke quickly and accurately, and provide a timely response in activating the security system. The system can be set to turn devices on and off automatically, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of human error.

Abstract

The design of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control systems is a critical aspect of control engineering to achieve system stability and optimal performance. How-ever, tuning PID parameters often poses challenges due to the complex analytical ap-proaches required. This study analyzes the application of GeoGebra, a dynamic mathe-matics software, in designing PID control systems visually. GeoGebra is utilized to model control systems, visualize system responses, and perform interactive PID parameter tun-ing. The study involves simulations of simple linear systems, such as actuator position control, to evaluate the effectiveness of the GeoGebra method compared to traditional approaches. The analysis focuses on performance parameters, including rise time, peak time, and steady-state error. The results demonstrate that GeoGebra simplifies the PID parameter tuning process through intuitive visualization, enhancing concept comprehen-sion and design efficiency. Furthermore, GeoGebra proves to be an effective tool for edu-cation and training in control engineering.
