Abstract

This study aims to further examine the role of the government in providing and facilitating quality education in Indonesia. Education is a fundamental right of citizens guaranteed by the constitution, but reality shows that there are still gaps in quality and unequal access between regions. Through a Systematic Literature Review approach, this study analyses various policies, studies, and empirical reports over the past ten years. The results of the study show that in its role as a provider, the government has sought to improve the quality of education through the development of a national curriculum, teacher certification, infrastructure development, and quality assurance. Meanwhile, the government's role as a facilitator is realised through education financing programmes (BOS, KIP, LPDP), affirmation for 3T regions, digitalisation of learning, inclusive education, and cross-sector collaboration. Although these policies have shown progress, challenges such as quality disparities, limited resource distribution, and the digital divide still hinder the achievement of quality education across the board. This study emphasises that the success of education provision and facilitation will determine the emergence of competitive global human resources while ensuring social justice in education.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the love curriculum as a learning approach that places the value of love as the main foundation in shaping student character and its impact on creating harmonious relationships between educators and students. Through a literature review method, this study analyses various scientific sources that discuss the concepts, strategies, and practices of the love curriculum in education, as well as how the value of love can strengthen social and emotional interactions in the learning environment. The results of the study show that the implementation of the love curriculum is effective in shaping love-based character, which includes empathy, honesty, and a sense of social responsibility in students. In addition, the consistent application of the value of love encourages harmonious relationships that increase learning motivation, effective communication, and reduce conflict between educators and students. This study emphasises that the love curriculum is not only idealistic but also a practical strategy that is relevant to improving the quality of education, requiring a strong commitment from all education stakeholders

Abstract

Integrating nutrition education into the school curriculum is an important step in improving students‘ health and well-being. This study examines the benefits and implementation of nutrition education in schools. The results show that effective nutrition education can increase students’ knowledge of balanced nutrition, help them make better food choices, and reduce the risk of nutrition-related diseases such as obesity and diabetes. The implementation involves practical activities, such as cooking and gardening, which help students apply theory to everyday life. In addition, school policies that support healthy food can reinforce lessons taught in the classroom. Therefore, nutrition education in the school curriculum not only improves students' nutrition and health but also creates positive synergies between schools, families, and communities.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal three main aspects: (1) the difficulties experienced by students in speaking skills during Indonesian language learning in class IX D at MTs Muhammad Basiuni Imran Sambas in the 2024/2025 academic year; (2) the factors that cause these difficulties; and (3) the teacher’s strategies in overcoming students’ speaking challenges. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the main difficulty faced by students lies in limited vocabulary, which affects their ability to choose appropriate words when speaking. The contributing factors include psychological aspects, such as low self-confidence, and environmental influences, particularly the frequent use of local languages instead of Indonesian in daily communication. Teachers play a crucial role in addressing these issues by implementing a direct teaching strategy. This strategy focuses on teacher-centered learning with structured steps such as explanation, demonstration, practice, and direct feedback. Through this approach, students become more active and confident in developing their speaking skills)

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of technology and science-based education as a pillar of intellectual development in the 21st century through a literature review approach. Digital transformation has changed the paradigm of education from a conventional model to an adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable learning system. Technology not only functions as a learning tool, but also as a catalyst for the formation of a creative, critical, and innovative knowledge-based society. This study highlights how the integration of technology and science strengthens intellectual competitiveness through expanded access, personalised learning, and the strengthening of 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy. In addition, a conceptual framework for adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable learning models has been developed as a strategic solution to global challenges in modern education. The results of the study show that the successful implementation of this model depends on the readiness of human resources, digital infrastructure support, and progressive and humanistic education policies. Thus, technology- and science-based education not only improves academic quality but also shapes intellectual and social characters that are relevant to the demands of the digital age without abandoning human values

Abstract

This study examines the role of religion in shaping the identity and culture of a society, with a case study focusing on Islam as the core of Malay identity in Malaysia. Through a literature review, the study aims to analyse how Islam functions not only as a religion, but also as a constitutional, cultural and social foundation that binds Malay identity. This study examines the Malay constitutional definition that integrates Islam as a key element, as well as the influence of Islam on the customs, language, arts, and traditional practices of the Malay community. The results show that Islam plays a central role in shaping the social, cultural, and political norms of the Malay community, making Malay-Islamic identity a dynamic social construct that is resistant to the challenges of globalisation and modernisation. These findings reinforce the understanding that religion is a fundamental force in the formation of identity and preservation of Malay culture in Malaysia.
