Abstract

Educational transformation in Indonesia is a response to global dynamics, technological developments, and the demands of 21st-century competencies. This study aims to comprehensively review the national education policy landscape and analyse learning outcomes as the impact of policy implementation, using a literature review method. Data sources include academic literature, official government reports, previous research findings, and national and international education statistics. The findings indicate that policies such as the Merdeka Curriculum, education digitalisation programmes, strengthening vocational education, and improving teacher capacity have contributed positively to improving literacy, numeracy, critical thinking skills, and digital competencies among students. However, challenges such as infrastructure gaps, regional disparities in quality, and uneven teacher quality still limit the optimisation of learning outcomes. These findings underscore the need for policy continuity and consistency, strengthening access equity, aligning the curriculum with the job market, and integrating character education to ensure that educational transformation produces globally competitive generations while contributing to sustainable national development.

Abstract

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a student-centred educational approach where learners acquire knowledge and skills through in-depth investigation of complex and authentic problems or challenges. In PBL, students are actively engaged in a long-term learning process, working collaboratively to design, develop and produce real products or solutions, while integrating multiple disciplines and developing 21st century skills. The research method in this study is literature. The results showed that PBL was consistently positively correlated with increased student intrinsic motivation and academic achievement in science. However, the review also identified challenges in implementing PBL, including the need for careful planning and adequate support. Thus, PBL offers a promising approach to improving the quality of science education, with significant potential to prepare students for the real-world demands of the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing the creativity and collaborative skills of primary school pupils in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum. It employs a literature review (library research) using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that PjBL, when integrated with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum—through flexible time allocation, differentiated learning, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5)—significantly enhances pupils’ creativity across the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration of ideas. Furthermore, PjBL is also effective in developing collaborative skills through mechanisms of positive interdependence, individual accountability, and structured group reflection. Empirical evidence from various studies reports a 35–45% increase in students’ creativity and collaboration scores following the implementation of PjBL over 8–12 weeks. Although challenges such as time constraints, variations in student ability, and the complexity of assessment remain, strategic solutions including continuous teacher training, the provision of adaptive project modules, and the use of assessment technology can overcome these obstacles. It is concluded that PjBL is a relevant and evidence-based pedagogical approach for fostering the Pancasila Student Profile—creative, collaborative, and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the dynamics of moral education within the family and school amidst the pluralism of contemporary Indonesian society, focusing on whether there is synergy or conflict of values in the character formation of students. It employs a literature review (library research) using a qualitative-descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the dynamics of moral education are dialectical: on the one hand, value synergy can be achieved when families and schools build authentic collaboration through open communication, shared role modelling, coordinated value instillation, and inclusive normative agreements that result in the consistent and profound internalisation of character in children. On the other hand, value conflicts remain a significant structural challenge, stemming from a clash of paradigms between the family’s religious-traditional values and the school’s secular-universal values, generational dissonance between parents and Generation Z, as well as the influence of moral relativism from social media and globalisation, which has the potential to trigger a moral identity crisis and deviant behaviour. This study concludes that pluralism can serve as social capital or a source of moral fragmentation, depending on the institutional and cultural capacity to bridge value differences through dialogue and transformation. Strategic recommendations include the reformulation of policies supporting tripartite collaboration (family-school-community), strengthening teachers’ capacity in multicultural education, and empowering parents as strategic partners in shaping the character of a Generation Z that is adaptive yet principled.

Abstract

The transformation of human resource (HR) management in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) has become a strategic imperative for organisations seeking to maintain resilience and competitiveness amidst increasingly widespread technological disruption. This article aims to outline HR transformation strategies through the integration of three key pillars: adaptive upskilling, holistic well-being, and digital leadership. The research method employed is qualitative, utilising a literature review approach. The findings indicate that AI-based upskilling strategies enable the precise identification of competency gaps and personalised learning, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of talent development. Holistic well-being, which integrates physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial dimensions, has been proven to foster psychological safety and employees’ adaptive capacity in the face of uncertainty. Digital leadership acts as a catalyst bridging technological potential with the realisation of organisational resilience through the creation of a culture of continuous learning and ethical human-AI collaboration. The synergy of these three elements forms a virtuous cycle that continuously strengthens organisational resilience. This article concludes that organisational resilience in the AI era is no longer determined by technological infrastructure alone, but by the quality of human capital and the leadership that manages it strategically and humanely.

Abstract

The transformation of organisational communication driven by the adoption of digital technologies is bringing about major changes in the way employees interact, collaborate and work. Digital technologies such as email, video conferencing, and collaboration platforms enable greater efficiency, rapid response to change, and opportunities for innovation. Data analytics enable decision-making that is better informed by accurate information, improve communication strategies, and increase employee engagement and satisfaction. However, the adoption of digital technologies in organisational communications also presents challenges. Information overload can lead to information overload, lowering productivity and reducing the quality of communication between individuals. In addition, cybersecurity risks are increasing, requiring special attention to data and information protection. The shift to digital communication also has the potential to reduce face-to-face interactions, which can change the dynamics of interpersonal relationships in the workplace. To take full advantage of the positive impact of this transformation, organisations should develop comprehensive management strategies, provide ongoing training, and enhance digital security measures
