Abstract

Pressure adalah film eksperimental menggambarkan tentang tekananpsikologis yang dialami anak akibat ekspektasi, tuntutan, dan kontrol berlebihan dariorang tua. Dalam masyarakat yang menjunjung tinggi kesuksesan konvensional,anak kerap dijadikan proyeksi harapan tanpa memikirkan kondisi emosionalnya.Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah bagaimana pola asuh yang menekandapat menimbulkan dampak psikologis yang tersembunyi, seperti ketakutan,keterasingan, dan ketidakpercayaan diri. Tujuan film ini adalah mengedukasi danmembuka ruang refleksi tentang pentingnya empati dan komunikasi dalam keluarga.Melalui pendekatan non-naratif dan simbolis, film ini menggunakan elemen visualseperti pencahayaan kontras, warna gelap, serta pergerakan kamera yang tidakterlalu stabil untuk menggambarkan ketidakstabilan emosin anak. Audioinstrumental, suara repetitive, dan momen keheningan dipakai untuk menimbulkanketidaknyamanan yang mencerminkan kecemasan batin. Temuan umum darieksplorasi ini menunjukan bahwa tekanan dari orang tua seringkali tidak tampaksecara fisik, namun berdampak besar terhadap Kesehatan mental anak.Kesimpulannya, Pressure bukan hanya karya visual, tetapi juga media reflektif yangbermanfaat bagi orang tua, pendidik, dan masyarakat dalam memahami pentingnyamendukung perkembangan emosional anak.Kata kunci : Tekanan psikologis, pola asuh, kesehatan mental anak, filmeksperimental.

Abstract

Community service initiatives involving interactive online storytelling using Augmented Reality (AR) technology aim to provide a novel educational experience for children aged 6 to 9, particularly members of the Familia Kreativa community. Storytelling is a powerful tool for imparting moral values, fostering creativity, and promoting reading habits among children. However, contemporary delivery methods are necessary to meet the needs of today's generation. AR technology was selected for its capacity to deliver interactive and immersive three-dimensional visual elements, which enhance participant engagement. This program comprised four phases: preparation, development of storytelling materials and modules, implementation of two online storytelling sessions, and evaluation. During the sessions, participants used smart devices to scan worksheets, which revealed AR features and objects. This activity involved direct interaction between participants and the storyteller through questions, answers, and visual exploration. The results indicate that AR technology improves participants' focus, interaction, and comprehension of the narratives. Children demonstrated better recall of story elements, while parents noted that this approach effectively reduced boredom and enhanced the learning experience. AR technology shows substantial potential for fostering creative learning and visual literacy in early childhood. Its use in this initiative aligns with the goals of quality education under SDG 4 and creates opportunities for technical innovation in the broader context of early childhood education development.

Abstract

Construction of Masculinity in The Movie Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash.This study examines the construction of masculinity in the 2021 film “Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas” (Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash), focusing on the use of cinematographic and mise-en-scene elements to represent fragile masculinity. The film follows Ajo Kawir, a man grappling with childhood trauma that disrupts his sense of masculinity, particularly in terms of sexuality and emotion. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method by analyzing eight selected scenes that reflect aspects of masculinity. The theoretical framework includes cinematography, mise-en-scene, and masculinity theories such as hegemonic masculinity and toxic masculinity. The findings reveal that the film portrays masculinity not only through physical strength but also through vulnerability, especially in confronting sexual crises and emotional conflict. The use of color, lighting, framing, and costume enhances the masculine identity and inner turmoil of the characters. Moreover, the film presents an unconventional gender dynamic, particularly through the character Iteung, who displays strength and dominance, thereby reshaping the power relations between men and women. This analysis offers new insights into the construction of masculinity in Indonesian cinema, emphasizing the role of visual elements in shaping social meaning and masculine identity.
