Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision in encouraging the optimization of digital learning platforms in elementary schools. The research was conducted at SDN 001/V Kuala Tungkal using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that well-planned, collaborative, and continuous academic supervision plays a significant role in improving teachers’ competence in utilizing digital learning platforms. Through academic supervision, teachers receive guidance in planning, implementing, and evaluating digital-based learning, so that the use of digital learning platforms is not merely technical but also pedagogical. Academic supervision also encourages teachers to become more reflective and innovative in developing interactive learning activities that are appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjenis formatif. Data-data tersebut dikelompokkan berdasarkan jenisnya yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi-deskripsi yang didapatkan melalui lembar validasi ahli yang berisi kritik, tanggapan, saran dan masukkan. Data kuantitatif berupa angka-angka yang didapatkan melalui angket validator bahasa, dan angket respon guru serta respon siswa. E-Book Media Photovoice berbasis Canva untuk pembelajaran jarak dekat dan jauh pada tema 4 subtema 3 pembelajaran 1 di kelas IV sekolah dasar ini dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE. Model ADDIE merupakan salah satu model desain pembelajaran yang membuat situasi pemebajaran berbasis peserta didik, inovatif, autentik dan menginspiratif. Tahapan model ADDIE terdiri dari Analysis, desain, development, implementation, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-Book Media Photovoice berbasis Canva untuk pembelajaran jarak dekat dan jauh pada tema 4 subtema 3 pembelajaran 1 di kelas IV sekolah dasar tingkat kevalidan yang diperoleh dari validator bahasa yaitu 4,22 termasuk kategori sangat layak dengan presentase 84,4%. Selanjutnya dari validator media yaitu 4 termasuk kategori layak dengan presentase 80%. Validator ahli praktisi guru diperoleh nilai 4,6 termasuk kategori sangat praktis dengan presentase 92%. Pada hasil angket respon siswa diperolah kategori sangat praktis dengan 93%.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools plays a strategic role in developing scientific thinking, critical attitudes, and life skills from an early age. However, science instruction in elementary education is still often dominated by conventional approaches focused on memorization of concepts. This article aims to comprehensively examine the transformation of science learning through innovative learning approaches and models, namely inquiry learning, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), cooperative learning, and the STEM approach, in fostering 21st-century skills. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing textbooks and relevant scientific sources related to elementary science education. The results indicate that innovative learning models effectively enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Therefore, transforming science learning through innovative approaches is essential to improving learning quality and aligning elementary education with the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

Guru tidak menggunakan media hanya menggunakan buku teks, lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah, tidak ada tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok, serta terjadi pembelajaran satu arah, karena siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru. Akibatnya proses pembelajaran demikian, siswa dalam kelas tidak aktif, tidak fokus menerima materi, saling mengganggu dan bercerita dengan siswa lainnya. Kurangnya keaktifan siswa ini berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa belum tuntas karena tidak mencapai KKTP. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media entrik terhadap hasil belajar IPAS kelas V SDK Nita 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest, nilai mínimum yang diperoleh yaitu 45, nilai maksimum 75 dengan rata-rata nilai 67 dan standar deviasi 7.43148. Sementara pada hasil posttest, nilai mínimum yang diperoleh yaitu 70, nilai maksimum 90 dengan rata-rata nilai 85 dan standar deviasi 2.343759. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai sig adalah 0,153. Data ini menunjukkan nilai normalitas memenuhi sebaran sebaran normal karena Asymp. Sig (2 tailled) > 0,05. Hasil uji hipótesis dengan menggunakan uji t diketahui nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video entrik terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDK Nita 1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Creative Learning di kelas VIII.D SMP Negeri 37 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket minat belajar, dan tes evaluasi hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Creative Learning mampu meningkatkan minat dan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik secara bertahap. Pada tahap pra siklus, ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebesar 33,33%. Setelah penerapan model Creative Learning pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 52,78%, dan pada siklus II meningkat secara signifikan menjadi 86,11%, sehingga telah melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan sekolah, yaitu 84. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model Creative Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya keaktifan, partisipasi, dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Creative Learning dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the principal's instructional leadership strategy in improving academic quality in schools based on special programs. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method at SMP Muhammadiyah Program Khusus. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the instructional leadership strategy was carried out through three main pillars: (1) formulating a specific academic mission and vision by setting special program achievement indicators; (2) implementing academic supervision based on clinical mentoring to improve teachers' pedagogical competence; and (3) creating a conducive learning climate through the integration of technology and a culture of achievement. These findings indicate that the success of improving academic quality highly depends on the principal's ability to synergize national curriculum standards with the school's flagship programs. This research provides a theoretical contribution to instructional leadership models in faith-based private schools.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop the PUPINTAR (Pop-up Pintar) instructional media, which presents learning materials on Indonesia’s cultural diversity for fourth-grade students. The development process adopted the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study involved a sample of 36 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests, and were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The mean feasibility rating provided by expert validators was 95%, falling into the “Highly Feasible” category. The practicality of the PUPINTAR media was rated as “Highly Practical,” with teacher responses scoring 97.6% and student responses 90.5%. Effectiveness testing using the N-Gain method resulted in a “Moderate” classification, with an average score of 0.65 and a percentage score of 65%, categorized as “Fairly Effective”.

Abstract

The scientific literacy skills of fifth-grade elementary school students at SDN Mekarmukti 01 are still relatively low due to the lack of engaging and interactive learning media. This study aims to develop an EBIPAS learning media (E-Book IPAS) to improve the scientific literacy of fifth-grade students at SDN Mekarmukti 01. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation was carried out by media experts with a 100% score, language experts with a 97% score, and material experts with a 98% score, indicating that the EBIPAS media (E-Book IPAS) was highly suitable for use. Effectiveness testing showed a "moderate" increase in students' scientific literacy with an N-Gain value of 0.6. The trial results indicate that the use of this media is effective in improving students' scientific literacy skills regarding the material taught.

Abstract

Social studies learning in elementary schools often faces obstacles because the material tends to be more complex and abstract, making it difficult for students to understand the abstract process of photosynthesis and the use of conventional learning methods that do not actively involve students. This also occurs in fifth- grade students who do not yet understand the overall concept of photosynthesis. This study aims to improve the understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukaraja 2 of photosynthesis material through the use of interactive animated video- based learning media combined with simple experimental methods, particularly in the process of photosynthesis. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle covering the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 29 fifth-grade students at SDN Sukaraja 2. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests and observation of student activities during the learning process. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation of student activities during the learning process, and documentation. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 27.5%. This had a positive effect on student understanding in each cycle, as indicated by increased learning outcomes and student activity in participating in learning. In cycle II, most students achieved scores above the Minimum Passing Grade (MPG) of 75. Thus, the use of interactive animated videos and simple experiments proved to be effective in improving students' understanding of photosynthesis, especially the process of photosynthesis, and can be used as an alternative learning medium to improve and refine the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze various forms of innovation consequences experienced by PGMI students after compiling a set of 3D block-based mathematics teaching materials using the Rogers innovation consequence theory framework. The consequences studied include anticipated and unanticipated consequences, desirable and undesirable consequences, direct and indirect consequences, increase and decrease equality consequences, as well as stable equilibrium, dynamic equilibrium, and disequilibrium Consequences. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire contains 28 statements developed based on eleven categories of innovation consequences and filled in by 33 students in the third semester of the PGMI Study Program who have participated in the preparation of 3D block teaching materials. The results of the study show that the majority of students experience positive innovation consequences, especially in the aspects of anticipated, desirable, direct, indirect, and stable and dynamic equilibrium consequences. The innovation of 3D blocks contributes to increasing the understanding of geometry concepts, active engagement, high-level thinking skills, and students' adaptive and reflective attitudes in learning. However, this study also found unanticipated and undesirable consequences in the form of technical constraints and time constraints. Overall, the findings of the study show that students experience a diverse process of innovation adaptation, which not only strengthens pedagogical and professional competence as prospective Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers but also trains problem-solving skills in facing the challenges of implementing innovative learning.
