Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Metro pada mata Pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan perbedaan model problem-based learning berbasis media mystery box terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 107 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 54 peserta didik yang terdiri dari kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan V B sebagai kelas kontrol, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan pada penggunaan model problem-based learning berbasis media mystery box terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Metro. The problem in this study was the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Metro in IPAS lessons. This study aims to determine the effect and difference of the mystery box-based problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students. The data collection techniques used were tests and non-tests. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of 107 students, and the sample used was 54 students consisting of class V A as the experimental class and V B as the control class. The sample was determined using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and t-tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect and difference in the use of the mystery box media-based problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Metro.

Abstract

Abstrak . Penelitian ini menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis aksara Jawa siswa kelas V SDN 01 Plesungan tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas PTK. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini memiliki tiga siklus dengan dua kali pertemuan pembelajaran setiap siklusnya. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas V SDN 01 Plesungan dan instruktur. Observasi, wawancara, ujian, dan analisis dokumen untuk penelitian. Triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk menguji keabsahan data. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaksi Miles dan Huberman dan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Penelitian dengan menggunakan tes kinerja keterampilan menulis aksara Jawa menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal siswa adalah 12,5% pada pra-siklus, 31,25% pada siklus pertama, 62,5% pada siklus kedua, dan 93,75% pada siklus ketiga. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva meningkatkan kemampuan menulis aksara Jawa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of enjoyable activity-based final semester summative assessments at RA Nailul Huda, which includes the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research subjects consisted of the head of RA, classroom teachers, parents, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, while data analysis referred to the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that assessment planning was carried out systematically by determining aspects of child development, designing play activities, developing authentic assessment instruments, and arranging child-friendly time and facilities. The assessment was carried out in a variety of fun and flexible play activities so that children could demonstrate their abilities naturally without pressure. Evaluation and follow-up were carried out through comprehensive processing of child development data, narrative reporting to parents, teacher reflection, and adjustment of learning according to children's needs. This study concluded that summative assessment based on enjoyable activities can be an effective strategy in supporting holistic, meaningful assessment that is in line with the characteristics of early childhood education

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the significant effect of the Problem Based Learning model based on differentiated instruction on students' curiosity in the topic of biodiversity. A quantitative approach with an experimental method was employed. The research design used was a pretest posttest control group design. Data were collected using a curiosity questionnaire administered before and after the treatment. The sample was selected using a probability sampling technique with the cluster random sampling method. The implementation of the Problem Based Learning  model, adapted through differentiated instruction strategies based on students’ learning styles, specifically enhanced curiosity particularly among students with a visual learning style, who achieved the highest curiosity score of 83.4%. The results of the independent samples t-test showed a significance value of less than 0.001, indicating a statistically significant effect. These findings indicate that the integration of the PBL model based on differentiated instruction in the biodiversity topic has a positive and significant impact on students’ curiosity.

Abstract

The increasing number of mental health problems among students requires the implementation of guidance and counseling (BK) programs that are managed systematically and sustainably. BK program management plays an important role in ensuring the effectiveness of services and supporting optimal student development. This study aims to analyze the management of the implementation of the guidance and counseling program, the evaluation process and managerial improvements, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at MA Rohmatullah Cokro Magelang. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving the principal and guidance and counseling teachers. Data analysis was carried out interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity testing using triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the management of the BK program has been implemented in a structured manner through the stages of needs analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The program is designed based on student needs with a holistic approach oriented towards personal, social, learning, and career development. Program evaluations are conducted periodically and followed up to improve service quality. Supporting factors include the commitment of madrasah leaders, the competence of guidance and counseling teachers, and support for infrastructure, while inhibiting factors include limited service time and the ratio of guidance and counseling teachers to the number of students.

Abstract

This research was conducted in grade IV SDN 03 Sroyo, which aims to describe the errors in the use of affixes (prefixes, infixes, suffixes and confixes) of students in writing narrative essays of grade IV SDN 03 Sroyo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data obtained from documents in the form of narrative essays of students and informants. Research data collection through document analysis and interviews with students and teachers. The data validity test used in this study is technical triangulation and sources. This study involves interactive data analysis in analyzing data by Miles and Huberman. The results of document analysis research from 18 narrative essays of students show that of the 455 uses of affixes including 264 prefixes, 75 suffixes, 116 confixes and infix types were not found in narrative essays. Of the 455 uses of affixes there were 124 (27.3%) errors in the use of affixes. The most common types of errors were in prefixes as many as 79 (17.4%), errors in suffixes as many as 14 (3.1%), errors in confixes as many as 31 (6.8%) and errors in infixes were not found. The results of the interview showed that the learning carried out by the teacher regarding affixes (affixes) had been carried out well starting from planning and implementation. The results of interviews with students revealed that there were difficulties in implementing affix material (affixes) in writing narrative essays. The conclusion of this study is to explain errors in the use of affixes in students' narrative essays. The difficulty of class IV students in using affixes in narrative essays is because students do not fully understand the concept of affixes, they are confused when writing affixes in constructing sentences to form narrative essays, students are too focused on expressing story ideas so they don't pay attention to the use of affixes. This results in errors in the use of affixes in narrative essays.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the use of the CIRC model assisted by animated wayang in learning to write stories and the writing skills of students in writing stories with the CIRC model assisted by animated wayang. The research approach used in this research is a case study which is included in qualitative research. This research uses data sources namely teachers and students of grade V of SD Negeri Glawan along with the learning process and documents. This research uses a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity test technique used in this research is triangulation technique and time triangulation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusing drawing/verification. The result of this study is, first that the use of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) model assisted by animated wayang in learning to write stories of fifth grade students of Glawan State Elementary School was carried out in accordance with the CIRC model syntax, and the story writing learning process ran smoothly. Second, the story writing skills of fifth-grade students at Glawan Public Elementary School who used the CIRC model assisted by animated wayang in story writing lessons showed that 72% of students were in the excellent category based on an analysis of their work. It was also found that the results of students' work in writing stories in groups.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how teachers adapt to implementing Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in fourth grade, in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. This curriculum integrates Science and Social Studies subjects. The adaptation covers graduate competency standards, content standards, process standards, and assessment standards. A qualitative narrative inquiry approach was employed in this study, conducted in three elementary schools in Wonogiri District. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, framed within a conceptual framework based on teacher adaptation. The findings reveal a shift in teachers' thinking and actions in implementing the four aspects of the Merdeka Curriculum's National Education Standards and in conducting IPAS learning aligned with existing standards and policies. Teachers adhere to government guidelines and regulations while demonstrating creativity by combining various approaches and models relevant to the topic and material. Despite progress, challenges remain, such as insufficient attention to students' interests and learning styles in differentiated instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of local wisdom in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as an effort to form civic disposition of Grade V Students of SD Negeri 1 Sewurejo and describe the values of civic disposition of Grade V Students of SD Negeri 1 Sewurejo in the implementation of local wisdom in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This study uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this study is the case study method. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and document studies. The subjects in this study were educators and grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Sewurejo. The results show that the implementation of P5 consists of the introduction, implementation, and celebration stages with the civic disposition formed being private characters in the form of responsibility, empathy, and optimism, as well as public characters in the form of democratic abilities, social care, and environmental care. The implementation of the "Local Wisdom" theme in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SD Negeri 1 Sewurejo can be said to have succeeded in integrating local cultural values in the context of learning that is oriented towards strengthening civic disposition.

Abstract

The researcher applied a quantitative approach with a correlational design to see the relationship between reading interest and mastery of diction on reading comprehension skills. The sampling technique was probability sampling with the cluster random sampling method. Data were collected through reading comprehension and diction mastery skills tests and reading interest questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis techniques include average, maximum, minimum, mean, median, mode, variance, and standard deviation. Statistical analysis techniques include swimmer test analysis, simple analysis, and multiple analysis. Based on the calculation results, the results for the correlation of reading interest and mastery of diction on reading comprehension skills were obtained with a Sig. value of 0.000 and a Pearson correlation value of 0.910, which means there is a positive and significant relationship.Kata kunci: Correlation, reading interest, mastery of diction, reading comprehension skills, elementary school .
