Abstract

Sukabumi City is famous for MSMEs that make ginger candy.   This MSME is located in RW 18, Cisarua Village, Sukabumi City. They have land for ginger plants but the ginger plants can only be harvested after they are 9 months old. The problem faced by PP is that PKK women, youth groups and ginger cultivators have not been able to process food and drinks made from ginger optimally. The main products of this village are currently only ginger candy and several processed ginger derivative products which are only in the trial stage. Training on processing food and drinks made from emprit ginger is a community service activity aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of the PKK group, Karangtaruna, and ginger plant cultivators in Cisarua Village, Sukabumi City.   Emprit ginger, chosen as the main ingredient, has high nutritional value and health benefits. This training is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and improve community welfare. It is hoped that processed food and beverage products made from ginger can become a mainstay of village products. This community service method uses lecture methods, practical demonstrations of making processed foods and drinks made from ginger and interviews. With this combination of qualitative methods, it is hoped that the training results will be maximized. The final result of the training was that PKK women, Karangtaruna and ginger cultivators were able to process ginger into various foods and drinks with high taste for sale and marketing. Abstract

Sibetan Village agrotourism has been open since 2003, but the hope is that tourists coming to Sibetan Village can increase the selling power of salak. In fact, tourists who visit agrotourism are not yet optimal consumers of the salak produced in Sibetan Village, so the salak produced during the main harvest cannot yet be fully marketed. . This condition requires assistance to groups in supporting agrotourism, especially strengthening human resources in Sibetan Village. The service was carried out in Sibetan Village, Banyakdem District, Karangasem Regency. Service is carried out using several methods, namely: Socialization, Training, Mentoring, Evaluation, Follow-up. The service involves 5 groups engaged in the production and marketing of salak fruit in Sibetan Village, these groups include: Dukuh Lestari Group, Kerta Semaya Group, Werdi Guna, Mekar Sari. The total number of group members is 118 people. The service activities showed that there was a change in the knowledge of group members in the field of marketing salak fruit, packaging and hygiene of products marketed in agro-tourism areas. Assistance provided to farmer groups in Sibetan Village shows that there has been a change in the group's skills in marketing products using online media, packaging salak and product hygiene reaching 80%. This is due to several obstacles faced by group members, such as their weak mastery of technology in using Android. There are not many properties for packaging snake fruit in Sibetan Village, and product hygiene is not commonly carried out during the snake fruit harvesting process. So further assistance is needed to overcome the obstacles faced by the group.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bivalves and gastropods are two classes in the mollusk phylum which have the largest number of species compared to other classes. Organisms in this class are protected by a thick coat called a shell made from CaCo3 (calcium carbonate). The flesh of these organisms is used as food, while the shells are thrown away and sometimes not used, until they accumulate and become waste. Processing of shell waste has been carried out to fulfill various people's lives, including in the pharmaceutical, food industry, agriculture and craft industries. Handicrafts utilize various shell shapes with beautiful colors to produce several valuable products. This activity was carried out to guide and improve the skills of female fishermen in making handicrafts made from shell shells. This community service activity was carried out in Ranooha Raya Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency, and involved a partner group, namely a group of fishermen women who were still productive. The results of the service activities are handicrafts in the form of women's accessories such as brooches, key chains and bracelets. Keywords: Handycraft, shellfish waste, Ranooha Raya Village.

Abstract

This community service promotes a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to modern fisheries, benefiting the surrounding community's economy. Probiotic technology applied for cultivating duck groupers in floating net cages at Sari Ringgung Beach, Hanura Village, Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran. Utilizing probiotics in floating net cages enables fish growth to 3x3x3 m in size, with each cage holding a maximum of 300 fish. The average weight of the harvested fish is 400-500 grams, resulting in a total production of 150 kilograms of fish. The activity collaborated with lecturers from the Program Study of Marine Science, Aquaculture, and Agricultural Product Technology, involving students of the Program Study of Marine Science, and partners of the Bina Usaha II fish farmer group in Ringgung Village.  The partners' contribution was to prepare a place for training and manufacturing practices. Activities that the team has carried out include giving pretest and posttest questionnaires, coordinating with partners for tools and materials, and applying probiotics to fish. Thus, duck grouper farmers who use probiotics in floating net cages can minimize the operational costs of cage maintenance and increase survival rates. The application of the technology is supported by the optimization of the aquaculture process so that the production and marketing activities of the products can be increased.
