Abstract

Permasalahan bullying di sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan serius yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan iklim belajar siswa. Kurangnya pemahaman guru dan siswa terhadap aspek hukum membuat penanganan kasus sering tidak efektif. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar digital bermuatan literasi hukum untuk memitigasi bullying di SDN 6 Langkai Kota Palangka Raya. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui lima tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar digital, penerapan di kelas, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta penguatan keberlanjutan program di sekolah. Instrumen evaluasi dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan lembar observasi dan angket kemudian analisis dilakukan adalah analisis statistik sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru tentang literasi hukum (dari 33,3% menjadi 100%) dan kemampuan membuat media digital interaktif (dari 16,7% menjadi 94,4%). Selain itu, terjadi penurunan kasus bullying hingga 60% dalam satu semester serta peningkatan partisipasi siswa sebagai agen perubahan anti-bullying. Hasil ini menunjukkan dampak awal yang signifikan, meskipun evaluasi jangka panjang masih dibutuhkan untuk menilai keberlanjutan pengaruh program secara menyeluruh. Training on Developing Digital Teaching Materials Incorporating Legal Literacy for Mitigating Bullying in Elementary Schools in Palangka Raya Abstract Bullying in elementary schools remains a serious challenge, impacting students' psychological well-being and learning environment. Teachers' and students' lack of understanding of legal aspects often makes case handling ineffective. This program aims to improve teachers' capacity in developing digital teaching materials containing legal literacy to mitigate bullying at SDN 6 Langkai, Palangka Raya City. The program is carried out in five stages: outreach, training in creating digital teaching materials, classroom implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and strengthening the program's sustainability in schools. The evaluation instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires, followed by simple statistical analysis. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of legal literacy (from 33.3% to 100%) and their ability to create interactive digital media (from 16.7% to 94.4%). Furthermore, there was a 60% decrease in bullying cases within one semester, as well as an increase in student participation as anti-bullying change agents. These results indicate a significant initial impact, although long-term evaluation is still needed to assess the program's overall sustainability.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pemasaran produk Dodol Bhuana Sari sebagai makanan khas Desa Selat, Karangasem, melalui penerapan strategi digital branding. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah sistem pemasaran yang masih konvensional, belum adanya identitas merek yang kuat, serta keterbatasan pemanfaatan media digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, dan pelaku usaha melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan logo dan label kemasan, pelatihan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial, Google My Business, dan website, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis catatan penjualan untuk memastikan validitas hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan permintaan produk dari 100 kg menjadi 280 kg dalam dua bulan kegiatan serta peningkatan kemampuan mitra dalam pengelolaan promosi digital. Temuan awal menunjukkan adanya dampak positif terhadap kapasitas promosi dan permintaan produk, meskipun evaluasi lanjutan dibutuhkan untuk mengukur dampak jangka panjang. Digital Branding to Strengthen the Marketing of Selat Village’s Traditional Dodol as Balinese Local Wisdom Abstract This community service activity aims to strengthen the marketing capacity of Dodol Bhuana Sari products as a typical food of Selat Village, Karangasem, through the implementation of digital branding strategies. The main problems faced by partners are the marketing system which is still conventional, the absence of a strong brand identity, and the limited use of digital media. The activity was carried out using a participatory method involving lecturers, students, and business actors through stages of socialization, logo and packaging label creation training, digital marketing training through social media, Google My Business, and websites, as well as mentoring and evaluation. Evaluation is conducted through observation, interviews, and analysis of sales records to ensure the validity of the results. The results of the activity showed an increase in product demand from 100 kg to 280 kg in two months of activity as well as an increase in partners' capabilities in managing digital promotions. Initial findings indicate a positive impact on promotional capacity and product demand, although further evaluation is needed to measure the long-term impact.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan berita berbasis bahasa jurnalistik bagi anggota Komunitas Broadcasting Libel (KBL) SMA Negeri 15 Garut dirancang untuk memperkuat literasi digital, keterampilan menulis berita, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di era banjir informasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 14 Agustus 2025 melalui tiga sesi utama: pengenalan konsep jurnalistik, praktik menulis berita dan feature, serta evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 20 siswa mengikuti pelatihan dan dievaluasi melalui enam butir pertanyaan jurnalistik dasar. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa hanya 10% siswa memiliki pemahaman baik, 25% kategori cukup, dan 65% kategori kurang, dengan rata-rata akurasi 50%. Setelah pelatihan, hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: 50% siswa berkategori baik, 30% cukup, dan hanya 20% kurang, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 91,67%. Peningkatan sebesar 41,67% tersebut memperlihatkan efektivitas pendekatan workshop partisipatif yang mengintegrasikan ceramah interaktif, simulasi penulisan, diskusi, serta evaluasi digital melalui Zep Quis dan Google Form. Produk tulisan siswa memperlihatkan capaian positif dalam menyusun struktur berita berbasis 5W+1H, penggunaan piramida terbalik, serta penerapan bahasa jurnalistik yang ringkas dan objektif. Secara keseluruhan, program ini terbukti mampu memperkuat literasi jurnalistik dan literasi digital siswa serta dapat direplikasi sebagai model pembelajaran berbasis praktik di sekolah menengah. News Writing Training on Social Media for Members of the Broadcasting Libel Community of SMA Negeri 15 Garut Abstract This training program on news writing using journalistic language for members of the Broadcasting Libel Community (KBL) of SMA Negeri 15 Garut was designed to enhance students’ digital literacy, news-writing skills, and critical thinking abilities in an era dominated by information overload. Conducted on August 14, 2025, the workshop consisted of three main sessions: introduction to journalism concepts, practical news and feature writing, and assessment through pre- and post-tests. A total of 20 students participated and were evaluated using six basic journalism questions. The pre-test results revealed that only 10% of students demonstrated good understanding, 25% moderate, and 65% low, with an average accuracy of 50%. Following the training, the post-test results showed a substantial improvement: 50% of students achieved a good level, 30% moderate, and only 20% remained low, with the average score increasing to 91.67%. This 41.67% gain reflects the effectiveness of a participatory workshop model integrating interactive lectures, writing simulations, discussions, and digital assessments through Zep Quis and Google Form. Students’ written products further indicated mastery of news elements such as 5W+1H, inverted pyramid structure, and concise journalistic language. Overall, the program successfully strengthened students’ journalistic and digital literacy skills and offers a replicable model for practice-based journalism education in secondary schools.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian ekonomi anggota Gapoktan Jalijaya Talang Jali, Lampung Utara melalui penerapan teknologi mesin produksi asap cair dan penguatan pemasaran. Mitra menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan kemampuan teknis dalam mengolah limbah pertanian, rendahnya efisiensi produksi asap cair secara manual, serta minimnya strategi pemasaran yang berkelanjutan. Permasalahan tersebut menyebabkan produk tidak memiliki daya saing dan belum memberikan peningkatan pendapatan bagi anggota Gapoktan. Pemecahan masalah dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif, mencakup: (1) pembuatan dan instalasi mesin produksi asap cair, (2) pendampingan standarisasi mutu, pengemasan, dan labeling, (3) pelatihan pemasaran dan branding lokal, serta (4) monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap peningkatan kapasitas produksi dan penjualan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek teknis dan ekonomi. Kapasitas produksi meningkat dari 0 liter menjadi rata-rata 6–10 liter per produksi. Penggunaan asap cair menurunkan biaya pengendalian hama hingga 54%, mengurangi intensitas serangan hama dari 35% menjadi 18%, dan meningkatkan hasil gabah sebesar 1.130 kg/ha. Secara jangka panjang, program ini memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi Gapoktan melalui terbentuknya unit usaha berbasis pengelolaan limbah, peningkatan daya tawar produk lokal, serta peluang diversifikasi usaha berbasis teknologi pirolisis. Program ini juga mendorong praktik pengelolaan limbah yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi langsung pada pencapaian SDG 8 (pertumbuhan ekonomi), SDG 9 (inovasi teknologi), dan SDG 12 (produksi berkelanjutan), serta menunjukkan bahwa teknologi asap cair efektif, berkelanjutan, dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain. Empowering Rural Communities Through Liquid Smoke Production Technology and Marketing Enhancement in Gapoktan Jalijaya Talang Jali, North Lampung Abstract This community service program aims to enhance the capacity and economic independence of members of the Jalijaya Talang Jali Farmers’ Group Association (Gapoktan) in North Lampung through the application of liquid smoke production technology and strengthened marketing strategies. The partners face several challenges, including limited technical skills in processing agricultural waste into value-added products, low efficiency in manual liquid smoke production, and the absence of effective and sustainable marketing strategies. These issues reduce product competitiveness and have not contributed to increased income for Gapoktan members. Problem-solving efforts were carried out through a participatory and applicative approach, consisting of: (1) designing and installing a liquid smoke production machine, (2) assisting in quality standardization, packaging, and labeling, (3) training in marketing and local branding, and (4) monitoring and evaluating improvements in production capacity and sales. The results show significant improvements in both technical and economic aspects. Production capacity increased from 0 liters to an average of 6–10 liters per cycle. The use of liquid smoke reduced pest control costs by up to 54%, lowered pest attack intensity from 35% to 18%, and increased rice yield by 1,130 kg/ha. In the long term, the program strengthens Gapoktan’s economic independence through the establishment of a waste-based business unit, improved product competitiveness, and new opportunities for business diversification using pyrolysis technology. It also encourages more environmentally friendly waste management practices. This program directly contributes to achieving SDG 8 (economic growth), SDG 9 (innovation and infrastructure), and SDG 12 (responsible production), demonstrating that liquid smoke technology is effective, sustainable, and replicable in other regions.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat budaya sekolah positif melalui pencegahan bullying dan peningkatan literasi digital di SD Negeri 137958 Kota Tanjungbalai. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan guru dan siswa, implementasi sistem pelaporan bullying berbasis QR Code, serta pendampingan penggunaan media digital seperti Canva dan Quizizz. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa mengenai bullying (25% menjadi 85%) dan peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital guru (21% menjadi 71%). Dampak langsung program terlihat dari perubahan perilaku siswa yang lebih aktif melaporkan kasus bullying melalui QR Code dan meningkatnya keberanian mereka menegur tindakan perundungan di lingkungan sekolah. Guru juga menunjukkan perubahan kebiasaan dengan semakin rutin mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan membuat materi ajar digital secara mandiri. Selain dampak jangka pendek, program ini menghasilkan perubahan perilaku berkelanjutan. Penurunan kasus bullying sebesar 67% dalam tiga bulan menunjukkan efektivitas implementasi sistem pelaporan digital dan keberhasilan pembentukan Tim Anti-Bullying di sekolah. Tindak lanjut dilakukan melalui pemantauan bulanan, pembaruan materi digital oleh guru, dan peningkatan komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak terkait isu bullying dan etika digital. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan, tetapi juga membentuk rutinitas baru dalam pencegahan bullying dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Enhancing a Positive and Inclusive School Culture through Bullying Prevention and Digital Literacy Development at SD Negeri 137958 Kota Tanjungbalai Abstract This community engagement program aims to strengthen a positive and inclusive school culture through anti-bullying prevention and digital literacy enhancement at SD Negeri 137958 Kota Tanjungbalai. The activities consisted of awareness campaigns, training sessions for teachers and students, the implementation of a QR Code–based bullying reporting system, and mentoring for the use of digital learning tools such as Canva and Quizizz. Pre-test and post-test results indicate substantial improvements in students’ understanding of bullying (from 25% to 85%) and teachers’ digital literacy skills (from 21% to 71%). Immediate impacts were observed through behavioral changes, with students becoming more proactive in reporting bullying incidents and demonstrating greater confidence in addressing inappropriate peer behavior. Teachers also showed significant changes in practice, regularly integrating digital media into classroom instruction and independently creating interactive learning materials. Beyond the short-term outcomes, the program generated sustainable behavioral changes. A 67% decrease in bullying cases within three months demonstrates the effectiveness of the digital reporting system and the establishment of the School Anti-Bullying Team. Follow-up actions included monthly monitoring, continuous development of digital learning materials by teachers, and strengthened communication between parents and children regarding bullying and digital ethics. Thus, the program not only improved knowledge but also fostered long-term routines in bullying prevention and the sustainable use of educational technology.

Abstract

Anemia pada remaja putri masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang berdampak terhadap kualitas generasi mendatang dan berpotensi meningkatkan risiko stunting pada anak di masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku remaja putri dalam pencegahan anemia melalui pendekatan holistik yang mencakup aspek biomedik, sosial, dan intervensi gizi di SMPN 2 Singosari, Malang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui skrining kadar hemoglobin, penyuluhan kesehatan reproduksi, edukasi pentingnya konsumsi tablet tambah darah, serta pelatihan penyusunan menu bergizi seimbang berbasis bahan pangan lokal. Pendekatan sosial melibatkan guru, orang tua, serta kader kesehatan sebagai agen perubahan dalam mendukung keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 82%, peningkatan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah dari 40% menjadi 75%, serta peningkatan kadar hemoglobin rata-rata dari 11,2 g/dL menjadi 12,4 g/dL. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kegiatan gizi meningkat signifikan. Selain menghasilkan perubahan jangka pendek, program ini berpotensi mendorong perilaku sehat yang berkelanjutan melalui keterlibatan komunitas dan pemantauan rutin oleh sekolah serta kader kesehatan. Keberlanjutan program ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penurunan risiko stunting di masa mendatang dan menjadi model intervensi terpadu bagi sekolah lain. A Holistic Strategy for Managing Anemia Among Adolescent Girls to Prevent Intergenerational Stunting in Junior High School 2 Singosari, Malang Abstract Anemia in adolescent girls is still a health problem that has an impact on the quality of future generations and has the potential to increase the risk of stunting in children in the future. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of adolescent girls in the prevention of anemia through a holistic approach that includes biomedical, social, and nutritional intervention aspects at SMPN 2 Singosari, Malang. Activities were carried out through hemoglobin level screening, reproductive health counseling, education on the importance of consuming blood-boosting tablets, and training on preparing balanced nutritious menus based on local food. The social approach involves teachers, parents, and health cadres as agents of change in supporting the sustainability of the program. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 82%, an increase in adherence to blood supplement consumption from 40% to 75%, and an increase in average hemoglobin levels from 11.2 g/dL to 12.4 g/dL. In addition, the active participation of the community in nutrition activities has increased significantly. In addition to generating short-term change, the program has the potential to encourage sustainable healthy behaviors through community engagement and regular monitoring by schools and health cadres. The sustainability of this program is expected to contribute to reducing the risk of stunting in the future and become a model of integrated intervention for other schools.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mendalam menjadi konsentrasi utama di sekolah saat ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan terhadap 40 guru LP Ma’arif Kota Malang yang terdiri dari 22 sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode CBR (Community-Based Research). CBR merupakan pendekatan kolaboratif untuk menjawab kebutuhan melalui metode ilmiah yang inklusif, partisipatif, serta transformatif. Pengukuran peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran mendalam dilaksanakan di awal sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan melalui kuesioner dengan aspek pemahaman pembelajaran, penilaian, dan pemanfatan media dalam pembelajaran. Analisis dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan guru menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dengan aspek media pembelajaran 86.67% menjadi 88.33%, aspek asesmen 77.33% menjadi 83.89%, serta aspek pembelajaran 64.44% menjadi 80.67%. Hasil ini sejalan dengan perubahan proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung pada saat observasi pasca pelatihan. Guru lebih siap dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mendalam, mulai dari perangkat pembelajaran serta terlihat proses berlangsung sesuai kereangka kerja pembelajaran mendalam meskipun belum 100%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan efektif dan diharapkan dapat dilaksankaan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan semacam ini perlu dilakukan dan direncanakan dengan berkolaborasi dengan dinas pendidikan maupun kerjasama dengan perguruan tinggi agar peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam menjamin kualitas pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Training on Implementing In-Depth Learning for Teachers at LP Ma'arif Malang City Abstract Deep learning is currently a major focus in schools to improve the quality of learning. Community service activities were carried out with 40 teachers from 22 schools at the Ma'arif Islamic Junior High School in Malang City. The community service activities were implemented using the CBR (Community-Based Research) method. CBR is a collaborative approach to address needs through inclusive, participatory, and transformative scientific methods. Measurements of teachers' understanding of deep learning were carried out before and after the training through questionnaires covering aspects of learning understanding, assessment, and media utilization in learning. Analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. The results of the teacher training activities showed an increase in understanding of the learning media aspect from 86.67% to 88.33%, the assessment aspect from 77.33% to 83.89%, and the learning aspect from 64.44% to 80.67%. These results are in line with changes in the learning process that took place during post-training observations. Teachers are better prepared to implement deep learning, starting from the learning tools and the process appears to be taking place according to the deep learning framework, although not yet 100%. It can be concluded that the training activities were effective and are expected to be implemented in classroom learning. Such activities need to be implemented and planned in collaboration with the education office and universities to improve teacher capacity in ensuring the quality of learning.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keberdayaan kelompok lansia produktif melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna pakan campuran fermentasi–kering dalam budidaya domba di Kalurahan Argodadi, Kecamatan Sedayu, Kabupaten Bantul. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya produktivitas ternak akibat keterbatasan kemampuan peternak lansia dalam pengelolaan pakan dan pemanfaatan limbah peternakan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 40 peserta dari dua kelompok mitra, yaitu Kelompok BETERNAK dan LANTERA, terlibat aktif dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan peningkatan pada berbagai aspek produksi: efisiensi pakan meningkat sebesar 35%, pertambahan bobot domba naik dari 0,6 kg/bulan menjadi 0,9 kg/bulan, dan waktu kerja lansia berkurang dari 3,2 jam menjadi 1,8 jam per hari. Skor keberdayaan produksi meningkat dari 2,81 (kategori sedang) menjadi 4,29 (kategori sangat baik). Sebanyak 92,5% peserta mampu memproduksi pakan campuran secara mandiri dan 87,5% memahami prinsip biosekuriti serta pengolahan limbah menjadi pupuk organik. Selain itu, program ini memberikan dampak ekonomi berupa peningkatan pendapatan tambahan rata-rata Rp600.000–Rp800.000 per bulan per anggota. Berdasarkan capaian indikator tersebut, penerapan teknologi ini menunjukkan efektivitas dalam mendukung aktivitas lansia serta meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian kelompok dalam pengelolaan peternakan berkelanjutan. Penerapan teknologi pakan campuran ini memiliki dampak jangka panjang terhadap peningkatan produktivitas ternak, penguatan kapasitas lansia dalam pengelolaan peternakan, serta kemandirian kelompok dalam produksi pakan dan pengolahan limbah. Teknologi yang digunakan bersifat sederhana, hemat waktu, dan mudah direplikasi sehingga memungkinkan kelompok untuk mempertahankan praktik ini secara berkelanjutan. Rencana keberlanjutan program meliputi pembentukan unit produksi pakan skala kelompok, pemanfaatan pupuk organik sebagai produk tambahan yang bernilai ekonomi, serta penguatan jejaring dengan pemerintah desa dan dinas terkait untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha peternakan yang berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya pada aspek pengentasan kemiskinan (SDG 1), ketahanan pangan (SDG 2), pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi (SDG 8), serta konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab (SDG 12). Innovation of Appropriate Technology in Mixed Fermented–Dry Feed for Improving Sheep Farming Efficiency among Productive Elderly Farmers Abstract This community service program aims to improve the efficiency and empowerment of productive elderly groups through the application of an appropriate technology for fermented–dry mixed feed in sheep farming in Argodadi Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency. The program was initiated due to low livestock productivity, which stems from limited abilities of elderly farmers in feed management and livestock waste utilization. The implementation method employed a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, consisting of socialization, technical training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation stages. A total of 40 participants from two partner groups, BETERNAK and LANTERA, were actively involved in all stages of the program. Measurement results indicated improvements across various production aspects. Feed efficiency increased by 35%. Average sheep weight gain rose from 0.6 kg/month to 0.9 kg/month. The daily working time of elderly farmers decreased from 3.2 hours to 1.8 hours per day. The production empowerment score increased from 2.81 (moderate category) to 4.29 (very good category). A total of 92.5% of participants were able to independently produce mixed feed, and 87.5% understood biosecurity principles and livestock waste processing into organic fertilizer. In addition, the program generated an economic impact in the form of an increase in additional income of approximately IDR 600,000–800,000 per member per month. Based on these indicators, the application of this technology demonstrates effectiveness in supporting the daily activities of elderly farmers and enhancing the capacity and independence of the groups in sustainable livestock management. The adoption of the mixed-feed technology also has long-term impacts, including improved livestock productivity, strengthened capabilities of elderly farmers in farm management, and increased group self-reliance in feed production and waste processing. The technology is simple, time-efficient, and easily replicable, enabling the groups to maintain its practice sustainably. The program’s sustainability plan includes establishing a group-scale feed production unit, utilizing organic fertilizer as an additional value-added product, and strengthening networks with village authorities and relevant government agencies to support the development of sustainable livestock enterprises. The outcomes of this program contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly poverty reduction (SDG 1), food security (SDG 2), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and responsible consumption and production (SDG 12).

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pedagogis guru matematika dalam mengembangkan perangkat ajar berbasis Ethno-STEM yang kontekstual dan berakar pada nilai budaya lokal. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah rendahnya inovasi pembelajaran dan minimnya integrasi budaya lokal dalam perangkat ajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui model pelatihan dual-phase yang terdiri dari pelatihan in-service dan on-service dengan pendekatan deep learning. Metode ini memungkinkan guru untuk memperoleh pemahaman teoritis sekaligus menerapkannya dalam konteks nyata. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas perangkat ajar yang dikembangkan, keterlibatan aktif guru, serta kemampuan mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, pendekatan Ethno-STEM juga terbukti mendorong siswa berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan terlibat aktif dalam proses belajar. Dampak jangka panjangnya terlihat dari peningkatan pemahaman konseptual siswa dan keberlanjutan praktik pembelajaran berbasis budaya oleh guru setelah pelatihan. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran kontekstual di tingkat SMP serta mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 dan SDG 11. Assistance in Developing Ethno-STEM-Based Learning Materials to Optimize Student Learning Outcomes Abstract This community engagement aimed to enhance mathematics teachers' pedagogical capacity in designing contextual Ethno-STEM-based learning tools rooted in local cultural values. The main issue faced by partner schools was the lack of innovation and cultural integration in lesson plans. The program was implemented through a dual-phase training model consisting of in-service and on-service training with a deep learning approach. This method allowed teachers to gain theoretical understanding while practicing it in real classroom contexts. Results indicated a significant improvement in the quality of instructional tools, active teacher engagement, and their ability to integrate local culture into mathematics learning. Furthermore, the Ethno-STEM approach encouraged students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and participate actively in the learning process. In the long term, the program fostered conceptual understanding among students and empowered teachers to continuously implement culturally responsive teaching practices.  This program provides a practical contribution to the development of contextual learning models at the secondary school level and supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 and SDG 11.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan petani di Kecamatan Astambul, Kabupaten Banjar, melalui pelatihan pembuatan Trichoderma sp. sebagai agen hayati pengendali penyakit tanaman. Ketergantungan petani terhadap pestisida kimia masih tinggi akibat terbatasnya pemahaman tentang alternatif pengendalian hayati. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada 9 Oktober 2025 di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kecamatan Astambul melibatkan 20 petani padi dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan metode praktik langsung. Kegiatan mencakup penyuluhan tentang hama dan penyakit tanaman padi serta demonstrasi pembuatan inokulum Trichoderma sp. menggunakan bahan lokal yang mudah diperoleh.Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman petani mengenai mekanisme kerja Trichoderma sp. dan keterampilan teknis dalam memproduksi inokulum secara mandiri. Meskipun penerapan langsung di lahan belum dilakukan, hasil diskusi menunjukkan bahwa petani mulai memahami potensi penggunaan Trichoderma sp. untuk mengurangi frekuensi penyemprotan pestisida kimia sebanyak 1–2 kali per musim tanam. Selain itu, berdasarkan referensi ilmiah, penggunaan Trichoderma sp. secara konsisten berpeluang meningkatkan kesehatan perakaran dan produktivitas tanaman padi hingga 10–20%. Program ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian, dan kelompok tani sebagai langkah awal menuju penerapan biokontrol yang berkelanjutan. Untuk menjaga keberlanjutan program, diperlukan pendampingan teknis lanjutan, ketersediaan isolat berkualitas, serta pengembangan unit produksi inokulum di tingkat kelompok tani. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan potensi besar sebagai model pemberdayaan petani menuju pertanian yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Empowering Farmers through Training on the Production of Trichoderma sp. as a Solution for Plant Disease Control in Astambul District Abstract This community service program aimed to empower farmers in Astambul District, Banjar Regency, through training on the production of Trichoderma sp. as a biological agent for plant disease control. Farmers in the region remain highly dependent on chemical pesticides due to limited knowledge of alternative biological control methods. The training, conducted on 9 October 2025 at the Agricultural Extension Center of Astambul District, involved 20 rice farmers using a participatory approach and hands-on learning methods. The activities included a lecture on major pests and diseases of rice plants and a demonstration of Trichoderma sp. inoculum production using easily accessible local materials.The program successfully improved farmers’ understanding of the mode of action of Trichoderma sp. and enhanced their technical skills in producing inoculum independently. Although field application has not yet been carried out, discussions with participants indicated that farmers now recognize the potential of Trichoderma sp. to reduce the frequency of chemical pesticide applications by 1–2 times per planting season. In addition, scientific references indicate that the consistent use of Trichoderma sp. may improve root health and increase rice crop productivity by 10–20%. The program also strengthened collaboration among universities, the Agricultural Extension Center, and farmer groups as an initial step toward sustainable biocontrol implementation. To ensure long-term sustainability, continued technical assistance, access to high-quality isolates, and the development of inoculum production units at the farmer-group level are required. Overall, this program demonstrates strong potential as a model for empowering farmers and promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture.
