Abstract

The low levels of students’ motor skills and health literacy at SDN 03 Krapyak are influenced by the limited use of technology in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) instruction and the insufficient integration of health literacy into learning activities. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies through the use of the Smart EduFitKids application as a learning medium to support students’ motor skill development and health literacy. The program employed a service-learning approach consisting of socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. A needs assessment was conducted through observations and interviews. The program involved 12 participants, including the principal, teachers, and educational staff. Program evaluation was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that 90% of participants reported that the program improved their understanding of designing technology-based PJOK instruction. In addition, 89% of participants indicated that the training and mentoring activities enhanced their ability to utilize digital technology to support health literacy, while 89% agreed that the Smart EduFitKids application facilitated the integration of motor learning, healthy lifestyle habits, and digital monitoring of student development. These percentages were derived from satisfaction and program-benefit questionnaires completed by all participants. Overall, the program contributed to improving teachers’ competencies and supported the enhancement of students’ motor skills and health literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are increasingly being identified among school-aged children and individuals of productive age; however, their early signs often go undetected. This community service program aimed to improve students' understanding of NCDs and to identify risk factors at an early stage through a comprehensive health screening conducted at SDN 002 Seri Kuala Lobam. The program was implemented from August to November 2025 using an integrated approach that included health education, anthropometric measurements, blood pressure assessment, blood glucose and cholesterol screening for teachers, as well as visual acuity and color vision examinations for students. The program involved 50 students and 9 teachers and educational staff members. The results demonstrated an improvement in students' understanding of NCDs, with an N-gain score of 0.34, indicating a moderate level of improvement. The health screening revealed a range of nutritional statuses among students, including undernutrition, overweight, obesity, and several cases of visual impairment. Among teachers, hypertension, overweight, obesity, and dyslipidemia were identified. These findings indicate that health education combined with comprehensive health screening plays an important role in increasing knowledge and facilitating the early identification of risk factors for non-communicable diseases. Sustainable collaboration between schools and higher education institutions is essential to support the implementation of integrated school health programs

Abstract

The era of digital disruption and the transition toward Society 5.0 require university graduates to develop adaptive digital competencies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy and Cyber Security awareness, as essential components of career readiness. However, preliminary observations indicated that many students still use digital technologies primarily as end users, with limited understanding of the ethical use of AI and fundamental cybersecurity practices. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to enhance the career readiness of students at Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama by strengthening their AI literacy and cybersecurity competencies. The program adopted a capacity-building approach through a National Seminar consisting of three stages: needs analysis, educational sessions on prompt engineering and cyber hygiene, and program evaluation. A total of 250 students participated in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure participants' knowledge improvement, complemented by a questionnaire to assess participants' perceptions of the program's relevance and usefulness. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the mean pre-test and post-test scores and calculating the percentage of participants' responses. The results showed that the average score increased from 46.5 in the pre-test to 84.2 in the post-test. This improvement indicates enhanced understanding of the ethical use of AI, effective prompt engineering techniques, and basic cybersecurity practices. Furthermore, 94% of the participants reported that the program was relevant and applicable to the development of their digital competencies and professional portfolios. These findings suggest that an interactive educational approach based on industry case studies has the potential to improve students' AI literacy and cybersecurity awareness and may serve as an alternative model for strengthening digital competencies in higher education.

Abstract

MSMEs in Nagari Tanjung Bonai Aur, Sijunjung Regency, possess high-potential local flagship products, including eucalyptus oil, kalamai, and kembang loyang cakes. However, limited digital literacy and insufficient utilization of e-commerce platforms constrain their market expansion. This community service program aimed to enhance MSME digital capacity through e-commerce training and continuous assistance using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, structured into a two-day intensive workshop and two months of post-training mentoring. Program evaluation employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative action research with quantitative pretest-posttest measurements across 25 participating MSMEs. The findings demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in participants' digital literacy score from  to  ( , Paired Sample t-test). All 25 MSMEs successfully established and independently managed online storefronts on Tokopedia and Shopee, achieving an initial 45 verified online transactions during the mentoring period. The PAR approach proved highly effective in fostering community engagement, digital store management skills, and self-reliance among rural MSMEs. This intervention model provides an adaptable framework for digital transformation in similar rural contexts, provided local product characteristics and digital readiness are adequately addressed.

Abstract

Limited digital and data literacy can hinder systematic documentation of local medicinal-plant knowledge in Islamic boarding schools. This community service program empowered students’ data literacy through participatory curation of a structured herbal dataset. The six-week activity involved 15 students and two teachers and comprised needs assessment, digital-literacy training, field data collection, dataset curation, checking, evaluation, and reflection. Achievement was assessed descriptively through three performance components: computer use, Google Sheets data processing, and data capture and storage. Their arithmetic mean increased from 62.4 to 86.6, a 24.1-point or 38.7% change relative to the initial mean. This result describes only the participating group and does not establish causality. The program produced 75 standardized herbal entries that underwent completeness, naming-consistency, and basic plant-data checks. Structured metadata, tabular formatting, process documentation, and restricted access represented an initial orientation toward FAIR principles rather than full FAIR compliance.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises in Purwadana Village still rely mainly on conventional marketing, while limited managerial and digital capabilities constrain consistent use of online channels. This community service program aimed to strengthen human resource competence and digital marketing readiness among 25 village officials and MSME actors. Activities comprised preparation, pre-test, practice-oriented training, mentoring, and post-test. A 0-100 questionnaire assessed short-term understanding of business management and digital marketing. The mean score increased from 54.6 to 80.6, a 47.6% relative increase. Digital marketing understanding rose by 56.2%, while human resource competence rose by 39.8%. During mentoring, participants practiced product photography, promotional captions, social media account management, audience targeting, and marketplace introduction. The results indicate improved short-term knowledge and readiness rather than proven business performance. Follow-up monitoring is required to assess sustained digital use and business outcomes.

Abstract

A Certificate of Functional Feasibility (SLF) is an official document stating that a building has fulfilled the required administrative and technical requirements and is therefore suitable for use according to its intended function. However, housing developers still face difficulties in fulfilling technical and administrative requirements prior to SLF application. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to provide building reliability evaluation assistance to PT Haukoto Residence Permai for six residential units (A1–A6) at Haukoto Residence Permai Housing Estate, Fatukoa Village, Maulafa District, Kupang City. The activity was conducted on December 2, 2025, through coordination, field observation, visual inspection, measurements, documentation, SLF checklist assessment, evaluation, and the preparation of technical recommendations. The results showed that all six units (100%) could be classified as functionally feasible with conditions requiring improvement, with the main findings involving the arrangement of green open spaces and paved areas, provision of evacuation signs and assembly points, waste management facilities, accessibility improvements, and refinement of site information. In Unit A4, the building coverage ratio (KDB) was approximately 66.7%, exceeding the 60% limit, while the green open space ratio (KDH) was approximately 26.8%, below the required 40%. The assistance produced technical recommendations and helped the developer identify improvement priorities and prepare for fulfillment of SLF requirements prior to further verification.
