Abstract

The intensive and long-term use of inorganic fertilizers has the potential to degrade soil quality and disrupt the balance of agricultural ecosystems, thereby requiring sustainable alternatives based on local resources. This study aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of members of the Wira Wanita Mandiri Farmer Group in Kolisia Village, Magepanda District, in utilizing rice husk as a raw material for organic fertilizer. The methods employed included counseling, training, and hands-on practice in organic fertilizer production involving 15 farmer group members. The fertilizer production process was carried out through the fermentation of rice husk with the addition of bran and microbial activators (EM4/EMA), encompassing material mixing, moisture regulation, and fermentation for approximately 21 days. The results indicated that participants were able to understand and apply organic fertilizer production techniques and successfully produce fertilizer with physical characteristics such as darker color, fine texture, and crumbly structure. Furthermore, the activity had a positive impact on the utilization of agricultural waste and the enhancement of farmers’ capacity in managing local resources. In conclusion, the utilization of rice husk as organic fertilizer represents an effective strategy to support sustainable agriculture and strengthen farmer self-reliance.ABSTRAKPenggunaan pupuk anorganik secara intensif dalam jangka panjang berpotensi menurunkan kualitas tanah dan mengganggu keseimbangan ekosistem pertanian, sehingga diperlukan alternatif berbasis sumber daya lokal yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota Kelompok Tani Wira Wanita Mandiri Desa Kolisia, Kecamatan Magepanda, dalam pemanfaatan sekam padi sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung pembuatan pupuk organik dengan melibatkan 15 anggota kelompok tani. Proses pembuatan pupuk dilakukan melalui fermentasi sekam padi dengan penambahan dedak dan aktivator mikroorganisme (EM4/EMA), yang meliputi tahapan pencampuran bahan, pengaturan kadar air, dan fermentasi selama ±21 hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dan menerapkan teknik pembuatan pupuk organik, serta menghasilkan pupuk dengan karakteristik fisik berupa warna lebih gelap, tekstur halus, dan struktur remah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemanfaatan limbah pertanian dan peningkatan kapasitas petani dalam pengelolaan sumber daya lokal. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan sekam padi sebagai pupuk organik merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kemandirian petani.

Abstract

Sexual violence in educational settings, including Islamic boarding schools, is a serious issue that often goes unnoticed due to various factors, such as a culture of silence, power relations, and a lack of legal awareness. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) ranks second nationally for the highest number of reported cases of sexual violence. Based on the need for a proper understanding of the impact and prevention of sexual violence against children, this community service activity was conducted in Islamic boarding schools throughout West Lombok. The aim was to increase legal awareness among students regarding their rights as victims of sexual violence and to introduce available legal protection mechanisms. The methods used were dialogue-based legal education and community-based empowerment through seminars, focus group discussions, and short training sessions involving students, male and female religious teachers (ustadz), Islamic boarding school administrators, and community leaders. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the forms of sexual violence, their rights to legal protection, and accessible reporting channels. This legal education is expected to be the first step in building a more responsive and legally aware protection system within Islamic boarding schools.ABSTRAKKekerasan seksual di lingkungan pendidikan, termasuk pondok pesantren, merupakan persoalan serius yang masih sering luput dari perhatian karena berbagai faktor, seperti budaya diam, relasi kuasa, dan minimnya pemahaman hukum. NTB berada pada posisi kedua kasus terlapor terbanyak secara nasional dalam kekerasan seksual. Berdasarkan kebutuhan akan arti pentingnya pemahaman yang benar terkait dampak dan pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak, maka kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di lingkungan pondok pesantren di seluruh wilayah lombok Barat dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum para santri mengenai hak-hak mereka sebagai korban kekerasan seksual serta memperkenalkan mekanisme perlindungan hukum yang tersedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukasi hukum berbasis dialog dan pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas melalui seminar, diskusi kelompok terarah dan pelatihan singkat dengan melibatkan santri, ustadz dan ustadzah, pengasuh pesantren dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman santri terhadap bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual, hak perlindungan hukum, serta saluran pelaporan yang dapat diakses. Edukasi hukum ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun sistem perlindungan yang lebih responsif dan berbasis kesadaran hukum di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

The "Ali Firdaus" Bakso SME faces competitiveness challenges due to its simple packaging, lack of brand identity, and suboptimal digital marketing strategy. This community engagement program aims to enhance business competitiveness through integrated interventions in packaging, branding, and social media. Implementation utilizes a participatory-collaborative approach, including training, technical mentoring, and direct execution over three months. The results show significant improvements in visual identity with the adoption of an informative logo and food-grade vacuum packaging, extending product shelf life from 1 day to 7 days under refrigeration. Digital presence was also strengthened through the revitalization of Instagram and TikTok accounts, achieving an increased reach of up to 1,650 views per video and a digital sales contribution of 35% of total revenue. This program demonstrates that practical-oriented, integrated mentoring can build a strong branding foundation and digital marketing capacity for SMEs, while preparing them to compete in the modern market.ABSTRAKUMKM Bakso “Ali Firdaus” menghadapi kendala daya saing karena kemasan sederhana, ketiadaan identitas merek, serta strategi pemasaran digital yang belum optimal. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing usaha melalui intervensi terpadu pada aspek kemasan, branding, dan media sosial. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif, mencakup pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, dan implementasi langsung selama tiga bulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada identitas visual dengan diterapkannya logo dan kemasan vakum food-grade yang informatif, yang memperpanjang umur simpan produk dari 1 hari menjadi 7 hari pada suhu dingin. Kehadiran digital juga menguat melalui revitalisasi akun Instagram dan TikTok, dengan peningkatan jangkauan hingga 1.650 penayangan per video serta kontribusi penjualan digital sebesar 35% dari total omzet. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan terpadu berorientasi praktis dapat membangun fondasi branding dan kapasitas pemasaran digital UMKM, sekaligus menyiapkan mereka untuk bersaing di pasar modern.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed marketing practices, particularly through the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which enables more efficient, measurable, and personalized strategies. However, the application of AI in digital marketing remains underutilized among university students, including those in the Business Digital and Entrepreneurship Study Program at Universitas Al-Irsyad Cilacap. This community service program aims to enhance students’ competencies in implementing AI—specifically through the Manus AI platform—in the context of digital marketing. The activity employed In-Service Training (IST) and On-Service Training (OST) methods, conducted online via Zoom Meeting, involving 51 participants comprising students and lecturers. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, execution, and evaluation. Evaluation instruments included pre-tests and post-tests to measure cognitive improvement, as well as questionnaires to assess participant responses. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of AI-based digital marketing concepts, with a 45% average increase in post-test scores. Additionally, participants expressed high levels of satisfaction with the interactive and practical learning approach. It is concluded that this workshop effectively increased participants’ competencies in utilizing AI for digital marketing and serves as a replicable model for similar training initiatives in other educational institutions.ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam dunia pemasaran, khususnya dengan hadirnya kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) yang memungkinkan strategi pemasaran menjadi lebih efisien, terukur, dan personal. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi ini masih belum optimal di kalangan mahasiswa, termasuk mahasiswa Program Studi Bisnis Digital dan Kewirausahaan Universitas Al-Irsyad Cilacap. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam mengimplementasikan AI, khususnya melalui platform Manus AI, dalam konteks digital marketing. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan In-Service Training (IST) dan On-Service Training (OST) secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting, yang diikuti oleh 51 peserta yang terdiri dari mahasiswa dan dosen. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Instrumen evaluasi berupa pre-test dan post-test digunakan untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta, serta angket untuk mengetahui respon terhadap kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep digital marketing berbasis AI, serta tingginya antusiasme peserta terhadap pendekatan yang digunakan. Analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pemahaman peserta sebesar 45% setelah mengikuti kegiatan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa workshop ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta terhadap pemanfaatan AI dalam digital marketing, serta dapat menjadi model pelatihan yang aplikatif, inovatif, dan mudah direplikasi di institusi pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to implement the program goal setting as a visionary personal development strategy for children in the school environment. This program was implemented on June 13 and 14, 2025, in Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, involving residents and Karang Taruna as strategic partners. The implementation method of community service is through 3 (three) stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Through a participatory approach, this activity introduces the concept of life goal setting (goal setting) systematically using the SMART method (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). Participants were given an understanding of the importance of having a vision and life goals from an early age and how to guide children to plan their future in a focused manner. The results of the activity showed that most participants were able to understand the concept/goal setting and developing self-development plans for children. Furthermore, Karang Taruna has demonstrated its commitment to continuing this program's mentoring at the school and community levels. This program is expected to be the first step in developing a generation of young people with a strong future orientation and visionary character.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan program goal setting sebagai strategi pengembangan pribadi visioner bagi anak-anak di lingkungan sekolah. Program ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 dan 14 Juni 2025 di Desa Warnasari, Kecamatan Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung, dengan melibatkan warga dan Karang Taruna sebagai mitra strategis. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yakni dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, kegiatan ini memperkenalkan konsep penetapan tujuan hidup (goal setting) secara sistematis menggunakan metode SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). Peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya memiliki visi dan tujuan hidup sejak dini serta cara membimbing anak untuk merancang masa depan mereka secara terarah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami konsep goal setting dan menyusun rencana pengembangan diri bagi anak-anak. Selain itu, Karang Taruna menunjukkan komitmen untuk melanjutkan pendampingan program ini di tingkat sekolah dan komunitas. Program ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki orientasi masa depan yang kuat dan karakter visioner.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an essential requirement for community organizations to improve the effectiveness of administrative and financial management, including youth organizations such as Karang Taruna of Kertawangi Village, which still face limitations in utilizing cloud-based digital accounting information systems. This activity aims to enhance the understanding and capabilities of Karang Taruna members in managing accounting information systems through cloud-based file management to support more orderly, transparent, and collaborative financial recording and documentation. The community service was conducted through three stages: needs assessment with partners, socialization and training on basic concepts of digital accounting information systems and cloud-based file management, and evaluation through participant feedback. The results show that among the 30 participants involved, the majority of participants gained new understanding regarding the use of cloud-based links for embedding and documenting transaction evidence and gained new understanding of collaborative features, access authorization, and simultaneous document editing using Google Drive. Feedback evaluation indicates a very high level of participant satisfaction regarding the relevance of the material, clarity of delivery, and overall benefits of the activity. In conclusion, this community service program effectively improves digital accounting information system literacy among youth organizations and has the potential to support sustainable financial governance.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital media and social networking platforms has substantially transformed the ways students’ access, consume, and disseminate news, while simultaneously increasing their vulnerability to misinformation and disinformation. This condition underscores the urgency of strengthening news literacy as an essential cognitive and social competence for fostering critical awareness and responsible digital citizenship. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a news literacy workshop in strengthening senior high school students’ perceptions and critical awareness in Indonesia. The study employed a quasi-experimental design using a pre-test and post-test approach involving 91 senior high school students who participated in news literacy workshops conducted at four schools in North Sumatra Province. Data were collected using a news literacy perception questionnaire encompassing conceptual understanding, information verification skills, awareness of media bias, and ethical attitudes toward media use. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the nonparametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, complemented by effect size calculations to assess the magnitude of the intervention’s impact. The results indicate a statistically significant increase in students’ mean news literacy perception scores following the workshop, with significance values of p 0.05 and effect sizes ranging from large to very large. The most substantial improvements were observed in indicators related to understanding news structure and news values, recognizing media bias, and applying practical digital information verification skills, including the use of fact-checking tools and reverse image search techniques. Although the normalized gain (N-Gain) was categorized as low, this finding is understandable given the limited duration of the intervention and the complex nature of news literacy, which requires sustained and continuous learning processes. Overall, the findings confirm that news literacy workshops are effective as an initial strategy for strengthening high school students’ critical awareness and news literacy perceptions and have important implications for the development of integrated and sustainable news literacy programs within formal education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The increasing volume of household waste has occurred in parallel with population growth and rising household activities. Limited public knowledge regarding household waste management has resulted in waste being disposed of without further processing, leading to environmental pollution. At the same time, the intensive use of chemical fertilizers has contributed to declining soil fertility and increased production costs for smallholder farmers due to rising prices of non-subsidized fertilizers. This community service program aimed to empower the Sumber Tani Farmer Group in Arjasa Village, Jember Regency, through training on the production of eco-enzymes from household organic waste as a strategy to improve soil fertility and enhance farm cost efficiency. The program was implemented using a participatory approach (learning by doing), consisting of three main stages: preparation and coordination, implementation (counseling, demonstrations, and hands-on practice), and evaluation. Conducted from August to October 2025, the activity involved 30 members of the farmer group. The results demonstrated an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills in processing organic waste into eco-enzymes and applying them to agricultural land. Overall, the program successfully promoted farmer self-reliance in the provision of liquid organic fertilizers, reduced dependence on chemical inputs, and supported the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural systems.ABSTRAKPeningkatan volume limbah rumah tangga terjadi seiring peningkatan populasi dan aktivitas rumah tangga. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga sehingga limbah terbuang tanpa diolah lebih lanjut yang berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan. Di sisi lain, penggunaan pupuk kimia secara intensif telah menyebabkan penurunan tingkat kesuburan tanah, serta meningkatkan biaya produksi bagi petani skala kecil akibat kenaikan harga pupuk nonsubsidi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Tani Sumber Tani di Desa Arjasa, Kabupaten Jember, melalui pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme dari limbah organik rumah tangga sebagai solusi perbaikan kesuburan tanah dan efisiensi biaya usaha tani. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif (learning by doing) yang meliputi tiga tahapan utama: persiapan dan koordinasi, pelaksanaan (penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung), dan evaluasi. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus–Oktober 2025 ini diikuti oleh 30 orang anggota kelompok tani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah limbah organik menjadi eco-enzyme serta mampu mengaplikasikannya pada lahan pertanian. Program ini telah berhasil mendorong kemandirian petani dalam penyediaan pupuk organik cair, mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan kimia, serta mendukung terciptanya sistem pertanian berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is an important foundation in character building and optimal child development. This community service aims to improve the competence of teachers and parents of TK IT Harvysyah in three aspects: psychological stimulation of children, instilling Islamic morals, and sharia family financial management. Activities are carried out through a participatory approach with training, workshop, and mentoring methods. Participants consist of 10 teachers of TK IT Harvysyah and 30 parents. The training materials cover theory and practice of child development stimulation based on educational psychology, implementation of moral education through habituation and exemplary methods, as well as planning and management of family finances based on sharia economic principles. Evaluation results show a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills, with an average increase in knowledge. This program makes a real contribution in forming a holistic-integrative education ecosystem, combining cognitive, spiritual, and economic aspects for family welfare and optimization of early childhood growth and development.ABSTRAKPendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan perkembangan optimal anak. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan orang tua TK IT Harvysyah dalam tiga aspek yaitu stimulasi psikologis anak, penanaman akhlak Islami, dan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga syariah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan metode pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan. Peserta terdiri dari 10 guru TK IT Harvysyah dan 30 orang tua. Materi pelatihan mencakup teori dan praktik stimulasi perkembangan anak berbasis psikologi pendidikan, implementasi pendidikan akhlak melalui metode pembiasaan dan keteladanan, serta perencanaan dan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga berdasarkan prinsip ekonomi syariah. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan. Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam membentuk ekosistem pendidikan yang holistik-integratif, menggabungkan aspek kognitif, spiritual, dan ekonomi untuk kesejahteraan keluarga dan optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak usia dini.

Abstract

The shift of youth interaction patterns toward digital spaces requires youth organizations to adapt in order to remain relevant. Karang Taruna, as a grassroots youth organization, still faces challenges such as low participation, weak coordination, and limited use of digital media. This community service program aims to transform Karang Taruna’s digital communication to enhance youth collaboration and participation. The program was implemented in Kertawangi Village through training and mentoring on digital communication platforms, social media management, cloud-based documentation, and digital ethics and security. The methods included needs assessment, socialization, participatory discussions, and evaluation. The results show increased understanding and skills among Karang Taruna members in utilizing structured digital communication. Evaluation results indicate that more than 80% of participants found the program relevant and supported its sustainability. This digital communication transformation strengthens internal collaboration and encourages active youth participation in organizational and community activities.ABSTRAKPerubahan pola interaksi generasi muda yang semakin bergeser ke ranah digital menuntut organisasi kepemudaan untuk beradaptasi agar tetap relevan. Karang Taruna sebagai wadah pengembangan pemuda di tingkat desa masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti rendahnya partisipasi anggota, lemahnya koordinasi, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan media digital. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasikan komunikasi digital Karang Taruna guna meningkatkan kolaborasi dan partisipasi pemuda. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Kertawangi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan platform komunikasi digital, pengelolaan media sosial, dokumentasi berbasis cloud, serta penguatan etika dan keamanan komunikasi digital. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penjajakan kebutuhan mitra, sosialisasi materi, diskusi partisipatif, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan anggota Karang Taruna dalam memanfaatkan komunikasi digital secara lebih terstruktur. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan lebih dari 80% peserta menyatakan materi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan berharap kegiatan serupa dilanjutkan. Transformasi komunikasi digital ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan intensitas interaksi, memperkuat kolaborasi internal, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif pemuda dalam kegiatan organisasi dan masyarakat.
