Abstract

The symptoms of moral decline, today not only affect adults, but also have affected young students, parents, educators, and those involved in the field of Religion and social, many complain about the behavior of some students who behave naughty in the school environment and at home, one of which is stubbornness, drunkenness, brawls, drug parties, lifestyles like in Europe and America and so on. To foster Islamic values in the social environment, in social life there needs to be a religious activity program in the social environment by integrating religious values in every activity and behavior. Integrating science with Religion is a solid effort as a reaction to the concept of dichotomy between Religion and science. Parents have the responsibility to teach the Qur'an to their children from an early age. Teaching the Qur'an has a great influence in instilling strong faith (aqidah) for children. teaching the Qur'an to children is the basis of Islamic education, especially what must be taught. When a child is still walking according to his natural state as a pure human being without sin, it is the most open ground to obtain the light of wisdom hidden in the Qur’an before lust disappears.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum plays a crucial role in shaping students' character and morals, as well as instilling religious values that can be applied in everyday life. However, the challenges of globalization, which are transforming social, cultural, and technological patterns, require adjustments to the PAI curriculum to stay aligned with the times. This study aims to explore the importance of developing a relevant PAI curriculum in the era of globalization and to identify concrete steps in adapting the curriculum to the needs of students and global challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature review and interviews with curriculum developers, PAI teachers, and academics. The findings of the study indicate that the development of a relevant PAI curriculum should cover three main aspects: integrating Islamic values with advancements in science and technology, enhancing students' social skills and character, and utilizing media and technology in the learning process. This study also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the government, and educational institutions.

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is a crucial pillar in shaping the nation's character. However, in Indonesia, the implementation of IRE often falls short of expectations. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to the suboptimal implementation of IRE and its impact on students. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study identifies several key factors, including teacher quality, curriculum, facility support, and social environment. This study aims to explore the implementation of a media literacy approach within the PAI curriculum. The primary focus is to analyze how media literacy can help students understand, evaluate, and utilize digital media in alignment with Islamic values. Furthermore, this study seeks to formulate effective teaching strategies to address digital issues such as misinformation, negative content, and radicalism while fostering strong Islamic character. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of a PAI curriculum that is both relevant to the challenges of the digital age and applicable at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Silent Demonstration for MI/SD students and how this activity can integrate students to think critically, creatively, communicatively, and collaboratively. This research uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. Descriptive research, that is, research conducted to determine the value of the independent variable, either one variable or more (independent) without making comparisons or connecting with other variables. Qualitative collection techniques usually use observation, interviews, and documentation. The demonstration strategy carried out in the learning process is a presentation of lessons by demonstrating and demonstrating to students about a certain process, situation, or object, either real or just an imitation. While mute can be interpreted as silent or unable to speak / just remain silent. Researchers are interested in the behavior of students during silent demonstrations where students play a unified role in making sweet tea, especially when carrying out the steps for making sweet tea, meaning that these activities can attract students' attention and follow learning in a fun way.

Abstract

Blended Learning is a learning facility that is carried out by combining various media in delivery methods, teaching models, and learning styles, with the help of information and communication technology appropriately to achieve the desired learning objectives. The pandemic period has seen the popularity of the blended learning approach. However, very few studies summarize the effectiveness of blended in different countries. Therefore, it is meaningful and necessary to examine the effectiveness of blended learning across the world. However, optimizing blended learning needs to be accompanied by adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as human resources. Both teachers and students must have technology-based knowledge to be able to use the facilities used in this blended learning method.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in forming the character and morals of students in Indonesia. However, its implementation often encounters various obstacles which cause PAI learning to be less than optimal. This research aims to analyze the obstacles that exist in implementing PAI in Indonesian schools, with a focus on aspects of learning that are not optimal. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several schools in Indonesia, which involves interviews with PAI teachers, students, and school officials, as well as direct observation of the learning process. The research results show that there are several significant obstacles in implementing PAI, including the lack of competence of PAI teachers, limited educational resources, and a lack of appropriate learning support facilities. Apart from that, low student motivation factors, the influence of the family and social environment, and limited time allocated for PAI in the curriculum also contribute to less-than-optimal learning. This research reveals that although PAI has a strategic role in education, external and internal factors in schools need to receive more attention so that the learning process can run effectively. Therefore, this research recommends increasing training for PAI teachers, providing adequate facilities, and strengthening the role of parents and the community in supporting religious learning in schools.
