Abstract

Physical education has an important role in the physical, mental and social development of students in elementary schools. This article examines the characteristics of effective physical education learning at the elementary school level. Through a qualitative approach, this research analyzes teaching methods, curriculum materials, and the role of teachers in creating a supportive learning environment. The research results show that good physical education involves a holistic approach, where students not only learn about physical activity, but also develop social skills and positive values ​​such as cooperation, discipline, and sportsmanship. Apart from that, the importance of adapting the curriculum to students' needs and abilities is also a major highlight. Thus, physical education can contribute significantly to the formation of students' character from an early age.

Abstract

With the implementation of regional government autonomy in 1999/2000, which had a major impact on education. In that context, education policies can also be implemented, one of which is the Implementation of School-Based Management (SBM), which can be carried out by all school members who are required to be more creative and innovative to improve the quality of education. Because School Based Management (SBM) is a strategy for advancing education by transferring, important decisions give authority from the state and local government to individual school administrators. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the implementation of School Based Management (MBS) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Morotai Island. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that there has been an improvement related to the Implementation of School Based Management (MBS) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Morotai Island which includes curriculum and teaching management, educational staff, school relations with the community, as well as special services that have run according to what was expected, namely being able to improve the implementation of better School-Based Management at SD Muhammdiyah 1 Morotai Island.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Science, focusing on the topic "Human Senses," through the use of instructional teaching aids. Conducted with fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pulau Morotai during the 2022/2023 academic year, the study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and evaluation tests, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The study's results show a significant increase in students' interest and learning outcomes, marked by an improvement in class mastery from 58.3% in Cycle I to 68.3% in Cycle II, and individual mastery rates rising from 87% to 90%. Based on these findings, the use of teaching aids in science lessons effectively enhances students' engagement and understanding. This research recommends that teachers be more active and creative in utilizing teaching aids to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of the Quran memorization method on improving student achievement at MTsN 3 Tidore. Memorizing the Quran is not only a form of worship but is also believed to help develop students' cognitive abilities, such as memory, concentration, and study discipline. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires and academic test results from 30 students participating in the Quran memorization program (tahfidz) and were compared with students who did not participate in the program. The results of the study show that students involved in the tahfidz program achieved better academic performance compared to those who did not participate. Students who memorized the Quran also reported improvements in concentration, memory, and learning motivation. Data analysis revealed a significant relationship between the Quran memorization method and students' academic performance, with t-test results indicating a significant difference between the two groups.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the process describes the planning, implementation and evaluation of character education at Unggulan 3 Island Morotai State Elementary School. The approach used in this research is a qualitative description approach. The qualitative research approach is how to describe clearly and in detail and obtain in-depth data from the research focus. The sources of data in this research are teachers and school principals. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on Character Education-Based Learning Management at Unggulan 3 Public Elementary School on Morotai Island show that: 1) Character education planning is prepared by involving the school principal and teachers in planning character education. 2) Teachers implement character education in accordance with the RPP and use learning methods and media so that character values ​​in each lesson are achieved. 3) Assessment is carried out at the end of learning through two stages of assessment, namely the process and results stages. The assessment process stage is carried out when students are taking part in learning, and the results assessment is carried out to measure the extent of students' understanding.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe teachers perceptions regarding the implementation of the Pancasila student profile at the leading state elementary school 1 Morotai Island and the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing P5. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research showed that the teachers of the leading state elementary school 1 Morotai Island gave a positive perception of the concept and implementation of the pancasila student profile. However, there are still several teachers at the leading state elementary school 1 Morotai Island who do not understand the concept and implementation of P5. Then the obstacles in implementing P5 are : 1). Lack of teacher understanding of the implementation stages in the learning process, 2). Lack of training received, 3). Lack of infrastructure such as implementation guidelines, 4). Lack of parental support. Meanwhile, the advantages of implementing P5 include : 1). Adds self-confidence to students. 2). Increase creativity and innovation. 3). Foster independence, and 4). Can shape students character and morals.

Abstract

This research aims to improve motivation and science learning outcomes using the Student Active Learning learning Model for Class IV Student at Sabatai Tua Elementary School. This research uses a classroom action research approach. The data collected in this research is describing each stage (cycle) carried out. The research results show that the use of the student Active Learning model for fourth grade students at Sabatai Tua Elementary School increases motivation and learning outcomes. The research results showed that students experienced increased motivation and learning outcomes using the Student Active Learning learning model that was applied. In cycle I, it is known that there were 8 student (36.37%) who were declared complete, while the remaining 14 students (63.63%) had not yet achieved completeness out of a total of 22 students. However, in cycle II there was an increase in scores above the average (>70) or it was known that 20 students (90.90%) were declared complete,while it was known that the number of students who had not achieved completeness was 2 students (9.1%) out of a total of 22 student.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade V students of SMD GMIH buho-buho by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subject of the study was 18 students in grade V of SMD GMIH Buho-buho. The approach applied to this Classroom Action Research (PTK) is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. In this study, the data collection techniques were carried out, namely observation, tests and documentation of learning activities. From the results of the research conducted by researchers at GMIH Buho-buho with material about blocks carried out with the second cycle, it can be seen that student learning outcomes have improved. This can be known from the learning results. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle, which was 22.78, there was a significant increase in learning outcomes in the second cycle, which was 88.89%. classically with completeness in fulfilling KKM 65.

Abstract

This research aims to increase teachers' interest in reading using the classroom reading learning model for class IV-B SDN Unggulan III, Morotai Island. This research uses a classroom action research approach. The data collected in this research is descriptive, namely describing each stage (cycle) carried out. The research results show that using the Classroom Reading Program model for class IV-B students at SDN Unggulan III Morotai Island increases interest in reading. The research results showed that students experienced an increase in interest in reading using the Classroom Reading Program learning model that was applied. In cycle I, it is known that there were 8 Students (36.36%) who were declared complete, while the remaining 14 students (63.63%) had not yet achieved completeness out of a total of 22 students. However, in cycle II there was an increase in scores above the average (70%) or it was known that 18 students (81.81%) were declared complete, while it was known that the number of students who had not achieved completeness was 4 students (18.18%) out of a total of 22 students.

Abstract

This research confirms whether the Alkhairaat education system is relevant to the government program, namely the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various data found plus interviewing several students directly from the Old Teacher. The findings show that the education system in Alkhairaat is very relevant to the current government program, even before the P5 program was carried out by the government, the Old Teacher had already actualized it but with different trends such as the concept of Halaqah or peer tutor (peer teaching), bakuratul khairaat (driving teacher), giving birth to the slogan Indonesia teaching, then diversifying education or opening different types and levels of education.
