Journal of Community Empowerment is multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of empowerment and community Service, published by the English Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram with a publication period of two times in one year, namely in June and December. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community services including (1) social humanities, science, applied science, economic, health, cultural, ICT Development, and administration services, (2) Training and improvement in the results of educational, agricultural, information and communication, and appropriate technology, (3) community empowerment, students community services, local food security, marketing, and less developed region. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. This journal accepts manuscript in Bahasa or English.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAngka stunting di Indonesia termasuk di Jawa Barat dan khususnya Bandung masih tinggi. Pemerintah berupaya untuk menurunkan angka stunting hingga 14 persen pada tahun 2024.Seluruh lapisan masyarakat di dorong untuk berpartisipasi dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan masalah stunting tak terkecuali para lansia. Lansia dalam menjani fase penurunan kapasitas tubuh tetap memiliki potensi dalam berperan dalam keluarga. Salah satu perannya adalah pengasuh anggota keluarga dalam hal ini terlibat dalam melakukan kegiatan merawat dan menjaga cucu. Berdasarkan studi bahwa banyak lansia yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup tentang pencegahan stunting. Lansia membutuhkan penguatan untuk melakukan peran mereka khusunya dalam mencegah stunting dalam keluarga. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memberi penguatan peran lansia dalam mencegah stunting melalui edukasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai stunting dan demonstrasi  masak makanan bernutrisi lengkap di desa Mokla, Cihanjuang Rahayu Kecamatan Parongpong, Bandung Barat. Setelah kegiatan PKM ini, penyuluhan dan demo masak, para peserta lansia memiliki pemahaman tentang stunting dan cara pencegahannya melalui menjaga kebersihan diri anak supaya tidak mudah terkena infeksi dan juga memiliki ketrampilan dalam menyediakan makanan yang bergizi lengkap. Disarankan penguata ini dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dan teratur dimana lansia memiliki kecenderungan untuk lupa.Kata Kunci: pencegahan; penguatan; peran lansia; stunting ABSTRAKThe stunting rate in Indonesia, including in West Java and especially Bandung, is still high. The government is working to reduce the stunting rate to 14 percent by 2024. All levels of society are encouraged to participate in preventing and overcoming the stunting problem, including the elderly. Elderly people who are in the phase of decreasing body capacity still have the potential to play a role in the family. One of those who applied was a caregiver for a family member, in this case involved in carrying out activities to care for and look after grandchildren. Based on research, many elderly people do not have sufficient knowledge about stunting prevention. The elderly need strengthening to carry out their role, especially in preventing stunting in the family. Therefore, the aim of this community service is aimed at empowering the role of the elderly in preventing stunting through education. The method used is through health education regarding stunting and cooking complete nutritious food in Mokla village, Cihanjuang Rahayu, Parongpong District, West Bandung. After this PKM activity, counseling and cooking demonstration, the elderly participants had an understanding of stunting and how to prevent it by maintaining children's personal hygiene so that they are not susceptible to infection and also had the skills to provide complete nutritious food. It is recommended that this strengthening be carried out continuously and regularly because the elderly have a tendency to forget.Keywords: elderly role; empowerment; prevention; stunting

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya petani muda yang bekerja sektor pertanian terus mengalami peningkatan, ini kondisi tidak baik bagi ketahan pangan Indonesia dimasa depan. Salah satu faktor utama rendahnya minat generasi muda terhadap pertanian adalah kurang mengetahui tentang pertanian khususnya pada anak usia dini di tingkat sekolah dasar. Upaya mengatasi permasalah ini, dapat ditempuh berupa edukasi bagi generasi penerus pertanian. Inilah yang menjadi alasan utama kegiatan penyuluhan edukasi terhadap peserta didik jenjang pendidikan dasar tepatnya Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan kegiatan adalah menumbuhkan pemahaman pada 21 siswa SD Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe kelas VI tentang Sustainable Agriculture. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan edukasi ini adalah penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Setelah kegiatan edukasi didapatkan siswa SD Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe mengetahui tentang teknik budidaya, perawatan, dan panen pada tanaman pertanian menerapkan sistem sustainable agriculture. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner bahwa pengetahuan siswa pada bidang pertanian sebesar 80,94 %. Kesimpulan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai stutainable agriculture, menjadi upaya baik untuk memberikan pemahaman kesadaran pentingnya pengelolaan sektor pertanian dengan konsep ramah lingkungan. Kata kunci: Edukasi; sustainable agriculture; ramah lingkungan; siswa  ABSTRACT The low number of young farmers working in the agricultural sector continues to increase, this is not a good condition for Indonesia food security in the future. One of the main factors in the young generation low interest in agriculture is their lack of knowledge about agriculture, especially in early childhood at the elementary school level. Efforts to overcome this problem can be taken in the form of education for the next generation of agriculture. This is the main reason for educational outreach activities for students at the basic education level, specifically elementary schools. The aim of the activity is to foster understanding in 21 students of SD Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe class VI about Sustainable Agriculture. The method used in this educational activity is counseling using lecture and discussion methods. After the educational activities, students at SD Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe learned about cultivation, care and harvesting techniques for agricultural plants using a sustainable agriculture system. The results obtained through the questionnaire showed that students' knowledge in the field of agriculture was 80.94%. In conclusion, increasing students' understanding of sustainable agriculture is a good effort to provide awareness of the importance of managing the agricultural sector with an environmentally friendly concept.Keywords: Education; sustainable agriculture; environmentally friendly; student

Abstract

ABSTRAKKondisi literasi numerasi yang ada di desa Lebakardin Purwawinangun yaitu kurangnya anak dalam berliterasi dan numerasi, mereka lebih menyukai bermain game online/gadget daripada belajar di rumah dan juga sedikit menyukai belajar matematika (numerasi). Penyebab kurangnya anak belajar numerasi di rumah yaitu orang tua tidak peduli atau tidak mendampingi anak ketika belajar dan setiap pulang dari kerja orang tua sangat jarang menanyakan tugas sekolah anak. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan: 1) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi anak usia sekolah dasar; 2) untuk mengurangi kecanduan anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dalam bermain game online; 3) untuk membantu orang tua lebih memperhatikan anak-anaknya dalam belajar numerasi (matematika) di kelurahan Purwawinangun Kuningan. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan membuat bimbingan belajar matematika (numerasi). Subjek pengabdian adalah anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan orang tua berjumlah 15 orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu perencanaan, observasi, penentuan teknis pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan program dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang diperoleh telah berhasil: 1) meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi anak usia sekolah dasar; 2) mengurangi kecanduan anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dalam bermain game online; 3) membantu orang tua lebih memperhatikan anak-anaknya dalam belajar numerasi (matematika). Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Numerasi; PendampinganABSTRACTThe condition of numeracy literacy in Lebakardin Purwawinangun village is that children rarely do literacy and numeracy activities, they prefer playing online games/gadgets rather than studying at home and they also don't like studying mathematics (numeracy). The reason for the lack of children learning numeracy at home is that parents don't care or don't accompany their children when studying and every time they come home from work parents rarely ask about their children's school assignments. The community service program aims to: 1) improve the literacy and numeracy ability of elementary school-age children; 2) reduce the addiction of elementary school-aged children to playing online games; and 3) help parents pay more attention to their children's learning of numeracy (mathematics)  in Purwawinangun Kuningan village. Formal community service activities are carried out by making tutoring in learning mathematics (numeracy). The subjects of service were 15 elementary school-age children and the parents. Activities are carried out in stages, including planning, observation, technical implementation, program implementation, and evaluation. The results of community service obtained have succeeded in: 1) improving the numeracy literacy abilities of elementary school-aged children; 2) reducing the addiction of elementary school-aged children to playing online games; and 3) helping parents pay more attention to their children's learning of numeracy (mathematics) in Purwawinangun Kuningan village. Keywords: Numeracy literacy; Mentoring

Abstract

Self-medication is an action taken by a person to treat a disease without a doctor's prescription. Apart from self-medicating with drugs, people often treat illnesses with non-pharmacological therapy. Non-pharmacological therapy such as lifestyle modification which includes various actions that can support healing such as fever, pain and others. The aim of this service is to provide knowledge to PKK mothers in carrying out self-medication, using medication and treating minor illnesses appropriately independently, such as treating high fever in children with tepid sponges. The service activity was carried out in Siroto RT 3 RW 1, Candirejo Village and was carried out with a target group of 25 PKK women. Before counseling is carried out, screening or data collection is carried out using a questionnaire regarding knowledge of self-medication, introduction to drugs and examples as well as independent nursing care as pre-test data. After that, education was provided and data collection continued as a post-test. After obtaining the pre and post test data, proceed with data processing. Based on the evaluation before being given education, PKK mothers' understanding was in the poor category as many as 4 respondents (16.00%), sufficient as many as 14 respondents (56.00%) and good as many as 7 respondents (28.00%). Evaluation after being given education, the understanding of PKK mothers has increased, namely in the very good category of 25 respondents (100.00%).

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pengangguran dan tenaga kerja ialah suatu permasalahan yang dihadapi berbagai negara, terutama negara yang perkembangannya lambat. Pengurangan jumlah pengangguran dapat dikurangi dengan menggunakan metode alternatif seperti minat berkewirausahaan. Kewirausahaan merupakan suatu proses yang sangat inovatif dan kreatif dengan risiko tinggi dalam menciptakan nilai tambah produk maupun jasa terhadap pelanggan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreatif, jiwa kewirausahaan, dan rasa percaya diri terhadap peserta didik PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera. PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera adalah salah satu yayasan swasta yang berdiri pada tahun 2019 dan beroperasi pada tahun 2020. PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera menyediakan pembelajaran berbasis life skill serta kejar paket A, B, dan C. Diharapkan dengan melakukan bimbingan belajar tatap muka bersama siswa didik, kreativitasnya dalam berwirausaha akan meningkat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa observasi dan survey. Instrumen analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah kualititatif deskriptif, dengan demonstrasi pembuatan manik - manik tangan secara perlahan dan metodis. Subyek penelitiannya adalah siswa PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, masih sedikit anak-anak PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera yang mengetahui cara membuat gelang dari manik - manik. Melalui latihan ini siswa dapat mempelajari dan berlatih membuat gelanng manik-manik. Agar anak - anak mampu membuat manik - manik khususnya gelang. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta pelatihan dapat berwirausaha dengan menciptakan kerajinan tangan. Selain itu juga dapat diperoleh hasil dari proses pembuatan gelang yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik tanpa penundaan. Kata kunci: pelatihan wirausaha; gelang manik-manik; kreatif ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to improve the creative abilities, entrepreneurial spirit and self-confidence of PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera students. It is hoped that by conducting face-to-face tutoring with students, their creativity in entrepreneurship will increase. The method used is a slow and methodical demonstration of making hand beads. The research subjects were PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera students. Based on observations, there are still very few PKBM Alam Medan Sejahtera children who know how to make bracelets from beads. Through this exercise students can learn and practice making beaded bracelets. So that children can make beads, especially bracelets. The output of this training is that training participants can create handicrafts according to their goals. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pelajaran fisika merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang dianggap sulit oleh sebagian siswa, hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep fisika. Hal ini juga dialami oleh siswa SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari. Minimnya penggunaan laboratorium sebagai salah satu pendukung pembelajaran fsika menjadi salah satu faktor rendahnya pemahaman fisika di SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan PhET simulations sebagai laboratorium virtual untuk membantu pemahaman konsep fisika pada siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh kelas XII IPA yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode pelaksanaannya yaitu: (1) Melakukan survei terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra dan mencari solusi pemecahannya, (2) melaksanakan kegiatan yaitu pelatihan pengenalan praktikum laboratorium virtual berbasis PhET simulation, (3) evalusi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan menunjukakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada pemahaman konsep fisika siswa sebesar 75%, peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 87%, keaktifan siswa sebesar 83%, ketertarikan siswa sebesar 90%, kemampuan mengoperasikan PhET sebesar 82%  serta tingkat kepuasan mencapai 84%. Kata kunci: konsep fisika; laboratorium virtual; Phet simulation.  ABSTRACTPhysics lessons are considered difficult by some students, which impacts their understanding of physics concepts. This issue is also experienced by students at SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari. The limited use of laboratories as a support for learning physics is one of the factors contributing to the low understanding of physics at SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari. The aim of this community service project is to introduce PhET simulations as a virtual laboratory to help students in class XII IPA at SMA Kartika XX-2 Kendari understand physics concepts. This activity was attended by 30 students from class XII IPA. The implementation methods are as follows: (1) Conducting a survey to identify the problems faced by the partner and finding solutions, (2) Conducting an activity, namely training on the introduction of virtual laboratory practicals based on PhET simulations, (3) Evaluating the implementation of the activity. The results of the training showed an improvement in students' understanding of physics concepts by 75%, an increase in students' learning motivation by 87%, student activity by 83%, student interest by 90%, the ability to operate PhET by 82%, and a satisfaction level of 84%. Keywords: physics concepts; virtual laboratory; PhET simulation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pelestarian budaya lokal di tengah derasnya arus globalisasi menjadi tantangan utama, terutama dalam mempertahankan eksistensi gendang beleq sebagai warisan budaya Sasak. Generasi muda cenderung kurang mengenal dan mencintai budaya tradisional, sehingga diperlukan upaya sistematis untuk memperkenalkannya sejak usia dini. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kecintaan siswa SDN 1 Sukaraja terhadap budaya Sasak melalui pelatihan gendang beleq. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi dan praktik langsung. Kegiatan ini melibatkan siswa dari kelas 4 hingga 6 sebagai peserta dengan jumlah 24 siswa pada bulan Agustus dan 26 siswa pada bulan September, dengan bimbingan guru seni dan pelatih profesional dari komunitas seni lokal. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, mencakup aspek keterampilan teknis, pemahaman budaya, serta perubahan karakter siswa. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam beberapa aspek: 70% siswa menjadi sangat tertarik terhadap budaya lokal (sebelumnya hanya 40%), 60% siswa menguasai teknik dasar gendang beleq, dan 50% memahami filosofi budaya Sasak. Selain itu, 85% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kedisiplinan, kerja sama, dan kepercayaan diri. Program ini berhasil membangkitkan antusiasme siswa sekaligus menjadi langkah strategis dalam melestarikan warisan budaya Sasak. Kata kunci: Gendang beleq; budaya Sasak; pelestarian budaya. ABSTRACTPreservation of local culture amidst the strong currents of globalization poses a significant challenge, particularly in maintaining the existence of gendang beleq as a cultural heritage of the Sasak people. The younger generation tends to have limited knowledge and appreciation of traditional culture, necessitating systematic efforts to introduce it from an early age. This activity aims to enhance the appreciation of Sasak culture among students of SDN 1 Sukaraja through gendang beleq training. The implementation methods include socialization and hands-on practice. This activity involves students from grades 4 to 6 as participants with a total of 24 students in August and 26 students in September 2024, under the guidance of art teachers and professional trainers from the local art community. Evaluation was conducted through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered before and after the training, covering aspects of technical skills, cultural understanding, and changes in students' character. The training results showed significant improvements in several aspects: 70% of students developed a strong interest in local culture (up from 40%), 60% mastered the basic techniques of gendang beleq, and 50% gained an understanding of Sasak cultural philosophy. Furthermore, 85% of students demonstrated increased discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence. This program successfully sparked students' enthusiasm and served as a strategic step toward preserving the cultural heritage of the Sasak people. Keywords: Gendang beleq Sasak culture; cultural preservation

Abstract

ABSTRAKDi lingkungan sekolah, bullying dapat menyebabkan dampak serius pada kesehatan mental siswa termasuk stres, kecemasan, dan depresi, serta mengurangi prestasi akademik dan interaksi sosial. Selain itu, bullying dapat menciptakan suasana sekolah yang tidak aman yang berdampak negatif pada seluruh komunitas sekolah. Kegiatan sosialisasi tentang bullying bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan wawasan siswa MTs NW Senyiur Lombok Timur mengenai bullying, mencakup pengetahuan umum, perspektif agama, dan sudut pandang hukum. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, yang disampaikan kepada 174 siswa-siswi dari kelas 7, kelas 8, dan kelas 9. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui sesi tanya jawab untuk mengukur efektivitas pemahaman siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas sosialisasi bervariasi di setiap kelas. Kelas 7 mencatat efektivitas sebesar 90%, menandakan pemahaman yang baik namun masih perlu perbaikan. Kelas 8 menunjukkan efektivitas yang lebih tinggi, yaitu 93%, kemungkinan disebabkan oleh relevansi materi dan metode yang lebih efektif. Kelas 9 mencapai efektivitas tertinggi sebesar 97%, menunjukkan pemahaman mendalam yang mungkin dipengaruhi oleh kedewasaan dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemahaman tentang bullying meningkat seiring dengan tingkat kelas dan bahwa strategi sosialisasi yang lebih matang dapat berdampak positif pada pemahaman siswa. Kata kunci: Pencegahan Bullying; Pelatihan Efektif; Strategi Penanganan; Lingkungan Sekolah Sehat. ABSTRACTIn the school environment, bullying can have severe consequences for students' mental health, including stress, anxiety, and depression, and can also diminish academic performance and social interactions. Furthermore, bullying can create an unsafe school atmosphere, negatively impacting the entire school community. The objective of the bullying awareness program was to enhance the understanding and awareness of students at MTs NW Senyiur Lombok Timur regarding bullying, covering general knowledge, religious perspectives, and legal viewpoints. The method employed was a lecture format, delivered to 174 students from grades 7, 8, and 9. Evaluation was conducted through a question-and-answer session to assess the effectiveness of students' understanding. The evaluation results revealed varying effectiveness across grades. Grade 7 achieved an effectiveness rate of 90%, indicating a good understanding but with room for improvement. Grade 8 showed a higher effectiveness rate of 93%, likely due to the relevance of the material and more effective methods. Grade 9 reached the highest effectiveness rate of 97%, suggesting a deeper understanding possibly influenced by the students' maturity and active participation. These findings confirm that understanding of bullying increases with grade level and that more developed socialization strategies can positively impact students' comprehension. Keywords: Bullying Prevention; Effective Training; Coping Strategies; Healthy School Environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Peran apoteker di masyarakat khususnya adalah hal yang  berkaitan dengan pengobatan.  Apoteker merupakan salah satu bagian dari tenaga kesehatan. Akan tetapi profesi ini masih kurang dikenal dikalangan masyarakat. Apoteker banyak dibutuhkan di Indonesia, mengingat sebaran apoteker di Indonesia tidak merata terutama di daerah terpencil, dan kebutuhan akan apoteker belum tercukupi.Sebelum melakukan kegiatan telah dilakukan observasi dan diskusi dengan pihak sekolah mengenai tema yang akan diangkat pada kegiatan pengabdian kali ini. Pihak sekolah menyatakan bahwa siswa SD belum mengenal mengenai profesi apoteker. Oleh sebab itu, untuk meningkatkan jumlah apoteker di Indonesia, salah satunya dilakukan dengan mengenalkan profesi ini pada siswa SD. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah  untuk tujuan: 1) untuk mengenalkan profesi apoteker kepada siswa SD, sehingga dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai pilihan profesi kesehatan yang dapat dipilih dimasa depan 2) memberikan pengetahuan kepada para siswa mengenai proses peracikan obat sederhana yang sering mereka dapatkan. Kegiatan ini dilaksananan di SDN 02 Candirejo Ungaran, dengan sasaran siswa kelas 5, sejumlah 30 siswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan ceramah dan praktek membuat sediaan obat sederhana. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah siswa dapat lebih mengenal mengenai profesi apoteker, dapat menjelaskan tempat kerja apoteker serta tugas dari apoteker. Siswa juga diminta melakukan praktek peracikan sediaan obat sederhana (puyer) dan sediaan cair menggunakan alat-alat sederhana seperti mortir, stamper, gelas ukur, pipet tetes. Hal ini ini diharapakan agar siswa dapat tertarik menjadi apoteker, sehingga kebutuhan akan apoteker dimasa yang akan datang dapat tercukupi. Kata kunci: Profesi, Apoteker, Obat, Edukasi ABSTRACT The role of pharmacists in society, in particular, is related to medicine.  Pharmacists are one part of the health workforce. However, this profession is still not well known among the public. Pharmacists are much needed in Indonesia, considering that the distribution of pharmacists in Indonesia is uneven, especially in remote areas, and the need for pharmacists has not been fulfilled.Before carrying out the activity, observations and discussions were made with the school regarding the theme to be raised in this service activity. The school stated that elementary school students were not familiar with the pharmacist profession. Therefore, to increase the number of pharmacists in Indonesia, one of them is done by introducing this profession to elementary school students. The objectives of this activity are: 1) to introduce the pharmacist profession to elementary school students, so that it can provide an overview of the health profession options that can be chosen in the future 2) provide knowledge to students about the simple drug compounding process that they often get. This activity was carried out at SDN 02 Candirejo Ungaran, targeting 5th grade students, a total of 30 students. The method of implementing the activities carried out was by lecturing and practicing making simple drug preparations. The results of this activity are that students can get to know more about the pharmacist profession, can explain the workplace of pharmacists and the duties of pharmacists. Students were also asked to practice compounding simple drug preparations (puffers) and liquid preparations using simple tools such as mortars, stampers, measuring cups, drop pipettes. Abstract

ABSTRAKGuru-guru SMA di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam pembuatan soal ujian berkualitas, disebabkan oleh beban kerja tinggi, keterbatasan waktu, dan kesenjangan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan mengoptimalkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal ujian melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan (AI). Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, meliputi survei awal, pelatihan penggunaan AI, implementasi praktis, dan evaluasi komprehensif. Kegiatan melibatkan 38 guru SMA dari total 40 guru di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur, dengan tingkat partisipasi mencapai 95%. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru. Pemahaman tentang AI meningkat dari 65 menjadi 85, efisiensi waktu pembuatan soal meningkat 75%, variasi soal bertambah 100%, dan kualitas soal yang memenuhi standar naik dari 70% menjadi 90%. Sebanyak 85% guru menyatakan kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikan AI dalam proses pembuatan soal ujian. Pemanfaatan AI secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi pembuatan soal ujian, membuka peluang inovasi dalam praktik evaluasi pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Pembuatan Soal Ujian, Guru SMA, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. ABSTRACTHigh school teachers in East Seram Regency face significant challenges in creating quality exam questions, due to high workload, time constraints, and digital divide. The service activity aims to optimize the ability of teachers to compile exam questions through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The implementation method uses a training and mentoring approach, including an initial survey, training on the use of AI, practical implementation, and comprehensive evaluation. The activity involved 38 high school teachers out of a total of 40 teachers in East Seram Regency, with a participation rate of 95%. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' competencies. The understanding of AI increased from 65 to 85, the time efficiency of making questions increased by 75%, the variety of questions increased by 100%, and the quality of questions that met the standards rose from 70% to 90%. A total of 85% of teachers expressed readiness to implement AI in the process of making exam questions. Effective utilization of AI can improve the quality and efficiency of making exam questions, opening up opportunities for innovation in learning evaluation practices in senior high schools.  Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Exam Question Creation, High School Teachers, East Seram Regency
