Abstract

Prevalensi diabetes melitus tipe 2 terus meningkat akibat tingginya konsumsi gula.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of Dayak Onion Chips in Palangka Raya in preparing simple financial reports. The main problems faced by SMEs are the lack of orderly recording of business transactions, the mixing of personal and business finances, and the lack of understanding in calculating production costs, profit and loss, and cash flow. This training is carried out through counseling methods, transaction recording practices, simulations of simple income statements, and direct assistance to business actors. The training materials are tailored to the needs of SMEs, especially local processed businesses based on Dayak onions which have economic potential as a typical product of Central Kalimantan. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand the importance of financial recording, compile daily cash books, calculate the cost of production, separate personal and business finances, and make simple income statements. This activity is expected to increase the managerial capacity of SMEs, strengthen business competitiveness, and support the sustainability of the Dayak Onion Chips business in Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase public understanding of the role of women working and the importance of household skills training as a form of strengthening gender equality in Palangka Raya City. Gender equality is not only interpreted as equal rights between men and women, but also as an effort to provide equal access, opportunity, participation, control, and benefits in family, work, education, economy, and social life. Working women have a strategic role in supporting the family economy, improving household welfare, and contributing to regional development. However, women still face challenges in the form of double burdens, limited access to skills, and unbalanced division of household roles. Based on BPS data, the Participation Rate of the female labor force in Palangka Raya City in 2024 is 49.37 percent, while the male is 82.15 percent. This data shows that there is still a gap in economic participation between men and women. This activity is carried out through counseling, discussion, practical skills training, and mentoring. The results of the activity showed that participants gained an increased understanding of gender equality, the importance of division of roles in households, and productive skills that can be developed into household businesses. This activity is expected to strengthen the role of women in the family and society and encourage the creation of fairer gender relations in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

One of the postures on the neck that is not ergonomic is the Forward head posture (FHP), which is the position of the head in front of the shoulders. The disorder is caused by a static bending neck position that is too long. In addition to position, static activity with a long duration and lack of support on the arms and fingers when using a smartphone results in a continuous static load on the neck muscles so that there is a risk of forward head posture (FHP). The purpose of this community service is to socialize and find out the measurement of forward head posture (FHP) in adolescents. This activity was carried out by filling out pre-tests, post-tests, and measurements as well as socializing the presentation of material about forward head posture (FHP) to students. Forward head posture (FHP) was measured using a goniometer with marker C7 and tragus then measured at that angle. From the results of the forward head posture (FHP) measurement using a goniometer, the results were obtained: 12 students of normal FHP, 12 students of medium FHP, and 2 students of heavy FHP.
