Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an educational program introduced in 2022, which aims to provide autonomy to schools in preparing a curriculum that suits students' needs. This approach emphasizes student-oriented learning, with a focus on developing individual potential and life skills. In its implementation, the Independent Curriculum faces a number of challenges, such as the large number of students, limited resources, and teachers' difficulties in adapting to new methods. However, some schools have succeeded in implementing this curriculum well, showing that the right support can improve the quality of education. Private schools, with more flexibility, have the opportunity to design innovative learning programs, although they still face the same challenges. Parent and community involvement is very important to support the successful implementation of this curriculum.

Abstract

The research was carried out because of problems related to the lack of student learning outcomes in mathematics learning, due to the large number of students who experienced obstacles in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to find out the results of mathematics learning of students before and after using learning media using video media in grade II students of SD Negeri Jatipuro Klaten and to determine the influence of mathematics learning outcomes of students who use video-based learning media in grade II students of SD Negeri Jatipuro Klaten 2. The research methods used are literature studies, interviews, and observations. The interest in learning mathematics in students before there was a video learning media for grade II of SD Negeri 2 Jatipuro Klaten was still very low and there was a lack of motivation from educators, while the interest in learning mathematics of students after using learning videos in grade II students of SD Negeri 2 Jatipuro Klaten experienced a very good increase for students and there was an important influence on students' interest in learning mathematics using learning video media for participants Grade II student at SD Negeri 2 Jatipuro Klaten. With this, learning video media can be used for learning purposes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies implemented by teachers in managing the emotional changes of fifth-grade students during puberty at SD Negeri 4 Sungai Buluh. This research employs a qualitative approach, involving both teachers and fifth-grade students. Data collection methods include observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted inductively through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the emotional changes experienced by students during puberty require special attention from teachers. Strategies to address these issues include a patient and understanding approach, open communication, clear yet flexible boundaries, emotional understanding, confidence building, and social skills development

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena terdapat sebuah permasalahan mengenai kebosanan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemanfaatan dari sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi kebosanan siswa kelas V di SDN Demangan 1 Bangkalan serta untuk mengetahui media apa saja yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran setiap harinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Tekhnik pengumpulan datanya meliputi wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan alat penelitian berupa lembar wawancara, lembar observasi dan juga dokumentasi hasil kegiatan. Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is often a scary specter. Students generally assume that this subject is difficult to understand, monotonous, contains too many formulas, and has minimal application in real-life contexts. In this case, teachers have an important task in designing mathematics learning activities so that they can be interesting and popular with students. Educational strategies that combine mathematics learning with play activities are aimed at fostering students' interest in learning. The data collection method used is literature study. Using secondary data sources in the form of research results such as articles, journals, books and other relevant sources. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data analysis and content analysis techniques. The results of the literature review found the benefits of play methods in learning and examples of play methods in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika, terutama pada materi geometri, sering kali menjadi tantangan bagi siswa sekolah dasar karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan kurangnya keterkaitan dengan pengalaman sehari-hari. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah menggunakan pendekatan etnomatematika, yaitu menghubungkan konsep-konsep matematika dengan elemen budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi penerapan pola lantai rumah adat Nusantara, seperti Rumah Betang, Rumah Joglo, dan Rumah Honai, sebagai media pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep persegi panjang. Dengan menggunakan metode kajian literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis potensi pola lantai rumah adat sebagai alat bantu visual dalam mengajarkan konsep panjang, lebar, keliling, dan luas persegi panjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini tidak hanya mempermudah pemahaman siswa terhadap materi geometri, tetapi juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, pendekatan ini memiliki nilai tambah dalam memperkenalkan dan memperkuat apresiasi siswa terhadap budaya lokal, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih relevan, kontekstual, dan menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, integrasi pendekatan etnomatematika berbasis pola lantai rumah adat dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika sekaligus melestarikan budaya Nusantara.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that cause disruption to the mathematics learning process in grade 5 students at SD Negeri 6 Tanjung, as well as understanding the impact of these disruptions on student learning outcomes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through observations and interviews with students and homeroom teachers. The findings show that difficulties in learning mathematics are caused by internal factors, such as students' low interest, motivation, and negative attitudes towards learning, as well as external factors, including teachers' less varied learning strategies, a non-conducive classroom atmosphere, and the minimal role of the family in supporting learning in House. Uncreative learning strategies cause students to become passive, while a busy classroom atmosphere disrupts student focus. Family factors, such as lack of parental guidance, also worsen students' learning conditions. This research suggests the need for a more interactive learning approach, good classroom management, and active family involvement to create a conducive and effective learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji profesionalitas guru dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa melalui pendekatan emosional dan kognitif. Pendekatan emosional membangun hubungan positif antara guru dan siswa untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional. Pendekatan kognitif menanamkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya disiplin sebagai dasar keberhasilan akademik dan pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kedua pendekatan ini efektif meningkatkan disiplin siswa. Guru berperan penting sebagai teladan, namun tantangan berupa perbedaan karakter siswa dan keterbatasan waktu masih dihadapi. Rekomendasi meliputi pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru dan dukungan dari keluarga serta sekolah untuk memastikan pembentukan disiplin yang berkelanjutan dan holistik pada siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe online games as an alternative for increasing students' learning motivation in elementary school. Technological advances in the world of education certainly have a big influence, starting from learning media to strategies and learning methods that are different from previous times. The method applied in this research is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation at SDN Alalak Selatan 2. The research subjects consisted of Class V homeroom teachers and class V students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Observations are carried out to observe. student behavior and responses when using online games in learning. The researcher determines the class and students who will be observed, then creates an observation schedule that includes several learning sessions. During observations, researchers recorded students' interactions with online games, including their level of engagement and responses to tasks given through the game. Changes in learning motivation, such as increased participation, enthusiasm, and persistence in completing assignments, were also noted. Apart from observations, interviews were conducted to obtain in-depth views from students and teachers regarding the use of online games in learning. Interviews were conducted with participants who had been observed as well as several teachers involved in the learning process. This research concludes that the use of online games in education has great potential to increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the family plays a role in influencing student creativity. Creativity is critical to a child's intellectual and emotional development, and can also impact academic success and social adjustment. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method involving various families with different socio-economic backgrounds. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with parents and teachers as well as observing student activities at home. The findings of this research indicate that support from the family is crucial in facilitating student creativity, including through providing emotional attention, providing educational resources, and creating an environment that supports the exploration of ideas. Apart from that, open education and providing opportunities to try new things have also been proven to contribute to the development of children's creativity. It is hoped that this research can provide understanding for parents, educators and other interested parties to pay more attention to the role of the family in encouraging the growth and development of students' creativity.
