Abstract

Permasalahan dan kendala utama yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru TK ABA se-kota Mataram adalah tidak tersedianya media pembelajaran inovatif, keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang teknologi pembuatan media pembelajaran inovatif. Kegiatan PKM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru-guru TK ABA se-kota Mataram dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis canva. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan selama 8 bulan pada tahun akademik 2023/2024. Metode pelaksanaan PKM menggunakan metode presentasi yang diterapkan dalam pengenalan aplikasi, kemanfaataannya, dan penerapannya dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran inovatif. Metode demonstrasi mengenai pengoperasionalisasian aplikasi canva sedangkan metode praktik dimana guru-guru mempraktikkan secara langsung pembuatan media pembelajaran sesuai materi masing-masing yang diajarkan sampai menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis canva. Berdasarkan hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta mampu membuat media pembelajaran inovatif menggunakan aplikasi canva. Hal ini dikarenakan terjadi transfer knowledge tentang pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam membuat media pembelajaran inovatif menggunakan aplikasi canva yang merupakan salah satu aplikasi pendukung dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran inovatif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran inovatif yang dibuat menggunakan aplikasi canva dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi para guru TK ABA se-kota Mataram dalam memilih aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik.  Increasing the Competence of ABA Kindergarten Teachers in Mataram City through Training on Making Innovative Learning Media-based Canva  The main problems and obstacles faced by ABA kindergarten teachers in Mataram are the unavailability of innovative learning media and limited knowledge about the technology of making innovative learning media. PKM activities aim to improve the understanding and skills of ABA kindergarten teachers throughout the city of Mataram in making innovative Canva-based learning media. This PKM activity is carried out for 8 months in the 2023/2024 academic year. The PKM implementation method uses presentation methods applied in the introduction of applications, their usefulness, and their application in making innovative learning media. The demonstration method is regarding the operationalisation of the Canva application while the practice method is where teachers practice directly making learning media according to their respective materials taught to produce products in the form of innovative Canva-based learning media. Based on the findings, show that all participants can create innovative learning media using the Canva application. This is because there is a transfer of knowledge about understanding and skills in making innovative learning media using the Canva application which is one of the supporting applications in making innovative learning media. Thus, it can be concluded that innovative learning media created using the Canva application can be an alternative for ABA kindergarten teachers throughout the city of Mataram in choosing learning support applications for early childhood so that learning activities can run well.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Alikhtibar media in language learning at Mahaad Tahfiz Arabic Al Gontory Lil Banat, Malaysia. The activities involved 75 participants in the introduction and direct trial session on March 18, 2024, as well as first and second-grade high school equivalent students who attended the training on March 19, 2024.The results of this study indicate that the use of Alikhtibar media can improve students' listening, reading, and writing skills in Arabic. The exercises included listening to audio from native speakers, reading Arabic texts, and writing words or sentences in Arabic. The evaluation methods used were multiple choice, matching empty answers, filling in blanks, and drag and drop. The recommendation from this study is the broader implementation of Alikhtibar media in the Arabic language curriculum in other educational institutions. The use of interactive media and digital technology has proven effective in enhancing language skills and students' learning motivation. This implementation is expected to significantly contribute to improving the quality of language learning in educational institutions.

Abstract

Kehamilan dan persalinan merupakan peristiwa alamiah, tetapi pada kenyataannya banyak ibu khawatir menjalaninya. Terutama akibat rasa sakit yang teramat hebat yang terjadi pada saat kontraksi, kondisi ini menyebabkan para ibu merasa tegang dan mengalami kecemasan. Tujuan PKM: untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada pendamping keluarga terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu selama proses persalinan normal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukabumi. Metode PKM: Metode pengabdian pada masyarakat yaitu dengan memberikan Sosialisasi Peran Pendamping Keluarga Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Ibu Selama Proses Persalinan Normal di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukabumi, dimana sasaran pengabdian pada masyarakat yaitu pendamping keluarga pasien. Jumlah partisipan yang diundang buat berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas ini beberapa 35 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Chi square. Hasil penelitian: Dari hasil uji chi-square didapatkan p=0,172 (p value < 0,05), di mana dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara Peran Pendamping Keluarga Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Ibu Selama Proses Persalinan Normal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukabumi. Saran: Diharapkan kepada pendamping persalinan untuk selalu member dukungan kepada ibu baik bantuan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung atau dengan selalu menemani ibu hingga proses persalinan selesai, dan untuk ibu yang akan bersalin agar lebih banyak mencari informasi tentang persalinan yang bertujuan untuk kesiapan mental ibu saat akan menghadapi persalinan. Socialization of the Role of Family Companions on Mothers' Anxiety Levels During the Normal Childbirth Process in the Sukabumi Community Health Center Work Area Pregnancy and childbirth are natural events, but in reality many mothers are worried about going through them. Especially due to the intense pain that occurs during contractions, this condition causes mothers to feel tense and experience anxiety. The purpose of PKM: to provide understanding to family companions regarding the level of maternal anxiety during the normal delivery process in the Sukabumi Community Health Center working area. PKM Method: The community service method is by providing socialization on the role of family companions regarding maternal anxiety levels during the normal delivery process in the Sukabumi Community Health Center work area, where the target of community service is the patient's family companion. The number of participants invited to participate in this activity was around 35 people. The instrument in the research is a questionnaire. The research results were analyzed using the Chi square formula. Research results: From the results of the chi-square test, p = 0.172 (p value < 0.05), which can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the role of family companion and the level of maternal anxiety during the normal delivery process in the working area of the Sukabumi Community Health Center. Suggestion: It is hoped that birth attendants will always provide support to the mother either directly or indirectly or by always accompanying the mother until the birthing process is complete, and for mothers who are about to give birth to seek more information about childbirth with the aim of the mother's mental readiness when she is about to give birth. facing childbirth.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penelitian dan integritas akademik mahasiswa melalui pelatihan pembuatan manajer referensi menggunakan Microsoft Word. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi (PTI) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) dan melibatkan 38 mahasiswa semester 1 prodi PTI. Metode yang digunakan adalah instruksi langsung dengan penjelasan langkah demi langkah mengenai fitur seperti insert citation, manage sources, dan bibliography di Microsoft Word. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang manajemen referensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai N-gain, di mana 29 mahasiswa mencapai kategori sedang dengan nilai N-gain di atas 0,3 dan 9 mahasiswa mencapai kategori tinggi dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,7. Pelatihan ini membuat mahasiswa lebih mahir dalam mengelola referensi mereka secara efisien dan akurat, serta meningkatkan kualitas tugas dan karya ilmiah mereka. Rekomendasinya adalah untuk mengintegrasikan pelatihan serupa ke dalam kurikulum agar memberikan manfaat jangka panjang. Dukungan berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan tambahan dan sumber daya yang memadai sangat penting untuk memastikan perkembangan terus-menerus dalam keterampilan manajemen referensi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan mahasiswa lebih siap memenuhi standar profesional dan akademik di masa depan. Training on Making References Managers to Support Student Lecture Assignments The primary objective of this activity is to enhance research skills and academic integrity of students through training in creating reference managers using Microsoft Word. Conducted in the Information Technology Education (PTI) Study Program at the University of Mandalika Education (UNDIKMA), this activity involved 38 first-semester PTI students. The direct instruction method was used, providing step-by-step explanations on features like insert citation, manage sources, and bibliography in Microsoft Word. The training resulted in a significant increase in students' knowledge of reference management. This was evidenced by the N-gain scores, with 29 students achieving medium category scores above 0.3 and 9 students achieving high category scores of 0.7. The training made students more proficient in efficiently and accurately managing their references, improving the quality of their assignments and scientific papers.The recommendation is to integrate similar training into the curriculum for long-term benefits. Ongoing support through additional training and resources is essential to ensure continuous development in reference management skills. This will better prepare students to meet future professional and academic standards.

Abstract

Internet mempunyai banyak dampak positif bagi pengguna terutama terkait dengan peningkatan ilmu dan pengetahuan yang berkembang sesuai kemajuan zaman. Akan tetapi, penggunaan internet berlebihan juga menimbulkan beberapa dampak negatif bagi kesehatan fisik hingga kesehatan mental termasuk pada anak usia sekolah. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan literasi digital mengenai internet addiction serta penanganannya. Pengetahuan tentang dampak dan bagaimana self-control pada internet addiction sangat penting karena akan berdampak pada jangka panjang terhadap kesehatan anak usia sekolah. Untuk membekali anak usia sekolah dalam pengetahuan internet addiction serta penanganannya maka pengabdian masyarakat perlu dilakukan. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan dalam mengurangi dampak negatif akibat internet addiction pada siswa dan siswi SMK Bhakti Kencana Cileunyi. Pemberian edukasi dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan sharing sesion. Evaluasi pre dan post-test dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan. Hasilnya yang diperoleh adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai internet addiction dan penanganannya yang bermakna, dengan nilai p=0,02. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi/penyuluhan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para peserta. Internet Addiction Digital Literacy in School Age Children The internet has many positive impacts on users, especially related to increasing knowledge and knowledge which develops according to the times. However, excessive internet use also has several negative impacts on physical health and mental health, including for school-aged children. Therefore, digital literacy is needed regarding internet addiction and its treatment. Knowledge about the impact and how to self-control internet addiction is very important because it will have a long-term impact on the health of school-aged children. To equip school-age children with knowledge of internet addiction and how to treat it, community service needs to be carried out. The activity aims to increase understanding and application in reducing the negative impact of internet addiction on students of SMK Bhakti Kencana Cileunyi. Providing education is carried out using lecture methods, demonstrations and sharing sessions. Pre and post-test evaluations are carried out to determine increases in knowledge. The results obtained were a significant increase in knowledge about internet addiction and its treatment, with a value of p = 0.02. This shows that education/counseling can increase the knowledge of participants.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Wonorejo, Kabupaten Malang, bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan sampah, di mana wilayah ini menghasilkan 1004,86 ton sampah setiap hari. Tujuan kegiatan meliputi pengenalan teknologi pengepres sampah, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, dan mendorong praktik berkelanjutan sesuai SDG 12. Kegiatan melibatkan 30 peserta melalui pendekatan partisipatif, termasuk pengembangan modul dan sesi edukasi, yang meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat sebesar 75% serta mengurangi sampah tak terkelola sebesar 60% di area percontohan. Tantangan berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur diatasi dengan upaya pengadaan mesin pengepres sampah. Pelatihan praktik direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengelolaan sampah. Community Empowerment in Wonorejo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency through Waste Management Education This community service program in Wonorejo Village, Malang Regency, aimed to address significant waste management issues, with the region producing 1004.86 tons of waste daily. Objectives included introducing waste pressing technology, enhancing community awareness, and fostering sustainable waste practices aligned with SDG 12. Activities engaged 30 participants through a participatory approach, including module development and education sessions, resulting in a 75% increase in community knowledge and a 60% reduction in unmanaged waste in pilot areas. Challenges included limited infrastructure, with efforts to procure a waste pressing machine ongoing. Practical training is recommended to further enhance waste management skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM di Desa Jatisela dalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang tepat, khususnya melalui media sosial Facebook dengan memanfaatkan fitur Facebook Marketplace, sehingga dapat meningkatkan omset dan laba penjualan produk. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 10 orang ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri yang aktif sebagai produsen donat kentang di UMKM "Donat Kentang Enak Murah." Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi persiapan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan Facebook Marketplace, pendampingan dalam pembuatan akun media sosial dan praktek penggunaan Facebook Marketplace, serta evaluasi kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan media sosial Facebook, terutama fitur Facebook Marketplace, meningkat secara signifikan. Dari hasil post-test, 90% peserta memahami manfaat dan cara penggunaan fitur ini. Penjualan donat kentang melalui Facebook Marketplace meningkat rata-rata 250-300% dalam satu kali produksi harian, dengan peningkatan omset dari Rp. 350.000 menjadi Rp. 950.000. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan Facebook Marketplace terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM. Rekomendasi untuk ke depan adalah mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan serta memperluas cakupan pelatihan kepada UMKM lain. Utilization of Facebook Marketplace Features in Efforts to Increase Marketing of Potato Donut MSME Products in Jatisela Village  The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of MSME players in Jatisela Village in implementing appropriate marketing strategies, especially through Facebook social media by utilizing the Facebook Marketplace feature, so as to increase turnover and profit from product sales. This activity involved 10 housewives and young women who were active as potato donut producers in the MSME "Delicious Cheap Potato Donuts." Methods for implementing this activity include preparation and socialization, training in using Facebook Marketplace, assistance in creating social media accounts and practicing using Facebook Marketplace, as well as evaluating activities through pre-test and post-test. The results of the activity showed that participants' knowledge and skills in using Facebook social media, especially the Facebook Marketplace feature, increased significantly. From the post-test results, 90% of participants understood the benefits and how to use this feature. Sales of potato donuts via Facebook Marketplace increased by an average of 250-300% in one daily production, with an increase in turnover from Rp. 350,000 to Rp. 950,000. In conclusion, the use of Facebook Marketplace has proven to be effective in increasing sales of MSME products. Recommendations for the future are to maintain and improve the quality of training and expand the scope of training to other MSMEs. .

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan mitigasi bencana kebakaran kepada siswa SMPN 5 Kubu Raya yang berlokasi di wilayah Tebang Kacang. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa SMPN 5 Kubu Raya, dengan jumlah mitra sebanyak 30 orang siswa. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi ceramah edukatif, pemutaran video edukatif, dan simulasi pemadaman kebakaran. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis kepada siswa tentang risiko kebakaran hutan dan cara-cara pencegahannya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai mitigasi kebakaran, dengan peningkatan pemahaman dari rata-rata kurang dari 50% menjadi lebih dari 80%. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya edukasi yang berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat, terutama generasi muda, dalam upaya pencegahan kebakaran hutan. Edukasi yang terus-menerus dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan tindakan preventif yang lebih efektif untuk melindungi ekosistem dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Socialization and Education on Forest Fire Disaster Mitigation among SMPN 5 Kubu Raya Students This community service activity (PKM) aims to socialize disaster mitigation for forest fires to students of SMPN 5 Kubu Raya, located in the Tebang Kacang area. The partners in this activity are 30 students from SMPN 5 Kubu Raya. The implementation methods include educational lectures, educational video screenings, and fire extinguishing simulations. This activity is designed to provide students with understanding and practical skills regarding forest fire risks and prevention measures. The results show a significant increase in students' understanding of fire mitigation, with comprehension levels rising from an average of less than 50% to over 80%. Recommendations from this activity emphasize the need for continuous education and active community involvement, especially among the younger generation, in forest fire prevention efforts. Ongoing education and collaboration with various stakeholders are expected to enhance awareness and more effective preventive actions to protect ecosystems and community well-being.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa SMPN 5 Kubu Raya tentang pentingnya Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) dalam menjaga kesehatan. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa SMPN 5 Kubu Raya yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktek langsung penanaman TOGA di pekarangan sekolah. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dan setelah kegiatan untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa tentang manfaat TOGA, dari 20% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 90% setelah kegiatan. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya melanjutkan dan mengembangkan program serupa di sekolah-sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa tentang manfaat TOGA serta mempromosikan pola hidup bersih dan sehat melalui pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional. Socialization of clean and healthy lifestyle through the manufacture of family medicinal plants This community service activity (PKM) aims to increase the awareness and knowledge of students of SMPN 5 Kubu Raya about the importance of family medicinal plants (Toga) in maintaining health. Mitra in this activity was a student of SMPN 5 Kubu Raya, totaling 20 people. The implementation method consists of counseling, demonstrations, and direct practice of planting toga in the school yard. Evaluation is carried out using a questionnaire before and after activities to measure increased student understanding. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the benefits of Toga, from 20% before the activity became 90% after the activity. The recommendation of this activity is the need to continue and develop similar programs in other schools to increase student awareness and knowledge about the benefits of Toga and promote a clean and healthy lifestyle through the use of traditional medicinal plants.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mendukung pemberdayaan kreativitas guru Sekolah Indonesia di Malaysia melalui penggunaan Mobile Learning dengan Smart Apps Creator untuk implementasi pembelajaran terdiferensiasi. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah 20 guru Sekolah Indonesia di Malaysia. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penilaian awal kesiapan guru, seminar tentang mobile learning dan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi, workshop pengembangan konten menggunakan Smart Apps Creator, serta evaluasi dan umpan balik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa 90% guru mampu menggunakan elemen multimedia dalam pembelajaran, 85% guru berhasil mengimplementasikan desain yang mobile-friendly, dan 90% guru mampu menciptakan konten pembelajaran yang relevan dan aktual. Selain itu, 90% guru berhasil berinovasi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran, melebihi target yang ditetapkan sebesar 70%. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya pelatihan lanjutan dan dukungan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan guru dapat terus mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kualitas pendidikan di Sekolah Indonesia di Malaysia dapat terus ditingkatkan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Empowering the Creativity of Indonesian School Teachers In Malaysia Through Mobile Learning Assisted by Smart Apps Creator to Support the Implementation of Differentiated Learning  The objective of this project is to support the empowerment of Indonesian school teachers in Malaysia through the use of Mobile Learning with Smart Apps Creator for the implementation of differentiated learning. The project partners are 20 teachers from Indonesian schools in Malaysia. The implementation method includes an initial assessment of teacher readiness, a seminar on mobile learning and differentiated instruction, a workshop on content development using Smart Apps Creator, and evaluation and feedback. The results of this activity show that 90% of teachers are able to use multimedia elements in teaching, 85% successfully implemented mobile-friendly designs, and 90% created relevant and up-to-date learning content. Additionally, 90% of teachers were innovative in developing educational media, exceeding the set target of 70%. Recommendations from this project include the need for ongoing training and continuous support to ensure that teachers can consistently develop and implement innovative and effective teaching methods. This is expected to enhance the quality of education in Indonesian schools in Malaysia to better face future challenges.
