Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tax rates, profitability, liquidity, and the size of the company's capital structure. This study uses leverage as a proxy of they capitaly structure. The sample in this study are 193 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2012 period. Samplin was done by purposive sampling method. Classic assumption test using the test for normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation. The regression analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the discussion of research results prove that the corporate income tax rate negatively affect capital structure. Profitability negative effect on the capital structure. Then liquidity negatively affect the capital structure. While the size of the positive effect on the company's capital structure.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the understanding of the actors from theirs experience involved in the management of heritage assets in Museum Semarajaya. The study evaluated the accounting treatment in the context of the recognition, assessment and disclosure. The case study is used as an approach in which the data obtained in accordance with the reality. Researchers use a method of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. Data obtained from the interpretation of the informant then analyzed in depth. Results of the study indicate that the informant understands the definition of heritage assets from the standpoint of understanding the criteria of fixed assets and cultural heritage. Other findings that heritage assets that can be recognized in the balance sheet was obtained in the current period using historical cost. However, disclosure of heritage assets not in accordance with the government accounting standards. The existence of the heritage assets that can not be identified value has not been disclosed in the Notes to Financial Statements.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the role of brand image in mediates the influence of WOM on switching intention to smartphones, the Samsung brand in Denpasar. The study population was people in Denpasar which do not have a smartphone Samsung brands. Respondents in this study were 120 people. The data analysis technique used is by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that WOM positive and significant impact on the brand image, WOM positive and significant effect on the switching intention, brand image and significant positive effect on the switching intention, brand image positive and significant impact WOM mediate with the switching intention. Spread of WOM that can positively affect the brand image of Samsung better thus making consumers who do not use a smartphone Samsung has an interest to use a Samsung smartphone and future research are expected to use more sample size that covers an area larger research

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of person-job fit on OCB and organizational commitment, the effect of person-organization fit on OCB and organizational commitment. As weel as the effect of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This research was conducted in PT. Trisaka Reksa Waluyo. Samples are taken by 73 employees with saturated sampling method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and using path analysis as data analysis techniques. These result indicate that person-job fit have positive and significant  effect on organizational commitmet and OCB, person-organization fit have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment but not significant to OCB. Furthermore, organizational commitment shown have positive and significant  effect on OCB. The practical implication of this research is to help organizations to recruit and have a good evaluations standart to have qualified human resource.

Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically that an increasing percentage of cash compensation received by executives of banks when the bank's revenue increase was higher compared with the percentage decrease in cash compensation received when the bank's revenue declined (sticky cost behavior). As well as to see the different levels of sticky cost in executive compensationstate BUMN Bank and non BUMN Bank that listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data. Sampling technique used purposive sampling. Total samples is as many as 31 companies. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of multiple linear regression and Mann Whitney test. The analysis showed that an increasing percentage of cash compensation received by executives of banks when the bank's revenue increase was higher than the percentage decrease in cash compensation received when the bank's revenue declined or there are cost stickiness behavioral on executive compensation further results of the study showed no difference in the level of cost stickiness on executive compensation BUMN Banks and non BUMN.

Abstract

The aim of this study is determine how profitability mediating the effects of the company's growth and capital structure to Corporate Social Responsibility. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample was conducted by purposive sampling method and then the number of samples is 37 companies. The research data is secondary data obtained from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Indonesian Capital Market Directory from 2013 until 2015. Data analysis by path analysis technique with SPSS 23 software. The results of this study showed that: (1) the company's growth and capital structure had positive and significant impact on CSR. (2) the company's growth and capital structure had positive and significant impact on profitability. (3) profitability had positive and significant impact on CSR. (4) profitability is able to mediate the effect of company's growth and capital structure on Corporate Social Responsibility significantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of job insecurity on turnover intention, the effect of compensation on turnover intention, job insecurity influence of job insecurity on job satisfaction, job satisfaction influence on turnover intention, and the influence of compensation on job satisfaction. Samples are taken by 89 employees in Besakih Beach Hotel. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and using path analysis. The results of this study showed that job insecurity positive effect on turnover intention, compensation negative effect on turnover intention, job insecurity negatively affect job satisfaction, job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention, and compensation has positive effect on job satisfaction. The implications of this findings are management should taking into account the level of job insecurity by taking into account a comfortable working atmosphere, giving fair compensation, and always improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

As the world's largest archipelago nation, Indonesia has abundant fishery resource potential and has the longest coastline in the world after Canada. The fisheries sector become the foundation for some people who depend on fishing effort both catching and aquaculture. As society in general, fishing communities were not static. Housekeeping fisheries are actors who actively striving and working to improve their living standards, especially to increase production in order to increase income and welfare. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of factors of production, social demography, and social capital, social demography, and social capital through productivity on household welfare fishermen in Tabanan.

Abstract

The success of development can be seen from several indicators, one of which is the increasing life expectancy of the population. The increase life expectancy has resulted in the increasing number of the elderly population from year to year. Improvement of social welfare for the elderly people can also be achieved in many ways. The maximum improvement and utilization of access to health care is one of them to support all the psychological and physical health of the elderly. This study aimed at analyzing: 1) the influence of income, education level and employment status on the access to health care for the elderly people 2) the influence of income, level of education, employment status, and access to health care for the welfare of the elderly 3) the influence of income, education level and employment status on the welfare of the elderly people in Denpasar through access to health care for the elderly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the mediating role of motivation in relation to the performance of the employee reward system (study at three companies Finance in Tabanan City. This research was conducted in the Federal International Finance (FIF), Adira Finance (Adira) and Summit Oto Finance (OTO) Tabanan Branch is engaged in financing leasing, factoring, consumer financing with technical analysis structural equation modeling (SEM). Through the method with sample slovin of 65 respondents. The results of the analysis concludes reward systems significant positive effect on employee performance. Reward systems significant positive effect on employee motivation. Work motivation significant positive effect on the performance of the company's employees in finance Tabanan City. To increase motivation, reward systems should be as feedback on performance results must be improved, providing a challenging job to be done so that employees always try to give maximum work. Improve performance, as well as increase the personal competence that can be done through compliance with rules and procedures applicable to the company's progress.
