Abstract

Abstrack Pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam lingkup negara akan mempengaruhi aktivitas perekonomian suatu negara. Produk Domestik Bruto menjadi salah satu alat ukur keberhasilan negara dalam menjalankan perekonomian. Sektor perekonomian menjadi urat nadi perekonomian dalam menjalankan aktvitasnya. Peningkatan kontribusi sektor-sektor ekonomi perlu didukung investasi yang tepat guna melalui penanaman modal baik modal asing maupun dalam negeri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis validitas Tourism led Growth (TLG) hypothesis pada 8 negara ASEAN dan menganalisa pengaruh investasi modal, jumlah tenaga kerja dan ekspor dan sektor pariwisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah analisis data panel EGLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya indikasi terdapat TLG hipotesis untuk penelitian di delapan negara ASEAN yaitu Kamboja, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, Filipina dan Vietnam. Indikator investasi modal, jumlah tenaga kerja memiliki dampak yang signifikan dan positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan indikator ekspor tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Indikator penerimaan pariwisata internasional dan investasi modal pariwisata mempengaruhi secara signifikan dan searah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kontribusi sektor pariwisata agar lebih meningkat, maka diperlukan modal pariwisata yang cukup besar sehingga akan berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi yang positif. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of  institutional ownership, managerial ownership, capital structure, and profitability on firm value. The data used in the form of external secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2012 period with observations made on 82 manufacturing companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. The data analysis technique used is the Linear Regression analysis using       SPSS 17. Based on the results of Regression linear  analysis showed  that institutional ownership has a positive effect on firm value. When the higher institutional ownership, then external control will be the stronger on firm . The presence of institutional ownership will encourage more optimal control on the performance of the company in achieving corporate goals is to optimize the value of the company.

Abstract

Bali Provincial Government has been providing public transport Trans Sarbagita which aims to reduce the use of private vehicles, congestion and facilitate economic activities. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the dimensions of the vehicle, the attitude of the vehicle crews and freight rates to transport performance Trans Sarbagita, to analyze the influence of the dimensions of the vehicle, the attitude of the vehicle crew, transport fares and freight performance Trans Sarbagita against public interest, and to analyze the dimensions of the vehicle, the attitude of the vehicle crews and freight rates affect the interest of the public transport users through the performance Trans Sarbagita. The analysis technique used is path analysis with SPSS. The results showed that the dimensions of the vehicle, the attitude of the vehicle crews and transport fares positive and significant impact on the performance of transport Trans Sarbagita. The dimensions of the vehicle, vehicle crews attitude, the freight rates and the performance of transport Trans Sarbagita positive and significant impact on the public interest. The dimensions of the vehicle, the attitude of the vehicle crews and freight rates affect the interest of the public transport users through the performance Trans Sarbagita.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the ability of good corporate governance in the moderating influence of intellectual capital disclosure and auditor reputation on the value of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2014 period. Signalling Theory, Contingency Theory and Legitimacy Theory is a theory that underlies this study. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, and the sample size in the study was 56 companies. The analysis technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results obtained indicate that good corporate governance is not able to moderate the influence of intellectual capital disclosure in the company's value. But good corporate governance reinforces the influence of auditor reputation on the value of the company.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the influence of the service quality for the student satisfaction and loyalty. To keep compete on the path, IOB should maintain the good service quality to its students, in order to gain the loyalty from its students. Therefore, with the good quality services, IOB could stand on the competition. Respondent of this study are the active IOB students, with age minimum 17 years old and maximum 35 years old. The total respondent for this study is 104 respondents, using the purposive sampling technique, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as the data analysis tool. The result of this study showed that the hypothesis put forward entirely acceptable: 1) service quality has positive and significant impact on student satisfaction, 2) service quality has positive and significant impact on student loyalty, 3) student satisfaction has positive and significant impact on student loyalty. Managerial implication from this study is the management of IOB should have regular evaluation for its service quality, and also perform correction and improvement to reduce students complains, in order to increase the student satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

The implementation of good governance is a prerequisite for the government in realizing the aspirations of the people and achieving the ideals of the nation and state. After a review of the external and internal audit results, there is a tendency to increase the number of recommendations given to the findings of the examination results. Recommendations are given by external and internal auditors in the framework of improvement and follow-up on the findings of examinations. This study analyzed the direct and indirect influence between the variables of Regional Financial Management, SPIP, SAKIP, and Good Governance in Bali Provincial Government by using primary data of quantitative in the form of associative supported by secondary data. Analytical techniques are descriptive and alternative structural equations of SEM PLS. The results showed that the variable of Regional Financial Management and SPIP have a positive and significant effect on SAKIP with R-Square value of 0.647. In addition, the variables of Regional Financial Management, SPIP, SAKIP also have a positive and significant effect on Good Governance with R-Square value of 0.784.

Abstract

The tourism is a new type of industry which able to bring up economic growth rapidly in providing jop opportunity, increasing income, living standard, and estimulate another productive sectors. When the object of hot spring is well developed, it can lift up the national income and local revenue in order to improve the welfare and prosperity of society. This study aimed to analyze the tourism development strategy of hot spring  in  Marobo village, of  Bobonaro District. This study used 10 people a sample from government, community leaders and businessmen. Data were collected by conducting interviews and questionnaires. Subsequently collected data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis as well as internal and external matrix (IE). The result of this study showed that the analysis of the external environment, obtained a value of 3.91 and internal environment of 3:03. So the adequate development strategy can be applied is tourism development such as in the period  Merry  Christmas and New Year Day with competite  price and more varied so as to meet the target. Tourism development can be done by diversifying tourism objects and system modifications so enable tourists to have travel easily. The result of  the study as mentioned above reminds all relevant parties to have  serious attention on the development of Marobo hot spring. In order to make the tourism object as modern and attractive destination, it is  advised to all relevant parties to upgrade the cooperation with  Travel Agencies and Investors in providing the widely opportunities tho the development of the tourism object. In addition, it is necessary to advice to government to recruit employees who are espesialized in the are of tourism. It is important to advice also the government at Municipality level in particularly The Official Tourism and Culture of Bobonaro to be able to activate the website optimally on potential attractions of Marobo Hot Spring.

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to find the effect of NPWP ownership, audit, collection and corporate taxpayer’s awareness to tax revenue in Gianyar KPP Pratama. Technique analysis used in this is multiple linear regressions. Before analysis process, Normality and Heterocedasticity Test were carried out using the SPSS program. The results of statistical analysis, showing the effect of NPWP ownership, audit, collection, and corporate taxpayers awareness with a significance level of t each of 0.039; 0,004; 0.046; 0,000. This means that the taxpayer's awareness bring positive and significant effect on tax revenue. For DJP which assigned to carry out taxation tasks, especially KPP Gianyar Pratama which has carried out its duties well so that in the future it will increase ownership of NPWP by conducting counseling taxpayers who have not registered and counseling to increase corporate taxpayer awareness. So that it can increase tax revenue, especially in KPP Pratama Gianyar

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, motivation influence on intention to quit and influence job satisfaction with the intention to quit. Respondents in this study were all medical staff who served in Karangasem district health centers. In this study, all of population members are samples. Instruments research using questionnaires and analysis is PLS (Partial Least Square). The variables used are the work motivation, job satisfaction and intention to quit. The results of this study indicate that work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work motivation variable has a negative and significant effect on intention to quit. Job satisfaction variable has a negative and significant effect on intention to quit. To reduce the intention to quit is to increase motivation and job satisfaction. Intention to quit the decline is expected to improve the quality of care that can be given by medical staff. Its application can be done with a fair treatment from a health center head against medical staff, equal opportunities in terms of career promotion and fair distribution of services

Abstract

The rapid development of hotel industry in Bali is very competitive, particularly on the growth of budget hotels in Kuta Tourism Area which has increased in significant amount. The key to maintain competitive advantage in the competitive environment lies in how to deliver service quality in order to achieve customer loyalty. The effect of service quality to customer loyalty increases with the role of image and customer satisfaction. This study was conducted in budget hotels in Kuta Tourism Area through 200 respondents. The results of this study showed that service quality, hotel image, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect toward customer loyalty. Hotel image and customer satisfaction are as well stated as a mediator in the service quality and customer loyalty relationship.
