Abstract

La Brisa was launched in 2017 in Canggu, Bali. However, the place has gained popularity due to the beachside setup. Among the attractions which open its doors to guests is the namely La Brisa Sunday Market with multicultural shops and the social area where guests meet while strolling the area with the eco-friendly products and goods, world-class cuisine, and handmade products offered at the market. Thus, how La Brisa enchant diversification, Innovation, and sustainable development to encourage local people business and interpenetration between cultures? In this paper the author is looking at why the location is a favorite amongst visitors and how it manages to make the Balinese culture relevant to the international market while at the same time creating a unique theme that both is meaningful and enjoyable. For this research, observations of the market were conducted, the authors conducted interviews with vendors, visitors, and La Brisa employees to gain first-hand experience, and they collected articles from online sources and populated a database from the market. Our interviews gave information about participant demographics, their purpose of coming to the market, as well as their perception towards it, while field trips gave a live perspective on the actual happening of the market environment. La Brisa Sunday Market can be ‘an exemplification of a successful neighborhood project that had purchased the good representation of people.’ In essence, La Brisa Sunday Market exemplifies how community, business, and culture can coexist harmoniously, offering a model for sustainable and inclusive neighborhood projects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of customer satisfaction and trust in brand partially or simultaneously on customer retention of Hyatt Regency Bali customers. This research is of a quantitative type. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Sampling was done with purposive sampling with a sample of 97 respondents. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire with a closed statement. Data analysis used parametric inferential statistical analysis. Simultaneous testing showed a significant influence of the variables of customer satisfaction and trust in brand on customer retention with a Sig. value of 0.000<0.1 and a Calculation value of 106.219>Table 2.36. Partial testing showed a significant influence of customer satisfaction variables on customer retention with a Sig. value of 0.000<0.1 and a calculation of 3.853>table 1.66123. Partial testing also showed a significant influence of the trust in brand variable on customer retention with a Sig. value of 0.000<0.1 and a calculation of 7.303> t-table 1.66123. This result is strengthened by the acquisition of a determination coefficient value of 68.7% of customer retention, which can be explained by variations in customer satisfaction and trust in brand. The remaining 31.3% were explained by other causes that were not mentioned in this study. It can be concluded that Hyatt Regency Bali increases customer retention by increasing customer satisfaction and trust in the brand so that it can be known the strategies that must be done to increase the customer retention rate.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the impact of the TikTok social media application on early childhood development. Based on the results of my findings and previous research, it is evident that TikTok has both positive and negative effects on children. The positive impacts include various educational benefits, such as facilitating learning through engaging content, enhancing counting skills, promoting reading, and providing a platform for children to express and develop their creativity. TikTok offers a diverse range of videos that can introduce children to new concepts and ideas, making learning enjoyable and interactive. However, there are several significant negative effects associated with TikTok usage among young children. One major concern is the influence on children's social behaviour, particularly in their interactions with peers and their environment. Excessive use of the app may lead to addiction, causing children to lose track of time and neglect essential daily activities such as eating, bathing, and resting. This overindulgence can result in a decline in physical health and well-being. Additionally, children may show a marked lack of interest in engaging with their peers, opting instead to spend their time on TikTok. This shift in focus can lead to reduced social interaction, making it difficult for children to develop vital social skills. For instance, children may struggle to respond when called or become less aware of their surroundings as they become engrossed in the app. Moreover, frequent TikTok usage can hinder children's ability to communicate effectively with others, as their interactions become predominantly screen-based rather than face-to-face. This phenomenon underscores the need for parental supervision and guidance when children use TikTok. Parents must be vigilant, as many of the contents available on the platform may not be educational or suitable for early childhood, potentially exposing children to inappropriate material. Overall, a balanced approach is essential to maximize the benefits of TikTok while mitigating its adverse effects.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of photography and videography as hobbies on individuals' well-being, creativity, and personal growth. It investigates how these art forms contribute to skill development, self-expression, and social engagement, and examines the perceived benefits and challenges associated with practicing these hobbies. A qualitative approach is used, incorporating in-depth interviews with both amateur and professional photographers and videographers. Thematic analysis is employed to identify and analyse the patterns and themes within the interview data, providing a deeper understanding of the participants' experiences. Thematic analysis is conducted in a structured process. This includes initial familiarization with interview transcripts, generation of codes, identification of recurring themes, refinement of those themes, and the development of a comprehensive narrative. This process ensures that key insights relating to well-being, creativity, and personal growth are captured. The study concludes that photography and videography play a transformative role in enhancing well-being and mental health by offering stress relief and increasing life satisfaction. These hobbies also encourage creativity, self-expression, and skill development. Furthermore, they foster personal growth by boosting confidence, self-esteem, and social connections. Although challenges such as financial constraints and time commitments exist, the overall impact of these activities is overwhelmingly positive, contributing significantly to personal development and community involvement.

Abstract

This study explores how humble street-style fried rice can be transformed into a premium star-hotel dish by integrating advances in food processing, quality control, and culinary tourism strategy. The aims are to enhance safety and shelf-life, standardize sensory quality, and reposition fried rice as a signature upscale offering. Methodologically, the paper synthesizes recent developments in prepared fried rice technologies, including novel thermal and non-thermal processing, freezing, and quality-monitoring tools, alongside case-based insights from tourism-driven dish upgrading and local rice innovations as culinary icons. Analysis focuses on microbial safety, starch retrogradation, texture, colour, and flavour stabilization, as well as menu standardization, presentation, and branding for tourist and hotel markets. The study concludes that combining advanced processing (e.g., physical field and static magnetic field freezing) with standardized recipes and tourism-oriented branding can elevate fried rice from roadside fare to a consistent, marketable star-hotel dish.

Abstract

Training is an important factor determining the long-term success and profitability of a company. Conversely, employees who maximize their performance also pay attention to their position and achievements in the company, whether they are able to improve so that they get a bigger feeling, or just stay put. Training activities at PT Angkasa Pura I Branch of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Bali experienced ups and downs due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused system and order changes. This affects the fluctuating performance of employees. On the other hand, the element of subjectivity in career development also affects the performance of the employees themselves. This study examines the effect of Education and Training and Career Development on the performance of employees of PT Angkasa Pura I Branch of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Bali. The research sample is 109 company employees. Questionnaires were distributed online using the proportional stratified random sampling method. Data were processed with SPSS, multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that education and training had a significant positive effect on employee performance, career development had a significant positive effect on employee performance, and training and career development had a positive effect simultaneously on employee performance. The output of this thesis is in the form of Evaluation Training which is expected to be able to improve the actual problems faced by the company. Abstract

Tiga kriteria yang diidentifikasi oleh para akademisi sebagai penjelasan potensial rendahnya Perilaku Kewarganegaraan Organisasi: Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi, dan Keadilan Organisasi. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami keterkaitan antara kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan keadilan organisasional yang berkaitan dengan kecenderungan pekerja PT untuk terlibat dalam kewarganegaraan organisasi. Pabrik Aerofood di Denpasar di Indonesia. Pemodelan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Untuk mengumpulkan informasi, 83 peserta dikirimkan kuesioner. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji-t, uji-F, koefisien determinasi, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis regresi multivariat menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja pekerja PT mempunyai pengaruh positif yang besar terhadap tingkat perilaku kewargaan organisasional mereka.
