Abstract

Setelah masa pandemi dan pembelajaran dilakukan secara luring (luar jaringan) kembali, kegiatan keagamaan siswa di sekolah makin menurun. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan terdapat siswa yang kurang sopan terhadap guru dan teman, tidak tertib beribadah, dan tidak mematuhi  guru. Maka diperlukan bimbingan konseling Islam agar kegiatan keagaamaan siswa di sekolah dapat berjalan efektif kembali. Selain itu, diharapkan kecerdasan spritual siswa dapat meningkat dengan adanya bimbingan konseling Islam.  Hal inilah yang menjadi inti permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peran bimbingan konseling Islam dalam meningkatkan Spiritual Quotient pada siswa SMP Islam Ambulu Jember, dan penerapan Spritual Quotient di SMP Islam Ambulu Jember dalam mencetak generasi muda. Cara pemecahannya menggunakan rancangan deskripstif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru Bimbingan Konseling atau Guru BK dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Ambulu Jember. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sebagai instrumen utama sehingga peneliti yang mengumpulkan dan mendapatkan data. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu kegiatan bimbingan konseling Islam membantu siswa menyelesaikan masalah dengan proses irsyad yang memiliki enam unsur yaitu mursyid, maadah, wasilah, ushlub, mursyadbih dan ghoyah. Proses irsyad tersebut didukung dengan langkah-langkah pengantaran, penjajakan, penafsiran, dan pembinaan. Penerapan Spritual Quotient di SMP Islam Ambulu Jember dalam mencetak generasi muda diwujudkan dengan kebiasaan melakukan ibadah keagamaan selama di sekolah. Kegiatan ibadah yang dimaksud yaitu membaca Al-Qur’an, solat sunah, dan solat berjamaah

Abstract

Based on KPAI's findings, throughout 2021 there were at least 17 cases of bullying in schools, from elementary schools to high schools. This community service method uses an outreach method to partners, namely at SDN Cakru 04, Kencong Jombang District, regarding bullying prevention through several stages. These included a survey of the location of service partners, outreach to students, the Teacher Council and student guardians and the program approach, then this activity was assisted by campus students teaching 6 MBKM Dikti 2023 programs located at SDN 04 Cakru, Kencong District, Jember Regency, totaling 5 students. The task of students is to provide outreach to students and parents regarding bullying prevention. This activity will be carried out for 4 months starting from 4 August 2023 to 4 December 2023. Community service activities include; first, building an Anti-Bullying Culture paradigm in Islam. Second, socialization to parents about good parenting patterns by arranging playing hours and study hours. Third, the Religious Program Approach includes Duha prayers, commemoration of holidays, reading Asmaul Husna.

Abstract

The emergence of Covid-19 has had a tremendous impact on the world of education. To prevent the spread of the virus, the government has imposed large-scale restrictions. So that it has an impact on religious activities and care for the environment of students. This study aims to determine the form of implementation, the supporting and inhibiting factors of religious activities and environmental care for the students of Public Junior High School 2 Salatiga. This type of research is qualitative research. Sources of data used include primary sources, namely the results of interviews from school principals, teachers, and students; and secondary sources can be in the form of documents and photos of religious activities and care for the environment. Techniques in analyzing data using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Public Junior High School 2 Salatiga has: 1) The forms of implementation of students' religious activities include reading the Qur'an, reading Asmaulhusna, reading prayers, habituation of fardu prayers, habituation to giving alms, Islamic holidays, and Religious Extracurriculars; 2) Factors supporting the implementation of students' religious activities are the role of parents, school facilities and infrastructure, the commitment of Islamic Religion Teachers, and the environment around the school; 3) The inhibiting factors for the implementation of student religious activities are the Covid-19 pandemic and the diverse backgrounds of students. 4) The forms of implementation of student environmental care activities are the Adiwiyata Program, maintaining class cleanliness, planting plants, disposing of garbage in its place, waste management, energy saving, washing hands, wearing masks, keeping a distance, consuming nutritious and hygienic food, giving Covid-19 vaccines., and regular exercise; 5) Supporting factors for implementing student environmental care activities are school facilities and infrastructure and the Covid-19 pandemic; 6) The inhibiting factor for implementing student environmental care activities is the Covid-19 pandemic and the lack of awareness of students.

Abstract

Social and emotional skills are important aspects in student development, which impact their ability to interact and manage emotions in the school environment. This study aims to improve students' social and emotional skills through the application of simulation role playing method at MIM 4 Ampel Wuluhan. Using a qualitative approach, this study involved 30 fourth grade students as subjects. Simulation activities were carried out in several sessions, where students were invited to play roles in social situations that demanded communication skills, empathy, and conflict management. The results showed significant improvements in the aspects of students' social and emotional skills, which were characterized by increased active participation in group discussions and the ability to control emotions in challenging situations. The findings indicate that the role playing simulation method is an effective approach to developing students' social and emotional skills in the primary education environment. Thus, this method can be a potential training model to be applied on an ongoing basis to support students' psychosocial development.ABSTRAKKeterampilan sosial dan emosional merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan siswa, yang berdampak pada kemampuan mereka berinteraksi dan mengelola emosi dalam lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional siswa melalui penerapan simulasi metode role playing di MIM 4 Ampel Wuluhan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek. Kegiatan simulasi dilakukan dalam beberapa sesi, di mana siswa diajak memainkan peran dalam situasi sosial yang menuntut keterampilan berkomunikasi, empati, dan pengelolaan konflik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada aspek keterampilan sosial dan emosional siswa, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan kemampuan mengendalikan emosi dalam situasi yang menantang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa simulasi metode role playing merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional siswa di lingkungan pendidikan dasar. Dengan demikian, metode ini dapat menjadi model pelatihan yang potensial untuk diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam mendukung perkembangan psikososial siswa.

Abstract

The era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings significant changes in various fields, including education. Digital media has become an important instrument to support more interactive and effective learning, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This article aims to explore the implementation of digital media in Islamic Education learning, its benefits, challenges faced, and strategic solutions to overcome these obstacles. The results show that digital media contributes to increasing students' interest in learning, interaction, and understanding of PAI materials. However, obstacles such as limited teacher competence in technology, uneven internet access, and students' economic disparity are still the main challenges. Digital literacy training for teachers, procurement of technology infrastructure, and provision of relevant digital-based content are the keys to optimizing PAI learning.

Abstract

Generation Z has unique characteristics that distinguish them from previous generations, such as dependence on technology and preference for dynamic and interactive learning methods. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of interactive approaches in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Generation Z students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several secondary schools in Indonesia. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that interactive approaches, such as the use of digital media, group discussions, and simulations, can increase students' engagement, understanding, and application of religious values. This article recommends wider implementation of these methods to optimize PAI learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan kurikulum merdeka belajar sudah diterapkan di semua sekolah di Indonesia, termasuk di SMK Muhammdiyah 7 Purwoharjo. Sebagai guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam upaya mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka belajar yaitu masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang sudah kurang relevan digunakan di kurikulum ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah lima orang, satu orang kepala sekolah, satu orang guru, dan tiga orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwasanya di SMK Muhammdiyah 7 Purwoharjo sudah menggunakan kurikulum merdeka belajar tetapi hanya untuk kelas X. Sebagai guru Pendidikan Agama Islam masih cenderung menggunakan metode konvensional. Akan tetapi guru memodifikasi metodenya dengan menggunakan teknologi sebagai media belajar supaya siswa tidak mudah bosan. Penggunaan metode konvensional ini dibilang efektif dikarenakan nilai hasil belajar siswa yang berada di atas rata-rata nilai KKM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Purwoharjo masih cenderung menggunakan metode konvensional disaat sekolah sudah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar, tetapi guru juga melakukan pembaharuan yang akhirnya tidak selalu menggunakan metode konvensional saja.

Abstract

The increasing number of educational institutions of various levels, starting from the levels of early childhood education, kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education or those at the RA, MI, Mts, and MA levels in the Ministry of Religion, indicates that the community is getting easier and easier access to education. affordable, it remains how the community can choose and sort out the quality provided by each educational institution, because there are differences in management and management that make an institution more advanced and stagnant. The purpose of quality management in schools is to provide convenience in accessing information both in service and relations between educational institutions, correspondence, and administrative and spatial arrangements that can make students more active and comfortable in the teaching and learning process at school. therefore it is necessary to have quality management and improvement of the quality of infrastructure in schools. The research method at this time the writer uses descriptive research type with a qualitative approach that will make it easier for the author to map, and formulate problems and their solutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies of two ministries, namely the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) at the elementary and junior high school levels, in implementing the education curriculum in Indonesia. This study is qualitative with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data in the form of scientific articles collected from 2015–2024. The data collection technique used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) procedure. The study results show significant differences in the curriculum's structure, focus, and approach implemented by the two ministries. The Ministry of Religious Affairs curriculum emphasizes integrating religious values ​​with science. In contrast, the curriculum under the Ministry of Education and Culture focuses more on developing general competencies based on science and technology. However, there is potential to synergize the policies of the two ministries to create a more holistic curriculum, which not only builds intellectual intelligence but also strengthens religious character and national insight. This study recommends harmonizing inter-ministerial policies through more intensive coordination mechanisms and adapting inclusive curricula according to the needs of the multicultural society in Indonesia. This study focuses on policy analysis at the ministerial level and does not directly evaluate school or district-level curriculum implementation. This study contributes by comparatively analyzing the education policies of two ministries in Indonesia, which have not been widely discussed in previous studies. This study also highlights the importance of policy synergy in building an integrative and adaptive curriculum to the challenges of education in a culturally and religiously diverse society.

Abstract

Awareness of worship is an important aspect of a Muslim's life which is ideally formed from the age of adolescence through a systematic process of religious education. However, in reality, there are still students who have not shown consistency in carrying out worship, especially praying five times, even though they have received formal religious learning. This research aims to examine the effect of Islamic Religious Education on the worship awareness of ninth-grade students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pronojiwo, Lumajang. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing survey techniques and data analysis through simple linear regression. The study involved the entire population of ninth-grade students, totaling 42 individuals, all of whom were included as research subjects using a total sampling method. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire based on a Likert scale, incorporating indicators related to religious education and worship awareness. The findings indicate a significant relationship between Islamic Religious Education and students’ level of worship awareness. This proves that religious learning in schools, if carried out effectively and contextually, can increase students' understanding, motivation, and consistency in carrying out worship. This research provides important implications for the development of a more grounded and applicable PAI curriculum and teaching methods in shaping students' spiritual character.
