Abstract

This research is motivated by the struggle regarding the stigma and discrimination of church members towards PLWHA. PLWHA are stigmatized as sinners because the congregation often identifies HIV/AIDS as a disease caused by sin. The author found this case in the Toraja Church, Batusura Congregation. To minimize cases of discrimination in the congregation's perspective towards PLWHA, the author analyzed the pastoral approach model found in the story of Job. Job's suffering is a critique of retributive theology which always generalizes disease as a result of sin. Job's friends visited Job and helped him understand his suffering with a deductive pastoral approach and retributive theology as the basis of thinking. However, God showed Job's friends the error and claimed that Job's suffering was under the authority of His wisdom and creativity. The author found that Job's story emphasizes a correlational pastoral approach. This approach rejects discrimination and generalization towards PLWHA because not all diseases are the result of sin, including PLWHA. The stigma of a sinner will not restore PLWHA but instead discriminate against them. A correlational approach can also help congregations encounter other causes of HIV/AIDS that are not sinful acts.

Abstract

The application of a Deep Learning model to classify songket woven cloth motifs from South Sumatra reflects the richness of local culture through its diverse motifs. The main challenge faced is the difficulty in distinguishing various songket motifs due to their complexity and wide variety of designs. This research aims to: (1) develop an effective Deep Learning model for classifying songket woven fabric motifs, (2) measure the accuracy and performance of the model, and (3) assess the implications of this model for cultural preservation and the textile industry. The research method employs the SEMMA (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) approach in the data mining process, which includes five phases: data sampling, data exploration, data modification, data modeling, and model evaluation. Songket motif image data is collected, processed, and modeled using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) algorithm for accurate predictions. Data analysis is conducted to assess the model's accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The research results show that the developed system is capable of accurately classifying songket motifs, confirming the effectiveness of Deep Learning models in overcoming this challenge. These findings have significant implications for cultural preservation and textile industry applications, highlighting the potential of Deep Learning technology in processing and analyzing traditional textile data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisi pelindungan hukum bagi dokter polisi dalam penugasan Bawah Kendali Operasi (BKO) Kepolisian dan pelaksanaan pelindungan hukum bagi dokter polisi dalam penugasan BKO Kepolisian. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan secara yuridis.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaturan pelindungan hukum bagi dokter polisi dalam penugasan Bawah Kendali Operasi (BKO) Kepolisian belum memberikan perlindungan bagi dokter sebagai petugas medis, hal ini dikarenakan baik Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan maupun Peraturan Kepala Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2019 Tentang Sistem, Manajemen  Dan Standar Keberhasilan Operasional Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia belum mengadopsi ketentuan Pasal 11, Pasal 24 hingga 27, Pasal 36, dan Pasal 37 Konvensi Jenewa sebagaimana telah diratifikasi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 59 Tahun 1958 tentang Ikut Serta Negara Republik Indonesia Dalam Seluruh Konpensi Jenewa Tanggal 12 Agustus 1949 tentang perlindungan tenaga medis di wilayah konflik dan berbahaya.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Binjai Serbangan, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency. The research was carried out from February to May 2022. The aim of the research was to determine the response of the growth of citrus cuttings to the origin of different cuttings and the natural ZPT of shallots. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two factors, namely: (1) Origin of cuttings (A) consisting of 3 levels, namely: A1 = shoot part, A2 = middle part, A3 = base part (2) Onion Extract Red (B), namely: B0 = 0%, B1 = 25%, B2 = 50%, B3 = 75%. The observation parameters carried out were the percentage of growth, age at emergence of shoots, number of shoots, height of shoots. The results showed that the origin of the cuttings had a significant effect on the number of shoots and shoot height at 6 mst. But on the percentage of growth, the age at which shoots appeared had no significant effect. The best treatment is in A2 = middle part. The concentration of shallot extract had a significant effect on the height of shoots aged 6 WAP. However, the percentage of growth, the age at which shoots appeared and the number of shoots had no significant effect. The best treatment is B3 = 75%. The interaction between the origin of the cuttings and the concentration of shallot extract had no significant effect on all parameters.

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan pelatihan program pembuatan laporan keuangan untuk UMKM Ikan Asin W=R Family di Desa Teluk Rhu Rupat Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau. Dengan latar belakang revolusi industri 4.0 dan pertumbuhan UMKM sebagai pondasi ekonomi rakyat di Indonesia, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme UMKM dalam mengelola keuangan mereka. Melalui pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, LPPM STIE Dharma Putra Pekanbaru melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa sebagai narasumber. Kegiatan dilakukan di tempat produksi UMKM dengan partisipasi aktif dari anggota UMKM dan aparat desa setempat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan dan pentingnya laporan keuangan bagi UMKM. Selain itu, juga dilakukan pendampingan dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan yang sederhana dan transparan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan antusiasme peserta dan harapan akan keberlanjutan pelatihan dengan materi-materi lain yang berkaitan dengan ekonomi dan kewirausahaan. Diharapkan bahwa kegiatan seperti ini dapat terus dilakukan secara berkala untuk membantu UMKM dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan UMKM dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka, terutama dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan, yang pada gilirannya akan berdampak positif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi desa dan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the share of household food expenditure in Andalas Village, Padang Timur District, Padang City and analyze the influence of household income, housewife's formal education level, number of family members, and age of marriage on household food expenditure. This research was conducted in August 2021, with a total sample of 82 people. The research technique used is a survey technique. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative using SPSS Version 18 program. The results of the study are as follows: the share of household food expenditure in Andalas Village, Padang Timur District, Padang City is 26.21%. Factors of household income, level of formal education of housewives, number of family members, and age of marriage together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on food expenditure, partially which has a significant effect on household food expenditure is household income, number of family members. The coefficient of determinant (R2) is 0.73, and the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.854

Abstract

Utilizing rice crackers to become a healthy food product that is highly nutritious and has marketable value, the aim of the student-entrepreneurship creativity program (PKM-K) is to raise students' motivation to become entrepreneurs in processing rice crackers into healthy food products that are nutritious and have sales value. Consuming yogurt is very useful for health, and strengthening bones and teeth, the methods for implementing this program are input, process (production), output, and evaluation. The results of this program are input, conducting market surveys to determine market conditions. Next is a feasibility study of the business that will be run. The final stage is selecting materials and providing a place as well as facilities and infrastructure to support the production process. Process (production), is the process of making rice crackers starting from preparing the ingredients and tools until the rice crackers are ready to be marketed. Output, namely the results of rice crackers that are ready to be consumed and marketed to consumers. The final one is evaluation, namely this stage is carried out when the production of rice crackers has been completed. At this stage, we will review what shortcomings make consumers dissatisfied with consuming our products. The PKM-K program concludes that the use of rice crackers in healthy food products that are highly nutritious and have marketable value can provide students with the skills to remain innovative and creative in managing healthy drinks. Abstract

Kidney failure has become a serious problem for public health in the world. This population increase is due to the lack of public awareness of living a healthy lifestyle and the increasing incidence of diseases which are risk factors. The aim of this activity is to provide information in the form of education to the public regarding kidney failure. Method: This community service activity was carried out in the work area of ​​the Simpang Tiga Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency. The number of participants was 30 people who were health cadres and community leaders. This activity includes counseling and discussion. The results of Community Service Activities (PKM) provide information and knowledge about kidney failure. Healthy living behaviors that are still not implemented include lack of exercise, consumption of instant food and packaged drinks. This habit has been understood by the public as a risk factor for kidney failure. Conclusion: Increased risk factors from a history of disease and less healthy living behavior need to be of concern to all related parties, namely individuals, community leaders/health cadres, and related government institutions, especially community health centers as primary health service locations that carry out promotive and preventive efforts. It is necessary to identify two historical diseases that are risk factors for kidney failure, namely diabetes mellitus and hypertension

Abstract

Latar belakang yang di ambil dari penelitian ini adalah Pendidikan dasar merupakan tahap awal dalam proses pembentukan karakter dan pengetahuan siswa. Dalam proses ini, sarana dan prasarana pendidikan memiliki peran penting sebagai penunjang utama berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar-mengajar yang efektif. Namun, di beberapa sekolah di kota solok masih ditemukan berbagai kendala terkait ketersediaan dan kelayakan sarana serta prasarana pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana peran sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa di sekolah dasar. Upaya yang di perlukan untuk mengatasi permasalah Peran Sarana Dan Prasarana dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Pembelajaran Siswa Sekolah Dasar adalah dengan adanya pihak dari pemerintah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Pemerintah diharapkan dapat meningkatkan alokasi dana pendidikan untuk pembangunan dan renovasi fasilitas sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of dynamic capabilities on innovation and competitive advantage in sago processed MSMEs in the Meranti Islands Regency. The sample consisted of 95 sago-processing MSMEs located in the Meranti Islands Regency. This study highlights the importance of dynamic capabilities in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) business environments. The study argues that MSMEs must develop dynamic capabilities to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and survive intense competition. This study identifies three dimensions of dynamic capabilities: sensing, seizing, and transformation. Sensing capability enables companies to detect environmental changes and new market opportunities, while seizing capability helps them capture and exploit these opportunities. Transforming capabilities allow companies to change their existing activities and resources to produce competitive advantages. The study also emphasizes the role of innovation in increasing competitive advantage. Innovation helps companies meet consumer needs and desires, attract new customers, and retain existing customers. Overall, the study suggests that dynamic capabilities and innovation are critical factors for MSMEs to gain a competitive advantage in the Meranti Islands Regency sago industry
