Abstract

The shift in educational paradigms in the modern era demands a learning process that is no longer teacher-centered, but rather provides more space for students to be involved in building their own knowledge. The Student-Centered Learning model comes as a learning approach that positions students as the main subjects in the learning process through active, reflective, collaborative, and contextual activities. The aim of this study is to describe the student-centered learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The findings indicate that in the context of Islamic Religious Education, the student-centered approach allows the learning process to go beyond simply delivering normative material, developing instead into a process of internalizing Islamic values through learning experiences that are close to the students' lives. Students are encouraged to understand the meaning of religious teachings more deeply, reflectively, and practically, so that religious awareness is formed not just as a formality but is also reflected in daily attitudes and behaviors. In this way, Student-Centered Learning is seen as a learning approach that can be relevant in shaping students who are critical, creative, adaptive, and have a strong religious character in line with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology presents various challenges for students, including the decline of social values, the spread of misinformation, low digital literacy, and weakening citizenship awareness. These conditions require educational institutions to implement appropriate strategies to strengthen students' citizenship character. This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening students' citizenship character through the actuating function in educational management. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a library research method by reviewing books, scientific journals, and relevant previous studies. The findings reveal that the actuating function serves as an important managerial strategy in directing, motivating, guiding, and encouraging all school members to participate in character-building efforts. The implementation of this function can be realized through effective leadership, communication, academic supervision, teacher role modeling, character habituation programs, and student participation in school activities. Furthermore, the integration of citizenship education and digital literacy contributes to the development of responsible, ethical, and active digital citizens. Therefore, the actuating function can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen students' citizenship character and prepare them to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of AI Chatbot in Islamic character education within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Generation Alpha in the digital era. The research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach that focuses on the study and analysis of various scientific literatures related to the utilization of artificial intelligence technology in Islamic education. The research data sources consist of primary and secondary data obtained from journal articles, books, academic documents, and relevant official websites. Literature search was conducted thru reputable scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and Sinta with a publication range of 2016–2026, resulting in 21 scientific journals, 5 news articles, and 4 books that align with the research focus. The data was documented thru a literature review, considering inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques reinforced thru Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The research results indicate that the use of AI Chatbot in PAI learning is conceptually relevant and has the potential to support the internalization of Islamic character values such as adab, amanah, sidq, tabayyun, muraqabah, ihsan, and akhlak karimah in Generation Alpha. Based on the literature review, AI Chatbot shows promise as an interactive learning medium capable of enhancing accessibility, flexibility, and student interest in PAI material. However, this study also identifies various limitations such as the potential for AI hallucination, information bias, validity of Islamic sources, student data privacy risks, and ethical challenges in the use of digital technology. Therefore, teachers still hold a central position as content verifiers, value guides, moral exemplars, and ethical controllers of AI usage in PAI learning. Thus, AI Chatbot is more appropriately positioned as a supportive learning medium, rather than the primary determinant of the success of Islamic character education for Generation Alpha.

Abstract

Abstract: Current developments in information technology have made it easier for humans to manage data and store data and information (Hermanto & Firmansyah, 2020). The library is a knowledge repository that provides information for learning and research to make it easier for the academic community to obtain appropriate references. The MTS 1 State Sumbawa Besar Library is one of the school libraries that has experienced significant development. This development is marked by an increase in the number of books available so that the library's book catalog continues to increase. This development has caused new obstacles in the process of library activities (Noviyanti et al., 2021). Currently, the MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Besar library still uses manual methods in carrying out operational activities for borrowing library books. An application of information system technology is needed to be able to solve the problems experienced. This research uses a system design method by applying the waterfall methodology which is supported by primary and secondary data collection techniques. Primary data collection came from the results of observations and interviews conducted with librarians and library managers at MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Besar and direct observations of researchers when conducting observations. The results of the proposed system design are that it can make it easier for library officers and members to borrow books at the MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa library. Keyword: Information System;Website;Library. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat sekarang ini telah memudahkan manusia dalam mengelola data serta menyimpan data dan informasi (Hermanto & Firmansyah, 2020). Perpustakaan adalah gudang ilmu yang memberikan informasi untuk pembelajaran maupun penelitia untuk mempermudah civitas akademika dalam mendapatkan referensi yang sesuai. Perpustakaan MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Besar merupakan salah satu perpustakaan sekolah yang telah mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan. Perkembangan tersebut ditandai oleh bertambahnya jumlah buku yang tersedia sehingga katalog buku yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan tersebut semakin bertambah. Perkembangan tersebut telah menyebabkan kendala baru dalam proses kegiatan perpustakaan (Noviyanti et al., 2021). Saat ini perpustakaan MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Besar masih menggunakan metode manual dalam melakukan kegiatan operasional peminjaman buku perpustakaan. Dibutuhkan sebuah penerapan teknologi sistem informasi untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dialami tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perancangan sistem dengan menerapkan metodologi waterfall yang didukung dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer berasal dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada pustakawan dan pengelola perpustakaan MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Besar dan pengamatan peneliti secara langsung pada saat melakukan observasi. Adapun hasil dari usulan perancangan sistem tersebut adalah dapat memudahkan pihak petugas maupun anggota perpustakaan dalam melakukan peminjaman buku pada perpustakaan MTS 1 Negeri Sumbawa Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi,;Website;Perpustakaan.

Abstract

Abstract: In the 4.0 era, information technology is developing rapidly, bringing many changes and conveniences in various aspects (Zamzami et al., 2024). Almost all aspects of life involve the development of information technology, causing the majority of organizational entity management decisions to be influenced by information technology (Anggraini, 2021). One aspect of life that has not utilized technology optimally is the mosque. Information technology is developing rapidly so it can continue to be used to help complete various jobs (Akbar et al., 2022). Technological developments continue to give rise to innovations, one of which is web-based systems (Rezki et al., 2024). This innovation is a solution that can help overcome the administrative problems of the Taubah mosque. By developing an information system used for management so that mosque management activities can be carried out effectively and efficiently (Rezky et al., 2021). In conducting this research, researchers used a research method using software design using the waterfall method. The results obtained in this research are that the website that was built can make it easier for users to access the information provided by the mosque management, making it easier for the public to know what activities are provided by the mosque. Keyword: System;Information System;Website. Abstrak: Pada era 4.0 teknologi informasi berkembang pesat yang membawa banyak perubahan dan kemudahan dalam berbagai aspek (Zamzami et al., 2024). Hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan yang melibatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi sehingga menyebabkan sebagian besar keputusan manajemen entitas organisasi dipengaruhi oleh teknologi informasi (Anggraini, 2021). Salah satu aspek kehidupan yang belum maksimal pemanfaatan teknologi adalah masjid. Teknologi informasi yang berkembang pesat sehingga dapat terus dimanfaatkan untuk membantu menyelesaikan berbagai pekerjaan (Akbar et al., 2022). Perkembangan teknologi terus melahirkan inovasi salah satunya sistem berbasis web (Rezki et al., 2024). Inovasi tersebut menjadi solusi yang dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan administrasi dari masjid Taubah. Dengan pengembangan sistem informasi yang digunakan untuk memamanajemen sehingga kegiatan manajemen kepengurusan masjid dapat dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien (Rezky et al., 2021). Dalam melakukan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian menggunakan perancangan perangkat lunak dengan meenggunakan metode waterfall. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah website yang dibangun dapat memudahkan pihak pengguna dalam mengakses informasi yang diberikan oleh pengelola masjid sehingga memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengetahui kegiatan apa saja yang diberikan oleh masjid. Kata kunci: Sistem,;Sistem Informasi;Website.
