Abstract

Economic activity that has a role as a driving force for the economy of a region or country is trade, namely through export and import activities. Both of these activities contribute to regional or state revenues, so supervision and management are needed to optimize these activities, namely through Customs and Excise. The existence of Customs in each region can be a forum for exporters and importers to increase their productivity, so that this trade process will run smoothly and in the end can contribute to regional economic growth in each region, especially in West Aceh Regency. keywords: Customs and Excises, Economic Growth, Export, Import.

Abstract

Sustainable economic development is urgently needed by developing countries, one form of which is the stability of the price of fresh oil palm fruit bunches and being able to integrate with cattle farming by utilizing the area around oil palm land by creating effectiveness and efficiency for farmer groups, so as to increase their income in the future. will come. activities carried out in the form of socialization and transfer of knowledge to the community. The time for the implementation of the activity lasts for 1 (one) day on October 20, 2019. The subject of this service is the Community of Farmers and Livestock in Teupin Panah Village, Assisted Village, Faculty of Economics, Teuku Umar University. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity and actively asked and responded to the material presented by the speakers. In general, this activity consists of two sessions. The first session was a material presentation session, while the second session was an interactive discussion. The stability of the price of oil as a key variable in determining the welfare of oil palm farmers is a prerequisite that must be met. The volatile palm oil price fluctuation will be very risky to the welfare level of farmers. In addition, other solutions are needed in an effort to ensure that farmers' income is not reduced from price uncertainty factors. One of the efforts that can be done is by integrating oil palm plantations with cattle farming. This idea was proposed based on the potential of the oil palm plantation area in Teupin Panah village which is relatively large to be used for oil palm cultivation, especially for smallholder plantations..

Abstract

AbstractAt the beginning of 2020 until now, the world, including Indonesia, was hit by a pandemic known as Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Currently, various efforts are continuously being made to fight against the pandemic, including creating the right vaccine so that this pandemic will end soon. In addition, in suppressing the pace of the pandemic so that it does not spread further and result in an increasing number of fatalities, it is necessary to comply with health protocols such as implementing 3M in daily life. The next thing that is no less important is adopting a healthy lifestyle so that the immune system in the body becomes good to deal with the high level of this pandemic. Furthermore, the use of herbal plants is also important as an alternative in increasing the immune system of the human body, for example, ginger and turmeric are believed to be one of the compositions for treating hepatitis. This condition is of course an opportunity for herbal plant cultivators to market the herbal plants they produce. Of course this requires marketing strategies such as the use of online media, promotions, and so on.Keyword: Covid-19, Herbal Plants, Marketing Strategy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of attitudes, socialization, experience, and financial literacy in improving financial management behavior in the millennial generation in the south-west coast of Aceh. Lack of knowledge about financial management and lack of awareness of the need to delay consumption (investment) make Indonesian people have financial behaviors that are not ideal. The tendency toward a  consumptive lifestyle of the Indonesian people demands a fairly high income. Environmental influences require the community to work as hard as possible in order to meet all needs. This study will use path analysis, which is the development of regression analysis. Based on results and discussion, we can conclude that financial attitude has a strong influence on financial behavior, even though financial literacy is also important.  Because it is believed that attitude is more important than knowledge in affecting someone’s behavior in managing money, this research suggests that financial socialization has no impact on financial literacy or behavior. Lastly, when there is a high level of  financial literacy, financial experience will have a greater impact on the management funds.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that has civilization, customs and noble culture that must prioritize noble values. Values such as decency, tenacity, religion, and ethics form the foundation of nation building. Unfortunately these values are increasingly eroded along with the progress of time. Society tends to ignore the values that shape the character of the nation, and is increasingly becoming an individualist, materialist and hedonic society. The challenges that will be faced by the nation in the future are increasingly complex and uncertain, such as the increasing number of unpleasant incidents, crime rates, immorality, and various other dishonest behaviors in society. This is as a result of a lack of understanding and application of moral values. Lack of understanding of moral values and character education makes children only intelligent but without character. National character building cannot be done in a short time and by a handful of people. This character building is a long process that is continuous and requires the participation of all levels of society with their respective roles. One of the efforts that can be made in order to support character building is through educational institutions as agents of change. Students should be equipped with character education so that later they can balance their academic knowledge. This is in line with the issuance of government regulations through the Strengthening Character Education program. through this activity we are trying to take part by providing short education to the younger generation at the elementary school level, especially at SD N 1 Ranto Panyang. Through interactive discussion activities we seek to instill moral values and measure participants' abilities as feedback. from the results obtained, there was an increase in understanding before and after being given the material and discussing it. our hope is that this can be done on an ongoing and massive basis to get even better results in the future.

Abstract

The change in labor structure and quality from the agricultural sector to the industrial sector has created prospects for expanded job opportunities, which are much more important year-on-year in comparison with the agricultural sector. Moreover, the manufacturing sector also offers resources for its employees to boost their health. The workforce experienced an average annual decrease of -1.69 percent from 1994 to 2017, but the manufacturing sector experienced a 6.44 percent rise in jobs. This thesis is a secondary study using time series data collected from the Aceh Province Central Statistical Agency (BPS). The model is structured in the form of simultaneous equations consisting of 6 structural equations and 2 identity equations. The model is an Econometrics model that is used to classify the variables affecting the movement of labor to the manufacturing sector in the agricultural sector. The results of the study indicate that salaries in the industrial sector are higher than wages in the agricultural sector, which is what encourages workers in the agricultural sector to tend to migrate to the industrial sector (transformation). The industrial sector consumes more labor than the agricultural sector with every rise in the number of industries in Aceh Province. Seen by the growth of 1 Aceh industrial unit capable of employing hundreds of employees.
