Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan niat dalam mencari ilmu. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka atau analisis konten. Adapun hasil elaborasi penelitian ini menunjujkan bahwa bahwa urgensi dari niat belajar menurut Syaikh al-Zarnuji dalam kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim Thariqat atTa`Allum yaitu niat merupakan sesuatu yang fundamental dalam segala hal, maka dari itu wajib bagi pelajar untuk berniat dan menata niatnya pada masa-masa menuntut ilmu supaya ilmu yang dimiliki menjadi berkah baginya. Niat yang baik dan niat yang buruk dalam belajar menurut Syaikh alZarnuji dalam kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim Thariqat at-Ta`Allum adalah sebaiknya seorang pelajar berniat mencari ridha Allah S.W.T, mengharap kebahagiaan akhirat, menghilangkan kebodohan dari dirinya sendiri dan dari orang-orang bodoh, menghidupkan agama, dan melestarikan Islam, karena sesungguhnya kelestarian Islam hanya dapat dipertahankan dengan ilmu.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memaparkan penggunaan Google -Meet dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta prinsip pemilihan media pengajaran di era 4.0. Di era digital atau biasa dikenal dengan era industri 4.0. Pembelajaran yang berjalan harus disertai dengan penggunaan teknologi yang mempermudah guru dan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar, begitu juga dengan pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Google -Meet sebagai salah satu media yang banyak digunakan saat ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini berbasis pustaka, sehingga data yang diperoleh melalui pendalaman terhadap teks-teks buku maupun artikel sesuai data yang dibutuhkan. Kemudian data dianalisis dan dideskripsikan.Artikel ini memberikan jawaban dengan memaparkan prinsip pemilihan media pengajaran di era 4.0 yaitu kejelasan maksud dan tujuan media, familiar, serta adanya panduan yang jelas dalam pemanfaatannya. Penggunaan Google -Meet untuk pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta layanan pesan tulis, suara, video dan file yang disesuaikan dengan keterampilan bahasa yang akan diajarkan.

Abstract

The word “jancuk” is a form of speech often used in daily conversation, especially in the Arekan dialect spoken in some regions of East Java, such as Surabaya, Malang, and Lumajang. However, in the development of language, this speech is also adapted by non-Javanese speakers with various communication functions, such as in West Java, to be the origin of the Sundanese people, as well as outside the island of Java. This study aims to analyze “jancuk” as an expressive speech act, particularly in the sociolinguistic context of non-Javanese speaking communities. Using a sociopragmatic qualitative approach, this study examines the use of “jancuk” speech in social interactions and how it functions as an expression of emotions, solidarity, and group identity by identifying the instances of “jancuk” use. The results of the study showed that the expression “jancuk” experienced a shift in meaning when used by non-Javanese speakers, with a more flexible application in various communication situations.

Abstract

The Arabic language plays a strategic role in shaping individual religious identity and the social fabric of Muslim communities, particularly within the context of contemporary da'wah practices. This study aims to analyze how Arabic functions both as a linguistic and ideological tool in negotiating personal identity and social relations within da'wah spaces, whether through digital or traditional media. Employing a critical sociolinguistic approach and a descriptive qualitative method, this research explores practices such as code-switching, linguistic register variation, and the adaptation of Arabic to various da'wah contexts, including traditional environments such as Salafi religious institutes and digital da'wah platforms. The findings reveal that Arabic not only serves as a symbol of Islamic religiosity but also performs a semantic function in defining religious authority, social hierarchy, and symbolic capital in contemporary da'wah discourse. In urban settings, Arabic emerges as a symbol of the globalization of Islam and ideological affiliation, whereas in rural contexts, it serves as a means of preserving traditional religious knowledge. The study concludes that context-based Arabic language instruction and the adoption of flexible linguistic strategies are essential to support effective and inclusive da'wah communication in contemporary Muslim societies.

Abstract

This study aimed to address the challenges in teaching Arabic writing skills (insya’) at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), where instruction often relies on memorization and lacks structured, contextual materials suited to students’ needs. The research sought to develop valid, practical, and effective teaching materials to improve students’ writing abilities. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from Borg & Gall, the study followed several stages: needs analysis, planning, product development, validation, limited trial, and revision. The participants were students of Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittihad Cianjur, and data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, validation sheets, and pretest–posttest writing assessments. The needs analysis indicated that students required simple, contextual, and gradual materials related to their pesantren environment. Validation from experts yielded an average score of 3.71 (“feasible”), showing that the materials met content, language, and design standards with minor revisions needed. After improvement such as adding varied writing exercises and enhancing visuals the limited trial revealed significant gains: average writing scores increased from 65.7 to 80.6, particularly in sentence structure and vocabulary use. Thus, the developed materials proved valid, practical, and effective, offering an alternative solution to enhance Arabic writing instruction in pesantren.

Abstract

This research analyzes the concept of intention (niyyah), the urgency of its purification, and the relevance of Az-Zarnuji's thoughts in the book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim to modern Islamic education. Using a qualitative approach and library research, the study focuses on content analysis of the primary text of Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman.The results show that intention (an-niyyah) is the main spiritual and moral foundation that determines the blessing (barakah) and devotional value of seeking knowledge. Az-Zarnuji emphasizes the purification of intention (tazkiyat an-niyyah) so that the learning objective is free from worldly ambitions and directed as a means of devotion to God (Allah). A sound intention leads to beneficial knowledge (‘ilm nāfi‘) and shapes the scholar's character to be humble (tawāḍu‘) and ethical.This thought has high relevance in the context of modern education. The concept of Tazkiyat an-Niyyah can serve as the spiritual foundation that strengthens the implementation of Deep Learning, ensuring the learning process is both Meaningful and Mindful, thereby enabling the educational system to reorient itself towards the formation of a character defined by integrity and civility.
