Abstract

The World Health Organizatin states that the prevalence of stunting in the world is 22.9% and the nutritional status of stunted toddlers is the cause of 2.2 million of all causes of under-five mortality worldwide. The results of Riskesdas in Indonesia in 2013 the presentation of the nutritional status of stunting toddlers was 37.2%. The prevalence of stunting did not show a decrease or improvement compared to 2010 (35%) and 2007 (36.8%).Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years old (infants under five years old) due to chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early days after the baby is born, however, the stunting condition only appears after the baby is 2 years old. One of the factors in the occurrence of this stunting is exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of exclusive breastfeeding on the incidence of stunting. The method in this research is literature review, which is trying to explore how the factors of exclusive breastfeeding on the incidence of stunting. The results in this study indicate that from 6 articles that have been reviewed, there is an influence of exclusive breastfeeding factors on the incidence of stunting. This is because breast milk is the best food for babies aged 0-6 months, where breast milk contains fat, carbohydrates, protein, salt and minerals and vitamins.

Abstract

Every year Toddlers in Indonesia suffer from malnutrition and this is evenly spread throughout Indonesia. The prevalence of malnutrition continues to decline from 9.7% in 2005 to 4.9% in 2010 and it is expected that in 2015, the prevalence of malnutrition will decrease to 3.6%. The prevalence of under-five children with malnutrition and malnutrition decreased by 0.5% from 18.4% in 2007 to 17.9% in 2010. Inadequate nutritional intake was caused in children under five because of eating difficulties in the form of reduced appetite associated with increased interactions. with the environment. Toddlers are more susceptible to disease, especially infectious diseases both acute and chronic, worm infections and in a long time can cause malnutrition or poor nutrition. The method in this study is a literature review that tries to explore the effect of papaya fruit (Carica Papaya L) on the appetite of children under five as an effort to prevent stunting. The results of this study from several literatures that have been studied indicate that there is an effect of giving papaya fruit (Carica Papaya L) on appetite in children under five. In papaya fruit (Caraica Papaya L) there are vitamins present in papaya fruit which are certain organic compounds that are needed in small amounts but are essential for metabolic reactions in cells and are important for maintaining normal growth and maintaining health. The content of vitamins and minerals in papaya fruit will restore a child's appetite, strengthen the immune system and restore sick conditions in children. Suggestions need to be informed to the public, especially mothers who have toddlers who experience appetite disorders, can give papaya fruit as an easier alternative.

Abstract

Infant mortality is still high in Indonesia, 53% is caused by nutritional factors. Exclusive breastfeeding can reduce infant morbidity and mortality. Breastmilk production is less a complaint that is most often expressed by postpartum mothers and is the cause of exclusive breastfeeding failure. Nutritional status of postpartum mothers has an effect on breast milk production. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status of postpartum mothers and breast milk production. This research is quantitative research using primary data. The sample in this study were all primiparous mothers in April – May 2017 at Gunung Sari Health Center, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variables in this study were nutritional status measured from LILA and ASI production as measured by breast milk volume. Analysis using the Mann-Whitney and T unpaired tests. The results showed that there was no relationship between nutritional status and ASI production both seen at day 4 and 10. This is because baby suction is the main factor that influences milk production. Therefore, postpartum mothers are recommended to breastfeed the right way and every two hours in an effort to increase milk production.

Abstract

Desa Lenek Ramban Biak has transformed into an ecotourism village due to its various tourism potentials, including natural, cultural, and religious attractions. However, both the government and local communities lack awareness of the importance of managing village tourism. Through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) conducted by PMD UNRAM, efforts have been made to enhance cleanliness and attract more visitors. Activities include creating photo spots, producing promotional videos, and establishing waste disposal facilities through collective clean-up efforts. The implementation methods involve crafting waste bins from recycled bamboo, conducting clean-up drives at tourist spots, producing promotional videos, and creating photo spots using wood and bamboo. The addition of photo spots aims to make the tourist destination more appealing. The use of bamboo waste bins is intended to raise awareness among the community about waste management and promote a cleaner and healthier environment. Additionally, leveraging technological advancements for promotional video production facilitates wider outreach through social media platforms, thereby increasing awareness among the public. Social media serves as a convenient channel for disseminating information about the tourist destination.
