Abstract

This study examines the mediating and moderating effects of collaborative culture on the relationship between leadership behavior and team performance in modern organizations, specifically focusing on how collaborative culture elements such as knowledge sharing, skill exchange, interpersonal relationships, and synergistic attitudes can serve as strategies for enhancing team performance. Employing a quantitative methodology, data was collected through online questionnaires from 121 employees of government institutions in Jambi and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings revealed that leadership behavior significantly and positively influences both team performance and collaborative culture, while collaborative culture, though showing no direct significant effect on team performance, functions as both a mediator and moderator in the leadership behavior-team performance relationship. Although the study's generalizability may be limited due to its specific focus on public sector institutions, this study strengthens the research gap on the dual role of collaborative culture which is still rarely discussed in the context of the Indonesian public sector. The practical implications of this finding can be a reference for organizational leaders to develop team effectiveness and achieve strategic goals through strengthening collaborative culture in public sector management.

Abstract

Batik is a very valuable Indonesian cultural heritage and has become the identity of the Indonesian state. The Indonesian government has designated a special day as National Batik Day, namely October 2 2023, which is based on the date that batik was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) several years ago. Batik can show national identity because it has different motifs in each region. To bring back typical regional motifs and increase sales value through batik motif innovation, it is necessary to innovate in batik motifs and quality. Improving the quality and innovation of batik motifs is one effort to increase the selling value of batik. Abstract

The transformation of regional taxation is a strategic agenda aimed at strengthening fiscal capacity, reducing dependence on central government transfers, and supporting sustainable development within the framework of regional autonomy. This study aims to identify the regional tax instruments with the greatest potential, analyze the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing local taxing power, and formulate adaptive fiscal policy strategies in Jambi Province. The research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, drawing on primary data from in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs), as well as secondary data from regional budget (APBD) reports, local revenue (PAD) statistics, and regional tax realization for the period 2021–2024. Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo software, complemented by quantitative data triangulation. The findings reveal that the largest tax potential in Jambi lies in the Street Lighting Tax, Specific Goods and Services Tax, Land and Building Acquisition Duty (BPHTB), and Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBBP2), with varying dominance across districts and municipalities according to their respective economic characteristics. The main implementation challenges include low taxpayer compliance, weak administrative systems and institutional coordination, limited human resources, and disparities in infrastructure development across regions. Nonetheless, significant opportunities exist through the growth of the digital economy, the rise of online-based SMEs, the development of tourism and real estate sectors, and the diversification of resource-based taxation. This study recommends adaptive fiscal strategies built upon three key pillars: regulatory reform, institutional and technological capacity building, and cross-sector collaboration, accompanied by public outreach. Such strategies are expected to foster a more inclusive, transparent, and efficient regional taxation system while strengthening fiscal independence in the post-HKPD 2022 era.

Abstract

This research investigates the mediating role of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in the relationship between social media advertising and impulsive purchase decisions among Generation Z consumers in Jambi City, Indonesia. Using a quantitative survey and Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS), data from 199 respondents were analyzed. Results indicate that social media advertising exerts a weak direct influence on impulsive buying (β = 0.09, p > 0.05), while FOMO has a strong and significant positive effect (β = 0.62, p < 0.001). Furthermore, social media advertising significantly influences FOMO (β = 0.68, p < 0.001), which mediates its relationship with impulsive purchasing (indirect effect β = 0.42, p < 0.001). The findings demonstrate that emotional and social triggers outweigh direct marketing exposure in shaping impulsive consumption among Gen Z. The study contributes to the theoretical understanding of affective mechanisms in digital marketing and offers managerial insights for responsible and ethical branding.

Abstract

Islamic economic theory emerged due to the theory of demand for goods and services. The demand for goods and services arises as a result of the wants and needs of real consumers and potential consumers. Herbal products, when associated with the Covid 19 issue, are currently a global conversation, so sales of these herbal products have experienced a significant increase compared to previous years. the Covid 19 pandemic disaster occurred. Due to the development of this herbal product sales trend, the brand equity of good quality products can affect consumer buying interest. Halal Awareness in halal-certified herbal products is a major construct that can help improve product brand reputation in intensively promoting consumer purchase intention models for halal brands. Consumer trust and behavior to buy herbal products is the key to the company's success in getting loyal consumers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between consumer behavior, brand equity and halal awareness and religiosity. The research design is descriptive quantitative with a sample survey method. The research respondents were the people of Jambi City with a total sample of 200 people, but the number of samples collected was 210 people. The analysis tool uses PLS. From the results of this study, it is known that there is a positive relationship between consumer behavior, brand equity and halal awareness as a mediating variable. The study also shows that there is a positive relationship between consumer behavior and brand equity and there is a direct and significant positive relationship with brand equity.
