Abstract

Upaya peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab tidak lepas dari peranan strategi para guru ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salah satu masalah yang sering ditemui dalam proses pengajaran bahasa Asing, khususnya bahasa Arab adalah pengayaan metode dan strategi pengajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab di pondok pesantren, seperti pesantren wihdah, shalafiah dan Modern, mayoritas terfokus pada penguasaan ilmu nahwu dengan tujuan untuk memahami kitab kuning. Adapun kompetensi dalam penguasaan bahasa arab yang meliputi penguasaan linguistic dan keterampilan, dengan penguasaan yang terdiri dari penguasaan mendengar (istima), berbicara (kalam), membaca (qiroa’ah), dan menulis (kitabah).

Abstract

Background: In the science of Qiraat, the problem of vowel reading on letters and words in the Qur'an is still much that has not been revealed, both from the aspect of classical and modern scholarly opinions. Purpose: This study aims to describe and introduce several rules about the process of occurrence of vowel a/i/u in certain words and verses, which are caused by the presence of letters, hamzah, sukun, and ishmam, including exploring new ways of analyzing the phonology of modern Arabic vowels based on standard generative theory. Method: This research is literature research. Primary data sources were obtained by al-Našr fi al-Qirā'at al-Islāmiyyah, and several verses of the Qur'an for comparison. Secondary data sources are literature, both in the form of books, journals, and research results related to phonology. Data collection is carried out by documentation techniques, listening, and recording. Data analysis techniques use open coding, then analyzed descriptively using grounded theory. Results and Discussion: This study informs about the rule that the variety of vowel punctuation on some verbs in the Qur'an will change according to the readings attributed to the ten Qira'at. The Vowel sign emphasizes the reading of dhamma/kasrah). The emphasis mark on nouns requires the insertion of dhamma while on verbs and insertion of kasrah. The round distinguishing mark (sifr) is important in turning kasrah into dhamma. Both Kasrah and dhamma have the property of 'Al, but some of them are distinguished by round marks on dhamma and square marks on kasrah. The Vowel sign for classical scholars indicates that the kasrah from the letter "waw" in the verb "qul" moved to the letter "qaf" after hadzf dhamma, then "waw" changed to "ya" to correspond to the kasrah in front of it. Modern linguists believe that the dhamma of the letter "qaf" can be changed to Kasrah and then "waw" removed, so that the existence of the two kasrahs is merged and becomes a long shaddah Conclusions and Implications: The differences and changes in vowels in phonetics cannot be separated from the debate that exists between classical and modern scholars. This indicates that the problem of qira'at is closely related to diacritical marks that are icons of producing sounds with various characters. This research has implications that having to study Qur'anic verses from a Vowel aspect will require us to see how scholars used to read so that the sounds produced are not only one variant but have a variety of very detailed and interesting reasons to be studied based on modern linguistic theory.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the poem “رحلة جبلية، رحلة صعبة” by Fadwa Tuqan using Jacques Derrida's deconstruction approach within the framework of postmodern feminist theory. The data source in this research is the poem رحلة جبلية، رحلة صعبة  by Fadwa Tuqan. The data collection technique employed is a literature study, which involves gathering data from writings sourced from articles, academic journals, and other relevant texts supporting the research. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The analysis results show that Tuqan successfully deconstructs the essentialist construction of female identity and represents the female subject as an active and dynamic agent. From a postmodern feminist perspective, this poem rejects a singular narrative of womanhood and affirms plurality, performativity, and symbolic resistance through poetic language. This study recommends the importance of employing contemporary critical theories such as deconstruction and postmodern feminism in reading modern Arabic literary texts, especially women’s writings, to uncover the political and transformative potential embedded within the aesthetics of language.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship between Qiraah and Jurisprudence, the method of Determining the Law of Jurisprudence according to Al-Alusi, and the impact of Qiraah on the Verses of Worship on Determining the Law of Jurisprudence according to Al-Alusi. This research is a qualitative research, the type of research is library research. The data collection method used is literature study. The results showed that; 1). The close relationship between fiqh and qiraah has had a significant impact on the understanding and development of Islamic law. The understanding and expertise in qiraah by the fuqaha provided an additional dimension in the interpretation and application of Islamic law. Thus, the close relationship between fiqh and qiraah became one of the hallmarks of the Islamic tradition of thought. 2) In exploring the verses to find istinbat law, imam al-Alusi uses two main methods, namely bayani and qiyasi methods. 3) The differences in qiraah that affect the istinbat law have given birth to different legal status. This has a significant impact on the process and results of determining the law, such as in the case of worship issues

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Kesulitan Guru dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 di MTS Negeri Gowa”. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dan jenisnya adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer yakni guru yang mengajarkan mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Gowa dan sumber data sekunder berupa dokumentasi penting menyangkut profil sekolah, dokumen kurikulum, petunjuk teknis pengembangan silabus untuk mata pelajaran bahasa Arab. Adapun kesulitan Guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 di MTS Negeri Gowa antara lain: 1) kesulitan yang dialami dalam merencanakan pembelajaran adalah menganalisis Kompetensi inti (KI), Kompetensi Dasar (KD), Merumuskan Indikator, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, Media dan Metode yang akan digunakan, 2) Kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran adalah menerapkan pendekatan scientific yang mengarahkan pembelajaran berpusat kepada peserta didik, akan tetapi minimnya minat belajar bahasa Arab sehingga peserta didik kurang memperhatikan pelajaran serta menganggap bahwa bahasa Arab itu susah untuk dipelajari, dan 3) Kesulitan dalam menilai hasil pembelajaran yaitu pada tekhnik penilaian sikap sulit dalam menumbuhkan sikap mandiri dan gemar membaca dalam diri peserta didik. Kemudian pada tekhnik penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan yaitu karena dalam suatu ruangan terlalu banyak jumlah peserta didik sedangkan alokasi waktu yang disiapkan terbatas sehingga peserta didik tidak memiliki kesempatan melakukan unjuk kerja demikian juga halnya dengan proyek dan portofolio belum berjalan sesuai dengan langkah-langkah penilaian karena guru belum memahami tekhnik penilaian tersebut. Kata Kunci: Kesulitan Guru, Bahasa Arab, Kurikulum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning Arabic from a methodological and psychological perspective at UPT SMA Palopo City. This research is a type of field research whose study is descriptive-qualitative to reveal the meaning behind the reality of learning Arabic at UPT SMA Palopo City. The data collection method was through interviews which were then analyzed qualitatively using data reduction, data presentation and research conclusions. The results showed that: Learning Arabic at UPT SMA Palopo City includes three processes, namely: 1) The planning process for learning Arabic at UPT SMA Palopo City includes making syllabus, lesson plans and learning media to be used; 2) Implementation, learning Arabic at UPT SMA Palopo City includes initial activities, delivery of material and closing. Implementing learning Arabic at UPT SMA Palopo City could be more optimal; 3) Evaluation, which includes evaluation of students in the form of semester exams, assignments and so on.

Abstract

This study investigates how character education is embedded into the school culture of an Indonesian Islamic junior high school (madrasah), focusing on four core values: religiosity, honesty, tolerance, and discipline. Using a qualitative naturalistic approach, the research was conducted at MTsN 3 Halmahera Utara through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that character education at the madrasah is not a standalone program but is institutionalized through consistent routines, religious practices, and role modeling. Religiosity is fostered through structured worship, integration of Islamic values into lessons, and spiritual habits. Honesty is promoted via trust-based learning environments, teacher exemplarity, and reinforcement of moral norms. Tolerance is cultivated through inclusive social interactions and respect for religious and cultural differences, while discipline is internalized through habitual rule-following, punctuality, and self-regulation. These findings align with existing theories and regional character education frameworks, confirming that character is best formed through embedded cultural processes and consistent adult exemplarity. The study contributes to the understanding of how Islamic schools can function as moral communities and highlights the importance of alignment between school culture, family support, and wider social contexts in achieving sustainable moral development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the self-efficacy and learning achievement of Arabic students at Mts Al-Ikhwan Baubau, as well as to examine the effect of self-efficacy on Arabic learning achievement of students at Mts Al-Ikhwan Baubau. This research uses quantitative method with causal associative type. The population of this study were all students at Mts Al-ikhwan Baubau who were in class VIII and IX as many as 46 students, the sample in this study were all members of the population. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results obtained: 1) self-efficacy and Arabic learning achievement of students at Mts Al-Ikhwan Baubau are in the medium category. 2) the results of inferential statistical calculations obtained p-value <α (0.008 <0.05) and the regression coefficient (b) of 0.224 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that self-efficacy has a positive effect on participants' Arabic learning achievement educate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang tingkat kemampuan bahasa Arab dan tingkat pemahaman ayat-ayat al-Qur’an serta korelasi antara keduanya terhadap siswa kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Amanah Baubau. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field reseach) bersifat kuantitatif dalam bentuk ex-post facto atau kasual komparatif karena penelitian ini berusaha mencari informasi tentang hubungan sebab akibat dari suatu peristiwa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (soal) dari hasil jawaban Ujian Akhir Madrasah Berstandar Nasional (UAMBN). Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan: (1) Setiap siswa memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam menjawab tes soal bahasa Arab dan al-Qur’an pada Ujian Akhir Madrasah Berstandar Nasional. Tingkat pemahaman siswa kelas XII MA Al-Amanah Baubau dapat menerima/menyerap pelajaran al-Qur’an dengan sangat positif dan signifikan; (2) Korelasi antara tingkat kemampuan bahasa Arab dengan tingkat pemahaman ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan bahasa Arab siswa kelas XII MA Al-Amanah Baubau. Penelitian ini dapat memberi sumbangsih pemikiran dan pengetahuan bagi siswa dan guru agar lebih giat menguasai dan memahami pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan al-Qur’an, menjadi referensi atau rujukan yang relevan bagi kaum akademisi, lembaga pendidikan atau institusi penelitian lainnya dalam melakukan kajian dan penelitian yang terkait dengan tingkat kemampuan bahasa Arab dan tingkat pemahaman ayat-ayat al-Qur’an di MA Al-Amanah Baubau.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan penilitian terhadap QS al-Maidah dengan memfokuskan kepada bentuk-bentuk analisis uslub insya dengan menjadikan disiplin ilmu balagah sebagai tolak ukur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan bahasa yaitu kaidah bahasa Arab ilmu balagah untuk dianalisa dalam QS. al-Maidah. Pemilihan apsek ini menjadi fokus penelitian berangkat dari adanya fenomena pemisah kajian nahwu, sharaf dan balagah yang memiliki kemiripan pembahasan pada objek kajian uslub insya. Analisis terhadap qur’an surah al-Maidah tampak sangat memperhatikan makna yang terkandung dibalik uslub insya. Oleh sebab itu, penulis dalam mengkaji uslub tersebut tidak hanya melihat dari aspek struktur dan pola pembentukannya semata, akan tetapi lebih jauh mempertimbangkan aspek makna. Hasil penelitian ini, dapat dikemukakan bahwa uslub insya’  dalam Surat al-Maidah 68 ayat  yaitu  amar (perintah) 27, nahi (larangan) 14 ayat,  istifham (pertanyaan) 9, nida’ (panggilan) 16, dan tamanni (harapan) 2 ayat. Adapun  dilihat dari segi bentuknya,  ayat-ayat Surat al-Maidah terdapat berbagai bentuk uslub insya’ yang meliputi amar (perintah), nahi (larangan), istifham (pertanyaan), nida’ (panggilan), dan tamanni (harapan). Adapun dari segi makna uslub insya’ mempunyai makna haqiqi yaitu makna asli dan makna idhafi di antaranya adalah ta’jiz (melemahkan), iltimas (ungkapan kepada yang sebaya), tahdid (ancaman), irsyad (petunjuk), dan doa (permohonan), taubikh (menghina) dan taqrir (penegasan).ABSTRACTThe purpose of this reseach is to analyse form and meaning of uslub insya’ in surah al-maidah. This reseach is using the descriptive method of content analysis. The procedur of data analysis includes tables and classification of uslub insya’. The result of this reseach reveals that there are 68 verses of uslub insya’  in surah al-Maidah. Those are amar (command) 27 verses, nahi (prohibition) 14 verses, istifham (question) 9 verses, nida’ (call) 16 verses, and tamanni (hope) 2 verses. According to its form, uslub insya’ in surah al-Maidah has several forms including amar (command), nahi (prohibition), istifham (question), nida’ (call), and tamanni (hope). Based on the meaning, uslub insya’ has two meanings. The first is denotative (haqiqi) and the second is connotative (idhafi). Denotative means the sentence expression does not have a certain purpose, while connotative means the sentence has a certain purpose depends on the context and the situation expressed by the sentence. The other meanings of uslub insya’  that can be found in the verses of surah al-maidah are ta’jiz (weaken), iltimas (expression to the same age), tahdid (threat), irsyad (guidance), doa (prayer), taubikh (insult), and taqrir (confirmation).
