Abstract

Pengabdian ini mempunyai tujuan: 1) Memberikan pengetahuan masyarakat pentingnya pendidikan karakter, 2) Memberikan pemahaman secara konkrit dan detail tentang bahaya limbah, 3) Membuat limbah kertas menjadi produk yang berguna. Pelaksanaan pelatihan mempergunakan beberapa metode, antara lain: ceramah/ power point, diskusi/ tanya jawab, workshop. Peserta dari pelatihan ini adalah masyarakat MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura dan serta Aisyiyah Gonilan Kartasura. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemahaman tentang pendidikan karakter bersih lingkungan, bahaya limbah, dan mampu menghasilakan produk-produk dari limbah kertas. Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan program pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura dengan bekarjasama dengan Aisyiyah Gonilan Kartasura.

Abstract

Sebagai sekolah yang baru tumbuh berkembang, SD Mumtas dihadapkan pada beberapa permasalahan, diantaranya adalah kualitas guru dan ketatnya persaingan sekolah dasar (SD) di wilayah kota Malang. Inovasi juga dilakukan dengan menetapkan target jangka pendek yang memuat ciri khas SD Mumtas di masa datang, yang menjadi pembeda dari sekolah dasar yang ada di wilayah kota Malang, yakni melalui implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik berorientasikan STEAM. Hasil kesepakatan antara tim program pengabdian dan sekolah mitra, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi dan urgen untuk diselesaikan meliputi: 1) adanya perbedaan persepsi antara guru di sekolah mitra dalam mengintepretasikan pembelajaran STEAM. 2) Perlu adanya upaya peningkatan kompetensi preofesional guru di sekolah mitra khususnya merancang pembelajaran STEAM. 3) Implementasi pembelajaran tematik berorientasi STEAM belum optimal. 4) Penggunaan ecoliteracy yang belum optimal sebagai media/bahan/ sumber belajar. Solusi mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah 1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan pelatihan aktivitas pembelajaran STEAM, 2) Pelatihan Pembelajaran Berbasis STEAM, 3) Penyusunan design pembelajaran STEAM. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, metode simulasi direct instruction), dan metode pendampingan. Sehingga secara lengkap target luaran pada program pengabdian ini yaitu tersusunnya design pembelajaran STEAM.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the practice rehearsal pairs method and Powtoon animation on storytelling skills. This quasi-experimental research has control and experimental classes. The experimental group received treatment in the form of a practice rehearsal pairs method with Powtoon media and the control group received treatment with a storytelling model with picture media. Both get pretest and posttest for. The prerequisite test uses SPSS 26. The result is a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.0000 <0.005 indicates that Ho is rejected. Storytelling skills in learning Indonesian for the two classes are slightly different. The experimental class pretest mean was 59.75 while the posttest was 82.25. The mean of the control class pretest was 57.50 while the posttest was 75.00. There are differences in the results of the experimental and control classes. The class that was given the treatment had higher results compared to the class that was not given the treatment.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan metode practice rehearsal pairs dan animasi Powtoon pada keterampilan bercerita. Penelitian quasi experiment ini memiliki kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan perlakuan berupa metode practice rehearsal pairs dengan media Powtoon dan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan perlakuan dengan model story telling dengan media gambar. Keduanya mendapatkan pretes dan postes untuk. Uji prasyarat menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasilnya Diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,0000 < 0,005 menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak. Keterampilan bercerita dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia terhadap kedua kelas sedikit berbeda. Rerata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 59,75 sedangkan postes 82,25. Rerata pretes kelas kontrol 57,50 sedangkan postes 75,00. Ada perbedaan hasil dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelas yang diberi perlakuan, hasilnya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas yang tidak diberi perlakuan.

Abstract

Monotone learning activities make students easily bored and not interested in learning. Such a learning process cannot train students to think critically and cannot be digested optimally by students. This study aims to analyze the discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual animation media to optimize problem-solving abilities and student independence attitudes. This type of research is quantitative research. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The population in this study were all third-grade students at SDN Cengklik Surakarta, amounting to 64 students. Data collection techniques were obtained through the test and the non-test. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative, quantitative, and statistical inferential analysis. The results showed that using the Discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual animation media affected students' ability to solve learning problems and fostered student independence. It was concluded that the Discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual animation media could improve students' ability to solve learning problems and foster student independence.

Abstract

Education is a process that makes a humane benchmark for educators and devotees to achieve common educational goals. The process proceeds in a specific environment and uses a variety of actions. Lack of attention of teachers in the use of various methods and models to prevent bullying. This study aims to analyses the differences in student attitudes and students’ knowledge about the impact of bullying before and after applying role playing models with digital comic media. The participants of this study were 12 teachers. The method used was quantitative method with experiments. The sample taken was 20 four grader students in elementary school. The data collection method used in this study were observation pretests and post tests, and questionnaire. The data analyses ued in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, knowledge hypothesis test, and attitude hypothesis test. The results of the research showed that there was a significant influence of the use of role playing model and digital comic media in preventing bullying behavior in elementary school. This implementation allows teachers to use a model with media to attract students’ attention so that they can understand the lesson in the learning process easily.

Abstract

Reading and writing are very important skills in education. When compared to other countries, the ability to read and write Indonesian people is still low. This study aims to analyze whether the application of the Quantum Learning model with Big Book media can overcome the lack of reading and writing skills. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design. Where the two elementary schools were divided into an experimental class and a control class. Respondents in this study consisted of teachers and second grade students. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, T test, and ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the posttest results of students' reading and writing skills after applying learning with the Quantum Learning model and Big Book media. The results of the ANOVA test showed that learning in the experimental class and control class could improve students' reading and writing skills, although the average value of the increase in the experimental class that applied the Quantum Learning model with Big Book media was higher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan guna memahami pengaruh penggunaan media kata bergambar menggunakan model Quantum Learning pada kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak disgrafia. Penelitian ini masuk jenis penelitian jenis kuantitatif, yang memakai metode pre-experimental design tipe one group pre test-post test (tes awal-tes akhir kelompok tunggal). Teknik pengumpulan data memakai tes membaca, tes menulis, observasi serta dokumentasi. Subjek di dalam penelitian ini ialah peserta didik kelas C dan D. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan di dalam penelitian ini ialah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji paired sample T-test. Berdasar pada uji paired sample T-test ditemukan bahwasanya nilai signifikansi. Sehingga nilai signikansi lebih kecil dan terhitung lebih besar dari tabel, maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwasanya pengaruh media kata bergambar dengan model pembelajaran quantum learning pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia memiliki pengaruh yang signifikansi karena adanya perbedaan pre test dan post test  yang mempengaruhi terhadap kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak disgrafia kelas 2 SDLB YPCM Boyolali. Implikasi hasil penelitian adalah media kata bergambar dapat menjadi alternative dalam pengajaran kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak disgrafia.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah dan terbatasnya media yang guru gunakan dalam menyampaikan materi, sangat berdampak pada hasil belajar matematika. Tujuan  penelitian ini untuk menganalisis tentang pengaruh penerapan Problem Based Learning dengan media Takalintar terhadap hasil belajar pada materi matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Nonequivalent Contro Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dan kelas kontrol tanpa perlakuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini siswa kelas IIIA dan IIIB berjumlah 44 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah soal tes yang berbentuk soal uraian untuk membandingkan hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis T-test dengan bantuan SPSS 22. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan kelas eksperimen pretest dan postest memiliki nilai sig kurang dari a, (0,000 kurang dari 0,05) yang  artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use  discovery learning model with pop-up book media on improving learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in solving Civics questions. The subjects of this study were class IV A of SD Negeri Katelan 4 which opened 20 students and class IV B of SD Negeri Dukuh 2 which opened 24 students. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of test questions. Researchers used validity and reliability tests on the test questions before the study. The prerequisite test results show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The data analysis technique used is the t test and simple correlation test. The conclusions obtained in this study are: 1) there is a difference in the average value of Civics learning outcomes, namely experiencing an increase by using the discovery learning model through the Pop-up Book media, 2) the application of the discovery learning model through the Pop-up Book media is effective in increasing abilities students' critical thinking, 3) there is a significant relationship between learning outcomes and critical thinking skills with the use of discovery learning models using Pop-up Book media. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan model discovery learning dengan media pop-up book terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa kelas IV dalam menyelesaikan soal PPKn. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A SD Negeri  Katelan 4 yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa dan kelas IV B SD Negeri Dukuh 2 yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa instrument soal tes. Peneliti menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada soal tes sebelum penelitian. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t dan uji korelasi sederhana. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar PPKn yaitu mengalami peningkatan dengan penggunaan model discovery learning melalui media Pop-up Book, 2) Penerapan model discovery learning melalui media Pop-up Book efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, 3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan penggunaan model discovery learning menggunakan media Pop-up Book.

Abstract

Observing the great potential of the internet in rural environment, village government in Kragan, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, has established internet network that residents could use with relatively lower price compared to that of other internet providers. Even though the internet connection has adequate speed, it still has obstacles specifically in managing the internet subscribers. Every villager who will subscribe to the internet must go to the village office and fill out a registration form and then the form is archived. Although the method is effective, it is vulnerable to customer data and information loss and is not flexible for residents who carry out their daily activities in a place that is relatively far from the village office. In addition, when there is an internet interruption, customers must send short messages to administrator, and then it will be inspected by a technician. Every reported problem is not stored properly, as a result, administrators cannot monitor whether customer complaints have been resolved. To overcome these two problems, a web-based application that is flexible and can be used by users with various computer platforms is proposed. The application development follows the waterfall model. The results of testing using black-box technique show that the functionality of the application is running with a failure percentage of 0%. Meanwhile, the test to determine usability level of the application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed an acceptance rate of 66,2%, meaning that the application is suitable for use even though training for the users is needed.
