Abstract

The development of information technology has changed all the needs in human life. Computers used for data processing and computer networks as data integration clearly make companies and industries interested in using them, and PT Perkebunan Nusantara II Kwala Madu is one of them. Currently, PT Perkebunan Nusantara II Kwala Madu does not have a special application program for data collection on retired employees, so that reporting and filing is difficult to organize. This study aims to complete the data collection process for retired employees from paper-based to digital-based. So it is necessary to create a website-based application using php, bootstrap and mysql. Application development using the waterfall method. The application is designed to fulfill the HRD division in backing up digital-based retirement employee data and following the appropriate steps as the waterfall method works.

Abstract

The State Electricity Company for the North Sumatra Region still uses a manual system, especially in the field of Facilities and Operations (FasOp) in collecting data reports on the Single Line Diagram of Procurement Service Units (SLD-ULP) in North Sumatra. Single Line Diagram (SLD) is a single channel diagram which is currently collected using a manual system so it is not effective and efficient in terms of time and operations, because every employee from each region must collect SLD-ULP data in the form of a manual map and deliver it directly to PLN North Sumatra made through Microsoft Visio. So it is necessary to make SLD-ULP data collection applications to be more effective and efficient. The collection technique used was observation and interviews. After that the authors built an Android-based application using Kodular and Airtable as the database to help employees work more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Scheduling is a classic and commonly encountered issue. Various institutions are currently facing scheduling problems concerning their employees or staff, one of which involves the scheduling of activities at the Electoral Commission (KPU). However, KPU presently relies on a manual system without a structured database system, leading to delays in completing tasks that should ideally be finished on time and making the process vulnerable to errors. To address this, the waterfall method is being utilized for system development, encompassing stages such as system requirement analysis, system design, system development, system testing, and system implementation. The subsequent application is being developed using PHP and MYSQL. The implementation of this scheduling information system aims to facilitate KPU employees in efficiently carrying out their daily tasks and activities, thereby streamlining the scheduling process. By presenting the results of this research, it is expected that the design of the web-based activity scheduling information system for the Election Commission (KPU) can positively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of KPU's tasks related to general elections.

Abstract

Information systems are an important part of an agency because they can provide convenience in many ways, such as making data processing more effective, efficient in decision making, and can save time and costs. Guestbooks which are still done manually can cause confusion in recapitulating the desired guest data and can take quite a long time. Currently at the Sei Kera Hulu Subdistrict Office, processing of guest data is still done manually using stationery. With this, the researcher developed Android-based media which aims to record guest data and facilitate access to guest needs and improve the guest experience in order to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy and the overall guest service experience. The research process carried out starts from problem formulation, determining objectives, literature study, data collection, analysis of current and required systems, system interface design, implementation and testing. The system development method used in this research is the waterfall method which consists of five stages. The results of this research are that the system can run well, making it easier to access guest needs, increasing operational efficiency, data accuracy and the overall guest service experience.

Abstract

Dengan pesatnya perkembangan dunia teknologi informasi, masyarakat selalu ingin mendapatkan informasi dengan mudah, cepat dan akurat. Dengan koneksi Internet, informasi dengan cepat tersedia untuk siapa saja, di mana saja. Selain pengolahan data secara otomatis dan terintegrasi, perhitungan dan penyimpanan data dapat dilakukan dengan cepat dan hasil dapat segera diperoleh dengan informasi yang akurat. Saat ini di BPKAD (Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah), pengelolaan dan pencatatan ang berhubungan dengan kas masuk dan kas keluar sangat sederhana dan tidak sesuai dengan pencatatan akuntansi yang ada serta tidak menganggap pembukuan sebagai alat bukti. Di instansi ini pembuatan laporan keuangan masih dilakukan secara manual. Diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat mencatat semua transaksi yang berhubungan dengan kas masuk dan keluar, untuk memantau semua transaksi yang ada dan untuk menghitung laporan setoran dan penarikan. Proses akuisisi data kemudian dilanjutkan dengan deskripsi. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk mengelola transaksi penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas, buku besar dan laporan penerimaan kas dan pengeluaran. Perancangan yang diimplementasikan pada aplikasi menggunakan desain UML (Unified Modelling Language). Pembuatan aplikasi ini berbasis web dalam bahasa PHP dengan database MySQL. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, instansi dapat mengetahui setiap transaksi yang ada dan dapat melihat laporan dana masuk dan keluar

Abstract

This research aims to design a web-based correspondence information system using the prototype method. The research methodology involves iterative prototype development starting with gathering user requirements followed by designing system prototypes using UML diagrams. The prototypes were evaluated by users to provide feedback for refinements in subsequent iterations. Multiple iterations were conducted until a satisfactory prototype matching the user needs was obtained. The resulting prototype covers core features like incoming and outgoing mail data collection, mail disposition, and reporting. In summary, the prototype method enabled designing a good correspondence information system that fulfills the user requirements before full system implementation.

Abstract

This research focuses on enhancing workforce management at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV by implementing a mobile-based personnel information system. The study addresses inefficiencies in manual HR processes, such as delays in task approvals and limited accessibility to employee data. By applying the Design Thinking methodology, the research identifies key challenges, generates solutions, and tests prototypes to develop an intuitive system. The final product improves workflow efficiency and user satisfaction, as demonstrated by usability testing results. Limitations include dependency on internet connectivity and the scope of testing. Future developments could integrate predictive analytics and expand features for comprehensive HR management

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membuat smartphone menjadi kebutuhan utama bagi banyak orang. Di Raja Ponsel Medan, pembeli sering kesulitan memilih smartphone di tengah beragamnya spesifikasi dan harga. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) agar pembeli dapat memilih smartphone dengan cara yang objektif dan mudah. Dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang membandingkan kriteria, metode AHP digunakan untuk menentukan nilai bobot pada spesifikasi utama (prosesor, RAM, memori, baterai, kamera, dan harga). Bobot tersebut kemudian digunakan oleh metode PROMETHEE untuk melakukan perangkingan alternatif. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengembangan waterfall. Sistem yang dibangun dapat memberikan hasil rekomendasi yang objektif dan akurat. Berdasarkan perhitungan, smartphone Tecno Camon 40 8/256 menjadi pilihan terbaik dengan nilai net flow 0,057144.

Abstract

Industrial Work Practices are a form of directly applying the knowledge gained in the classroom to the industrial world or the world of work. However, in its implementation, problems exist, such as workloads that must be by majors and conditions. This research uses the COPRAS method to build a decision support system to determine the place of industrial work practice at Prama Artha Private Vocational School. This method focuses on resolving each alternative's relative weight and utility and performing complex calculations proportionally. This study used 10 alternative data for internship places as samples and five criteria: student expertise, company division, distance, number of students, and type of company. The results of this study are that the PLN UP3 Pematang Siantar alternative is ranked first with a final calculation result of 100, the USI Pematang Siantar alternative is ranked second with a final calculation result of 96.29 and continued with the Tunas Bangsa STIKOM alternative with a final calculation value of 93.01. This COPRAS ranking system is based on the weights and values given to each criterion so that objectivity and accuracy are guaranteed in determining the place of internship based on the needs and abilities of students. Based on the results of black box testing of the system, it can be concluded that the system as a whole can run according to functionality and is ready for use

Abstract

Areca palm has been widely planted by the people of the Asahan Regency. This plant is cultivated not only by the farmers, but also by many people living in this regency. Therefore, an expert system is needed to help villagers in detecting areca palm desease. In areca palm cultivation, pests and diseases attack always happen. The purpose of this research is to apply an expert system as a tool to diagnose and also provide advice for control. This expert system, in the form of a consultation scenario, can be done by answering every question (yes or no); all answers are compared to the areca palm plants needs based-on expert experience. The inference method used is forward chaining. The output of this system is the types of diseases, percentages, symptoms, definitions, treatment, and prevention.
