Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of minimum investment capital, investment understanding, and investment motivation on interest in investing in the capital market (case study of students at Amikom University, Yogyakarta). The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were all active students at Amikom Yogyakarta University. The sampling technique in this study used accidental sampling. The total sample was 155 respondents. Data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. Data was collected through questionnaires. The partial research results of minimum investment capital and investment motivation have a positive and significant effect on students' interest in investing in the capital market. Meanwhile, understanding has an insignificant positive effect on students' interest in investing in the capital market. Simultaneously, minimum investment capital, investment understanding, and investment motivation have a significant effect on students' investment interest in investing in the capital market.

Abstract

The competitiveness of local agri-food needs through various marketing strategies. An essential part of the company's marketing strategy and tactics is recognizing product brand equity in the market. This study aims to identify brand entities, brand communication, and process to build Brand Equity toward local SMEs' competitiveness. A case study approach did at one of the SMEs in Bandar Lampung on the "FUDIA-Center of Agri-Food Polinela," that produce FUDIA cake & bakery.  The research has conducted from April to July 2020. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive approach using SWOT analysis and a brand development model for SMEs. The analysis results concluded that FUDIA's brand recognition is the initial stage.  Development of the Fudia brand equity must take into account an existing market and expanding market share.  Enhancement market share could trough sales force distribution. Develop more product variants of Fudia Cake & Bakery based on the local source. Strengthen brand equity and develop a remarkable brand image program. Design and setting promotions systematic & massively is a priority.

Abstract

AI-based chatbots are increasingly used in various sectors to improve service efficiency, including in education. This research evaluates the performance of a chatbot on the New Student Admission (PMB) system with the integration of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithms. In its implementation, chatbots play an important role in providing information and answering user questions automatically, but often have difficulty in understanding complex conversational contexts. The use of RNN and LSTM algorithms is expected to overcome the limitations of traditional chatbots in understanding conversational context and providing more relevant responses. The evaluation results show that the integration of RNN and LSTM is able to improve the quality of chatbot responses, both in terms of accuracy of 92.86% and relevance in complex conversation scenarios. The proposed chatbot proved to be effective in understanding user requests and providing faster answer responses compared to the conventional methods used. This implementation provides a more optimal solution in the PMB system, which is expected to be implemented at STMIK AKI Pati.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater, to find out whether user convenience has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater and whether the consumptive lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The PLS measurement model consists of three main elements: the outer model, the goodness of fit criteria, and the inner model. Then the results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater, ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater, and a consumptive lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on the use of Shopee Paylater for students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

One of the agro-industry players in processed food products in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, is KWT Canala. KWT in Punggur Regency merged into an organization called the KWT forum of Punggur Regency. The application of digital marketing technology in KWT in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency is;  The application of the internet is still very limited, this is due to the low skills of internet applications that can be used in business. The low use of digital media in business is caused by incompetent expertise in using the internet, social media, marketplaces, and product promotion.  Therefore, it is necessary to provide assistance to KWT members in implementing digital marketing so that sales volume increases. This program aims to provide assistance to MSMEs in Punggur Regency related to the manufacture of attractive labels and packaging that are able to compete in the market as well as the application of digital marketing in improving the performance of local food product businesses so that it can increase KWT's sales volume and revenue. The methods used are lectures, discussions and demonstrations through pre-activity activities (permit management, consolidation), exercises and demonstrations, development and evaluation of online stores (initial evaluation, process evaluation and evaluation of results or sustainability impacts). The result of this program is to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME managers in Punggur District about making labels, packaging and the use of digital marketing for products to be produced.

Abstract

Rice is an important and staple commodity for the food consumption of the Indonesian people. Lowland rice production in East Lampung Regency is in second place with 466,563.66 tons after Central Lampung with 555,127.87 tons. In 2020 the fifth largest rice production in East Lampung Regency is Pekalongan District with 37,789 tons and has a harvested area of 6,910 ha. The agricultural area in Jojog Village is the highest compared to other villages in Pekalongan District. However, this area of land is not proportional to the amount of harvest produced and the income of farmers. The purpose of writing this final project is to analyze the income of paddy rice farming in Jojog Village. The determination of the sample in this final project uses a non-probability sampling technique, which is a data collection technique or sample so that all data is likely to be selected as a sample that is not the same size, using a purposive sampling technique, namely by deliberately determining respondents consisting of 60 farmers, namely 30 respondents rice farming established variety and 30 respondents rice farming impari variety 32. The analytical method used is the analysis of farm income. The results showed that the average production of established variety rice was 2,647 kg/farmer or 7,058 kg/ha with a selling price of IDR 4300/kg, while for the impari 32 variety 2,372 kg/farmer or 6,777 kg/ha with a selling price of IDR 4300/kg obtained an average income of rice farming of the impari 32 variety of IDR 5,664,603/farmer or IDR 16,184,581/ha. The R/C ratio value of the established variety was 2.23 and the B/C ratio was 1.23, while the R/C ratio value for the impari 32 variety was 2.25 and the B/C ratio was 2.25 indicating that lowland rice farming in Jojog village is profitable.

Abstract

Cassava is the third largest consumption food in Indonesia after rice and wheat, which is 6.78% per capita per year. One of the commodities cultivated in Mataram Udik Village is cassava. Increased income and production of cassava will be achieved if fertilization is optimal. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence production and to analyze the income of cassava farming in Mataram Udik Village, Bandar Mataram District. This research was conducted from July to August 2022. Sampling was carried out by simple random sampling and the number of respondents was 43 cassava farmers. Data analysis in this study used multiple regression analysis with the production function of the Cobb-Douglas equation and income analysis. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the factors that influence cassava production at a significant level of 5% are land area (X1), seeds (X2), chemical fertilizers (X3), labor (X5) and dummy organic fertilizers (D1). While the production factors that have no significant effect on cassava production are herbicides (X4), because the probability value is more than the 5% significance value - the average income for cassava farming is Rp. 95,407,121/2.47 ha and Rp. 38,632,085/ha in one growing season. The average total cost of cassava farming is Rp. 32,598,717/2.47 ha and Rp. 13,197,861/ha. The average income of cassava farmers is Rp. 62,808,404/2.47 ha and Rp. 25,428,504/ha in one growing season. In cassava farming, an R/C ratio of 2.92 and a B/C ratio of 1.92 means that every Rp. 1 spent will generate revenue of Rp. 2.92. This R/C ratio explains that cassava farming is feasible and the B/C value is greater than 1 which means cassava farming is profitable and can be increased.

Abstract

Rejoasri Village, Seputih Raman District, is one of the villages that implements sustainable agricultural practices, namely non-chemical pesticide rice farming that produces rice free of chemical pesticide residue "Berasera". The problem faced in farming is the low productivity of paddy fields so that the level of technical efficiency of rice farming is also low. This will cause economic sustainability to also be low. The objectives of this study are (1) Analyze the factors that affect the production of non-chemical pesticide paddy paddy farming, (2) Analyze the level of technical efficiency of non-chemical pesticide paddy paddy farming, and (3) Analyze the determinants of in-efficiency of non-chemical pesticide paddy paddy farming in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency. This research will be carried out in Rejoasri Village, Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency. The research sample was taken as many as 30 people. The research data will be analyzed in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive manner. The data will be tabulated, analyzed mathematically, and analyzed statistically according to the research objectives. Itwill be processed using a computer using frontier software version 4.1. The first, second, and third research objectives were analyzed using the stochastic frontier production function approach. The technical efficiency for a farmer ranges from zero to one or the Technical Efficiency (TEi) value is 0 ≤ TEi ≤ 1. The results showed that the factors that had a significant effect on the production of non-chemical pesticide rice were the area of agricultural land (X1), organic fertilizer (X4), and vegetable pesticides (X5), while the factors that did not have a significant effect on the production of non-chemical pesticide rice were the Seed variable (X2), the inorganic fertilizer variable (X3), and the rice farming labor variable (X6). The average value of technical efficiency of non-chemical pesticide rice production in the region is 0.8737, which means that the cultivation of non-chemical pesticide rice has been efficient, because the technical efficiency value is with an average of > 0.7000. There are 86.6667% of farmers who have achieved technical efficiency, and as many as 13.3333% of farmers have not achieved technical efficiency in the non-chemical pesticide rice business. Significant factors affecting the technical inefficiency of non-chemical pesticide rice farming are age, education, and experience in non-chemical pesticide rice farming.

Abstract

Mitra dalam program pendampingan ini adalah Jessamyn yang mempunya bidang usaha mikro berupa produk baby care, aromaterapi, dan produk spa. Dalam pengelolaan transaksi keuangan masih menggunakan cara manual menggunakan buku tulis, sehingga dapat terjadi kekeliruan pencatatan, selisih transaksi, rentan kesalahan, catatan hilang maupun rusak. Pencatatan transaksi keuangan juga belum dilakukan secara terstruktur sesuai dengan siklus akuntansi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan transformasi digital dalam melakukan manajemen keuangan berbasis sistem dan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengelolaan keuangan. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akurasi pencatatan keuangan dan meningkatkan skalabilitas bisnis secara bertahap. Program pendampingan berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi Mitra dari level dasar ke level yang lebih tinggi pada seluruh aspek manajemen keuangan. Berdasarkan instrumen pre-test dan post-test, pada awalnya kompetensi pengelolaan keuangan secara keseluruhan rata-rata adalah 34,375%. Setelah pelaksanaan pendampingan rata-rata nilai indeks kompetensi menjadi 79,375%, artinya secara keseluruhan pada aspek manajemen keuangan terjadi peningkatan kompetensi sebesar 45%. Peningkatan nilai indeks menjadi bukti dari efektivitas pendampingan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan keuangan. Implementasi Sistem Manajemen Keuangan yang terintegrasi dengan sistem e-commerce dapat mendukung strategi usaha Jessamyn yang belum mempunyai toko fisik untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar (market reach). Dukungan digital payment gateway pada sistem e-commerce bertujuan untuk perlindungan transaksi yang aman. Sehingga, dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dan mendorong pertambahan volume penjualan dengan penambahan kanal digital untuk pembelian produk. Transformasi berbasis digital menjadikan proses bisnis lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan tren belanja, peluang ekonomi yang terus bertumbuh, dan meningkatkan daya saing untuk keberlanjutan industri rumah tangga maupun UMKM.
