Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving elementary school students’ science literacy knowledge on the topic of earthquake disaster preparedness. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 04, SD Negeri 08, and SD Negeri 11 in Bengkulu City. Samples were selected using a cluster random sampling technique, resulting in class IVB of SDN 08 as the experimental group and class IVA of SDN 11 as the control group. Data were collected using a science literacy test covering three knowledge aspects: content, procedural, and epistemic. Data analysis was conducted using an independent sample t-test, gain score calculation, and effect size (Cohen’s d), assisted by SPSS version 29. The analysis results revealed a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The high gain score and effect size value (Cohen’s d = 1.27) indicate that the PBL model is highly effective in enhancing students’ science literacy knowledge. The implementation of this model has been proven to strengthen conceptual understanding, scientific skills, and epistemic awareness, which are essential for disaster preparedness. Therefore, the PBL model is recommended as a relevant and contextual learning approach for elementary education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the use of YouTube videos affects the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students in Bengkulu City. This research uses a matched only pretest-posttest control group design and is quantitative with a quasi-experimental methodology. Class IV of SDN 3 Kota Bengkulu was the research population. The sample selection used total sampling, meaning that all members of class IV SDN 3 Bengkulu City were in class IVA as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class. The pretest and posttest are descriptive questions. Prerequisite tests, hypothesis tests, and descriptive statistics are data analysis methods in this research. Apply t-test to evaluate the hypothesis. At a significance level of 5%, the research findings produce Sig.(2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.005. Specifically, students in the experimental class got the highest pretest score of 60, while students in the control class got the lowest score of 20 with an average of 43.12. In the experimental class, the highest pretest score was 61 and the lowest score was 8. The homogeneity test results were in the homogeneous version, and the normality test results showed that both samples had a normal distribution. Apart from that, there is a difference in the average score of the experimental class (83.64) and the control class (64.28) on the posttest of 22.36. Thus, it can be said that the use of YouTube media for grade IV students in Bengkulu City has an impact on their mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan tari Persembahan Propinsi Bengkulu dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan kurikulum akan praktik pembelajaran seni tari di jenjang sekolah dasar dan melestarikan tari tardisional Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan danketerampilan guru dalam mempraktikkan tari Persembahan Propinsi Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi untuk mendeskripsi proses pelatihan dan praktik tari Persembahan dan tes untuk mengukur pengetahuan guru (pretest dan postest). Hasil kegiatan ini guru dapat mengikuti proses pelatihan dan praktik dengan baik, serta hasil pretest dan postest menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu hanya 36,36% guru yang mampu mendapatkan nilai ≥ 60 saat pretest, meningkat menjadi 81,82%guru mampu mendapatkan nilai ≥ 60 saat postest. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan guru sasaran baik dari segi teoretis maupun praktik.

Abstract

This  study  aimed  to  describe  the  management  of  thematic  learning  in  developing spiritual attitudes related to learning design, implementation and evaluation of learning spiritual  attitude  in  class  III  B  Elementary school  number  09  Bengkulu  City.  The method in this research is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by means of data reduction, data display, and verification. Furthermore, to test the validity of the data used extension of observation, improve endurance, triangulation techniques, and check.  In  this  study concluded that  1) Design  /  thematic lesson  planning done by teachers using the syllabus and lesson plans. 2) Implementation of learning is already visible management spiritual attitude. Preliminary activities through reading prayers. Core activities through the implementation of learning that teachers can use to associate the material in accordance with the management of spiritual attitudes, and activities such as closing prayer after completion of learning. 3) Evaluation of management of spiritual attitudes of teachers conducted in a way to make observations on the spiritual attitude of students daily from early learning to finish. Evaluation of teachers carried out using observation without special note.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah konsep dasar geometri dan pengukuran dan meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa PGSD dalam membuat alat peraga matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada mata kuliah konsep dasar geometri dan pengukuran. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keaktifan mahasiswa dan lembar observasi keterampilan mahasiswa dalam membuat alat peraga. data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor observasi keaktifan mahasiswa sebesar 36 dengan kriteria baik dan untuk nilai rata-rata skor observasi keterampilan mahasiswa sebesar 36 dengan kriteria baik. pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yaitu untuk nilai rata-rata skor observasi keaktifan mahasiswa sebesar 47,5 dengan kriteria amat baik dan nilai rata-rata skor observasi keterampilan mahasiswa sebesar 45,5 dengan kriteria amat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada mata kuliah konsep dasar geometri dan pengukuran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membuat alat peraga bagi mahasiswa PGSD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between moral intelligence and social intelligence of elementary school students Class IV XII Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research using correlational research method. The population in this study all elementary school students Gugus XII Bengkulu City as much as 4 elementary school with 240 students. The sample in this study were 34 students taken proportionately. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique using product moment correlation formula and t test. The results of this study indicate that the value of r hitung = 0.471 is greater than r tabel = 0.339, with contribution percent 22.17% and at significant level (t hitung) 3.019 which means Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship between moral intelligence and social intelligence of elementary school students in grade IV XII of Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently promoting literacy education. One of the highlights is mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy ability in Indonesia is still relatively low. This is evidenced by the results of the 2018 Program for International Assessment (PISA) survey, in the field of mathematics, Indonesia is ranked 72 out of 78 countries with a score of 379. The objectives of the research are: to improve students' mathematical literacy skills in the Basic Concepts of geometry and measurement lectures in PGSD FKIP Study Program, Bengkulu University by applying a realistic mathematics education (RME) model. This research uses action research method (Action Research). Data collection techniques aspects of the management of the learning process will collect data in the form of information through observation, and tests of mathematical literacy skills then summarized and described in the form of a data matrix. Data were analyzed through qualitative descriptive. The results of the study have been carried out in lectures by applying the RME model in the Basic Concepts of Geometry and Measurement course. Students' mathematical literacy test results also increased. The highest increase in the aspect of context literacy.

Abstract

STEM is an approach that combines four scientific disciplines namely, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics which collaborate in helping students to collect, analyze and solve problems be able to understand the relationship between a problem and other problems in one learning process. This study aims to analyze the Mathematics textbooks of fifth grade Elementary School Students in terms of the Elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study was Mathematics textbook fifth grade 2013 curriculum. The results showed that in each material at KD 3.5 and 3.6 in terms of the STEM approach were (1) for elements of science (Science) emergence the indicator of 50% in KD 3.5 is 15. while in KD 3.6 there is no occurrence. (2) for Technology elements, the occurrence of 75% indicator in KD 3.5 is 31. Meanwhile, in KD 3.6, the occurrence of 50% indicator in KD 3.5 is 6. (3) for Engineering elements, the occurrence of indicator is 80% in KD 3.5 79. Meanwhile, in KD 3.6 the occurrence of 80% indicator in KD 3.6 was 34. (4) for Mathematics elements, the occurrence of 100% indicator in KD 3.5 was 183. Meanwhile in KD 3.6 the occurrence of 100% indicator in KD 3.6 was 28.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan bahan ajar untuk mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Bilangan (GSD-104) dengan bobot 2 sks pada Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah dasar Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Bahan ajar ini juga dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Project Based Learning. Hasil Penelitian ini berupa produk bahan ajar yang terdiri dari Rencana Program Semester (RPS) dan Buku Ajar Konsep Dasar Bilangan. Rencana Program Semester mata kuliah ini disusun menjadi 32 pertemuan. Buku Ajar yang disusun terdiri dari 21 bab materi tentang konsep dasar bilangan. Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini berjudul “Pendampingan Pembuatan Karya Seni Rupa Gambar Dekoratif Teknik Cap Bagi Siswa Kelas I di SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu”. Sekolah Mitra pada kegiatan PKM yang diusulkan ini adalah SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu. Sekolah ini berlokasi di jalan  Prof. Dr. Hazairin , SH, kelurahan malebero kecamatan teluk segara Kota Bengkulu. Sekolah dengan akreditasi A ini  mulai berdiri pada tahun 1938. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru dan siswa kelas IC SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu dalam membuat gambar dekoratif dengan teknik cap menggunakan pelepah pisang. Hasil kegiatan ini telah terlaksana kegiatan Pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk guru dan siswa kelas I SDN 01  Kota Bengkulu pada tanggal 12-17 Juni 2023. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini guru dan siswa memiliki keterampilan dalam menggambar dekoratif menggunakan teknik Cap. Siswa tampak antusias dalam membuat karya seni rupa dengan teknik cap ini. Gambar yang dihasilkan bertema hewan dan tumbuhan. Kreativitas gambar yang dihasilkan sudah memenuhi unsur-unsur seni rupa walaupun masih sederhana.
