Abstract

The research was conducted because of the high number of cases of children experiencing the absence of a father figure, both physically and psychologically, especially in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the academic resilience experiences of fatherless students in the upper grades of elementary school. The method used is a qualitative case study with the subjects being fatherless students, 5th and 6th-grade teachers, and student parents. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and documentation. The research results indicate that students exhibit differences in building their academic resilience through perseverance, openness to seeking help, and varying ways of managing negative emotions. The main supporting factors are the roles of mothers, teachers, and a supportive social environment. This research is expected to serve as a reference for educators and parents in supporting fatherless students.Penelitian dilakukan karena banyaknya kasus anak yang mengalami ketiadaan peran ayah secara fisik maupun psikologis terutama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengalaman resiliensi akademik siswa fatherless di kelas tinggi sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan subjek siswa fatherless, guru kelas V dan VI, serta orang tua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dalam membangun resiliensi akademiknya melalui sikap pantang menyerah, keterbukaan mencari bantuan, dan cara yang berbeda dalam mengelola emosi negatif. Faktor pendukung utama adalah peran ibu, guru, dan lingkungan sosial yang suportif. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik dan orang tua dalam mendukung siswa fatherless.

Abstract

The learning achievements obtained by each participant are formed from discipline, self- confidence and responsibility, which are character education values that really need to be instilled in the lives of students, especially at elementary school level. Character education in Indonesia is a national movement to create schools to nurture an ethical, responsible young generation, because character education places greater emphasis on aspects of universal values. Where several programs implemented are always religious in nature so as to form noble moral character. The development process is carried out continuously through subjects, self-development and a harmonious school culture. Looking at the conditions above, it shows that the application of character in this school is very necessary in forming noble character in students. The compatibility between character education and student achievement is considered to be very related and in accordance with the school's vision and mission, which always prioritizes religious values.

Abstract

Education plays a very important role in the social, economic, and cultural development of a nation. Teachers, as the main element in the education process, play a major role in improving the quality of learning. This study aims to explore the importance of innovation management and teacher creativity in improving collaborative learning in schools. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach, which collects data from related books, articles, and journals. The results of the study indicate that effective innovation management can improve the quality of learning through the application of technology, curriculum development, and more optimal resource management. Creative teachers are able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere, which has a direct impact on student motivation and learning outcomes. The study also emphasizes that to support this innovation, the active role of the principal, parents, and the community is needed in creating a climate that supports teacher creativity. In addition, this study recommends that educational policies that support the implementation of innovation continue to be strengthened and pay attention to supporting factors such as teacher training and the use of technology in learning. Further research can further examine the application of specific technology in learning and the role of the principal in supporting educational innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of academic anxiety of fifth-grade students facing summative assessments at SDIT Atikah Musaddad Al-Wasilah Garut in the 2024/2025 academic year. Academic anxiety is understood as a psychological condition that arises when students face academic demands in the form of exams or tests, characterized by fear, worry, and emotional stress. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. The instrument used was an academic anxiety questionnaire compiled based on physical, cognitive, and behavioral aspects. Data analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, normality tests, and descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS version 27 software. The results showed that the level of academic anxiety of students was in the fairly high category, with a distribution of 20% in the low category, 50% in the moderate category, and 30% in the high category. The dominant symptoms experienced by students included difficulty concentrating, excessive nervousness during exams, worry about getting low grades, and pressure due to parental and teacher expectations. These findings indicate that academic anxiety has the potential to affect the learning process, reduce self-confidence, and impact assessment results. Therefore, intervention strategies are needed that involve teachers, schools, and parents in helping students manage their academic anxiety more effectively.
