Abstract

The current top priority for an educational institution is to improve the quality of instruction. The key component in creating sustainable education is this. The effectiveness of lecturers is one factor that impacts educational quality. This study examines the connection between lecturer performance and educational quality at private West Javan universities with a waqf foundation. This study is a quantitative explanatory study. At private West Javan universities with a waqf foundation, 113 lecturers were randomly chosen to participate in the survey. On a scale of 1 to 5, respondents were asked to complete an online questionnaire. The Pearson product-moment correlation test was used to examine the acquired data to determine whether there was a relationship between the variables and how strong that relationship was. The findings revealed that for the variable quality of instruction and teacher performance, the Pearson correlation (r count) was 0.680 with a significance level of 0.000. The estimated value for r, which is 0.176, is higher than the number from the r table. Variables have created a strong and favorable association with one another. Conclusion: The professors perform better when the quality of the education is higher.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy; however, they encounter various challenges in effectively managing their finances. Financial literacy serves as a pivotal factor influencing the financial performance of MSMEs. This study seeks to analyze the correlation between financial literacy and the financial performance of MSMEs across three regions: Bogor, Depok, and Kuningan. A quantitative study methodology was employed, utilizing a survey of MSME owners as respondents. Data were gathered through a questionnaire to assess financial literacy and financial performance, measured by profitability, operational efficiency, and business sustainability indicators. The findings indicate a significant relationship between the financial literacy level and MSMEs' financial performance. MSMEs exhibiting higher levels of financial literacy tend to demonstrate superior financial performance compared to those with lower levels of financial literacy. The implications of this study emphasize the necessity of enhancing financial education programs for MSME stakeholders to improve their capabilities in efficiently managing business finances.

Data was obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and publications by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that corporate governance and risk management have a significant effect on company performance, while financial digitalization has a mediating role in increasing company value through increased operational efficiency and transparency. These findings affirm the importance of integrating governance, risk, and digitalization strategies in the face of the era of technology-based finance.

Abstract

Research aim: The purpose of this study is to find efforts to reduce the turnover intention of an employee by examining the factors that become antecedents of the turnover intention of an employee, namely work stress and job burnout. Design/Methode/Approach: Quantitative approach with survey method, using regression analysis (path analysis) and quantitative data (from questionnaires). Finding: This study reveals that work stress and job burnout positively influence turnover intention, with job burnout mediating the relationship between work stress and turnover intention, while life stressors, feeling ineffective in dealing with others at work, and actively seeking a new job are identified as the most influential factors. Theoretical contribution/Originality: The theoretical contribution of this research lies in its special emphasis on the influence of perceived outcomes of stress and the importance of harmonious relationships between coworkers in reducing the impact. Practitioner/Policy implication: Concerning the turnover intention of their employee to decrease the turnover of employees by reducing stress levels and reducing job burnout in employees. Research limitation: This study only used samples from branch offices in Java Island, as well as its examination of only three variables (Work Stress, Job Burnout, and Turnover Intention). We recommend further research to use a wider sample.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of banking health, measured using the RGEC method comprising Risk Profile (Non-Performing Loans/NPL), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earnings (BOPO), and Capital (Capital Adequacy Ratio/CAR), on firm value with profitability, represented by Return on Assets (ROA), as a moderating variable. The research is driven by inconsistencies between theoretical expectations and empirical data in Indonesia’s banking sector during 2019–2023. It aims to determine the extent to which RGEC components affect firm value and whether ROA strengthens or weakens these relationships. The sample consists of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2019 and 2023. A quantitative approach is employed using panel data regression to examine direct effects and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to assess interaction effects. The findings reveal that the impact of NPL, GCG, BOPO, and CAR on firm value (measured by Price to Book Value/PBV) varies across indicators. While ROA significantly influences firm value, its moderating effect is only partially confirmed. These results indicate that profitability does not consistently amplify the influence of RGEC variables on firm value, suggesting the presence of other influencing factors such as macroeconomic conditions or managerial practices. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening financial performance alongside good governance, effective risk management, and capital efficiency to enhance sustainable firm value. The findings provide practical implications for bank managers and regulators in aligning profitability strategies with efforts to increase market valuation.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial performance and capital structure on firm value with dividend policy as a moderating variable. The sample in this study was 13 property and real estate sector companies from 2011 to 2020, with a total of 130 observations. This study found that financial performance and capital structure positively affect firm value. Meanwhile, this study finds that dividend policy cannot moderate the effect of financial performance and capital structure on firm value. The results of this study indicate that property and real estate investors still prioritize the firm's financial performance. Investors are relatively more cautious in investing in property and real estate sector companies even though the dividends offered are pretty high. Thus, property and real estate sector companies need to be more creative in improving their financial performance and obtaining resources to develop their business.
