Abstract

The Tajur Halang SME Forum is an organization that consists of business operators who reside in the Tajur Halang District of Bogor Regency.These operators face challenges in marketing their products, introducing them to customers, and securing business capital for ongoing operations.The aim of this community service is to offer training in digital marketing, social media utilization for product marketing, and accessible methods for acquiring business capital.The approach involves a series of training sessions that start with group forum discussions, a situational analysis of the partners, pre-tests, main training activities, and post-tests.The results of these activities show an improvement in the partners' knowledge, skills, and abilities in digital marketing, using Instagram for branding and brand awareness, managing engagement, and accessing business capital

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the differences in the financial performance of conventional commercial banks and Sharia commercial banks by using 5 bank financial ratios, namely Loan to loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). This research method is descriptive and comparative. The population taken for this research was 74 conventional commercial banks and 12 sharia commercial banks. Samples were taken using nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The research results show that there are significant differences between conventional commercial banks and sharia commercial banks when viewed from ROA, ROE, and BOPO. Meanwhile, if we look at LDR/FDR, NPL/NPF, and CAR, there are no significant differences between conventional commercial banks and Sharia commercial banks. This implies that Islamic banks should be able to maximize income from each product and also optimize their operational costs.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kinerja keuangan bank umum konvensional dan bank umum syariah dengan menggunakan 5 rasio keuangan bank, yaitu Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Beban Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) dan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan komparatif. Populasi yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah 74 bank umum konvensional dan 12 bank umum syariah. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan non probability sampling dengan pendekatan purvosive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara bank umum konvensional dan bank umum syariah jika dilihat dari ROA, ROE dan BOPO. Sedangkan jika dilihat dari LDR/FDR, NPL/NPF dan CAR tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara bank umum kovensional dan bank umum syariah. Hal ini mengimplikasikan bank syariah sebaiknya dapat memaksimalkan pendapatan dari setiap produk dan juga mengoptimalkan biaya operasionalnya.

Abstract

Masyarakat adat Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat. Adalah masyarakat adat yang masih mempertahankan pola hidup tradisionalnya yang kaya akan kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan tanah, pertanian, dan sumber daya air. Namun penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi sirkular perlu disempurnakan lebih lanjut, seperti prinsip repair dan recovery pada penggunaan tanah dan sistem pertanian, serta prinsip recycle pada pengolahan air. Oleh karena itu, perlu peran Perguruan Tinggi untuk memberikan penyuluhan akan pentingnya hal itu. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan ada antusias pada masyarakat Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi sirkular, terutama pada pengelolaan tanah dan pertanian. Masyarakat menggunakan polikultur, pupuk organik, dan bibit turun-temurun untuk menjaga kesuburan tanah dan meminimalisir limbah pertanian. Selain itu, air dimanfaatkan secara efisien, termasuk penggunaannya sebagai sumber energi listrik melalui PLTA dengan menggunakan turbin. Sehingga kedepannya, masyarakat adat Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar dapat dijadikan contoh bagi masyarakat lain dalam menerapkan konsep ekonomi sirkular. Keberhasilan mereka dalam memanfaatkan kearifan lokal untuk mencapai keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi regional merupakan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan model ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar traditional village is in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The majority of the village population lives from rice cultivation, and the village is very attached to the culture of their ancestors. The combination of cultural and natural aspects offers an experience to tourists. Tourism development that combines these two aspects allows the creation of sustainable and responsible tourism products, which not only increase economic value but also preserve and respect cultural heritage and natural sustainability. Community service activities carried out aim to provide input to traditional stakeholders and the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar community in identifying and analyzing potential tourist attractions from a cultural and natural perspective and strategies for developing tourist attractions. Community service activities in the form of community assistance were carried out on December 17, 2023. The results included identifying natural and cultural tourist attractions in Kasepuhan Ciptagelar and providing information about tourism potential, tourism management, and tourism marketing as input to traditional stakeholders and local communities.

Abstract

The main problem for private universities in Indonesia is the ability to finance the institution's  operations independently and the main source of income for financing is still sourced from tuition fees paid by students. For waqf-based private universities, another problem is that assets cannot be used as collateral to obtain funding assistance from financial institutions. This situation causes waqf-based private universities to strive to manage finances properly for there is no waste and fraud. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of transformational leadership, organizational commitment and competence of financial human resources through a balanced budget policy on the effectiveness of waqf-based private university financial management. The research method used was explanatory, and the data were collected using a questionnaire given by waqf-based private university financial leaders and staff, then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of the research shows that balanced budget policies mediate transformational leadership, organizational commitment, financial HR competence have a positive influence on Financial Management Effectiveness as illustrated by t-statistic value (4.021) > 1.66 with a p-value (0.000) <0.05. Waqf-based private universities can increase the effectiveness of financial management through a balanced budget policy model in accordance with the characteristics of the institution supported by proper leadership, organizational commitment and competence of financial human resources which are continuously improved.

Abstract

Research on maggot farming business development strategies is still relatively limited. This research is important because it provides recommendations for business strategies that can maximize the development of the company's business. The Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larval cultivation business at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank has the potential to grow bigger. Business strategy provides sustainable planning to manage resources comprehensively and identify conditions for achieving future business success and gaining maximum profit. This research was conducted at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank, Bogor City, which was selected purposively because the BSF larval cultivation activities there have the potential to be developed further. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data sourced from primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through surveys and direct observations by researchers, while secondary data were obtained from institutional reports, journals, books, news articles, and other library sources. Internal environment (IFE) and external environment (EFE) analysis were conducted to identify factors that could influence business success. The results of this analysis were used in the Internal-External Matrix (IE) which produced three main strategies: Growth, Stability, and Reduction Strategies. These strategies are the basis for developing the maggot cultivation business at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution is a time when human work in various fields began to be replaced by machines. This study wants to examine how the effect of Return of Assets and Sales growth on firm size. The population in this study were 263 companies. And observations were made in accordance with the criteria and found a total sample of 40 companies. The data analysis method used in this research is Regression. The results are 1) Return on Assets has a negative effect on financial distress 2) Sales Growth has a negative effect on financial distress is rejected.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the elements that account for the impact of financial ratios on financial difficulty. This will be achieved by treating firm size as a moderating variable that either enhances or diminishes the independent variable in connection to the dependent variable during the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey comprised a total of 263 companies. Observations were carried out consistent with the specified criteria, resulting in a total sample size of 40 companies. This study use regression as the data analysis technique. 1) Finding shows current ratio has adverse effect to financial distress. 2) The debt-to-asset ratio positively affects financial stability. 3) The significance of the current ratio on financial difficulty is reduced with the size of the firm. 4) The debt-to-asset ratio during financial crises is influenced by the size of the firm.

Abstract

The company aims to improve the welfare of shareholders by obtaining high company value as measured through various aspects including the company's stock price which can reflect the overall investor assessment of each equity owned in the Automotive and Component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The data in this study are secondary data obtained through the company's annual financial reports which will be studied during the 2019-2023 period. This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure, company size, managerial ownership and institutional ownership on company value as proxied by price to book value (PBV). The sample selection method uses the purposive sampling methodnamely the selection of sample members based on certain criteria, with the number of companies sampled in this study as many as 12 companies, namely automotive and component sub-sector companies with an observation period of five years, so that the total observation data is 60. The research method used is a quantitative research method. The regression results show that for 2019-2023, Capital Structure (0.787), Managerial Ownership (-0; 364) and Institutional Ownership (0.461) have a significant effect on Financial Performance (0,995) while Company Size (0.015) does not have a significant effect on company value

Abstract

The impact of COVID-19 on the Indonesian economy is inevitable, at least on the financial market, due to the weakening of economic growth due to the corona virus pandemic. Banks on a small scale are also at risk of bad credit because they continue to provide loans to debtors. Banks do not only focus on collecting funds from customer deposits, the funds that have been collected are channeled back to the community in the form of loans or credit. This is done so that the money accumulated in the bank can continue to operate, the risk is quite large and can threaten the health of the bank, the most haunting bank is bad credit (NPL - Non-Performing Loan). NPL is a threat to sustainable development for developing countries. The purpose of this research is to look at the effect of inflation, exchange rates (exchange rates), LDR (Loan Deposit Ratio), BOPO (Operating Costs to Operating Income) and CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) on NPLs at conventional banks in 2016−2020. The research method is quantitative research based on positive philosophy, used to examine certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical in nature with the aim of testing hypotheses that are has been established. The results of the study show that conventional commercial banks listed on the IDX for the period 2016 to 2020 Inflation has no effect on non-performing loans. The Rupiah Exchange Rate has no effect on Non-Performing Loans. Size has no effect on Non-Performing Loans. Size has no effect on Non-Performing Loans. LDR has an effect on Non-Performing Loans. CAR has no effect on Non-Performing Loans.
