Abstract

Prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri sebesar 29% di dunia, Remaja putri berisiko lebih tinggi terkena anemia. Remaja putri mengalami haid setiap bulan dengan kehilangan zat besi ±1,3 mg per hari. Pemerintah mempunyai program untuk remaja putri di sekolah yaitu memberikan satu butir Tablet tambah darah setiap minggu sepanjang tahun (total 52 butir). Dampak masalah gizi akibat kekurangan zat gizi yang berperan dalam pembentukan hemoglobin, dapat karena kekurangan konsumsi tablet besi atau tablet tambah darah serta gangguan absorbsi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang tablet tambah darah dan praktik minum tablet tambah darah pada remaja putri di SMP Negeri 1 Ketapang Lampung Selatan tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian quasy experimental design menggunakan pendekatan non equivalent control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja puteri kelas IX. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 43 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 43 responden sebagai kelompok intervensi. Sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 86 responden. Teknik sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Ketapang Lampung Selatan pada tanggal 24 Oktober 2022 s/d 31 Januari 2023. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner, lembar observasi, SAP dan Leaflet. Analisa data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang tablet tambah darah pada remaja putri didapatkan nilai p-value 0.035 (<0.05), kemudian ada pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap praktik minum tablet tambah darah pada remaja putri didapatkan nilai p-value 0.000 (<0.05). Diharapkan remaja rutin mengkonsumsi tablet Fe yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan. Melakukan kerjasama lintas sekotoral guna meningkatkan pemberian penyuluhan untuk menambah pengetahuan remaja tentang tablet tambah darah dan cara konsumsi serta dampak manfaat yang diberikan dari tablet tambah darah, menyediakan waktu dan tempat untuk proses penyuluhan kepada siswa/siswi di sekolah.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Nutritional status is a reflection of the size of the fulfillment of nutritional needs obtained from the intake and use of nutrients by the body. One of the factors that affect nutrition in toddlers is the level of parental education. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of protein and carbohydrate adequacy, the activeness of weighing, the level of maternal knowledge with nutritional status in toddlers aged 12-59 months in Ulak Rengas Village, Abung Tinggi District, North Lampung Regency in 2024. Method: The type of research used was quantitative with a cross sectional design. Data collection was done by interview using a structured questionnaire and 2x24 hour food recall. The population in this study were mothers and toddlers 12-59 months, while the samples taken were 44 mothers and toddlers. Bivariate analysis in this study used the Gamma test. Result: The results obtained ρ value 0.001 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship between the level of protein adequacy with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-5h9 months, ρ value <.001 < α (0.05) there is a relationship between the level of carbohydrate adequacy with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months, ρ value 0.854 < α (0.05) there is no relationship between weighing activity with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months, the results of ρ value 0.854 < α (0.05) there is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months. Conclusion: Answering the research objectives. Should consist of There is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months.

Abstract

The menstrual cycle in adolescent girls or women ranges from 21 up to 35 days, with 10 up to 15% having a menstrual cycle of 28 days and a menstrual duration of 3 up to 5 days. However, some also last 7 to 8 days, depending on each individual. Irregular menstrual cycles can have an impact on fertility and reproductive disorders and can make it difficult to get pregnant because ovulation does not occur. The research objective was to determine the correlation between nutritional status, stress levels and the menstrual cycle in female students of Islamic Schooling of Madrasah Tsanawiyah State 2 Tanggamus 2024. Data collection was carried out using analytical survey analysis with a cross-sectional design. The population of this research was 328 class VII and class VIII female students, with a sample of 90 female students. Data analysis used the Chi-square statistical test and gamma test. After conducting statistical tests using the gamma test, a p-value of 0.044 was obtained, meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This shows there was a correlation between nutritional status and the menstrual cycle in female students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) State 2 Tanggamus in 2024. On the other hand, the results of statistical tests using the chi-square test show a p-value of 0.725, which means Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. In other words, there is no correlation between stress levels and the menstrual cycle of female students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS) State 2 Tanggamus in 2024. It was concluded that there was a correlation between nutritional status and the menstrual cycle in female students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) State 2 Tanggamus in 2024, there was no correlation between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in female students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) State 2 Tanggamus in 2024.

Abstract

Anemia is a world health problem, especially in developing countries. Anemia is a condition where there is a decrease in hemoglobin levels or a decrease in the number of red blood cells circulating in the body compared to normal values ​​based on age, gender and physiological conditions. Adolescent girls are a group that is more prone to suffering from anemia than adolescent boys. Because every month young women experience menstruation, apart from that, young women often maintain their appearance and want to be thin so they go on a diet and eat less. Knowledge of young women regarding anemia is still low, namely 64.3%, so this will have an impact on preventing anemia. Other research results show that young women's knowledge about anemia The risk of anemia is still low, namely around 61%. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of animated videos as educational media on increasing knowledge about anemia among female students at SMK Muhammadiyah Ambarawa. The research design uses a quasi-experimental research design with a two group pre-test post test design. The sampling technique used was a random sampling technique with a sample size of 40 respondents, which were divided into 2 groups, namely 20 respondents for leaflet educational media and 20 respondents for animated video media. Based on the results of research that has carried out data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, there is no significant influence between leaflet media on the level of knowledge, p-value 0.008. There is a significant influence between animated video media on the level of knowledge, p-value 0.001.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second-leading cause of death among women. Since protein serves as a building ingredient for cells, muscles, and tissues, eating enough of it is thought to be essential for gaining muscle mass. The cornerstone for cancer patients to maintain and/or gain muscle mass will be an adequate protein intake. In this study, breast cancer patients' muscle mass was measured and a 24-hour recall of their weekdays and weekends was conducted. The average amount of protein consumed by participants was 31.22 grams, and the average percentage of muscle mass was 24.02%. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how breast cancer patients' protein consumption and muscle mass relate to one another. This study uses quota sampling as the sample method and a cross-sectional design. There were fifty-six responders in the sample. This research uses the Spearman rank. The normality test results show that the significance value for muscle mass is p value = 0.016 (p < 0.05), it can be concluded that the data is distributed abnormally. Meanwhile, the normality test results for protein intake p-value = 0.200 (p > 0.05) can be concluded that the data is normally distributed, so it is continued with the Spearman rank correlation test. Based on the results of the Spearman rank correlation test, a correlation coefficient value of 0.488 was obtained with a significance p-value of 0.0001. So there is a positive significant correlation between protein intake and muscle mass in breast cancer sufferers at Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Regional Hospital of Lampung Province p value = 0.0001 (p<0.05).

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem of malnutrition in the elderly is easily seen through general appearance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between characteristics and nutritional status of the elderly in Pekon Parerejo, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency. This research method uses analytic quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were 65 elderly people with a sample size of 50 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis using chi square test and gamma test. The results showed that nutritional status was thin 24 (48.0%) respondents, very thin 7 (14.0%) respondents and obese 4 (8.0%) respondents. Female gender was 33 (66.6%) respondents and male 17 (34.0%) respondents. The age of respondents was 45-55 years (52.0%) and 56-59 years (48.0%), while the education level of respondents was elementary school (84.6%), junior high school (10.0%) and high school (6%). The results of statistical analysis showed there was no relationship between gender and nutritional status, p-value = 0.065 (p-value >α = 0.05), there was a relationship between age and nutritional status, p-value = 0.030 (p-value <α = 0.05), and there was no relationship between education level and nutritional status, p-value = 0.151 (p-value >α = 0.05). The conclusion drawn is that nutritional status is related to age so it is recommended that people pay attention to their nutritional status by periodically measuring height and weight. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik dengan status gizi lanjut usia (lansia) di Pekon Parerejo Kecamatan Gadingrejo Kabupaten Pringsewu. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross- Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia sebanyak 65 lansia dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dan uji gamma. Hasil penelitian diketahui status gizi kurus 24 (48,0%) responden, sangat kurus 7 (14,0%) responden dan obesitas 4 (8,0%) responden. Jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 33 (66,6%) responden dan laki-laki 17 (34,0%) responden. Umur responden 45-55 tahun (52,0%) responden dan umur 56-59 tahun (48,0%) responden, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan responden yaitu SD (84,6%) responden, SMP (10,0%) responden dan SMA (6%) responden. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan jenis kelamin dengan status gizi, nilai p value = 0,065 (p-value >α = 0,05), ada hubungan umur dengan status gizi, nilai p-value = 0,030 (p-value <α = 0,05), dan tidak ada hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan status gizi, nilai p-value = 0,151 (p-value >α = 0,05). Abstract

Background: Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is lower than normal is caused by several factors, one of which is the level of knowledge and adherence to the consumption of iron supplements (TTD). The prevalence of anemia among female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict, was 47%, and in 2024 it increased to 68.2%. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of adherence to iron tablet consumption with the incidence of anemia in female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict. Methods: This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The bivariate analysis in this study used the Gamma test. while the sample size was 80 students. Results: The results of this study show that 71.3% of female adolescents were anemic, with the majority having insufficient knowledge (45%) and a high level of non-compliance with iron supplement consumption (76.3%). The bivariate analysis showed a p-value < 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to iron supplement consumption with the incidence of anemia in female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict. Conclusion: The high incidence of anemia in young women is influenced by a lack of knowledge and non-compliance with taking blood supplement tablets.

Abstract

Fase remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang terjadi secara pesat, sehingga membutuhkan asupan zat gizi yang seimbang dan juga relatif besar, apabila konsumsi zat gizi tidak seimbang akan mengakibatkan defisiensi pada zat gizi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi, kecukupan protein, dan risiko eating disorder dengan status gizi (underweight) pada remaja putri di SMKN 1 Talang Padang. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 78 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi timbangan berat badan, microtoise, kuesioner eating disorder, dan formulir recall 24 jam serta dianalisis data menggunakan uji SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji chi-square menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi, tingkat kecukupan protein, dan risiko eating disorder dengan status gizi remaja putri yang dibuktikan dengan nilai p-value masing-masing yaitu 0.001. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa asupan gizi dan perilaku makan merupakan faktor penting yang memengaruhi status gizi remaja putri di lingkungan SMKN 1 Talang Padang.

Abstract

Mahasiswa adalah seseorang yang sedang dalam proses menimba ilmu ataupun belajar dan terdaftar sedang menjalani pendidikan pada salah satu bentuk perguruan tinggi yang terdiri dari akademik, politeknik, sekolah tinggi, institut dan Universitas. Status gizi adalah suatu kondisi ukuran tubuh seseorang yang diakibatkan oleh konsumsi, dan penggunaan zat gizi makanan. Status gizi seseorang dapat diukur dan dinilai untuk mengetahui status gizinya tergolong normal atau tidak normal.Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui status gizi dan persen lemak tubuh pada mahasiswa kesehatan S1 Gizi semester II angkatan 2022. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu pada tahun 2023. Jumlah responden sebanyak 33 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar memiliki status gizi normal (51,51%) dan persen lemak tubuh tergolong normal (60,60%).

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the fiber content and antioxidant activity in pudding made from chia seeds and soybean juice with butterfly pea flower extract. The type of research is experimental research, with the RAL (Completely Randomized Design) method, which is carried out by adding chia seeds to making pudding with 5 treatments, namely F0 (0%), F1 (2%), F2 (4%), F3 (6%) and F4 (8%). Fiber content analysis using the AOAC method and antioxidant activity analysis using the DPPH method were carried out at the Lampung State Polytechnic Laboratory. Data processing was carried out by ANOVA and Duncan tests using SPSS 20. The results of statistical tests on fiber content showed that there was no effect of adding chia seeds to making pudding with a p-value = 0.106 even though there was an increase in each formula. The highest fiber content in F4 (8%) is 5.86% or 5.8 gr/100 gr pudding, which can meet daily fiber needs, namely 2.7 -3.7 gr/day. The results of statistical tests on antioxidant activity show that there is an effect of adding chia seeds to make pudding with a p-value = 0.000. The highest IC50 antioxidant activity was in F4 (8%) at 6090 µg/mL, even though the IC50 value was in the weak category, the smaller the IC50 value, the stronger the antioxidant was in warding off free radicals. Based on research results, the more chia seed formula added, the higher the fiber content and the higher the IC50 antioxidant activity.
