Abstract

Hasil pengamatan yang dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat tanggal 14 September 2021 diketahui pada Mata Pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut, didapat banyak siswa memperoleh nilai dibawah KKM yang dilihat dari nilai ujian semeseter salah satu penyebab dari hasil belajar tersebut yaitu Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan pada Mata Pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut masih konvensional. Pembelajaran konvensional membuat tingkat semangat dan keaktifan siswa kurang karena pembelajaran ini hanya membuat siswa mendengarkan atau melihat informasi materi pelajaran dari guru seorang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat pengaruh hasil belajar Mata Pelajaran Teknik Bubut dengan menerapkan pembelajaran Project based Learning di kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu jenis quasy exsperiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta menggunakan desain kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol tanpa pretest dengan nama Posttest-only-design. Hasil analisis independent sample t test diketahui sig 0,019 atinya 0,019 < 0,05. Dari hasi analisis ini dapat diketahui pada penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh dari pembelajaran project based learning atas hasil belajar kelas X1 SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat mata pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran project based learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat dan juga terdapat peningkatan nilai siswa dari pembelajaran konvensional dengan project based learning dimana nilai pembelajaran konvensioanal sebesar 76 serta nilai project based learning sebesar 80,40.

Abstract

Inovasi pada pembelajaran oleh seorang pendidik menggunakan media pada pembelajaran. Media yang dikembangkan bertujuan agar materi pada pembelajaran tersampaikan mudah dimengerti oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi penulis selama proses pengenalan di SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat, penulis menemukan permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan prasarana pendukung proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ditujukan dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang berupa trainer untuk mata pelajaran Sistem Kelistrikan dan Mesin Industri. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah Research and Development (R&D) pada model pengembangan 4D yaitu: tahap define, tahap design, tahap development dan tahap disseminate. Lokasi research pada SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat di Jurusan Teknik Pemesinan Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Mekanik Industri TA 2022/2023. Penerapan media trainer dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Sistem Kelistrikan dan Mesin Industri. Proses validasi kelayakan media trainer dilaksanakan pakar ahli materi yaitu guru mata pelajaran didapatkan hasil berjumlah 3,42 kategori sangat layak , ahli media yaitu dosen mesin FT-UNP memperoleh hasil 3,53 kategori sangat layak dan validasi pengguna oleh peserta didik memperoleh hasil 3,17 berkategori sangat layak. Menurut hasil validasi kelayakan media pembelajaran trainer elektromagnetik sangat layak untuk dipakai dalam pembelajaran Sistem Kelistrikan dan Mesin Industri (SKMI) pada SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the understanding of milling machining theory and work facilities on the practical performance of eleventh-grade students in the Machining Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. The method used in this study is quantitative with a correlational approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires, then analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression. The results indicate a positive relationship between the understanding of milling machining theory and practical performance in milling machining, with a correlation coefficient of 0.357. Work facilities also show a positive relationship with practical performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.242. Additionally, the results of the multiple regression analysis indicate that the understanding of milling machining theory and work facilities together positively relate to practical performance in milling machining, with a correlation coefficient of 0.402. The effective contribution of both variables to practical performance is 16%, with a relative contribution of understanding theory at 11.5% and work facilities at 4.5%. These findings suggest that improving theoretical understanding and providing adequate work facilities can enhance students' practical performance in milling.

Abstract

Vocational education is designed to develop skills, abilities, understanding, teamwork attitudes and an appreciation that includes the knowledge and information needed by a worker to enter and make progress in a useful and productive job. Factors that support the creation of quality graduates are found in the subjects of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze the Implementation of the Project Based Learning Model on Learning Outcomes in Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK) Subjects in Class XI of the Machining Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Dumai. This research is a class action research (PTK) or often also called classroom action research. This Jhon Elliot model classroom action research consists of pre-cycle, first cycle and second cycle to achieve the desired results. This study uses an instrument in the form of an assessment rubric that is used to see student learning outcomes in creative product and entrepreneurship subjects with the application of project-based learning models referring to the results of projects made by students. Based on the results of research and discussion, class action research on the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship in class XI Machining Engineering SMK N 2 Dumai can be concluded as follows. 1) Efforts to improve learning outcomes using project-based learning models in class XI TP in the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship have been successfully implemented and are able to improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 2 Dumai. 2) With the project-based learning model, teachers have other choices in determining learning models so that it can be a solution in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Blended learning using Google Classroom is a combination of face-to-face and online learning that utilizes the Google Classroom platform to facilitate interactions between students and teachers outside the classroom. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of implementing blended learning using Google Classroom. The study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive research design. It involves 27 students from the Grade XI Industrial Mechanical Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and documentation The questionnaire in this study assessed five aspects: the use of Google Classroom, interaction in learning, technological accessibility, comfort and satisfaction, and the effectiveness of blended learning. The analysis results for each assessed aspect were as follows: the use of Google Classroom at 76.66%, interaction in learning at 71.29%, technological accessibility at 75.37%, comfort and satisfaction at 70.74%, and the effectiveness of blended learning at 68.51%. This indicates that students’ overall response to the effectiveness of blended learning using Google Classroom was 73.19%, categorized as effective.
