Abstract

Background: Toddler age is a golden period in the growth and development of children. One of the factors that inhibit children's growth and development is poor eating behavior. The child's eating behavior begins to be formed since the prenatal period through the transmission of amniotic fluid containing volatile compounds derived from food consumed by the mother during pregnancy. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between maternal eating behavior during pregnancy with eating behavior in toddlers (1-3 years old). Methodology: Correlational analytic research with cross sectional research design. The total sample size was 101 mother and child respondents in Grendeng and Sumampir Villages, Purwoketo Utara II District. Data were collected using the AEBQ questionnaire for data on eating behavior of mothers during pregnancy and CEBQ-T for data on eating behavior of toddlers. Test the analysis of the relationship between the two variables used the pearson correlations. Result: The results of statistical tests showed a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05) with an r value of 0.552, which means that there was a significant relationship between the maternal eating behavior during pregnancy and the eating behavior of toddlers with moderate relationship strength. Conclusion: There was significant relationship between the maternal eating behavior during pregnancy and the eating behavior of toddlers (1-3 years).

Abstract

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) has sent students in the MBKM program to various partners, including government agencies, schools, companies, and other partner institutions. The success of the MBKM program is not only measured from an academic perspective, but also from the level of partner satisfaction with the performance of the students involved. This study aims to evaluate partner satisfaction with the performance of MBKM FISIP UNNES students in 2025. This descriptive study aims to evaluate partner satisfaction with the performance of MBKM students. This study uses mixed methods, namely using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative approach used is descriptive statistical analysis to measure the level of satisfaction from partner answers through frequency distribution. The qualitative approach uses thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns, themes, or insights from partner answers related to their experiences with MBKM students. The results of the study conclude that the implementation of MBKM FISIP UNNES in 2025 achieved a fairly good level of success, especially in efforts to prepare students for the world of work.

Abstract

Introduction: Breast milk is the main source of nutrition in infants 0-6 months. The behavior of the mother in exclusively breastfeeding is influenced by the intentions possessed by the mother, especially in babies in perinatology. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the mother's intention in exclusive breastfeeding of infants treated in perinatology. Methods: The method used is cross-sectional with a non-probability sampling technique with total sampling within 1 month of as many as 54 responders. Data analysis using Chi-Square Test and multiple logistic regression. Results: The results showed a significant relationship between maternalknowledge (p = 0.000) and husband support (p = 0.001). Meanwhile, family support (p = 0.114) and nurse support (p = 0.924) were not related to the mother's intention to provideexclusive breastfeeding. The results of multiple logistic regression tests found that the dominant factor that influenced the mother's intention to exclusively breastfeed was husband support (OR=9,754). Conclusion: Husband support is the most dominant factor in influencing the mother's intention to exclusively breastfeed the baby treated in perinatology. Husband support consists of instrumental, informational, judgmental, and emotional support. In this study, the husband was able to provide emotional and instrumental support, for other support still needs to be improved. It is recommended that efforts be made to increase the role of husbands in motivating mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding, health workers are required to provide health education about the importance of husband's support in providing exclusive breastfeeding.
