Abstract

The rapid development of time has reduced the land used by farmers for farming due to development. For that, design a hydroponic system to minimize the land. Chili hydroponic plants are a type of vegetable that has many benefits and is liked by many people. So that hydroponic chili cultivators can produce optimal harvests, a tool is designed using automatic smart control technology using UV lamps. The findings in the field are that there are several steps that must be taken so that hydroponic plants can be more optimal in the results of chili cultivation. The first step is to design a smart plant control automatic tool, then use several sensors including EC sensors, ph sensors, RTC sensors, and ultraviolet lamps. An initial study of the potential benefits to be gained by partners or chili farmers based on the results of field testing is that this technology can maximize harvest time efficiency from manual hydroponic cultivation, which was originally 90 days to 70-80 days. Therefore, the automatic smart plant control system using UV lamps has a harvest speed of 70-80 days, while the manual method can reach 90 days. Thus, it is hoped that the economy of chili cultivators will increase if the smart plant control automatic system is used.

Abstract

Pelipat pakaian otomatis adalah perangkat atau mesin yang dirancang untuk melipat pakaian secara otomatis dengan sedikit atau tanpa intervensi manual. Mesin ini biasanya digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan konsistensi dalam proses pelipatan kain, yang sangat berguna dalam berbagai industri seperti tekstil, laundry komersial, dan manufaktur pakaian. Perangkat ini dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga kerja, menghasilkan lipatan yang seragam dan rapi, serta mengurangi biaya operasional dalam proses pelipatan kain. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah alat portabel otomatis pelipat dan Penyemprot pewangian t-shirt berbasis IoT untuk mengurangi waktu dan tenaga bagi masyarakat. Adapun langkah-langkah untuk membuat alat pelipat pakaian dan penjelasannya adalah sebagai berikut: penulis menggunakan motor servo sebagai alat penggerak pelipat pakaian di setiap sisinya, Arduino sebagai alat perintah sebelum menggerakkan alat-alat lain, sensor ultrasonik sebagai alat penerima sinyal yang digunakan untuk menentukan jarak benda (pakaian), dan NodeMCU ESP8266 yang berguna sebagai alternatif menjalankan fungsi mikrokontroler serta koneksi internet. Hasil pengujian dari tabel data pakaian pertama dengan berat 180 gr menunjukkan bahwa ketiga motor servo memiliki arus yang relatif rendah. Tegangan yang diperlukan dan daya yang dikonsumsi oleh masing-masing servo tercatat dalam rentang yang serupa, yaitu antara 1,29 W hingga 1,51 W. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa motor servo memiliki performa yang stabil dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam proses pelipatan pakaian ukuran S dengan waktu kerja alat 10 detik untuk satu lipatan pakaian. Pada data pakaian kedua dengan berat 200 gr, terlihat bahwa ketiga motor servo memiliki arus yang relatif serupa. Tegangan yang dibutuhkan dan daya yang dikonsumsi oleh masing-masing servo berada dalam kisaran 1,32 W hingga 1,41 W. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa motor servo memiliki performa yang stabil dan konsisten dalam proses pelipatan pakaian ukuran M dengan waktu kerja alat 10 detik untuk satu lipatan pakaian. Sedangkan dari data pakaian ketiga dengan berat 250 gr, dapat dilihat bahwa ketiga motor servo memiliki arus yang cukup serupa. Tegangan yang dibutuhkan dan daya yang dikonsumsi oleh masing-masing servo tercatat dalam rentang yang serupa, yaitu antara 1,32 W hingga 1,42 W. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa motor servo tetap memiliki performa yang stabil dan konsisten dalam proses pelipatan pakaian ukuran L dengan waktu kerja alat 10 detik untuk satu lipatan pakaian.

Abstract

Baterai timbal-asam, umum pada kendaraan, membutuhkan perawatan yang baik untuk mencegah penurunan kinerja akibat sulfatasi, yaitu penumpukan kristal timbal sulfat yang mengurangi kapasitas baterai. Pulse repair battery charger dikembangkan sebagai solusi dengan mengirimkan pulsa listrik pada frekuensi tertentu untuk memecah kristal timbal sulfat, mengembalikan kapasitas, serta memperpanjang umur pakai baterai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas pulse repair battery charger pada baterai 12 volt, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dan performa dibanding metode pengisian tradisional. Penelitian ini mencakup eksperimen langsung dengan pengukuran daya menggunakan alat ukur terkalibrasi untuk memastikan keakuratan hasil. Pengujian dilakukan dengan pengisian baterai dan evaluasi performa menggunakan beban lampu, yang memungkinkan pengamatan arus dan tegangan dalam penggunaan nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dari tegangan awal 10,7V/0Ah menjadi 13,5V/3,6Ah setelah pengisian selama 60 menit. Keberhasilan ini diindikasikan oleh nyala lampu yang sebelumnya tidak menyala, menunjukkan pemulihan kinerja baterai. Rekomendasi mencakup pemantauan kondisi baterai secara berkala dan uji coba tambahan dengan variasi kondisi untuk memperoleh data yang lebih lengkap, sehingga dapat memperkuat pemahaman manfaat dan keterbatasan pulse repair dalam perawatan baterai 12 volt.

Abstract

The existence of technology today aims to help make human work easier, including in the aspect of residential security systems. The increase in crime, especially theft in residential homes, is increasingly worrying. Therefore, the application of Arduino Nano control system technology with other supporting systems is the right solution to improve the safety of residents and minimize theft. This research aims to design a device called Home Security System by Three Methods that uses PV energy sources and the Arduino Nano control system. This tool features three security methods: SMS gateway, phone call, and alarm sound in two locations. Tests were carried out by simulating the opening and closing of doors/windows, then paying attention to the system response on the smartphone and the two alarms. The test results show that when a door/window is opened, the system sends an alert SMS to the user's smartphone within ± 9 seconds. The alarm sounds inside the house and the security post. If the user does not respond, the system will make a phone call within ± 55 seconds after the door/window is opened. The system works based on the movement or gap in the door/window using a magnetic switch sensor of ± 2.5 cm.

Abstract

Fatigue cracks can occur because the material is unable to withstand the load applied repeatedly. A nonlinear vibroacoustic method was introduced to overcome this problem. This is because this method is one of the best solutions because it is suitable for detecting fatigue cracks which is sensitive enough to detect small cracks. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of laser distance measurements on fatigue crack detection using the vibroacoustic method. Therefore, there are steps or procedures that include test object preparation, tensile testing, dynamic tensile testing, and modal analysis. Three different vibration modes are selected to excite the low frequency modes. The vibroacoustic method is a method based on the propagation of high frequency sound waves in solid structures with low frequency excitation. The trained output signal will be converted from the time domain to the frequency domain supported by the use of MATLAB software. The analysis results show that there is a significant influence on the detection of fatigue cracks in aluminum using the vibration acoustic method. Abstract

Solar energy is one of the most potential renewable energy sources, but the performance of solar panels can decrease due to dust accumulation on the panel surface. This study aims to design and build an automatic dust cleaning tool based on an Arduino microcontroller equipped with a reflector to increase energy conversion in solar panels. This system uses a dust sensor to detect the level of dirt on the panel, as well as a drive motor to automatically clean the panel surface when the dust reaches a certain level. Based on the test results, there was an increase in the output voltage of the solar panel after the cleaning process, with an average increase of 0.5 to 1.5 Volts. In addition, the use of a reflector helps increase the intensity of light received by the panel, especially in the morning and evening. With this automatic system, the efficiency of the solar panel can be maintained without periodic manual intervention. The results of the study indicate that this tool is effective in improving the performance of solar panels and has the potential to be applied to small to medium-scale installations.

Abstract

This study optimizes resource allocation in Islamic banking using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Orthogonal Arrays (OA) to minimize simulation scenarios while ensuring statistical validity. Focusing on a West Aceh-based bank (4 tellers, 2 CS agents, 5 ATMs), the research addresses operational inefficiencies prolonged queues, resource misalignment conflicting with Sharia principles of efficiency (israf avoidance) and equity, exacerbated by seasonal demand fluctuations. A Full Factorial Design initially generated 40 scenarios (200 iterations), imposing high computational burdens. OA techniques reduced scenarios to 9 (77.5% fewer iterations, 45 total), maintaining a 95% confidence level (z-score=1.96) and 1-minute margin of error. Utility differences between methods were marginal (CS:1.3%, Teller:1.5%, ATM:2.3%) and statistically insignificant, confirming OA’s reliability. Critical interactions (e.g., CS=1 paired with all Teller levels) and balanced configurations (Teller=3 + ATM=3 “sweet spot”) were identified, despite minor imbalances (e.g., ATM=4 tested once). The approach advocates data-driven policies deploying ATMs during CS shortages and optimizing human-technology ratios aligning with Sharia ethics by reducing waste and enhancing equity. With 77.5% computational savings, this methodology offers scalable solutions for Islamic finance and dynamic sectors, bridging statistical rigor with ethical governance in resource optimization.

Listrik yang digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan, secara terus menerus sehingga lnstalasi listrik harus di rawat dengan baik, Beban rumah tangga, pada umumnya berupa lampu untuk penerangan, alat rumah tangga, seperti kipas angin, pemanas air, lemari es, penyejuk udara, mixer, oven, motor pompa air dan lain sebagainya, untuk itu diperlukan perawatan instalasi berkala dengan mematuhi segala ketentuan, memenuhi kreteria dari PUIL yang menjadi dasar panduan instalasi, pada pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada relawan Masyarakat Sadar Listrik dimana evaluasi materi yang diberikan para peserta memiliki respon yang baik pada kegiatan tersebut dan pada pemahaman materi yang disampaikan dari hasil evaluasi pemahaman mencapai 95 % peserta memahami materi dan analisis masalah, dan dapat meneganalisis masalah dengan baik..

Abstract

Renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal (T) used in tropical Indonesia are still not optimal in converting electrical energy. This is caused by the movement of the sun which is not centered on the surface of the photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T). Based on this, PV/T technology was developed with a parabolic tracker system combined with T control with the aim of optimizing electrical energy conversion. The testing technique was carried out using an experimental method by comparing the installation of PV/T technology with a parabolic tracker system and a flat PV position. In the PV/T parabolic tracker, the supporting components use aluminum foil technology and heat transfer fluid (HTF) to reduce excess heat on the panel surface. The parabolic tracker system is implemented through a centralized system following the sun and aluminum foil and HTF technology function to keep the surface temperature stable. The results of PV performance testing at peak loads carried out at 10:00 am-3:00 pm, the installation of flat PV produced an average DC power of 71.68 Wp and the parabolic tracker system produced an increase in average DC power of 84.57 Wp, while with an increase in power of 17.98% during fluctuating weather conditions.

Abstract

The goods sorting system is one of the important processes in the logistics system, especially when applied to work in the palm oil processing industry. The problem that occurs in the ripeness of palm fruit is that palm oil farmers find it difficult to distinguish the level of ripeness of palm fruit which will later affect the selling price of palm oil. Therefore, an automatic sorting conveyor control system is designed using an Arduino microcontroller to detect the level of ripeness of palm fruit by applying the neural network algorithm method in identifying the type of palm fruit based on the level of ripeness of the palm fruit. Then the integration of several sensors connected to the Arduino will later make it easier for the servo motor to determine the ripeness of the palm fruit. The results obtained using the neural network algorithm in processing the level of accuracy in identifying raw or ripe palm fruit can operate with the program settings that have been designed. In the Matlab simulation with the neural network method, an image pattern is obtained where if the result is close to 1 then the palm fruit is ripe, otherwise if there is nothing close to the value 1 then the palm fruit is still raw. The recorded data can later be a reference for palm oil farmers in making sales more accurately.
