Abstract

Gunung Endut Village in Kalapanunggal, Sukabumi, is known as a place that often produces cassava. Cassava which is rich in carbohydrates and nutrients has become an important basic ingredient for UMKM in this village, especially for the production of cassava chips. Taking action steps carried out by the Community Service (PkM) program team from the Faculty of Economics and Business after seeing the available potential, Team PkM Djuanda University Bogor created a new product called "Stik Si Endut" in the form of innovative frozen cheese cassava sticks. The purpose of this activity is to provide an explanation to UMKM actors regarding the production process of frozen cheese cassava sticks, improving branding, packaging, and distribution strategies through the consignment marketing system. Through preparation and survey stage, counseling, and evaluation methods, this activity is expected to improve skills, product innovation, and the local economy in Gunung Endut Village. This research shows that there is a great opportunity for the diversification of cassava products in the village, with a focus on increasing added value and economic development of the local community.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the performance of language teachers in teaching at SMK Negeri 30 Jakarta, by looking at student learning outcomes for language subjects (Indonesian, English, French) for students of class XI semester one of the school year 2017/2018 that have not reached the standard KKM determined by the school. This research is School Action Research (PTS) through the implementation of Scheduled Guidance. This research was carried out at 30 State Vocational Schools Jakarta and its implementation in two cycles, each cycle in the study included four steps namely (1) planning (2) implementation (acting), (3) observation (observing), (4) reflection (reflecting). Data were collected using observation sheets and analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on research data and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of Guidance is scheduled for language teachers. proven to be able to improve the performance of language teachers in implementing learning for class XI students. The first semester of SMK Negeri 30 Jakarta in the 2017/2018 academic year, so that student learning outcomes improve well.

Abstract

The results of the preliminary study show that SDN Sukawangi 2, as a basic education institution, is faced with challenges in building an effective organizational culture. Various factors such as management, communication between staff, involvement of teachers and staff in the decision-making process, and interaction with students still lack the implementation of leadership that is able to empower all school members to achieve common goals. This research aims to explore how participative leadership can build an effective school culture at SDN Sukawangi 2. This research uses qualitative methods using ethnographic techniques, case studies, document studies, observation or observations. Based on the results of research conducted through observations, interviews and documentation studies, it can be concluded that the participative leadership implemented by the school principal has succeeded in creating a school environment that is collaborative, inclusive and supports an effective learning process. Active participation from the entire school community, open communication, solid collaboration, involvement in every aspect of school management, and participatory decision making.

Abstract

Motivasi kerja sangat penting bagi karyawan agar dapat bekerja secara optimal. Setiap karyawan perlu memiliki motivasi kerja baik untuk memenuhi keinginannya serta mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah guna melihat motivasi kerja pada PT. ABC, menggunakan metode kulitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, serta dokumentasi. Alasan peneliti mempergunakan metode ini guna mengarahkan penelitian agar lebih fokus serta relevan. Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. ABC. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya gaji yang layak dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja. Selain itu, kondisi kerja harus didukung dengan peralatan lengkap untuk membantu karyawan menyelesaikan tugasnya. Bila karyawan mempunyai motivasi kerja yang baik dengan demikian, karyawan akan bertanggung jawab atas tugasnya. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk melakukan peninjauan ulang gaji, menciptakan kondisi kerja agar aman dan nyaman guna meningkatkan motivasi kerja sehingga karyawan dapat bertanggung jawab atas pekerjaanya dan tujuan perusahaan tercapai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and workload on employee performance at PT Reinco Strategi Asia. The sample size was 50 employees. The analysis method used in the study is descriptive and verification methods. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, interviews and literature studies. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis, determination coefficient analysis, F test and t test. The results of this study indicate that the variables of leadership style and workload simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

The sample in this study was 81 people using saturated sampling techniques. The analysis method used is descriptive and verification methods. Abstract

This study examines the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and motivation on business performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable in snack food MSMEs in Cisarua District. The sample used was 58 snack food MSMEs in Cisarua District. This research is descriptive and verification with the path analysis method. This study resulted in the findings that entrepreneurial orientation and motivation have an influence on business performance and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment served as an intervening variable. Based on the result of this study, business actors must be able to improve entrepreneurial orientation and motivation in order to improve business performance and organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct influence of organizational culture, work environment, and leadership on employee performance at PT Talenta Heba Parnita Depok. The sample in this study 57 people were using the method of determining saturated sampling techniques. The instrument test technique in this study uses the IBM Statistical Package For Social Sciences (SPSS) software application with the regression analysis method. The results showed that organizational culture, work environment, and leadership simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and ability on business performance by considering the role of organizational commitment as an intervening variable in snack food MSMEs located in Central Bogor District. The samples used in this study were all snack food MSMEs that were actively registered and assisted by the Bogor City Cooperative and SME Office, with a total of 108 MSME units. The approach used in this research is descriptive and verification, with data analysis using the path analysis method. The results showed that motivation and ability have a direct and positive influence on organizational commitment and on business performance. In addition, organizational commitment acts as an intermediary variable in the relationship between motivation and ability to business performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that business actors can further improve motivation, ability, and organizational commitment to encourage more effective business performance improvement.

Abstract

Cooperatives are directed as a collective community effort to increase the level of economic prosperity together. The research objective was to analyze the effect of external capital, business volume and total assets on the residual results of operations. The research method used is quantitative with verification. The sample was conducted by purposive sampling based on the criteria of being active in conducting annual member meetings for 10 years. The results show that simultaneously external capital, business volume and total assets have a positive and significant effect on the remaining operating results. Meanwhile, partially, outside capital and total assets have a positive and significant effect on the remaining operating results, business volume has a negative and significant effect on the remaining operating results. Business volume has a negative effect because sales transactions will tend to decrease so that it can also reduce profits or decrease the remaining operating results. Because the smaller the volume of business run by the cooperative, the lower the income from the business.
