Abstract

This research covers the application of PowToon learning media to improve student learning outcomes in Cell material. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the use of PowToon learning media on the learning outcomes of students in the material of Cell XI MA MA Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School. This study included a pseudo-experiment using a non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI MA Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School consisting of 2 classes. The sampling technique in this study is by using the purposive sampling method. The research instrument is in the form of a learning outcome test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that students who were taught using PowToon learning media had an average learning outcome of 87.36, while students who were taught using Conventional learning media (Biology Package books) had an average learning outcome of 71.3. The results of inferential statistical analysis obtained a sign value for learning outcomes of 0.000, this value shows that sign < α = 0.000 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the application of PowToon learning media has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in the Class XI Cell material of Madrasah Aliyah Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Kanker tetap menjadi tantangan global karena heterogenitas tumor membuat respons terapi sulit diprediksi, sementara model pra-klinik konvensional kerap tidak mencerminkan fisiologi manusia. Studi ini mengevaluasi kemampuan organoids-on-chip memprediksi respons terapi kanker melalui tinjauan sistematis berpedoman PRISMA 2020. Berdasrkan hasil tinjauan yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa organoids-on-chip menyediakan perfusi mikro, gradien kimia, dan ko-kultur mikro-lingkungan tumor, sehingga uji berbasis patient-derived organoids dapat memetakan sensitivitas atau resistensi serta memantau toksisitas secara real-time. Mayoritas studi melaporkan peningkatan ketepatan prediksi untuk kemoterapi dan terapi target. Organoids-on-chip juga memfasilitasi penapisan regimen kombinasi dan identifikasi biomarker respons. Namun, variasi protokol, perbedaan matriks, dan parameter aliran membatasi generalisasi. Disimpulkan, organoids-on-chip menjanjikan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam onkologi personal, dengan prasyarat standardisasi lintas laboratorium, validasi prospektif, pertimbangan biaya berkelanjutan, serta penetapan titik akhir klinis terstandardisasi dan ukuran efek yang konsisten.

Abstract

Rendahnya kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat Muslim terhadap Hukum Kewarisan Islam (Ilmu Faraidl) menyebabkan ketidakkonsistenan dalam pengamalan ajaran agama, khususnya terkait pembagian harta warisan dalam keluarga. Banyak jamaah yang hanya mengandalkan informasi parsial dan tidak sistematis, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan perselisihan di kemudian hari. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai konsep dasar Hukum Waris Islam, golongan ahli waris, bagian masing-masing ahli waris, serta tata cara dan mekanisme pembagian harta warisan kepada anggota jamaah PIP-Q Sektor Makassar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh tim dari Universitas Negeri Makassar melalui beberapa sesi ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan latihan kasus kewarisan yang terstruktur, baik secara luring maupun daring. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang sangat tinggi, jumlah peserta yang melampaui target, serta peningkatan pemahaman yang tercermin dari hasil evaluasi dan kebutuhan peserta untuk membentuk kelompok kajian lanjutan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan pengamalan Hukum Kewarisan Islam secara lebih kaffah, sekaligus memperkuat keharmonisan keluarga melalui pembagian harta waris yang lebih adil dan sesuai syariat.

Abstract

This research is classified as Research and Development (R&D) and is based on the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The study aims to develop learning media and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Takalar, specifically with Class XI Science 1, which consisted of 30 students. The results of the research indicate that the media achieved a validity score of 3.80, categorized as very valid. The practicality assessment showed that teacher responses rated the media at 95.31% and student responses at 85.18%, both categorized as very practical. In terms of learning outcomes, 27 out of 30 students (90%) achieved scores meeting the KKM target, while 3 students (10%) did not. The pretest average score was 28.13, whereas the posttest average score increased to 81.33. The calculated N-gain score was 0.72, which falls into the high category (0.7 ≤ g ≤ 1), indicating a significant improvement in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of the educational era that is growing very quickly certainly requires the provision of relevant learning resources, especially the availability of additional teaching media that can have a positive influence on the motivation and learning outcomes of students. The goal of this research is to create a Manga “Immunity at Work” learning media that fits the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Using the ADDIE approach, this study conducts R&D (Research and Development) research. The development product was evaluated using validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The research subjects were validators (validation experts), biology educators (practitioners), and students from grade XI MIA II at MA Madani Alauddin Pao-pao. The research instruments were in the form of media validation sheets, educators and students’ response questionnaires, and learning outcomes test items. The results showed that the developed media had a validity level of 3.56 (very valid), the level of practicality based on the response assessment of educators was 97.5% (very practical) and students 85.31 (very practical). The learning outcomes test has a percentage of classical effectiveness level of 85% reaching the minimum value for the effective category. Based on the findings of this research, the development of the Manga learning media “Immunity at Work” is recommended to be optimized in dissemination, similar development, and application.Abstrak. Perkembangan era pendidikan yang berkembang dengan sangat cepat tentunya memerlukan penyediaan sumber belajar yang relevan, terutama ketersediaan media ajar yang tambahan yang mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Komik Manga “Immunity at Work” yang memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE. Produk pengembangan diuji melalui uji validitas, uji kepraktisan dan uji keefektifan. Subjek penelitian adalah validator (ahli validasi), pendidik mata pelajaran Biologi (praktisi), dan peserta didik kelas XI MIA II di MA Madani Alauddin Pao-pao. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi media, angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik, serta butir-butir tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yaitu 3.56 (sangat valid), tingkat kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian respon pendidik yaitu 97.5% (sangat praktis) dan peserta didik 85.31 (sangat praktis). Tes hasil belajar memiliki persentase tingkat keefektifan secara klasikal 85% mencapai nilai minimum untuk kategori efektif. Berdasarkan temuan dari penelitian ini, pengembangan media pembelajaran Komik Manga “Immunity at Work” direkomendasikan untuk dioptimalkan dalam penyebarluasan, pengembangan serupa, maupun penerapannya.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang masih berfokus pada pendidik sering membuat peserta didik merasa kurang tertarik dengan materi yang disampaikan. Akibatnya, suasana belajar menjadi monoton dan peserta didik pun cenderung pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran sinektik yang dipadukan dengan aplikasi wordwall bisa membantu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik, khususnya pada materi sistem ekskresi di SMA Negeri 1 Tommo, Kabupaten Mamuju.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi sebanyak 76 peserta didik kelas XI. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan juga observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta didik memiliki minat belajar yang tinggi setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model ini, sementara hanya 5% yang tergolong rendah. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan hasil signifikan dengan nilai 0,017 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini membuktikan bahwa model sinektik berbantuan wordwall efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Dengan model sinektik, proses belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan menarik, sehingga mendorong peserta didik untuk lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran.

Abstract

This Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to increase the understanding of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Makassar State University about the role of the Ombudsman in public services. With a focus on training and interactive activities, the PKM aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the role of the Ombudsman as well as optimal ways of monitoring and supervision related to public services. Before the PKM, only 40% of students understood the role of the Ombudsman. After participating in PKM activities, students' understanding increased significantly to 75%. This result reflects the positive impact of PKM on increasing students' awareness of the role of the Ombudsman. Students also appreciated this activity, considering it very useful for increasing the role and supervision of the Ombudsman in public services. Thus, this PKM not only contributed to students' understanding but also taught them to participate in ensuring the quality of public services through the role of the Ombudsman.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process is faced with the challenge of low student learning outcomes. Contributing factors include misconceptions, difficulties in understanding science material, and a lack of learning models that actively involve students. Other factors such as time constraints, a lack of problem-solving stimulation, and other internal factors also affect students' critical thinking abilities and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study, to know: (1) critical thinking of students taught using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on excretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar, (2) learning outcomes of student taught using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on excretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar, (3) critical thinking taught without using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on exretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar, (4) learning outcomes of students thaught without using the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model on excretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar,(5) the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on critical thinking of students on excretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar, (6) the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on student learning outcomes on excretory system material class VIII SMPN 23 Makassar.This study used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design research design. The population in the study was two hundred and ninety-one students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Makassar. There were a total of 86 people surveyed: 44 participated in the control group and 42 in the experimental class group. Sample determination was done by purposive sampling. The tools used as data collection are in the form of observation sheets, critical thinking ability tests and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis which includes homogeneity test, hypothesis testing and normality. The results showed that in critical thinking and student learning outcomes with a Sign value < a < 0.001. So that in this study there is a significant difference between critical thinking and learning outcomes of students taught without using the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model and using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on excretory system material class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Makassar.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low understanding of the concept of students on the subject of cells, especially transport across membranes, due to the abstract nature of the subject and the lack of materials that encourage independent concept discovery. The purpose of this study is to develop a Student Work Sheet based on the Concept Attainment Model and to test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in biology classes for 11th grade students at SMAN 10 Gowa. The research and development method used is ADDIE, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study involved 31 students in the 11th grade. The instruments included a validation sheet, a survey of teachers and students, and a learning outcome test. The results of the study showed that the LKPD based on CAM was highly valid, practical, and effective. Penggunaan LKPD membantu siswa mengidentifikasi ciri-ciri konsep melalui contoh dan noncontoh, meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif, dan memperkuat pemahaman konseptual. Therefore, the LKPD based on the Concept Attainment Model is suitable for use as an alternative teaching material for biology lessons on cells in secondary schools.
