Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang peran kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 28 kepala sekolah pada Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah se-DKI Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa kepala sekolah dapat mengelola sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja mengajar guru dengan model dan strategi yang dibangun dalam rangkan mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. dimensi atau indikator kepemimpinan instruksional yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja mengajar guru adalah mengembangkan misi dan tujuan peningkatan kurikulum sekolah, pengembangan komunitas belajar profesional, mengembangkan lingkungan kerja dan mempromosikan iklim pembelajaran akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan metode campuran dengan pendekatan embedded design dengan pendekatan Experimenttal Quasi Experimental Research tipe Noneequivalent [Pre-test and Post-test] Control Group Design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar bahasa Arab berbasis komputer dan konvensional serta menganalisis keefektifan kedua model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Arab di kelas IX MTs Al-Zaytun dengan populasi 687 siswa dengan sampel 68 siswa. Hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon dan uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar berbasis komputer dan hasil belajar konvensional. Uji keefektifan dengan N-Gain Score Test kedua model pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis komputer lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil wawancara dengan guru bahasa Arab menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis komputer sangat membantu guru dalam mempersiapkan dan menyampaikan materi ajar, hal ini membuat guru lebih termotivasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ICT-nya.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is one of the efforts to answer the problems faced in Indonesian education. After the 2019 Covid Pandemic, there were many obstacles that made the process of receiving educational knowledge in schools not optimally accepted by students. This also affects the daily character of students, both at school and outside of school. The character of post-pandemic students seems not ready to accept learning as usual, therefore an adaptation is needed in the form of an approach for students so that they are ready to study at school again. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research method that will be used is descriptive qualitative. The Pancasila Student Profile is part of the Merdeka Curriculum, various ways and approaches are applied by schools so that students become students with the character of the Pancasila Profile. One effort to achieve this is through extracurricullar programs. The extracurricullar program at junior high school 51 Bandung runs effectively for students. In addition, the character formation of the Pancasila Student Profile at junior high school 51 Bandung has also been going well where students' character is formed through the programs provided by the school. Based on the results of effectiveness analysis extracurricular program for building Pancasila Student Profile In junior high school 51 Bandung, it was found that Kijarpara as an extracurricular was successful in shaping the character of students, due to changes in students' character before and after attending Kijarpara. This achievement was also supported by various other related aspects, when analyzed and examined, turned out to be quite complex.

Abstract

Tenaga administrasi sekolah/Madrasah (TAS/M) memerankan peran penting dalam sistem sekolah, peran penting ini sama hal nya dengan peran guru dalam proses mendidik. Selain betugas dalam pengelolaan yang berkenaan dengan hal administratif di sekolah, tenaga administrasi sekolah juga berperan aktif dalam memberikan pelayanan administrasi kepada seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan. Peran vital tenaga administrasi yang begitu penting dalam pengelolaan suatu sekolah sehingga pemerintah melalui Permendiknas Nomor 24 Tahun 2008 menetapkan standar tenaga administrasi sekolah. Standar ini mengatur tentang kualifikasi dan kompetensi minimal yang harus dipenuhi oleh seorang tenaga administrasi sekolah. Kompetensi yang dimaksud adalah kompetensi kepribadian, sosial, teknis dan manajerial. TAS/M harus terus mengembangkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme nya sebagai bagian tanggung jawab dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Proses pengembangan dan penguatan kompetensi ini harus terus dilakukan seperti halnya pengembangan kompetensi untuk guru yang dilakukan secara terus menerus. Self-Directed Learning (SDL) adalah satu pembelajaran yang mana pembelajar dapat terlibat dalam menentukan apa yang mereka pelajari. Hal tersebut jelas berbeda dengan konteks belajar sendiri dan mereka dapat lebih aktif dan leluasa dalam menentukan apa yang mau mereka capai. Melalui metode diharapkan berdampak positif pada proses pengembangan dan penguatan kompetensi tenaga admistrasi sekolah

Abstract

The research aims to provide information about the Implementation of Continues Quality Improvement through Strengthening Planning, Control, Leadership, and Commitment in Improving Quality Performance and Its Impact on Quality Culture. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was used in this study Path Analysis with data processing using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Descriptive method is used to describe the results of the model implementation. The population in this study were all private junior high school principals and teachers in Bandung Regency. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, and measurements with a Likert scale range 1-5 for the six variables to be studied namely, strengthening planning, control, leadership, commitment, quality performance and quality culture. Based on the research results it is known that Quality Planning, Quality Control, Quality Leadership, and Quality Commitment through the mediation of Quality Performance each indirectly does not significantly influence Quality Culture. This is indicated by a significant p-value, namely p-value > 0.05. The path coefficient values (original sample) obtained are 0.042, 0.130, 0.136 and 0.036 respectively.

Abstract

One of the accelerations to realize the process of building the nation and character is through the 9-Year Education Policy. This study aims to examine the differences in the influence of the characteristics of committee members on schools on the role of school committees in managing the development of school facilities and infrastructure in public junior high schools in Bandung regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with data processing techniques through the Multiple Classification Analysis (MCA) model. The results of this study revealed that the role of the School Committee in the Management of the Development of School Facilities and Elementary School Facilities was classified in the 'Good Enough' category. There is a significant difference in the influence of age, employment status, salary, and educational background on the role of the school committee in managing the development of school facilities and basic school facilities. Meanwhile, gender does not have a significant difference in influence, so the implication is that it is necessary to develop a model of empowerment in the community by paying attention to aspects of the recruitment of school committee members, the cooperation of school committee principals, and schools; and the demands and needs of the school.

Abstract

Abstract: Stress and burnout among elementary school teachers in Indonesia are critical issues impacting not only the well-being of educators but also the quality of education delivered to students. This study identifies multiple factors contributing to teacher stress, including high workloads, administrative demands, frequent curriculum changes, and socio-economic challenges. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated these issues by introducing new challenges, such as the sudden transition to remote learning. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 175 elementary school teachers in Garut Regency through a semantic differential scale to measure stress levels. The findings revealed that the curriculum is the primary source of stress for teachers, followed by gender, age, school accreditation, employment status, and the presence of "Sekolah Penggerak" (Movement Schools). Female teachers and those in the 25-35 age range experienced the highest stress levels, particularly in schools with lower accreditation. Additionally, honorary teachers faced significant stress due to job insecurity and insufficient income, highlighting socio-economic disparities within the teaching profession. The study underscores the urgency of addressing systemic issues, including providing robust professional development programs, enhancing teacher support systems, and ensuring equitable policies for all educators. Effective strategies to manage teacher stress must adopt a holistic approach, integrating institutional and individual interventions. By improving teacher well-being, schools can foster a more supportive environment that enhances both educator satisfaction and student learning outcomes. The study's insights contribute to the broader discourse on improving teacher retention and elevating the standards of education in Indonesia. Keywords: Teacher stress, burnout, elementary education, COVID-19 pandemic, curriculum, teacher well-being, Indonesia Abstrak: Stres dan burnout di kalangan guru sekolah dasar di Indonesia merupakan masalah krusial yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik sekaligus kualitas pendidikan yang diberikan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor penyebab stres guru, seperti beban kerja yang tinggi, tuntutan administratif, perubahan kurikulum yang sering terjadi, serta tantangan sosial-ekonomi. Pandemi COVID-19 memperburuk situasi dengan menambahkan tantangan baru, seperti peralihan mendadak ke pembelajaran jarak jauh. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari 175 guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Garut menggunakan skala diferensial semantik untuk mengukur tingkat stres. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum menjadi sumber stres utama bagi guru, diikuti oleh faktor jenis kelamin, usia, akreditasi sekolah, status kepegawaian, dan status sekolah sebagai "Sekolah Penggerak." Guru perempuan dan mereka yang berada dalam rentang usia 25–35 tahun mengalami tingkat stres tertinggi, terutama di sekolah dengan akreditasi rendah. Selain itu, guru honorer menghadapi stres yang signifikan akibat ketidakpastian pekerjaan dan pendapatan yang tidak mencukupi, menyoroti kesenjangan sosial-ekonomi dalam profesi ini. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya mengatasi isu-isu sistemik, termasuk menyediakan program pengembangan profesional yang memadai, memperkuat sistem dukungan bagi guru, serta memastikan kebijakan yang adil bagi seluruh tenaga pendidik. Strategi efektif untuk mengelola stres guru harus mengadopsi pendekatan holistik yang mencakup intervensi institusional dan individual. Dengan meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru, sekolah dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih mendukung, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kepuasan pendidik dan hasil belajar siswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada wacana yang lebih luas tentang upaya mempertahankan guru dan meningkatkan standar pendidikan di Indonesia. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out how management in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in school academic services is in accordance with the current era. The research method used is the literature study method. Data collection techniques by collecting and analyzing documents related to guidelines, management documents in several SMKs in Sukabumi. The school management aspect has reached digital status, although not all indicators of each aspect of school management are digital-based. Three vocational high school managements can be categorized in the digital transformation process. Like the implementation of MIS (Management Information System - MIS) owned by each school, it is already an initial step for digital transformation in the field of school management. School management and academic services that are based on digital technology are profoundly interconnected and effectively increase school academic services. By automating administrative functions, offering real-time access to academic information, and facilitating personalized learning experiences, digital management systems significantly enhance the provision of academic services. These systems not only boost communication, transparency, and efficiency but also enable data-driven decision-making, tailored support, and ongoing enhancement of both teaching and learning processes.
