Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Kalirejo masih menggunakan metode manual untuk proses seleksi penerimaan siswa baru. Calon siswa harus datang ke sekolah untuk mengisi formulir pendaftaran dan menyerahkan berkas persyaratan secara langsung. Panitia juga masih memisahkan dokumen siswa berdasarkan jalur yang dipilih dan menyampaikan pengumuman di papan informasi. Proses ini memakan waktu lama dan kurang efektif baik bagi pendaftar maupun panitia. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan penerapan teknologi informasi.Oleh karena itu, dikembangkanlah Sistem Informasi Seleksi Penerimaan Siswa Baru Berbasis Web dengan menggunakan metode Prototype dan pendekatan berorientasi objek yang dimodelkan dengan UML (Unified Modelling Language). Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan calon siswa dalam melakukan pendaftaran secara online serta membantu panitia dalam mengelola data pendaftar.Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi yang mempermudah proses pendaftaran dan seleksi penerimaan siswa. Berdasarkan implementasi yang dilakukan menggunakan Webqual 4.0 dan pengujian black box dengan fokus pada functionality dan usability, didapatkan hasil 85,7% untuk uji user admin, 91,6% untuk uji user calon siswa, dan 97,2% untuk uji usability calon siswa, serta 96,8% untuk uji usability admin. Pengujian Webqual 4.0 menunjukkan hasil 94% untuk uji usability quality, 97% untuk uji information quality, dan 88% untuk uji interaction quality. Hasil ini menunjukkan kesesuaian fungsi pada sistem, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini perlu dan layak untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

E-voting atau elektronik voting adalah suatu cara pemungutan suara  yang memanfaatkan alat elektronik untuk memudahkan proses pemungutan suara tersebut. E-voting memilik kelebihan seperti proses pemilihan yang cepat, proses perhitungan suara cepat, perhitungan suara secara realtime dimana setiap suara yang masuk akan terlihat pada aplikasi, informasi lebih mudah diakses, mengurangi biaya oprasional dalam melaksanakan pemilihan atau pemungutan suara dan meminimalisir kekurangan yang ada pada cara pemungutan konfensional (dengan surat suara). Sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi dan pengguna smartphone yang pesat, pemungutan dengan cara e-voting tentu sangat membantu dan mempercepat proses suatu pemilihan. Pemilihan ini nantinya dibantu dengan SPK Profile matching. Abstract

The election of organizational leaders, especially in organizations whose members have diverse backgrounds and interests, can cause various problems. Problems in the selection of school organization leaders include the absence of an objective selection of organizational leadership candidates because they are selected based on comparisons between candidates without considering the criteria in the selection of organizational leadership candidates. Research related to the multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) and simplified pivot pairwise relative criteria importance assessment (PIPRECIA-S) methods has never been conducted so far, so it is a reference in conducting this research using the MABAC and PIPRECIA-S methods. This study aims to select the head of the school organization using the MABAC method and PIPRECIA-S weighting can increase the objectivity of the criteria assessment results by relying on calculations from the PIPRECIA-S weighting method. Based on the selection results using the MABAC method and PIPRECIA-S weighting, candidate 1 was recommended as the leader of the school organization because it achieved rank 1 with a total score of 0.293. The contribution of this research is to help in the selection of the head of the organization using the PIPRECIA-S and MABAC methods as a decision-making solution.

Abstract

Optimizing the selection of sales agents is a strategic approach that aims to improve efficiency and performance in the company's supply chain. The problem that occurs in this study is that the assessment of sales agents based on networks and personal connections can often lead to non-objectivity and reduce transparency in the selection process, and there is no model that can make judgments in selecting the best sales agents. The purpose of this study is to optimize the selection of sales agents by applying the Entropy method for weighting criteria and the MAUT method to produce the selection of the best sales agent based on predetermined criteria, so that it will be a recommendation in determining the best sales agent. Abstract

Three Star Hotels are lodging places that offer the perfect balance between comfort, adequate facilities, and affordable prices. With a friendly atmosphere and professional service, the hotel welcomes guests from various backgrounds warmly. One of the problems in choosing a Three Star Hotel is confusion due to variations in quality and facilities among hotels that have similar ratings. Although they share the same categories, the standards and services offered can vary greatly. This can make potential guests find it difficult to choose the right hotel that suits their preferences and needs. In addition, some hotels may not meet guest expectations due to issues such as poor cleanliness or facilities that do not function properly, which can generate dissatisfaction. The combination of Entropy weighting and the Combine Compromise Solution method can be a powerful approach in providing three-star hotel recommendations to potential guests. By combining these two methods, it can produce more informed and objective three-star hotel recommendations. Entropy weighting helps in assessing the relative importance of each criterion, while the Combine Compromise Solution allows us to reach a compromise solution that blends different preferences and criteria. The result is recommendations that are more accurate and tailored to potential guests' needs and preferences. The recommendation results showed that AN Hotel with a value of 1,782 got 1st place, AL Hotel with 1.271 got 2nd place, and YN Hotel with 1,145 got 3rd rank.

Abstract

The admission of English teachers in private schools is an important process in ensuring the quality of education in the institution. This process involves several stages, from the announcement of job vacancies to the selection of candidates who match the established criteria. Problems in the recruitment of English teachers, namely a selection process that lacks transparency or inadequate evaluation tools, can also be an obstacle. Therefore, addressing the problem of English teacher recruitment requires a holistic approach that pays attention to various aspects, including the development of effective recruitment strategies, the provision of training to improve candidate qualifications, and the improvement of the overall selection process. The research objective of applying the LOPCOW (Logarithmic Percentage Change-Driven Objective) Weighting and MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) method is to provide a comprehensive and effective framework in the selection process, where LOPCOW is used to analyze objective data related to teacher performance and qualifications, while MAUT is used to integrate the subjective preferences of stakeholders such as principals and school committees in decision making. Thus, the main objective is to optimize the admission process of English teachers by considering these two aspects holistically. The ranking results show that the final results of English teacher admissions recommend the first rank with a final score of 0.7421 obtained by HR Teacher Candidates. This result is the application of the LOPCOW and MAUT methods in the selection process for English teacher admission, and becomes a recommendation for the English teacher admission process.

Abstract

Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) is a multi-criteria decision-making method used to evaluate and select the best alternative based on multiple objectives or criteria. One of the main disadvantages of the MOORA method is subjectivity in the determination of the weight of criteria. In this method, the decision maker must determine the relative weight of each criterion used to evaluate alternatives. Subjectivity in the weighting of criteria can also lead to inconsistencies between different decision makers or experts, resulting decisions can be less transparent and less acceptable to all parties involved, reducing confidence in the validity and accuracy of the results. Optimization of alternative assessment with modified MOORA method is to develop alternative assessment methods that are more accurate and objective by integrating standard deviation into the MOORA method. This study aims to overcome the weaknesses of conventional MOORA methods in dealing with data variation and assessment subjectivity by introducing a more data-driven mechanism of calculating the weight of criteria. Through testing and comparing performance between modified MOORA methods and conventional methods, this study aims to demonstrate improved accuracy, consistency, and reliability in alternative assessment results. In addition, this research is expected to provide practical implementation guidance for the application of the modified MOORA method in the Decision Support System (DSS), so as to improve the efficiency and quality of decision making in various sectors. The ranking results showed that the results of rank 1 were obtained by Employee 6 with a final score of 0.3375, rank 2 was obtained by Employee 3 with a final score of 0.2904, and rank 3 was obtained by Employee 7 with a final score of 0.2756. The results of the comparison test of the original rank with SD-MOORA showed a correlation value of 1, so it can be concluded that there is a very strong and positive relationship between the original rating and the SD-MOORA rating. This shows that the rating produced by SD-MOORA is very consistent with the original ranking, thus giving validity to the effectiveness of SD-MOORA in replicating the original rating results more objectively and efficiently. The results of the SD-MOORA modification showed significant improvements in the accuracy and objectivity of decision making.

Abstract

The best warehouse employees are individuals who show exceptional dedication and precision in carrying out their duties. Not only do they ensure that every process, from receipt to delivery, is carried out with high accuracy, but they are also proactive in finding ways to improve operational efficiency. The main problem lies in the proper assessment of employees' technical skills and soft skills, such as rigor, time management ability, and teamwork. Additionally, the selection process can be complicated when it comes to balancing previous work experience and adaptability to new technologies. Without effective assessment methods, the risk of selecting the wrong employee can negatively impact the overall productivity and operational efficiency of the warehouse. The purpose of the study, which combines entropy weighting method with the WP method is an approach that can increase objectivity and accuracy in multi-criteria decision-making. In this combination, the Entropy method is used first to objectively determine the weight of the criteria based on the degree of variation or information contained in the data of each criterion. The weights generated by the Entropy method reflect the importance of criteria based on how much information is provided, assuming that criteria with more variety have more information. Once the weights are determined, the Weighted Product method is used to evaluate and rank alternatives. Based on the results of the recommendation for the selection of the best warehouse employee Hadi occupies the top position in the selection of the best warehouse employee with a score of 0.07194. His position was followed by Putri who got a score of 0.07082, showing a performance that was also very good and only slightly below Hadi. Budi is ranked third with a score of 0.06621, while Deni is ranked fourth and Kiki is fifth with a score of 0.06544 and 0.06524, respectively. The score obtained by each employee shows a relatively small difference, reflecting the fierce competition and high quality of performance among the employees

Abstract

Supplier selection is a crucial process in supply chain management, where companies must determine the best suppliers who are able to meet their needs based on various criteria. Companies often face challenges in managing the various factors that influence supplier selection decisions, suppliers that offer low prices may not always provide the best quality or consistent delivery times. Optimizing supplier selection through the DSS approach, companies can build stronger relationships with high-performing suppliers, while improving overall business resilience and competitiveness. The combination of the TOPSIS method and entropy weighting in supplier selection optimization provides a robust approach to evaluating and selecting the best suppliers based on predetermined criteria. This combination not only improves objectivity and accuracy in the evaluation process, but also allows decision-makers to consider trade-offs between various criteria more effectively. The purpose of the research of the combination of the TOPSIS method and entropy weighting in optimizing supplier selection is to produce objective and data-based criteria weighting through the application of the entropy weighting method, thereby reducing subjectivity in the supplier selection process. The results of the preference value calculated using the TOPSIS method resulted in the first rank with the highest preference value of 0.78393, followed by GH Supplier with a value of 0.75611, and FR Supplier in third place with a value of 0.6913. The next supplier is Supplier AG with a value of 0.59912, followed by Supplier BR with 0.51682, and Supplier TR in sixth position with 0.465. Supplier IH has a preference value of 0.43166, followed by Supplier YS with a value of 0.3984, and finally Supplier RT is in the lowest position with a value of 0.35517. This ranking shows that US Supplier is the best supplier, while Supplier RT is the lowest choice based on the criteria used.

Abstract

The production department of PT Sugar Labinta requires overtime to complete its work. This overtime work process requires procedures and calculations. One of the problems that is often faced is too many employees who work overtime (overtime) and limited resources to manage and calculate overtime pay. The staff section in calculating employee overtime pay must look at the employee overtime work order (SPKL) one by one so that it takes a long time, then input the employee overtime hours, basic salary, calculate overtime hours manually, and calculate overtime pay and total wages overtime, this requires accuracy so that if an error occurs it will be detrimental to employees and the calculation of overtime pay will be recalculated. This designed information system can make it easier for companies to calculate employee overtime wages and reduce errors in calculating overtime pay and validating overtime wage data. By using the extreme programming method, it can be more effective in the process because it can produce applications with a performance efficiency level of 75% of the planned target time. The results of the employee overtime wage accounting information system make it easier for the company to make journal reports on cash disbursements for employee overtime wages at PT Sugar Labinta.
