Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed various aspects of life, including the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. In Sekupang District, the adoption of digital technology by MSME actors faces various challenges, particularly in understanding and accessing such technologies. The purpose of this digital technology outreach is to enhance the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in adopting technology, enabling them to compete in the digital era. This outreach activity includes a basic understanding of business software usage, digital marketing strategies, and the use of social media to expand market reach. The methods used include seminars, hands-on training, and Q&A sessions. The results of the outreach indicate an increase in MSME actors' understanding of the importance of digitalization and readiness to implement technology in daily business operations. This program is expected to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in Sekupang District in facing the challenges of the digital economy.Keywords: outreach; digital technology; MSME; digitalization Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Di Kecamatan Sekupang, pemanfaatan teknologi digital oleh pelaku UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman dan akses terhadap teknologi tersebut. Sosialisasi teknologi digital bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam mengadopsi teknologi, sehingga mampu bersaing di era digital. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini mencakup pemahaman dasar tentang penggunaan perangkat lunak bisnis, strategi pemasaran digital, serta pemanfaatan media sosial untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi seminar, pelatihan langsung, dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil dari sosialisasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM mengenai pentingnya digitalisasi, serta kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi dalam operasional bisnis sehari-hari. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di Kecamatan Sekupang dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi digital.Kata kunci: sosialisasi; teknologi digital; UMKM; digitalisasi

Abstract

Cigarette smoke is one type of air pollutant that can cause various health problems, such as coughing, cancer and other health problems, especially when accumulated in the house, especially in the living room which is often used for gathering. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based cigarette smoke neutralization device that utilizes MQ-2 and MQ-135 sensors to detect the presence of smoke and harmful substances. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The development process of this tool is carried out systematically. This tool is equipped with a bot telegram notification system that provides real-time information to users regarding the air quality in the living room. When the sensor detects pollution levels exceeding the threshold, the device will activate the fan to increase air circulation and utilize the exhaust fan to neutralize smoke. In addition, the sound output from the speaker provides information about the air quality and notifies that the room has been successfully neutralized. Based on the test results, this prototype tool is able to detect air quality and takes ±1 minute to neutralize a room contaminated with smoke > 10 ppm while for smoke levels > 50 ppm, it takes ±2 minutes to create a healthy environment for the occupants. This research is expected to provide an innovative solution to the problem of smoke pollution and the implementation of indoor smoking bans.

Abstract

Background: As the number of elderly individuals in Indonesia increases, the challenges in providing effective and efficient healthcare services become increasingly complex. One of the main issues faced by the elderly is the risk of falls due to limited mobility and declining physical performance. Additionally, the lack of integrated medical record management often hinders the timely and accurate delivery of medical services. This Community Service program aims to implement technological solutions in elderly care through the development of a smart cane (LansiaTracker) and a medical record application (LansiaCare). The smart cane (LansiaTracker) is equipped with various sensors to detect the user's physical condition, provide early warnings of fall risks, and monitor daily activities. Furthermore, the integrated medical record application (LansiaCare) allows for real-time management of the elderly's health data, making relevant health information easily accessible to family members and medical staff. Method: Socialization, training, and assistance for the elderly at Puskesmas Tiban Baru, aiming to enhance their quality of life and reduce health risks. Results: The use of the smart cane (LansiaTracker) and the medical record application (LansiaCare) not only effectively supports the mobility of the elderly but also improves their overall health monitoring. Conclusion: The implementation of this technology provides practical and affordable solutions for various elderly communities, especially those with limited access to healthcare facilities, enhancing responsiveness in emergency situations and facilitating comprehensive medical data recording and management.

Abstract

The SILCARE system is a digital logistics platform designed to optimize shipping operations for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study evaluates its usability and user behavior patterns through System Usability Scale (SUS) assessments and clustering analysis. The research involved 100 SME users performing key system tasks such as registration, product management, and order confirmation. The SUS results showed a significant usability improvement, with the pre-test score of 74.5 (B grade) increasing to 90.25 (A grade) in the post-test, indicating enhanced user experience. User interaction data analysis revealed that registration took an average of 7.11 minutes, product addition 8.91 minutes, and order confirmation 5.15 minutes. Clustering using DBSCAN identified four distinct user groups, highlighting behavioral differences, where 37% of users struggled with complex tasks while 25% displayed balanced engagement. These findings inform targeted system improvements, such as simplifying workflows for new users and enhancing features for power users. The novelty of this study lies in integrating usability testing with behavior-driven clustering to refine a logistics platform tailored to MSMEs. By leveraging data-driven insights, the SILCARE system contributes to digital transformation in MSME logistics, improving operational efficiency and user satisfaction The paper explores the development process of the system, starting from the requirements gathering phase, where user needs were identified through extensive surveys and interviews with stakeholders. The iterative prototyping method allowed for the creation of an initial version of the system that was refined based on user feedback, ensuring that the final product met both functional and usability standards. The SILCARE system holds substantial promise for MSMEs, offering a digital solution for streamlining logistics and shipping processes and contributing to the overall success of small businesses.

Abstract

Robotics is a field that encompasses interdisciplinary sciences, ranging from the mechanics of robot construction, electronics, and control systems to artificial intelligence. Initially, robotics was widespread in industry, often referred to as industrial robots. The Mini Trolley Robot provides a solution to issues related to flexibility in the room. The robot’s operation can be directed using motion sensors. This research aims to develop a controlled exploration system with an IoT-based mobile robot using the MPU6050 motion sensor. This aims to provide a solution to flexibility issues in complex environments without using traditional remote controls. The system uses the ESP32Wroom as the microcontroller, ESP32 Cam for video streaming, a driver module as the driver, DC motors, and a 12V to 5V converter. The ESP32 module allows good connectivity and remote control via a Wi-Fi network. The MPU6050 motion sensor can read tilt angles based on sensor data contained in the MPU6050 module. To access this sensor module, the I2C data line is used. This research employs the waterfall method, which includes stages of determining user requirements, followed by planning, modeling, construction, system delivery to users, and supporting the entire developed software. The motion sensor from the MPU6050 achieves a considerable range from 5 to 15 meters with accurate results, while reaching 19 meters results in a delay of 2 or 3 seconds.

Abstract

This study aims to design a decision support system in determining drug procurement priorities at Endar Farma Pharmacy using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method was chosen because of its ability to break down complex problems into a hierarchical structure consisting of objectives, criteria, and alternatives. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and pairwise comparison questionnaires. The five main criteria used in the analysis were the level of drug demand (weight: 0.485), profit (0.227), order lead time (0.089), expiration risk (0.057), and stock availability (0.143). Meanwhile, the alternative drugs evaluated included Paracetamol, Amoxicillin, Metformin, Omeprazole, and Ibuprofen. The results of the AHP synthesis showed that Amoxicillin obtained the highest priority score of 0.295, followed by Paracetamol (0.291), Omeprazole (0.290), Ibuprofen (0.271), and Metformin (0.188). The entire calculation process meets the consistency ratio (CR) < 0.1, indicating that the assessment results are consistent and reliable. The application of the AHP method in this decision support system has been proven to be able to produce more objective and structured recommendations, increase the efficiency of drug logistics management, and help pharmacies reduce the risk of excess and shortage of inventory.

Abstract

Purpose: The interactive whiteboard serves as an information hub in the queue system, displaying queue numbers in real-time and enabling user interaction. Its key features include automatic queue number management, access to additional information, and integration with technologies such as printers and QR codes. Its benefits include time efficiency, an improved customer experience, and flexibility for use across various sectors, making it an innovative solution to enhance service effectiveness. Methodology: The PKM program began with an initial analysis through site visits to the port and interviews with PPMS members. Activities included theory, practice, and queue technology simulations. Preparations involved coordination, provision of equipment, and materials. PPMS actively participated by providing facilities and attending training. Lecture, demonstration, and practice methods were applied to enhance understanding. Results: The ship queueing system at the port enhances loading and unloading efficiency. Interactive whiteboards simplify queue management with real-time features, QR codes, and technology integration. Surveys show that 90% of users find this system easy to use. Conclusions: This service proves that the application of technology in managing the queue of pompong ships at ferry ports has a significant positive impact. Limitations: The passage lacks specific data, overlooks challenges like maintenance and system failures, and has contextual gaps. It ignores scalability, usability for older users, and environmental constraints, limiting its assessment of the system’s effectiveness. Contribution: This community service demonstrates that the implementation of technology in managing the queue of pompong boats at the ferry port has proven effective in reducing waiting times, streamlining departure flows, and enhancing passenger and boat operator satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: Decision support systems (DSS) have become an important tool in various fields, including the selection of fish seeds. Selecting the right fish seeds is a crucial step in successful fish farming. In this context, the Weight Sum Model (WSM) method can be used as an approach in decision making. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System for selecting fish seeds using the Weight Sum Model (WSM) method. This method allows a systematic assessment of various criteria that are relevant in selecting fish seeds. The first step in this research is to identify the criteria that will be evaluated in selecting fish seeds. Each fish seed is assessed based on each criterion using the appropriate scale. In the WSM method, the values given to each criterion are multiplied by the weight of the corresponding criterion, and the results are added up for each fish seed. The fish seeds that have the highest number will be considered the best choice based on predetermined evaluation criteria. This Decision Support System can help fish farming farmers in making more informative and data-based decisions in selecting fish seeds that suit their needs. Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Fish Seeds, Criteria, Weight Sum Model (WSM), Fish Cultivation. Abstract: Sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) telah menjadi alat penting dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam pemilihan bibit ikan. Memilih bibit ikan yang tepat merupakan langkah krusial dalam budidaya ikan yang sukses. Dalam konteks ini, metode Weight Sum Model (WSM) dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan untuk pemilihan bibit ikan menggunakan metode Weight Sum Model (WSM). Metode ini memungkinkan penilaian yang sistematis terhadap berbagai kriteria yang relevan dalam memilih bibit ikan. Langkah pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kriteria-kriteria yang akan dievaluasi dalam pemilihan bibit ikan. Setiap bibit ikan dinilai berdasarkan setiap kriteria menggunakan skala yang sesuai. Dalam metode WSM, nilai-nilai diberikan pada setiap kriteria akan dikalikan dengan bobot kriteria terkait, dan hasilnya dijumlahkan untuk setiap bibit ikan. Bibit ikan yang memiliki jumlah tertinggi akan dianggap sebagai pilihan terbaik berdasarkan evaluasi kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini dapat membantu para petani budidaya ikan dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih informatif dan berdasarkan data dalam memilih bibit ikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Bibit Ikan, Kriteria, Weight Sum Model (WSM), Budidaya Ikan.

Abstract

Abstract: that the number of catches obtained by fishermen is more optimal. With secondary data based on the type of cultivation developed by fishing communities, the authors intend to explore this data so that they can examine more deeply the most effective types of cultivation using analysis of variance to find out the differences between each type of cultivation and cluster analysis using the complete linkage method. to find out the grouping of marine culture production based on the types developed by fishing communities in Indonesia. The correlation between the observed variables is 0.008, so it can be said that there is no relationship between the observed variables. In addition, the sig. and t-test. sig value is obtained. > α (5% = 0.05). This means that there is a significant average difference in fish production results based on the type of cultivation developed by fishing communities. With the grouping of types of marine cultivation developed by the Wesleyan community using the complete-linkage method, they are divided into 3 groups based on the degree of similarity in the production results obtained. Cluster 1 consists of Floating Nets, and Pools; Cluster 2 consists of other seas, seaweed, cages, and fishing nets; and Cluster 3 consists of Fresh Floating Nets, Minapadi, and Ponds.            Keywords: Complete-Linkage; Fish Production; Mariculture; Multivariate Analysis; T-test;  Abstrak: Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya pada analisis variansi untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata pada masing-masing perlauan peletakan sudut jarring agar jumlah tangkapan yang diperoleh nelayan lebih optimal. Dengan adanya data sekunder berdasarkan jenis budidaya yang dikembangkan masyarakat nelayan, penulis bermasksud untuk melakukan eksplorasi pada data tersebut agar dapat mengkaji lebih dalam terhadap jenis budidaya yang paling efektif dengan analisis variansi untuk mengetahu perbedaan dari masing-masing jenis budidaya serta analisis cluster dengan metode complate linkage untuk mengetahui adanya pengelompokan hasil produksi bududaya laut berdasarkan jenis yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat nelayan di Indonesia. Korelasi antar variabel yang diamati sebesar 0.008, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara variabel yang diamati. Selain itu, hasil uji sig. dan uji t. diperoleh nilai sig. > α (5% = 0.05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata secara signifikan hasil produksi ikan berdasarkan jenis budidaya yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat nelayan. Dengan adanya pengelompokan jenis budidaya laut yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat neleyan dengan metode complete-linkage terbagi atas 3 kelompok berdasarkan tingkat kemiripan hasil produksi yang diperoleh. Abstract

The application of AI technology that is currently developing is very helpful in supporting the progress of MSMEs in various fields. By utilizing AI technology, it can help MSMEs who are having problems with product design and online marketing. This PkM aims to support the development of marine processed MSMEs in the Islands. The Pkm forum will provide knowledge and skills to MSMEs members for producing attractive and effective visual content and utilizing AI technology in marketing strategies. In this community service, the methods used are socialization by delivering equipment, practising using AI technology and discussions. In this way, it is hoped that MSMEs can increase its competitiveness and market share for processed seafood products, as well as support the Batam City government program in developing the MSMEs sector. Through this service, it is hoped that marine processed MSMEs in the Riau Islands can optimize their business potential by utilizing AI technology and visual communication in marketing. This activity will provide knowledge about the quality of promotional messages and attractive visual product presentations, so that MSMEs can produce marketing content that is effective in attracting attention and influencing the target audience. By increasing knowledge and skills in digital marketing, it is hoped that MSMEs can compete globally in developing the MSMEs sector and increasing exports of processed seafood products in the Riau Islands region, especially in Batam City.Keywords: AI; UMKM; Marketing Abstrak: Penerapan teknologi AI yang berkembang saat ini sangat membantu dalam mendukung kemajuan UMKM diberbagai bidang. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan UMKM olahan laut di Kepulauan Riau dapat mengoptimalkan potensi bisnis mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AI dan komunikasi visual dalam pemasaran. Kegiatan ini akan memberikan pembekalan pengetahuan tentang kualitas pesan promosi dan penyajian produk visual yang menarik, sehingga UMKM dapat menghasilkan konten pemasaran yang efektif dalam menarik perhatian dan mempengaruhi target audiens.
