Abstract

This study designs a decision support system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the priority of procurement of goods in the Sabila Craft Batam warehouse. This system is designed to help management determine the order of procurement priorities based on the criteria of inventory levels, demand, lead time, costs, and the importance of goods for operations. Through a hierarchical structure, the AHP method breaks down complex problems into objectives, criteria, and alternatives, and performs pairwise comparisons between criteria to obtain the priority weight of each element. The calculation results show that the Wall Clock product has the highest priority with a weight value of 0.302, followed by Keychains (0.299), Tumblers (0.274), House Numbers (0.262), and Baby Biodata (0.146). All consistencies meet a ratio below 0.1, indicating that the evaluations carried out are consistent. The resulting system allows for more objective and structured decision making, so that it can optimize warehouse efficiency, reduce the risk of excess or shortage of inventory, and speed up the procurement process.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed various aspects of life, including the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. In Sekupang District, the adoption of digital technology by MSME actors faces various challenges, particularly in understanding and accessing such technologies. The purpose of this digital technology outreach is to enhance the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in adopting technology, enabling them to compete in the digital era. This outreach activity includes a basic understanding of business software usage, digital marketing strategies, and the use of social media to expand market reach. The methods used include seminars, hands-on training, and Q&A sessions. The results of the outreach indicate an increase in MSME actors' understanding of the importance of digitalization and readiness to implement technology in daily business operations. This program is expected to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in Sekupang District in facing the challenges of the digital economy.Keywords: outreach; digital technology; MSME; digitalization Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Di Kecamatan Sekupang, pemanfaatan teknologi digital oleh pelaku UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman dan akses terhadap teknologi tersebut. Sosialisasi teknologi digital bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam mengadopsi teknologi, sehingga mampu bersaing di era digital. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini mencakup pemahaman dasar tentang penggunaan perangkat lunak bisnis, strategi pemasaran digital, serta pemanfaatan media sosial untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi seminar, pelatihan langsung, dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil dari sosialisasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM mengenai pentingnya digitalisasi, serta kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi dalam operasional bisnis sehari-hari. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di Kecamatan Sekupang dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi digital.Kata kunci: sosialisasi; teknologi digital; UMKM; digitalisasi

Abstract

Cigarette smoke is one type of air pollutant that can cause various health problems, such as coughing, cancer and other health problems, especially when accumulated in the house, especially in the living room which is often used for gathering. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based cigarette smoke neutralization device that utilizes MQ-2 and MQ-135 sensors to detect the presence of smoke and harmful substances. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The development process of this tool is carried out systematically. This tool is equipped with a bot telegram notification system that provides real-time information to users regarding the air quality in the living room. When the sensor detects pollution levels exceeding the threshold, the device will activate the fan to increase air circulation and utilize the exhaust fan to neutralize smoke. In addition, the sound output from the speaker provides information about the air quality and notifies that the room has been successfully neutralized. Based on the test results, this prototype tool is able to detect air quality and takes ±1 minute to neutralize a room contaminated with smoke > 10 ppm while for smoke levels > 50 ppm, it takes ±2 minutes to create a healthy environment for the occupants. This research is expected to provide an innovative solution to the problem of smoke pollution and the implementation of indoor smoking bans.

Abstract

Background: As the number of elderly individuals in Indonesia increases, the challenges in providing effective and efficient healthcare services become increasingly complex. One of the main issues faced by the elderly is the risk of falls due to limited mobility and declining physical performance. Additionally, the lack of integrated medical record management often hinders the timely and accurate delivery of medical services. This Community Service program aims to implement technological solutions in elderly care through the development of a smart cane (LansiaTracker) and a medical record application (LansiaCare). The smart cane (LansiaTracker) is equipped with various sensors to detect the user's physical condition, provide early warnings of fall risks, and monitor daily activities. Furthermore, the integrated medical record application (LansiaCare) allows for real-time management of the elderly's health data, making relevant health information easily accessible to family members and medical staff. Method: Socialization, training, and assistance for the elderly at Puskesmas Tiban Baru, aiming to enhance their quality of life and reduce health risks. Results: The use of the smart cane (LansiaTracker) and the medical record application (LansiaCare) not only effectively supports the mobility of the elderly but also improves their overall health monitoring. Conclusion: The implementation of this technology provides practical and affordable solutions for various elderly communities, especially those with limited access to healthcare facilities, enhancing responsiveness in emergency situations and facilitating comprehensive medical data recording and management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk membantu proses penentuan jurusan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah dalam memilih jurusan yang tepat dan sesuai dengan potensi dan keinginan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SAW untuk menilai berbagai kriteria seperti nilai akademik, minat dan bakat siswa, hasil tes psikologi, serta rekomendasi dari guru atau konselor Pendidikan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data siswa kelas X SMK yang terdiri dari nilai akademik, hasil tes psikologi, dan minat dan bakat siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem SPK berbasis metode SAW terbukti efektif dalam membantu proses penentuan jurusan di SMK. Sistem ini menghasilkan rekomendasi jurusan yang akurat dan sesuai dengan data yang digunakan. Sistem ini juga mudah digunakan dan dipahami oleh pengguna, sehingga dapat diterapkan dengan mudah di lingkungan siswa SMK.

Abstract

The SILCARE system is a digital logistics platform designed to optimize shipping operations for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study evaluates its usability and user behavior patterns through System Usability Scale (SUS) assessments and clustering analysis. The research involved 100 SME users performing key system tasks such as registration, product management, and order confirmation. The SUS results showed a significant usability improvement, with the pre-test score of 74.5 (B grade) increasing to 90.25 (A grade) in the post-test, indicating enhanced user experience. User interaction data analysis revealed that registration took an average of 7.11 minutes, product addition 8.91 minutes, and order confirmation 5.15 minutes. Clustering using DBSCAN identified four distinct user groups, highlighting behavioral differences, where 37% of users struggled with complex tasks while 25% displayed balanced engagement. These findings inform targeted system improvements, such as simplifying workflows for new users and enhancing features for power users. The novelty of this study lies in integrating usability testing with behavior-driven clustering to refine a logistics platform tailored to MSMEs. By leveraging data-driven insights, the SILCARE system contributes to digital transformation in MSME logistics, improving operational efficiency and user satisfaction The paper explores the development process of the system, starting from the requirements gathering phase, where user needs were identified through extensive surveys and interviews with stakeholders. The iterative prototyping method allowed for the creation of an initial version of the system that was refined based on user feedback, ensuring that the final product met both functional and usability standards. The SILCARE system holds substantial promise for MSMEs, offering a digital solution for streamlining logistics and shipping processes and contributing to the overall success of small businesses.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Inventaris Laboratorium Komputer di SMK Ibnu Sina dikembangkan sebagai alat untuk mencatat dan mengelola data inventaris. Tujuan utama dari sistem ini adalah membantu kepala laboratorium dalam melakukan pendataan aset laboratorium komputer dengan lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang mencakup hasil wawancara, data perangkat komputer, serta perangkat pendukung laboratorium. Selain itu, data sekunder berupa jurnal-jurnal yang membahas sistem informasi inventaris juga digunakan sebagai referensi.Metode pengembangan sistem dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan Rapid Application Development (RAD). Sementara itu, pemodelan sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML), yang mencakup berbagai diagram seperti use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, dan deployment diagram untuk mendeskripsikan alur sistem.Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi inventaris yang berfungsi sebagai platform pencatatan aset laboratorium komputer. Sistem ini memungkinkan kepala laboratorium untuk menyimpan dan mengelola data dengan lebih terstruktur, serta mempermudah pencarian informasi yang dibutuhkan. Pengujian sistem telah dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box untuk memastikan fungsionalitasnya berjalan dengan baik. Sistem ini juga dirancang agar dapat diperbarui sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan laboratorium komputer di SMK Ibnu Sina.

Abstract

Robotics is a field that encompasses interdisciplinary sciences, ranging from the mechanics of robot construction, electronics, and control systems to artificial intelligence. Initially, robotics was widespread in industry, often referred to as industrial robots. The Mini Trolley Robot provides a solution to issues related to flexibility in the room. The robot’s operation can be directed using motion sensors. This research aims to develop a controlled exploration system with an IoT-based mobile robot using the MPU6050 motion sensor. This aims to provide a solution to flexibility issues in complex environments without using traditional remote controls. The system uses the ESP32Wroom as the microcontroller, ESP32 Cam for video streaming, a driver module as the driver, DC motors, and a 12V to 5V converter. The ESP32 module allows good connectivity and remote control via a Wi-Fi network. The MPU6050 motion sensor can read tilt angles based on sensor data contained in the MPU6050 module. To access this sensor module, the I2C data line is used. This research employs the waterfall method, which includes stages of determining user requirements, followed by planning, modeling, construction, system delivery to users, and supporting the entire developed software. The motion sensor from the MPU6050 achieves a considerable range from 5 to 15 meters with accurate results, while reaching 19 meters results in a delay of 2 or 3 seconds.
